Bono's Italian Restaurant might not immediately catch your eye, but don't judge a book by its cover. Despite its unassuming appearance and sparse crowd, the food here is a decent surprise.As a group of seven, we savored a variety of dishes, with the standout being the Chicken Scampi Pizza, which impressed us with its flavorful toppings. Each dish, whether it was the Fettuccine Alfredo, Gnocchi, or Seafood Ravioli, boasted rustic flavors and generous portions.Despite its unpretentious setting, dining at Bono's felt like stumbling upon a hidden treasure. With its hearty portions and delicious fare, we left feeling pleasantly stuffed and satisfied, already planning our next visit.

So, I wrote that yesterday I went and got 2 slices of their cheese pizza and a kids spaghetti with a meatball The Meatball was huge and there was a nice portion of spaghetti. It was absolutely delicious! I was unable to finish it all. To have leftovers is fabulous. It came out nice and hot. Their spaghetti sauce is homemade as are their meatballs. It is probably one of the best spaghetti and meatballs I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend them and their food.

Since the new ownership food quality and service have improved! We'll done. Our server was awesome!! Thank you...

If you're looking for a locally owned business, with the worst service ever, this is the place. After over an hour and 2xs of giving me the wrong orders, and refusing to refund my money ($50 for two pizzas). In today's world, over priced pizza and teenagers who find it appropriate to argue and tell you to wait (over an hour for take out) and to take the pizza for leftovers, ( since it was too late for the kids to eat from here, before their evening activities, not to mention I sent the kids elsewhere since this place was not able to get our order correct, which was literally 2 lg pizzas, one cheese and one pepperoni/ sausage ) is not the place we choose to spend our money.

Great service! Incredible food. All the Italian staples you could ask for! They have some nice local beers and homemade desserts to bookend a great meal. Not many points for decor but with great food and service you won't even notice. Don't miss this hidden gem.

Met family here to catch up. My wife and I opened with adult beverages. I must say I was a little disappointed that their cocktail menu was so limited. That said I had a good martini while my wife enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir. There was no cocktail or wine, menu per se, just the table tent. After our family arrived, we ordered starters of spinach and artichoke dip and bruschetta. Both were huge and delicious! I really appreciate the patience our waitress had with us. We chatted so much. We were also happy to find out she was from Fullerton, California. Will be there in a little over a week! We had a variety of main courses. I opted for the seafood fra Diablo, my wife the ravioli with bolognese sauce, our niece chicken Alfredo, and her boyfriend a pasta and chicken dish. The dishes all came out well presented, and were absolutely delicious! Our waitress you even talk to us into a cannoli for dessert!

Great food. Great service. I have had their meatball sub and it is fantastic. Plenty to share or eat later. Tried their pizza for the first time. The crust was great, the flavor was wonderful. I really liked the chopped sausage instead of the lump sausage at most places. We had the 14" pizza with eight slices. Plenty for two of us with 1/2 to bring home. I see why this local haunt has been there so long. The only negative was the temperature in the restaurant. It was cold. Had to grab a jacket.

Just another family Italian joint. I really don't know the appeals of such establishments, they all feel similar to me. Service is definitely good, when one of our friends complained her shrimp scampi doesn't taste as expected, they were quick to make something else to make up for it. Our dishes taste hot and fresh, not bad, not great either. I'm disappointed that an Italian restaurant doesn't have more pasta shapes than penne, Mac, fettuccine, and spaghetti. Only one dessert was ordered on the end, the chocolate cake is gluten free and our friend enjoyed it, it looked pretty good but u didn't get to taste it so can't comment on it.

We arrived in Golden around 2pm and asked the hotel to recommend a local lunch spot. Fortunately, Bono's was around the corner. My wife and I split a meatball sub and a salad. Both were good.The staff was very friendly.The restaurant looks like what you'd expect from an old-style family restaurant.

Great food, super friendly service, a wonderful local find! Prices are reasonable. Our waitress was so nice that she gave us a second dessert to take home on the house.We will definitely go back !
