This food is INCREDIBLE!! You can tell that lots of love is put into it. The folks working, who I believe were named Ivory and Angel, were extremely kind, warm people. Best food and service around, truly finger-lickin good. Definitely recommend the overload, the cream sauce is divine. Gumbo and kebabs are great as well.

Solid! Definitely will recommend! Had a small event needed catfish last minute and chicken wings Angel took care of me.

Hands down the best Cajun food I've ever had in Texas! We got the Hot Topic and Overload and they were on point! Huge portions with tons of flavor. This is my new gem. Service was excellent.

The location is really the problem It scares me off so many homeless The lady and gentleman were very niceAnd I waited quite a while to get my foodLike 50 minutes.....The gumbo is really lovely A little salty and rice was kind of hardThe vibe was none due to it is inside of a gas station

Decided to order through Uber Eats & I was surely impressed. I LOVE seafood & Sauce ! I ordered the "Hot Topic" & it did not disappointment. The Hot Topic has Shrimp, Blackened Catfish, rice & a great cream sauce! If you don't like your food sauced up, this isn't the place for you, but I love Sauce so it was a match made in heaven. The food came hot & Fresh! Everything was seasoned beautifully! The Shrimp was very tender & fresh. Catfish was great & wasn't gummy. Rice was tender Cream Sauce was a hit!! Only thing I would have preferred was the consistency of the sauce to be a slightly on the thicker side but that's just my preference. Overall the food was great !

This was my 2nd visit. The food was fire. I live in Los Angeles and this food was unforgettable. Its's fresh and made to oder so be patient. While you wait it will be like sitting in grandma kitchen waiting to lick the spoon. They will provide plenty of samples. The best hospitality and small family business. If you have the opportunity to support you won't be disappointed.

Customer service alone gets it 5 stars. A family owned business and they let you sample everything on the menu. I personally loved the overload. The overload was really good. The combination is different. It reminded me of the soup at the Olive Garden, but way better . It's creamy with spinach and chicken and shrimp. I definitely will go back again.

An absolute must-stop when in Houston. The food, the customer service, everything is 5 star and beyond. You know a food establishment is good when they offer up samples as soon as you walk in. I am not a fan of spicy food at all, and I want to go back tomorrow. So, so good!!Highly recommend either the Hot Topic OR Overload - one order is plenty for 2, possibly 3 adults depending on how hungry you are. They even have an all-veggie option that was yumm! Have picky kiddos? No worries - they will cook up a (large) burger or some chicken nuggets for them, and my kids gobbled it all up! The burger is big so if you don't have big eaters, have them share it. Prices are very good for the portion size, AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CANNOT BE BEAT. Seriously the owners were so nice - stop by next time you're in Houston and see for yourself!!

My husband and I stopped in during our last night in Houston before heading home. What a find! We ordered the hot topic, overload, and gumbo. We planned on splitting our meals so they were kind enough to split it for us. If you check the pictures overload is on the left and hot topic is on the right. Oh my God was the food incredible. My favorite was the hot topic and my husband's was overload. I think with either meal you will not be disappointed though. There was tons of meat and seafood in everything we got and the FLAVOR. My gosh, so good. Please please check them out. They were so kind and the food was incredible. You will not be disappointed.
