I picked up lunch today at Mediterranean Grill, which has a deli-style counter with sandwiches prepared to order and a display of ready-to-go pizza slices with assorted toppings. It's a big menu.My eye landed on the grilled honey turkey sandwich and it was ready quickly, wrapped in foil. I got a soda from their cooler and a bag of chips to go with it.Back at the apartment, I unwrapped a still warm sandwich. Plenty of turkey on the grilled rye with a nice layer of melted cheese. I don't know what I got. I ordered a shrimp primavera and see what I got, just a fettuccine with veggies. This is not what I paid for, since this is a company lunch and my coworkers picked up for me, I can't go to the restaurant to show them what I got.

I love this place! I come in once or twice a week for their breakfast sandwich, and oh man, is it as good as it gets. Large coffee and a freshly-made sausage egg and cheese on an English muffin comes to just over $5. McDonald's prices, but they crack an *actual egg* in order to make it! The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious. I was hooked when I had my first one.It's not like I go in every day or anything, but they still know my order and start making it as soon as I walk in. Actually, they started doing this after I showed up just a few times in as many weeks. Seriously, in theory, I can walk in there, not say a single thing to anyone, and leave with freshly cooked goodness. Granted, they're super friendly, so I do say "Hello!" "How are you?" "Yes please!" and "Thank you"! Otherwise, it would get really weird. It's simple, it's fast, it's friendly. They use regular brown paper bags instead of anything fancy. It's just a no-frills little neighborhood deli/grill, but... you know, in the middle of the financial district :) Love it!

Seems like your run of the mill deli/sandwich lunch place, but the chicken Caesar salad wrap was really good. The chicken was warm and very juicy and cut into thick strips. The dressing wasn't too heavy and topped with big shavings of parmesan cheese.

Food was amazing. Sweet tea is amazing. The staff was amazing. They took the time to explain what was what. The salads are actually salads with actual vegetables and not just lettuce. Watch the olive seeds.

Their pizzas are just sooo good, and it's the crust that makes it...fresh and addictive. I also go for their salads, my fave is the avocado and mozzarella combo, yes, they're prepaid, but it helps beat the lunch rush and the toppings are placed thereafter.I had a sub here once, I was underwhelmed, so they get 4 out of 5 stars.
