Three friends all say that this is their fav restaurant in the area. We are lucky to grab bar seats at 6:30pm on Tuesday. I heard that reservations are really hard to make. But we don't mind sitting at the bar at all! The ambience is casual and homey. Servers are very friendly. We ordder 6 dishes plus 1 dessert. Very full!! Will probably just do 5 dishes next time. $85pp. Food: #1 - Fatteh: our fav dish of the night! Soooooo good. Would come back again for this Also #1 - Baked Alaska: super good dessert. #2 - Sultan's delight: very flavorful beef and basil. This feels like something we would get at other restaurants too though. #2 - Fish Tagine: I love it!!! Flavorful but not too rich. Fish is very crispy but not too deep fried. # 3 - lemon chicken, lamb eggplant masoukka, topki are all good but 4/5 probably. Lemon Chicken looks really good but is a bit underwhelming.

I love Oleana so much. The food, the service, and the atmosphere are fantastic here. Whether I book a reservation or sit at the bar as a walk-in, I never have a bad time here. The food consistently makes me come back. Recently, I celebrated a birthday dinner here and it was fantastic. We shared the dark leafy greens ($9), topik ($14), Vermont quail kebab ($17), sultan's delight ($20), and brown butter pudding filo rolls ($10). We also got a few different drinks - the non-alcoholic seasonal spritz that was a pear cardamom spritz, seasonal sharbat, and bonal gentiane-quina. Everything came out at different times, but it was worth the wait across the board. I loved each dish but the one that stood out to me was the sultan's delight. I was obsessed with the tenderness of the meat. I would come back for desserts anytime because their desserts are incredible. Can't wait to come back!

What We Ate: Za'atar bread with whipped lentils, Red Pepper Dumplings, Feta Katafi, Fatteh, Dark Leafy Greens, Sultan's Delight, Almond CremolataWould Recommend? Sure, but not to the same extent that many reviews would make it seem to believe.Solid, but shockingly over-hyped farm-to-table mediterranean. Our favorite was the Fatteh, for textures and flavor.Fine: Za'atar bread was fluffy but lentil-pumpkin dip leaned sweet. Bread is not served warm. Red pepper dumplings were flavorful but dense. Sultan's delight, which is a heavier braised beef dish, could use some relief. Tahini on the almond cremolata was off-putting but tasty once we got past it.Disappointing: Dark leafy greens, ran salty and poor value for what it was. Feta katafi, not enough katafi and ran very sweet.

5 Stars for what I can honestly say is in my top 5 restaurants I've ever eaten at. Also- order everything on the vegetable meze section. We had a Sunday 9:30pm reservation as that's all that was available a week out, but we tried our luck and came in early and scored a spot at the bar. Rebecca was the bartender and came highly recommended by the hostess who suggested those seats over others that happened to be available. We fully trusted Rebecca after she suggested the perfect mineral-forward white wine based on my very bad description of flavor preferences. Of all the dishes we ordered, there was not a single one that felt forgettable. Each dish was surprising and had at least one element that completely blew us away. Below are the dishes you MUST order!- Za'atar bread with pistachio muhammara: This was my single favorite bite of the evening and tbh of 2024. The bread was exceptionally seasoned and the pistachio muhammara was a revelation. It was topped with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and olive oil. I'm considering going back tomorrow for this dish.- Spinach falafel with tahini sauce, beet tzatziki, and pickle slices: These falafel were moist and hearty. They balanced the zesty beet tzatziki and pickles perfectly. - Fatteh-- caramelized onions, cauliflower, crispy mushrooms, pine nuts, and yogurt between delicate sheets of filo. Every element of this dish was intentional and necessary to create this simultaneously light and satisfying small dish.Potato and red lentil Kubba featuring Swiss chard, pistachios, eggplant jam, and fried carrots. This is a more robust, filling dish that comes piping hot. It felt like comfort food elevated. Dessert: Do not miss the Turkish style profiteroles or the Milk jam filo rolls. Both are sweet and complex, but also totally decadent. Beyond that, the wine list (many natural wines!) is robust and well curated. And for us newbs, the bartenders and staff are unbelievably helpful and unpretentious. Overall, the service, ambiance, and food stood out and make this restaurant one of my new forever favorites. It truly cannot be missed!

love this place. Such a cozy restaurant with a kind of bohemian vibe. Bartender there was very friendly and knowledgeable and responded some amazing dishes, which are small meddetrrian tapas style. The food was outstanding 1) Bluefish Conserva- light and flavorful with good acidity. Bluefish was fresh and tender 4/52) Fatteh- so good. Very savory and light. Greta textures with different vegetables and the crunchy flatbread. The yugat sauce added a nice light tartness too 5/5 3)Sultan's Delight- beef was so tender and great umami flavor. Eggplant pair great with it 5/5 4) red peper dumplings- the only heavy dish I had. Was very interesting and tasty with a rich tomato yogurt sauce. 5/55) Vermont Quail Kebab- Tasty dish with thick tender quail atop crispy rice. Very mild kick to the dish with pistachios to add a little nuttiness and sweetness 4/56) Turkish Style Profiteroles- a little salty a little sweet, a little savory. Great dessert. Halva added the sweetness and the cooked cashews added a nice saltiness and good texture. 5/5Will be coming here many more times for the food, ambiance, and kind staff

Make reservations early because this place is often in high demand (for great reason). Our server was amazing and recommended some great dishes for us, as well as proper portion sizing for a small dish/sharing type of place. I truly think you can't go wrong with your dish selection because they just nailed all the ones I had tried. I was blown away by their balance yet complexity in flavors, clean feeling food, and creativity and would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is so hyped and it doesn't fail to meet expectations. We ordered the fatteh, red pepper dumplings, sultan's, and lemon chicken, and profiteroles and they didn't disappoint. Fatteh is a must 10/10! Flavors and textures all mixed extremely well together in a unique way. Would recommend if you're into culinary creativity. 6/5.Sultans was good, but probably least favorite. Nothing stood out, I wouldn't order. 3/5Dumplings were good as well. Super flavorful and basically wanted to drink the sauce it was in. 4/5.Lemon chicken was really good and filling! Everything else I wish there was more of but the chicken was a great amount. I thought there'd be bones in it but it actually is just a hunk of chicken. Super easy to eat and the crust is crispy in the best way. Cooked to perfection and so moist. Definitely order to round out the rest of the food. 5/5.Everyone else ordered the profiteroles so we got them, but honestly they were okay. They look like Greek donuts and so I didn't expect there to be a creamy filling, wish there wasn't. That's on us though. 3/5. All in all really unique spot and would highly recommend trying out at least once. Staff is incredibly nice as well. Not overhyped!

This place is very popular! We couldn't make a reservation (for five people) so there was a little bit of a wait. Thankfully, the outside patio was available and they provided snacks and drinks. The restaurant itself is beautiful, though they do not have the best air conditioning system... It was very muggy outside, which meant it was very muggy inside. The food was delicious, and they are very accommodating to dietary restrictions. Wait staff was very attentive even though they were so busy, which we really appreciated.Overall a really lovely experience. Would recommend making a reservation if you can!

Oleana was overall quite a good experience!! We started off with the special, which was a peach blossom salad that was delicious and almost reminded me of caramel popcorn. The spinach falafel was probably the best falafel I've had as well! The sultan's delight was delicious, and very rich. The moussaka was also very good and had interesting texture. The fried mussels were also excellent. The trilece was not my favorite, but still good. I'd like to come back to try and sit outside on the patio next time!

Delicious and a wide range of all categories food. Quick and efficient service. Simple yet relevant to the theme ambience. Sultan's Delight and Warm Buttered Hummus are must tries. The touch of Turkish cuisine specifically is hard to feel yet totally a successful celebration of the middle eastern tastes.
