We arrived at 7pm on a Thursday evening and were immediately given a table on the patio (the last table in the place) for our party of 4. We were having a goodbye dinner for friends who were moving out of the country. It was over 25 minutes before we were brought menus and waters. We ordered drinks all around which took another 20-25 minutes to arrive...we also ordered 2 appetizers which came with those drinks. We ordered food when we received the drinks and appetizers. Then never saw our waitress again. Everyone on the patio started talking about how long it was taking to receive their orders and about how long they had been there with no service. At 8:50pm one us went inside to inquire about our orders. We were sitting at the table with dirty plates and empty glasses. We were told by the waitress that she didn't know how long it would be. Apparently the chef had quit? No mention of this to the patrons. Again everyone on the patio was complaining and really beginning to become very frustrated. Since it had been an hour since we had placed our order, we decided we would just go in (because our waitress certainly wasn't coming out), pay for what we had and leave. When we went in, there were probably 2 tables still left inside and 4 outside waiting. We made a comment to the waitress that the manager should have been attending to all of us patrons offering sincere apologies about how the night was going. The manager was literally right there and started arguing with us! She was saying to was too busy to be just walking around to tables...she was actually yelling at us for being frustrated over this 2 hour experience. I have NEVER experienced such behavior. Needless to say, we left without dinner, at an hour where it was too late to go anywhere else. Based on the horrible service and the actions of the manager, we will never return and I will not recommend this place to anyone. I am still shocked that the manager yelled at us for being upset. All that was said was that she should have been apologizing to everyone. Worst dining experience I've had ever. If I could give zero stars I would. Also, about 4 or 5 other tables walked out at the same time after waiting more than 2 hours for food.

Ambiance: I wanted so badly to have a good experience here. We sat on the patio on a nice spring evening. The outside area seems perfect for people watching & enjoying a nice cocktail. However, I was unable to do so. I ordered one glass of red wine and everyone else at my table ordered a whiskey flight and beers.Their beers and whiskey flight were delivered as well as our appetizers and food. I was told by our waiter the wine I ordered was out, would I pick a new one? I picked a new one - only to be told that's the wine they were out of and so my original wine choice was placed again. Between this mix up on our waiter or the bar staff's end, it took about 45 minutes for me to get one glass of red wine. By this point, we had finished our food and everyone at our table had finished their drinks. I would say it was an extremely negative experience, especially given the price of the food and cocktails. We picked this spot to enjoy our drinks outside over shared appetizers and food. There was no urgency or attempt to make up for their mistake. The food itself was quite good but the entire ambiance and situation became stressful as a customer. I saw many other tables get their wine and drinks in the 45 minutes it took for me to get one glass of red wine. Our waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu or any pricing of items. It's hard to overlook a situation like this when you're paying a decent amount for food/drinks/ambiance. We correctly ordered and had more than enough patience. I would not recommend eating/drinking at this spot as it seems the priorities towards customers differs greatly. Regardless of my experience, this is a dog-friendly spot with indoor & outdoor tables. Street parking available.

Another great experience! The ambiance was warm and cozy. The drinks were balanced and delicious! We tried a couple from the seasonal menu and some standbys. The food is just as tasty as the drinks. Every time we visit this place I wish we went more often. It is so good! The service was good but be warned that it is slow. It's totally worth it but I've never been here and had things come out quickly so make sure you have time to enjoy the experience. Our server was very friendly but a bit slow to refill waters. As soon as we asked for more she was happily on it. Great place, warm atmosphere and delicious food and drinks!

The food was excellent. Really enjoyed the crab cake eggs Benedict. Since we were there at brunch, we didn't partake of the outstanding looking bar menu options. Definitely coming back!

Unpopular opinion but this place is overrated, overhyped and overpriced. It was better when it was the unpretentious, cute, little in-town spot known as Patsy's. They still had the pizza oven, a rotating menu of specials and even a coffee bar with a drive through. Now it's a Heights wanna-be gastropub where I can't even substitute the average steak fries, for my average at best, $16.5 lunch meatball sandwich (a certain sandwich chain from New Jersey had a better meatball sub for half the price), without an up charge. Seriously? The restaurant itself is quaint although during the busy hours it is cramped and loud. They do have some good cocktails but be prepared to pay Las Vegas prices (I'm talking about on the strip, not old Vegas).Anyway, pictured is my as mentioned, $16.5 meatball sandwich I got for lunch with fries that I couldn't substitute without an up charge. The sandwich was ok, bread was good and crusty, the meatballs were kinda grainy and didn't have much flavor. The fries that I didn't want were a little on the soggy side but I ate them anyway. Wife had a chicken sandwich that she felt was also just 'meh'. The avocado cakes appetizer was also just ok; I love all of the ingredients in this dish but the execution again was lacking and was a bit heavy on the extra runny goat cheese that tasted more like yogurt than goat cheese. They also needed a crispier exterior given how mushy the avocado inside is supposed to be.This was probably our fifth time to patronize this restaurant; we swore it off several years ago after noticing the food consistently declining each time we went and the price consistently going up, until I paid $55 for an alleged Wagyu steak special that was honestly one of the worst steaks I've ever been served. Nonetheless, we decided to try it one last time to make sure, and that's exactly what it was, our last time. A lot of people may disagree, but this place just isn't what it purports itself to be.

This is a hidden gem in Tomball! We had the filet with the mushroom risotto. The filet was cooked to perfection and I wanted to lick the risotto plate clean! Great food, great drinks and amazing service! This was our first time but we will definitely be back!

I adore downtown Tomball. I love sitting at the chefs' table watch everything happening. The service always comes with a wonderful smile, and the food is never frozen, always fresh. You can taste each ingredient in every bite. The pizza offered a symphony of flavors that had my taste buds trying to identify each one. That's when you know the food is excellent - it makes you do a little happy dance in your seat. There's ample parking behind the building. Bathrooms are very clean. They also have outdoor seating with heaters. They're even starting a new Thursday night five-course wine tasting with a five-course meal for $145 per person.

If you are in no rush and are okay waiting minimum two hours for your entree to come out, then come here.... But if you don't want to wait that long then do not come here.... I feel so bad for the wait staff at this restaurant because the manager is horrible!! If an entire restaurant has been waiting for hours on end for their food you would think that possibly an appetizer or a few drinks would be comped and the manager or someone would come around and apologize. Nope, none of the patrons got anything. Then i saw the manager arguing with people and being defensive about them asking why their food was taking so long versus being apologetic. As someone in the restaurant industry it was mind blowing how unprofessional the manager was; and i was just a bystander. I unfortunately will not be coming here ever again.
