This is a 5-star foodie restaurant in Metrowest masquerading as a pizza joint. Very friendly service, delicious food & wine & very reasonable prices for what you get. We stopped by for dinner and ordered garlic knots, a calabria wine, bone-in pork shank (huge portion) and baby fern & mushroom pasta (with homemade tagliatelle pasta). All were delicious! Best food in Arlington!

First of all, the owners could not be nicer. Second of all the food is incredible. Now I will get into my story. Tonight our family had planned to go to a restaurant, but found out it was closed so I remembered that I had been wanting to try out this scratch food spot in the Heights. We piled the kids in the car plus one friend and arrived at the restaurant around 7pm. Literally no tables were full, but we didn't let that scare us because we know this restaurant does a good takeout business. We were told when we got to the counter we were told that we could choose a table, check out the menu, order at the counter, and they would serve us our food. I had already checked out the menu at home so it was easy to order. My daughter got butter noodles. My husband got the Friday night special pizza, we got a house salad with incredibly light ranch dressing. I ordered mushroom and spinach tagliatelle. The boys ordered tagliatelle, one with meatballs and one with a side of chicken breast. We also got the duck fat fries. I am really sad I did not take a photo of the house salad because it was absolutely gorgeous, but it was devoured so quickly I did not have a chance! We all enjoyed our meals. We were really impressed by the high-quality ingredients and the friendly service. The interior is not fancy or high end, but when we are taking tweens out for dinner, that is not what we are looking for. We just want a comfortable restaurant with really good food and friendly service and we found it at prep neighborhood kitchen.

Prep Neighborhood Kitchen in Arlington Heights = new fave recommended by an Arlington friend. This is a cozy little, no frills place. The hosts/owners/cooks were super nice and really enthusiastic about what they were offering. The dinner was outstanding. We loved everything we had: garlic knots - yummy, lamb dish - perfect, winter salad - delish, chicken thighs - crisp, yet juicy and tender, carrots and quinoa dish - so good, plus a decent bottle of prosecco. Due to a spring storm they were not overcrowded, but I am guessing they usually are. We were there for a small, double birthday celebration - it was just perfect for us! I am looking forward to referring friends, but hope it doesn't end up getting so popular we won't be able to keep returning.PS: They do a brisk takeout business as well

Fantastic food, great service, locally sourced high quality ingredients! There's a clear passion for good food in everything I've tried here that kept me coming back. This place is a hidden gem and easily the best food you can get in all of Arlington. If you're a local you owe it to yourself to try it out and if you're just passing through, I can't think of anywhere else I'd pay to eat in the Heights or even all of Arlington.

So exciting to discover another good restaurant close by! I wanted to give this small, unassuming neighborhood place a boost, but I see they already have lots of great reviews. Nevertheless...I had the most delicious panini I've ever had: prosciutto and burrata with tomato jam and pesto on house made focaccia. My friends shared the OG mushroom pizza with a side of broccolini.I could seriously eat here several nights a week. Everything is made from scratch, and the menu changes often. And the service was friendly and attentive. Our waiter,Tony, was a friend of the chefs, so this place had a homey feeling as well. And although it was busy when we arrived, we were able to hear each other without yelling across the table, a real plus since so many restaurants have no background noise moderating design.

First time this evening but we will be back! Great pizza. Nice beer selection. Simple menu with local farm sourced food. Seems like a pair of guys who are owner operators. Wish we'd found this before!

I think this is arguably the best Italian in the city. Everything on the frequently changing menu is excellent!

We ordered 3 pizzas, salad and garlic knots online. Based on previous reviews we were excited about the food we would be getting. The pizzas were average, and disappointing for the price. We did enjoy the veggie pizza.
