Bo Ne Houston

You have to drive around some continuing construction in the parking lot, but the increased space is comfortable. The beef is still sizzling and the bread baked perfectly. Plenty of elbow room now, but I don't know if the Landlord permits the tenants to again feed the birds. (They can't stop ME from dropping some crumbs, though, can they? )

The Bò Né Houston ($16.95) Sizzlin' Steak & Eggs, served with Salad, Baguette & Pâté, exceeded my expectations. Arriving on a Sunday noon, I was seated promptly, and the food arrived swiftly. The freshness of the salad complemented the sizzling steak and eggs, and the baguette with pâté was simply perfection. Loved how well it goes with the Vietnamese ice coffee too! looking forward to my next visit - a true gem worth returning to!

Oct 2, 2023Haven't been here since they moved into this new place; much bigger! Wish the owner was here... she might remember me coming here for her pate, even after I moved to Galveston (which i still live there!) Her son waited on me tonight, I told him this was my fav Vietnamese placeI got 2 orders, spring rolls, and, of course, TWO orders of pate (liver with spices--soo good) served with French breadI also got what used to be her mung bean balls for dessert... but they're NOT the same. These are huge and no mung bean filling - SAD! These taste good, BUT I very much miss that filling...wish I had known that BEFORE I ordered FOUR!!LOL!Pate is soo good...tried sirracha on it...Yum!And this is THEE PLACE that turned me on to mung bean 12 years ago...oh well.One suggestion is to roll the spring rolls tighter---fell apart easily. Taste great just turned into salad!! Ha!4 spring rolls, 4 desserts, 2 pate's and 1 water $38(I remember when the prices were half of that)

Trying out Bo Ne in Houston is an absolute must, in my opinion! My boyfriend and I came here for brunch on a weekday, and luckily, it wasn't too crowded. I would imagine this place gets very packed at brunch on the weekends though.We both ordered the "Bo Ne Houston (the Original)." We also ordered extra bread, which does cost extra. I can't imagine myself eating this meal often because it does feel a little heavy afterwards. I love everything that it comes with: steak, eggs, pate, and butter. It just all ties together so well, and you HAVE to eat it all with the bread. I also like the salad that comes on the side too! The salad was refreshing to eat with the meal. The service was great when we came. I will definitely be returning again.

The service was super quick and the people were nice. The restaurant is very spacious and had plenty of seating. Parking was a little hard but not impossible. The food wasn't bad. We enjoyed the salad. However, the bo ne could have used some more seasoning and a little more sauce. The bread and pate was good. We ordered some to-go with us. Overall, we had better but there are other aspects that helped.

I was full when i came here but I finished half portion of my husband's Bo Ne and a whole bowl of Banh Canh. The taste of both dishes were at the right point where your tongue would tell you to eat them all up. Price is a little high but worth it. Highly recommend!!!I supposed to post a better picture but food looks so tempting . Gotta eat right the way!!! Btw, you should go into their restroom and take a look. My husband said it looks like Bellagio's restroom in Las Vegas. One more thing that I like it here is their bread are fresh make from their own restaurant

Been here to the location quite a few times. Service is always good and fast. We always come in just right after the lunch rush so there's always plenty of seating available. Love the murals on the wall, very creative! I've always ordered the Bo Ne Houston (the Original) and it's always satisfying. Th portion is just right and the steak is tender and flavorful. I've had the Bo Steak before and is just as delicious, such a big chunk of steak that's perfectly sizzled. Our order's normally come with salad and baguettes with pate which we enjoy as well. This time we ordered the fresh shrimp spring rolls, which didn't make the photos cause they were so good we just gobbled them up. They were freshly made, we can tell from the way the noodles consistency and the sauce it came with, chef's kiss! Will definitely keep coming back for the Bo Ne and to try other dishes.

This place is name after their signature dish yet the dish itself was not up to par. We came here the day after Labor Day and it was 2 other tables there when we arrived. There was a lot of dirty tables so we assumed we got here after their rush.There was only 2 servers working and they were nice. They were busy prepping the other tables sides that they didn't see us or acknowledged us; which is. They told us to sit anywhere and offered us water and etc. we ordered bánh xèo and the bò né special. Bánh xèo was weird, it was filled with so much onion. I didn't even know people put that much in there; I would've ask for no onion if I know. The ratio of onions outdo the bean sprouts. I'm used to bánh xèo being served with the Asian lettuce but this place served it with iceberg lettuce. Their bò né is even worse, it has no flavors! The only thing that was good was the butter, pâté and the xíu mại. The dish itself supposed to come with a little sauce but nothing. The meat was tasteless and dry so we didn't even finished it. I feel like this place could've been great but because they offered so much varieties that they're just ok. They're always busy so I guess other people don't care about quality like that. We came in needing a quick bite to eat and came across this place for BoNe. Staff is really nice and attend to us in a timely manner. We decided to order the BoNe Houston and Com Bo Luc Lac.Their portions are somewhat small compared to other but the price point were good in my opinion. Wasn't overly expensive and I didn't leave out feeling sluggish or hungry.The BoNe was cut thinly. The Bo Luc Lac was a bit sweeter than I was expecting. It wasn't bad none the less. Their French bread and Mayo/pate were really good though. I am curious about their crawfish so may come back to try.

Parking lot is a nightmare Spacious and clean ambience It was pretty slow for a late lunch time. Bo ne (original) the meat was kinda blandBanh xeo not bad lots of fillings and I like the sauce onionEggroll was ok The bread was over toasted Menu is lots of option to cater different taste buds.
