Blu Seafood House

My first restaurant stop in Atlanta, and did not disappoint!I came with a girlfriend, and first of all, the ambiance is like a club almost! There was a literal DJ playing throwbacks the whole night. The music and blue lighting gave it a nice vibe. Very different than I'm used to in LA.I wish I remembered the server's name, but she was the bomb! Attentive and good with the recommendations (and funny lol).Now, for the food! I'm in town for work, and since I have to stay fit, I wanted a healthier dish. I went with the Stuffed Chicken with Corn and Mashed Potatoes. 10/10! I devoured every bite. The spinach and cream cheese filling was PERFECT! I actually never order chicken at restaurants because it's so basic, but nothing was basic about this dish!My friend got the lamb chops with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It tasted yummy to me, but she did say they felt a bit tough. This was a nice intro to the ATL foodosphere, and I'm gonna give it 5 stars because I have no complaints!

I like the ambiance of Blu Seafood house. There was a security officer at the entrance upon my arrival. Which made me feel safe about leaving my car infront of the building for streetside parking. I sat at the bar, and got a hookah and a half of dozen of oysters . I want to point out, I hate the fact that now & days hookahs are on a different tab from your food & drink tab because for some reason I feel rushed to pay by hookah vendors/waitresses/waiters... Which made the experience especially in a restaurant/lounge setting seem rushed, and not relaxing. But, that's neither here nor there the service was great. I enjoyed the blue lights, and variety of music being played. The oysters were very mediocre. But I really see potential in Blu Seafood, and I hope to come back and experience them on a better note.

Well, here stuffing my face again and as you know seafood is life!! And I do mean life!! To know me is to know that crab legs are a weakness and I can't help myself but to indulge every chance that I get. A friend and I went to blue seafood house. It wasn't our first time however, it was our first time trying all you can eat crab legs, and let's say I had to pop a botton on my Trousers. I actually enjoy blue seafood house aesthetically the lighting is very pleasing, it is dimly lit with blue lights with small Hughes of purple. It makes the ambience of the place so much better. Now on this particular night they did have a live Dj and were doing karaoke, so it was a bit loud however we knew what we were getting into so it wasn't overwhelming. I of course was Indulging in crab legs, but I did have a Hennessey margarita to start and some lobster mac & cheese. My friend actually had the lobster and waffles.( I actually thought that was the weirdest combination. I had never heard of it before, but he seemed to enjoy it.) and we enjoyed some bottomless mimosas. They happen to be serving at the time.I will say that it was pretty busy and I do remember the host forewarning us that the kitchen was a little backed up so we did take some time for our food to come out. However, our server was very pleasant and we could tell that she was a little overwhelmed, so I always think it's important when you're going to establishments to give grace, especially when , there seems to be a little bit of chaos in the back of house. Needless to say, even though there was a little bit of a wait time for us, and the DJ was kind of rocking out a little bit louder than I would have liked. We will be returning to try a couple more things on the menu as we are seafood people and the food actually came out piping hot and seasoned very well .If you're in the Midtown (Atlanta) area, I think that blue seafood house would be a great addition to your seafood list of restaurants .

Food.... Delicious. Service....Not Bad at all! Surprised with it being ATL... I'm used to subpar service. But this was great.Everything else. Eh... if I could give it 3.8 stars I would. Our table was beyond wobbly and the ceiling was leaking when though it wasn't raining. I'm assuming maybe it was the A/C. And it was only leaking in a small area. Everywhere else appeared to be just fine.I ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and the Shrimp Platter.The shrimp were great! Fried well and well seasoned. The lobster Mac had a great taste but tasted heavy on the half and half. There was a generous amount of lobster meat. I'll be back when visiting to try more of the menu

All you can eat crab legs monday! Ambiance is nice. Service is usually pretty steady but sometimes can be slow. I arrived at 4 to start the endless crab legs so it wasn't crowded. Definitely a favorite spot

Our executive team decided to patronize Blu Seafood to celebrate employee appreciation day. Our group all arrived on a Friday afternoon around 4ish. The establishment was not busy and the bartender acknowledged us right away and assured us as soon as our entire party arrived we'd be seated.In route to our table we noticed that all of the daiquiri machines at the bar with the exception of4 seemed to not be working. (Note this is big attraction of this place) The best thing about our entire experience was our sever Shawnna, she was really great. It took about 45 minutes to get our drink order to us and about another 25 before the food came out. Most of our entrees were cold ! Major disappointment because who wants hot entrees luke warm or cold? Flavors on the crab claws and catfish were nice but everything else needed sauces to be good. We had various fried platters, crab fried rice, pasta dish, and multiple salmon orders. No one care for their blackened salmon. We had heard such great things but unfortunately were very disappointed.

Really cool vibes at this spot! Food was awesome! Alorah, Jado and Dee were absolutely phenomenal! They took very good care of us! Super attentive!

The food and daquiris are very good, whenever you actually get them. The service is SSSSSLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW. Was seated immediately and was told the server would be right out but didn't get service for 20 minutes, everything was about 20 minutes to do or get and the restaurant was definitely on the empty side. It was early in the day and barely anyone was there. It seemed to be one cook which is why the food took so long to come out. They give a real nice samples of the daiquiris to try before you buy, they are nice and have a good amount of liquor and the food was actually really good it just the service has got to be better.

I really believed from the outside looking in that this seafood spot was going to be great. My mom always told me, don't judge a book by its cover..that sentiment is true, unfortunately for Blu Seafood House.. Everything was underwhelming..

Blu Seafood House is a very spacious and eye pleasing restaurant....The patio area is really nice at night! Parking can be a hit or miss if the area is busy as it does have several other restaurants along Marietta Street, but the is a park ramp 3-5 mins down the road.I'll be honest the host are the most unwelcoming every time I come to the location but when you can past them I typically get a pretty nice server and during this visit I had a bartender by the name of Asia! She was multi tasking but was still so attentive to my needs.I ended up getting one drink (Sauvignon blanc) and Jumbo Shrimp w/fries All food came out fresh and was pretty tasty.Definitely check out their daily specials as they have "All you can eat Crab legs" on Mondays and etc!
