Italian food truck in Boston! They pop up in different locations throughout the week, and you can see where on their website. My friend and I always go to their truck when they're at SOWA Sundays, and sometimes it'll be the only reason we go to the market that day. The food heavily reminds me of the sandwiches I would get at my local Italian spots in New Jersey, which is not something I really ever found in Boston. Menu is really small, but everything is good; focused on hot Italian sandwiches (made with eggplant and chicken cutlets), with a changing monthly special. The staff is young (founded by college friends!), super friendly, and they bring a really good energy every time I've visited them. Be warned - their portions are large and very filling. Good for a quick lunch to takeout and enjoy outside when the weather is nice.My favorite sandwiches to order here are the Drunken Parm adn the Caprese Melanzana!

I got the monthly special Purple Line- thinly sliced eggplant, crisply fried, with arugula and red peppers and a delicious spread of burrata. Glad I got a half sandwich as it was a substantial portion. The bread was soft but held up well. One of the two owners took my order and was very friendly and personable. Will be back to try other things on the menu!

Ya girl is back once again with a Yelp review. This time it's for a food truck. Food: 5/5 THIS SANDWICH WENT BACKKKK, and so will I. The sandwich I ordered was the drunken chicken parm. The sandwich was good, the meat to bread ratio was 10/10 nice and even. The sauce has the right amount of sweetness, and flavor which does not over power the chicken. The chicken was thinly sliced and breaded, cooked well so that it wasn't rough or super chewy like a lot of subs with thin chicken slices. The meat was layered with sauce in between. On the top of the chicken and sauce was cheese of course- with slices of mozzarella which seemed to be legit not the kind you get a local pizzeria with all the vegetable oil spots. Quite honestly, for a food truck in downtown Boston and the amount of food you get it's worth the $17 price tag- which i know can be steep for some. My photo is only half of the sandwich- I was too deep into the first half. Sorry. Service: 5/5 The service was very good. I went around the time the truck opened- which is what I'd recommend for any business where traffic can pick up easily. The gentleman was super sweet, service was prompt- i got my sandwich within 10 minutes and it was warm. Location: 3/5 The location is in downtown near rowed wharf. For a business it's well located, lots of foot traffic- and they move. I can only speak for the rowes wharf spot. The park is tough, i have to be honest- the truck was a bit hard to find BUT if you go to this link and select get directions, it puts you right near it www...rosekennedygreenway....org/map/?location=food-trucks-rowes-wharf-plaza...of course remove the extra periods. I'm personally not a fan of places that have heavy traffic nor the city. Parking: 1/5 as explained above. Prices: For a food truck the prices lean towards high. But as stated previously, i think it's worth it based on location and quantity. Suggestion: A sandwich with chicken slices and eggplant slices combined would be FIRE.

Paisani has the making of something great, but in practice, things start to fall apart, literally.I ordered the Arancini and Drunken Parm. The Arancini was excellent. These came out almost as soon as I'd ordered them and tasted very fresh. They were cooked perfectly, with a crisp exterior and a warm, soft corn and risotto interior. Flavor-wise, it was spot-on! The seasoning level was on-point, the vodka sauce was divine, and the risotto & corn had a mild flavor that just worked. With the Drunken Parm, things start to go downhill. It has the same divine sauce, and I want to give them credit for the fresh bread. There was a generous amount of chicken, and the flavor was A-OK, nothing remarkable, but no negative points. The option for ricotta was a nice touch as well.Unfortunately, the fresh loaf combined with a very saucy chicken means the sando fell apart when I picked it up, quickly becoming a fork-and-knife affair. Where it comes to food trucks, something that's convenient on the go is essential. Speaking of: the minutes of a lunch break are precious, and it was around a 15-minute wait to get the sandwich. This wait may be acceptable for a restaurant but less than ideal for a truck. Finally, there was the sheer sticker shock which was the price. The Arancini was $7, and the Drunken Parm was $17. I appreciate that everything is getting more expensive, but $24 before tax feels excessive for what I got. Paisani brings great flavors to the table; however, especially for a food truck, the execution and value are not at a level to have me clamoring for a return visit.

The drunken parm sandwich is real good. Dare I say the best I've had in the city?! They charge $18 for it and although that seems utterly ridiculous even for Boston, it is worth every penny. Chicken is thin and crispy and smothered in some magically delicious sauce. If you like chicken parm, you must experience this sandwich. Haven't tried anything else on their menu because I can never not get the chicken parm.

You couldn't ask for a nicer group of guys. So humble even after being on TV. And the food is quality and the quantity that they give is phenomenal.

My brother stopped by Paisani food truck and came back with drunken parms for the whole family. Even after the 25 minutes drive home all 4 sandwiches were perfect. There was the perfect amount of sauce to cover the large portions of chicken but not too much so the sandwich didn't get messy or fall apart as you ate it. Sorry mom but your chicken parm doesn't compare!
