"What a great place to stop at when visiting, or living, in the Boston area. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. You definitely want to give the Burrata Crostini a serious consideration as your starter. #DukeOfEats"
"Nice ambiance to just hang out or to be with friends. It's on the corner with lots of windows so it's bright and a good spot to people watch. The ice latte was definitely very good as was the seasonal scone."

"Visited for the first time with my son, who recommended the location. We entered on a quiet Tuesday morning and it was 1/2 full. We were quickly seated and approached with menus and settings. I had the french toast with bacon and my son had the pancakes with a bagel. He had a cup of coffee and I ordered a white milk. The food was delivered quickly and it was awesome. Great breakfast! Certainly a gem!I am not sure if I would have ever went here if it weren't for my son, who told me about it. I will definitely be back. Price was fairService was excellentParking was easy...across the street at a meterFood- excellent5 stars!"
"So glad this place recently opened! I was looking for a place to hang out and have a coffee, quick bite to eat, and read. There's parking nearby in a covered garage for free, and many shops in the mall. I had a pour-over which they serve in a cute glass set-up, and a savory byte, which is a croissant-waffle "croffle" with melted cheese. With everything seaoning because it's the best. Loved it!"
"I was staying at the Seaport Hotel in Boston for a work trip and one of the breakfast places called the Seaport Bakery is located inside the hotel. The Seaport Bakery has a wide range of goods such as banana bread, lemon pound cake, scones, muffins and much more. The baked goods change daily. There are other items that can be prepared as well such as a bagel, bacon, egg and cheese. The team here is absolutely amazing! Each morning, around 6:30 a.m., when I would come to the Seaport Bakery for breakfast, all of the team members would greet me! Tuesday morning:Hot cocoa and Banana BreadWednesday morning:Breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagelThursday morning:Soda and a cranberry muffinThe hot cocoa was delicious, especially on a chilly morning! The Banana Bread was scrumptious! My favorite though was the breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel. The bagel was fresh! The Cranberry muffin was great, not too sweet and packed with cranberries. If you're staying at the Seaport Hotel, Seaport Bakery is a great spot for a quick breakfast!"
"What a wonderful treat after a nice dinner here in Boston. It's a quaint European bakery with lots of delicious treats. They have everything form croissants, baklava, cookies, homemade pies, and other goodies such as candies and coffee. I opted for an almond croissant and my little one wanted a peanut butter cookie and a lollipop. On the other side is a cute quiet area to hangout and eat for snacks or even work. I loved this place! Next time I'm in the area I will be buying a whole cake!"
"My goal was to find a good breakfast spot while visiting Downtown Boston that offers tasty food and coffee but that would be filling enough since I was going to do a lot of walking.I was initially deciding between Café 26 and a breakfast spot across the street but saw that this café didn't have a wait which initially worried me because the spot across the street had a long wait. I'm so glad we gave it a try because this turned out to be a great spot. So good that we ate here for breakfast both days. There was no wait, and even if there is...people usually pop in and out pretty quickly. The first day I ordered the build your own omelette with a mocha latte. The following day I ordered the French toast with strawberries, Nutella, and whipped cream, and another mocha latte since I liked it so much. So pleased with my selections. Both days we didn't have to wait and we were in and out pretty quickly to continue our day strolling around Boston. This café is small but big enough to accommodate. Seemed very clean. The only complaint I had the first day was it was warm inside the restaurant because they don't typically run their AC and we went during a warm week. Other than that I have no complaints. The service was good. The café is in the middle of downtown, so not sure on the parking, but you would typically walk here. Good breakfast spot you should def check out."
"Really cute cafe! They sell a bunch of plants in addition to coffee, tea, pastries, and breakfast! The service was really quick although there was a huge line after I ordered. I really liked the strawberry matcha latte because they use a strawberry puree. It is a little on the thicker side because of the strawberries. The chai latte was good but I liked the strawberry matcha better. The cruffin was also delicious. I would definitely come back to this cafe!"
"Great place to get some good food with the option to do some studying/work! I came on a Friday at around 5pm and it was surprisingly quiet with 2 tables occupied. Food I tried:* Pork Katsu Curry - The pork was a bit dry, but with the curry sauce it's better.* Veggies Croquette Curry - Love the extra crunchy croquette!* Cafe Itadaki Omurice - Knowing there aren't many omurice in the area, I have to say this omurice tastes better than the other places I've had in Brookline/Boston! It has the right amount of flavor and fluffiness, sauce, and texture in every bite.* Matcha Mille Crepe Cake - This has more vanilla/cream taste than matcha, so good for those who don't prefer that strong matcha taste.Aside from the food, I love the ambiance - clean and calm. It's definitely a good place to do some work and get some food that will fill you up compared to other cafes.Overall, it's a decent quiet place that I'd come back to with friends and some work! Highly recommend their omurice!"
"A wonderful little Cafe for breakfast, lunch, or just a snack. Stopped in for a coffee during a morning rain. Got a latte with oat milk, and it was so well prepared. Fresh ground and ever so good. It definitely hit the spot. The staff was very friendly and kind. The offerings look wonderful and highly recommend it."
"This place is a hidden gem. It opened at 7:00 and filled right up. I must be the last to discover this place.I don't know how they remember everything on their menu. There was so much to choose from.As soon as I sat down I was given a menu and water. They had four people in the kitchen and three people handling the customers.I had the "ultimate omelet" with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. They gave me a choice of 5 cheeses. Then I had raisin toast. I usually don't see this option. The interior was all wood, finished wooden counter, wooden booths, pretty ritzy for a greesy spoon.I wish I had found this place sooner. I would return."

Dining method: Dine-in/counter serveItem(s) ordered: Egg and cheese on piadina, egg and cheese on everything bagel, peach lemonade, strawberry lemonadeSpeed: Took under 10 minutes for freshly-made foodAmbiance: Light, airy open-air cafe in the North End with a European feel. Beautiful place, a few tables. Value: Very much worth every penny! (@ducali, please don't change your prices :))The review: With social media unearthing every spot imaginable, one might think that hidden gems are out of the question. However, the North End certainly has one--Caffé Ducali. The aesthetically-pleasing eatery is just as delicious as it looks. When it comes to shelling out $1 extra for the piadina, you will absolutely not regret it. The egg and cheese sandwiches at Caffé Ducali were freshly-made, steaming hot, and downright delectable. The piadina was the best, essentially a small wood fired pizza crust, enveloping the egg and melty cheese. As a self-proclaimed bagel expert, the bagel was a close second. I usually get coffee everywhere but something possessed me to not only order the lemonade (strawberry), but to also convince my friend to do the same. I took some Yelp reviewer tax and tried hers, the peach lemonade, which was even better than the strawberry. They simply were delicious and refreshing. There is an attached Ducali Pizzeria & Bar, which I look forward to trying very soon. This was truly my top café experience in Boston, and I've been to many. Caffé Ducali is my new favorite and soon to be yours too!

A sweet, charming bakery. You can order outside via a counter or go inside to order, there are some tables inside. I got a lavender latte + orange ginger scone and both were delicious. Sounds like they rotate scone flavors so ask them what they have. Located in what seemed like a quieter part of the city, easy to get to, street parking in the area.

Solid new coffee shop that opened up inside the shops at chestnut hill. It replaced the Starbucks that closed down and it looks like the set up is kept the same. It appears that the coffee shop is a small local business that is Asian owned. Love to support. They source their coffee beans from Fazenda which is a solid local roaster (my family uses fazenda coffee beans when we make coffee drinks at home). Big fan of their cloud foam latte. It had a nice balance of creaminess and sweetness that was well balanced with the espresso. Their vanilla custard waffle is also super flavorful. Friendly staff who are super helpful. Can't wait to go back to try more of their drink and edible offerings.

I dropped in here this morning to grab a quick bite before heading to a meeting. I had a blueberry scone, banana, and bottled OJ. The scone was nice and flaky and the blueberries were bursting with flavor. The cashier was a bit confused on whether the scone on the counter was mine but sorted it out with the other staff. Good morning stop.

Came on a Thursday morning around 9am for a quick bite. I chose an almond croissant and iced chai latte, but there's a large variety of treats that I definitely want to try next time. The space is large and open, with tables of various sizes. It's a peaceful environment with music playing and there were a few people there with their laptops. I didn't look too closely but there are outlets scattered around to plug into. While the chai wasn't great, I enjoyed my croissant. I'll give them some leeway since it's a bakery, not specifically a cafe.

Okay quality cafe near the Boston Common. I ordered the pancakes breakfast plate with ham and blueberry pancakes. The pancakes, eggs, and ham were all very standard quality - not bad but honestly I could've made those pretty easily myself. And it came with one of those little Smucker's breakfast syrup packets and a butter packet, which was a bit of a cheap look. $15 was a fair price. I also got a party cocktail smoothie ($7), which looked great from the description based on all the fruits and froyo that were blended in there. However, it ended up being too sweet and not that enjoyable. The cafe has a standard mid-quality cafe kind of environment. It has a decent amount of seating inside and is conveniently located near the Common. Our waiter was not particularly friendly though. The service speed was okay.Overall, Cafe 26 is very average quality. I wouldn't go out of your way to come here, but if you are looking for a casual brunch spot that will just do the job, you could stop by here.

Food was so good here. They also sell plants, super cute cafe. The jasmine lychee tea was really good here as well. It's def not a restaurant vibe, you just go in seat yourself and order your meal. They do not tend to you. I had the loaded breakfast with the garlic aioli. Their haus aioli is like a honey mustard I guess and im not usually into honey mustard so I opted for the garlic aioli. It was delicious!

"Local cafe with juice/breakfast/brunch/lunch options! Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining! Nice portions, flavorful food, and friendly staff. There's a clean bathroom as well. Gets busy in the afternoon so come early! Lots of locals come here!"
"This small little café is run by some really friendly folks! They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. There is seating inside at a few tables or the counters lined by the windows. There is also outdoor seating and fido is welcome! We ordered to go and I was awestruck with the portion size of everything. The banana bread was very moist and delicious. The smoothies and frozen coffees were large as well, but very sweet - so it's hard to drink the whole thing! And the food cost were very minimal for the amount you get. I ordered the Colombian breakfast twist (sans the chorizo) and had enough to two meals. The quality of the food is average to slightly above - nothing fancy, but it's consistently busy in there, so I imagine the food is too."
"OMG, so many baked good to choose from & so damn tasty!! Woohoo for pumpkin muffins & toffee cookies. I ended up getting a sandwich called New Edition as well & it was so damn good. The names are pretty interesting & done w/ serious thought. So great there are veg*n options.Yes you need to go here, like now."
"My husband and I went to this place during our honeymoon when we were staying in Hull. Breakfast was delicious and prices were really reasonable. We saw a lot of people come in and buy bread too. Next time we're in the area I'll definitely stop by."
"Last time. This place is honestly my favorite cafe of all time. Best coffee.Awesome staff. Every is great"
"Excellent brunch meal here with friends. You have to go for the breakfast sandwiches. The fresh baked English muffins take it to the next level, along with other flourishes, and great combos of flavors. Noticed that they have specials. A couple of people in our party got a special sandwich- with egg and chorizo, on a special English muffin- potato chipotle. I imagine they were pleased- all the plates were empty. I got the Miss Maple- a maple butter cheddar and egg sandwich (love salty sweet) on the classic English muffin. They make the eggs medium, but you can request to have them made how you like. We also had a really good scone with lots of walnuts inside. The food is definitely made with care, including attention to all the ingredients. You can tell that they really like supporting local and are discerning (based on the jams, and products in the general store next door)."
"I met Haley House during the pandemic. She was consequently doing her version of shelter-in-place which meant having truncated hours, online ordering and no customers inside. I would say "rude!" except that I understood because the 'rona is real y'all! Additionally, if she weren't playing so much peekaboo, I wouldn't have met one of their cooks (Tony) sitting outside one Thursday morning. He was friendly and kindly told me the hours. If you don't know ANYTHING about Haley House besides what's written on Yelp, I encourage you to do a little work to educate yourself. It would be inconsiderate to rate her anything less than 5 stars because of her nonprofit work. This isn't necessarily about my customer experience, it's about uplifting an entire community of vulnerable individuals. That said, my experience has been excellent. This is the best food I've had in Boston!I started with the Nubian Square Wrap which is made with jerk chicken. So much yes! If you eat on the patio, Haley gives you a bowl of goodness and a hot flatbread (chapati) to wrap it in yourself. There is WAY too much goodness for the flatbread so you'll be able to enjoy it later at home. It's amazing. It has a lot of spice without setting my mouth on fire. The flavors sing like a coordinated choir! The chicken and waffles. OMG. My wife took mine from me and then ordered some for herself the next time. The syrup has a little spice to it and the waffle (or maybe the chicken?) has a hint of coconut. Finally, the pea shoots have such a nice fresh contrast that lifts it all up. Yum yum yum!I had the Mediterranean Wrap last time and my wife stole every other bite. The hummus and roasted broccoli gave me life! It tasted so good, thorough and thoughtful. So many vegetarian wraps taste similar to one another but not this one. I loved it! It paired PERFECTLY with the salad that featured kale, squash, cranberries and seeds. So vibrant and interesting! We've also had the epic chocolate chip cookie. I don't know how to describe it except that it's the best chocolate chip cookie that either my wife or I has had in our entire lives! Finally, we're ordering from the guest chef, an Indigenous person, who is taking us into pre-colonial fare just in time for Thanksgiving. Haley House gave us literature about (basically) the genocide and general disregard of Native Americans and how we should take time to appreciate and uplift them. I can't wait to try the next guest chef menu at Haley House. We also love supporting the Black owned wines and beers that Haley features on her menu. Haley's the best!"
"This place has grown into a cute, reliable, tasty start to my day!Very convenient in Newton corner, expanding hours, looking for help, aren't we all?Wonderful breakfast and lunch options, even for the vegetarian.Sean is a great man, and he has a beautiful family. Please check them out!A nice comfortable space to enjoy spring eating!"
"We loved Cafe Beatrice! This little gem was just what my hubs and I needed after running around the city all day like the tourons we were. We were looking for something casual and close by, and were hoping for a tasty meal as well. CB checked all of the boxes. We each had their Cubano, and although it's a little different than the traditional sandwich we're used to, their interpretation was delicious. On our way out we ordered a slice of peanut butter pie, which was amazing. I ate half it in bed back at our hotel and finished it off the next morning for breakfast. It was that good - and the slice was enormous.Thank you to the staff that was sweet enough to answer all of our questions with patience and kindness. They were awesome."
"Picked up palak(spinach) chicken with rice and it was fantastic. Palak gravy was very flavorful and I was delighted to finally taste a good spinach based gravy after a long time. Excited to try more food options from this place in the future."
"Such a cute, trendy cafe located on Newbury Street. They are mostly known for their desserts, which are made fresh daily in-house. Their desserts rotate regularly and I always get to try a few new ones. During peak hours, it can get very crowded here, and it may be difficult to find seating. I've tried their drinks but they are a bit expensive and were alright. However, they have the cutest pastries that you cannot miss out on. They come out super photogenic, and the craziest part is that they taste as good as they look!I've tried a good amount of their desserts by now, and I have to say that Rose is my all-time favorite. I also really love Love and Green Apple. Geometric Apple is a popular one made for those chocolate lovers! One is usually not enough for me because they are too delicious.Sometimes they will sell out of certain items if it's busy, so it's better to go earlier in the day. We tried taking the dessert to-go before, but it didn't taste the same. Don't forget to get a stamp card if you're a repeat customer!"
"Perfect post-aquarium stop for a coffee. The latte was silky smooth with the perfect foam. Their pastry selection was limited to croissants but that was one tasty chocolate croissant!Seating is limited to two small tables inside and two more outside so not the place to linger but perfect for a quick coffee."
"Loved this hidden gem! I never have super high expectations for hotel lobby food but cocorico had solid pastries! I got the chocolate almond croissant, which was crispy, buttery, and decadent. It was quite sweet and heavy, though. The seating area is pretty small but there weren't that many people there. There are a bunch of outlets, but overhead lighting is a bit dim--still a decent place to get work done. My main gripe is that the pastry prices aren't listed :("
"A friend recommended In House Cafe and I was able to stop by for Sunday Brunch. The wait time was short, the food was tasty, and the ambiance was wonderful. They offer a combination of traditional American and Syrian breakfast options. Service was surprisingly quick and they have a small amount of groceries you can purchase. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!Notes: Everything is halal. Parking is limited."
"Brief Summary:- Coffee is not sour- Indoor and outdoor seating availableArriving first thing in the early morning and we were looking for a place to eat. We have searched around online before landing, and I was looking for cafes. This was listed in one of the places we wanted to go, and was surprised to see multiple of them across Boston. We chose the one on the way to our destination.I ordered a latte and a bagel sandwich with smoked salmon. I enjoyed the latte, and I also got to take a sip from the house brewed coffee. Not sour either, so that was a great start of the morning. For the smoked sandwich, fillings inside slid along but I enjoyed the texture of the alfalfa with the softer textures of the egg, avocado, and the smoked salmon. I was slightly disappointed that the bagel wasn't toasted, so the texture ratio was overall softer and more chew than if the bagel was toasted."
"We had great experience with this coffee shop located in the Boston Public market. We were craving a second pick me up for the day and ordered their pumpkin spice latte and a flat white. Their pumpkin spice latte is exceptional. They make it using real pumpkin products and you can definitely taste the difference. Way less sweetness than most other versions out there. The staff were incredibly friendly and memorable. Highly recommend getting your caffeine fixed here if you find yourself at the market or in the area."
"As I am a gluten loving person I did not rush out to try Verveine when it first opened. Having now seen the crowds calm down during the weekend breakfast rush hour I ventured in to check their offerings. While I only tried the gruyere and cheese hand pie I don't regret my choice. The hand pie was hot and crispy and the filling was delicious. Their cookies caught my eye but that's for another visit."
"Heard of this by way of a recommendation from a bunch of people who had spent more time in the area. Super convenient and dependable coffee shop that is a small chain.I really love their aesthetics. The white tiles and pastry display was a total win. It was incredibly chic and pleasing. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and there was seating indoors and outdoors. The staff is kind but rush you as the shop is quite busy. Everyone is moving at a fast pace. I went twice and their service seemed very good but not focused on individual. One time the food and drink really quick for me, but slow for my friend (and I ordered second) and another time. It was slow for both of us but fast all around us. The first time I got a salmon and egg sandwich and it was huge! A bit too much of the herb dressing, Their croissants/bread is the centerpiece for sure. A little bit hard for a croissant, but overall great flavor and texture. The second time I got a pistachio croissant and it was not my favorite. Basically a croissant that was sliced open with some pistachio cream inside. I wish I had selected something else. While they are good quality, you can certainly tell that they are built for mass production.Cappuccino was delightful and they offer a variety of options for milk. Didn't totally love the iced coffee, but that's OK. It still hit the spot. Nothing to write home about but a solid choice. The outside area can become quite windy so be cautious. Also, the door is so hard to open that a few people almost tried to walk away and give up because they thought the shop was closed."
"Been here multiple times because the food is solid and drinks are on point! Great local business and ai love their business model of helping others with food. Will keep coming back for sure!"
"I am currently sitting inside Little Luna as I write this review. This place has all the aesthetics as Cafe Luna minus the huge crowd and noise. The menu is a lite version but still has all the classics like the Kitchen Sink, omelettes, and sweet breakfast items. The dishes taste very similar with a little variation, which is nice and refreshing. The service is order at the counter and find your own seating. The staff are friendly but probably could be more attentive as I was missing a fruit plate with my dish. Overall such a good experience and refreshing change!"
"Do you want some of the yummiest little pastry things in Malden? What about a latte so big you can barely hold the cup with one hand? Bikeeny's got you. Ok I think I've had all their or most of the flavors by now!! Nutella-9/10, only bc there is a slight chance I'm a little allergic to hazelnut but not enough to stop me (I also get hazelnut lattes so idk man but it's worth it)Jalapeño popper/cheddar: 1586/10Asiago chili: 10/10Feta dill: 8/10Hazelnut iced latte: 100/10The earlier you go the better to make sure they have all the flavors and don't sell out!! Cute inside and people sit and do work! Very lovely spot. It is expensive so not an everyday treat but I love it so much."
"We came here for lunch. It is a very charming small space, with outdoor garden seating in the back as well. We got chicken banh mi and a salmon noodle bowl. The food was good, but I think I prefer my salmon raw. The two coffee drinks (I forget what they were but I think one was salted) were stunning. The cookies were so so good (one fudgy and one I think was pumpkin). I would say the coffee and cookies here wowed me a lot more than the food. Would definitely come again."
