Omg! Sooooooooo dumb. Hostess told us we couldn't sit at a table for 6 as we were only a table of 4. Place was dead. Then she said we were too loud n sent her manager out to speak with us. We were talking with some people we met at the beer fest. There was no yelling . They are closing in 30 minutes. We literally were the only table out of 20 empty tables outsideUuuuugh! I would never recommend this place for anyone. I own a bar & would not like my girls treating customers this way.

We went for happy hour and was pretty pumped with the prices! All the food pictured, and 2 margaritas, 1 IPA, and the sangria swirl was $98 total before tip. Food and servers came around rather quickly and were very friendly! Food came out just as we ordered it with no errors!Good experience and not much to not like about it. The carne asada tacos were definitely the best (and 100% what I would get when I go back) Followed by the pork then the shrimp. The nachos were unconventional and nothing to write home about. Salad was tasty and a very good size! Definitely Will be back!

Food is great and service was as well. Recommend the pork and chicken tacos. This area of downtown Denver is perfect to stay in if you're visiting from out of town. Tons of great places to eat that's an easy walk.

First time dining at a Blue Agave restaurant. The restaurant was spacious and our waitress was friendly except for the manager on the floor.The manager greeted everyone in the other tables except for mine. I felt racially discriminated against since we were the only table that was not Caucasian.The food was ok, taste was mediocre and the enchiladas were suppose to have lobster and shrimp but ONLY had shrimp. I didn't want to question this issue so I let it sly because our waitress was sweet.Won't ever dine at a Blue Agave restaurant again!

It's been awhile since we have eaten her and it seems the menu has improved as well as the food. The 16th street mall, Colorado's #1 tourist attraction is in the midst of a massive, much needed, multi year renovation. Blue Agave happens to be on the first section of this project to be completed. The outdoor seating area is easily four times its original size and it's very inviting. Lots of plants and two and four tops that could be configured for 6-12 tops if they were so inclined. The service was great. Seated quickly and no wait. Our server was on top of things and kept us hydrated and the food coming. We started with queso fundido. This is really tasty indeed. Green chilis. Multiple types of cheeses and chips and tortillas to scoop with. Very delicious. We ordered the Santa Fe Cobb and the chicken enchiladas. Both were delicious and made with quality ingredients. The salad was loaded with protein although I don't ask for any. Loved the fresh avocado and boiled eggs. The food is great, service is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a summer evening on the patio.

Food was great! Service was a little slow due to we were in the bar area and another server had to serve us at first since the bartender (which was her area) was busy. Maybe have a server in that section instead of the bartender?

This is a nice casual restaurant near Larimer Square on the 16th Street Mall with indoor and outdoor seating. We were looking for lunch on Saturday around 1:00 and there was ample seating. They were pleasant and accommodating. Their order of eggs didn't arrive so I couldn't get the Eggs Benedict; however they still prepared it but used scrambled eggs. The scrambled eggs come premixed. The food was good.

We came here before the theatre. Service, while not particularly friendly, was very fast. The warm chorizo corn dip is very tasty. My Mom had the signature asada which she loved. I had the top shelf enchiladas, which have lobster and shrimp (mostly shrimp). The flavor is lovely, but they were a little cold. Also, our dishes arrived right on top of the appetizer, so we ate them together. The plating is gorgeous.Desserts, however, fell flat. I had the peanut butter chocolate mousse, which while a serviceable mousse, had no peanut butter that I could detect. My mom had the toasted coconut blondie, which she said was over cooked and hard, so she didn't finish it. The restaurant itself is very pretty and clean, and was quite busy, so I appreciated that they got us taken care of in time for the play.

Food was good. Had food from the brunch menu, breakfast enchiladas- tasted as expected . From the regular menu- The "cilantro" Caesar salad with salmon, had a very small piece of salmon and not a sprig of cilantro in it. Also ordered the pork belly street tacos,got the carnitas , but ate them anyway. The tacos were fine, a bit on the greasy side. The side salad was a bit silly. Canned mandarin oranges added nothing. Dressing was sweet, pecans were candied nibs. It's a salad for a child. Foolishly, I saw the description and still ordered it. Also got the corn chorizo dip- which was delicious. The air conditioning wasn't working that well. Music was good. During lunch in a Saturday, this place was pretty empty.
