I scheduled a reservation here for my birthday dinner because of the aesthetic and l will say it was slightly disappointing. I arrived first out of my party and walked up to the hostess stand where I was instantly met with looks that seemed as if I was bothering them. I told them about my reservation and got seated quickly. The server was so sweet and grabbed everyone's order with no problem and answered our questions well. The food was very 50/50 half of the group enjoyed their meals. I ordered the bbq pork tacos that came out extremely sweet (i didn't mind) except my tortilla fell apart almost instantly. My friend ordered a chicken bowl that got doused in sour cream to the point where it was basically soup. Another friend ordered the chicken tinga enchiladas that were also in a pool of sauce. After our food was brought out we were never checked on.We couldn't find our server for over 40 minutes and flagged down another employee who happened to be the bartender/bar back. Only to have our server come back and drop off the bill instead of actually helping us.I saw that other group was there for a birthday and they received a little dessert and constant attention from the server. They got their drinks refilled, their orders got sent back and come to their table quickly. We were sat right next to the kitchen and could hear everything going on. It was very disappointing to see I didn't get the same level of treatment when I also booked the reservation for my birthday. I don't think i'll be going back here.

Went for westwords taco week. Tacos were fabulousSat at the bar.tender was very unattentiveAll non alcoholic drinks are not on menu..had to ask Tender brought the ice tea and I asked for sweetner..got it then realized I had no silverware so I stirred it with my finger..then looked around and found a station behind me so I got upAnd got myself a napkin and utinsils. The bar is very long and I did not feel like yelling to get service. AnywayI was not offered a refillNor any other service durimg my meal. Also the menu does not list ala cart. Like a side of beans and rice and the tacos do not come with any salsas. I could tell the tortillas were house made and fresh.

Blanco was ok! The food was ok and the mule was delicious. I wouldn't write them off, but with so many other options, I'm not sure they'd be my next first stop. The Great - The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice The Good - The meat of the fajitas was really well seasoned The Bad - The Salsa was very reminiscent of pasta sauce The Ugly - NA We stopped in here for a quick shared dinner. We weren't blown away in a good or bad way. We did enjoy the martini and mule and the meat on the Fajitas was yummy. The chips and salsa were just ok and the tortillas were underwhelming. The server was nice enough though!

I remember when Blanco landed in Denver a few years back. I was blown away by the beautiful build out and their dedication to revitalizing this part of town. Years later, it's grown into one of my favorite chain restaurants because the food, service and cocktails are consistently top notch! Our last visit solidified it being a go-to when in this part of town. 9+Co has plenty of options, albeit many chain-type places. Blanco (and their other concept, Culinary Dropout) have always separated themselves from the rest.*Don't miss the weekday happy hour (3-6pm) and all day on Tuesdays*WARM QUESO ($13) -- Guacamole, Sour Cream, Pico de Gallo. We added Ground Beef ($3) and this elevated the already good queso into G R E A T queso. Chips were salted and perfectly crispy. The queso had the texture we all crave and love, and with the surrounding accoutrements we were devouring it faster than a race car at the Indy 500.TIGER SHRIMP FAJITAS ($23) -- Spicy Garlic Butter, Served with Caramelized Peppers & Onions, Elote, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo & Queso Blanco. Choice of Black or Charro Beans. I can't tell you the last time I ordered fajitas, but I'm really glad I ordered these. The amount of food alone was worth the price of admission. The shrimp were plump and juicy and had a great snap. The tortillas are made in house and you can absolutely taste the difference. Not to mention, my Cadillac Margarita, and even the salsa that came with the chips to begin the meal, were excellent. I literally have zero negatives at Blanco. Service is always spot on, and the vibes (whether indoors or on the patio) are always lively and fun.Impressed with this place since day one. No signs of slowing down. Check 'em out if you want a delicious meal in a trendy setting!

Blanco Cocina + Cantina is a decent spot to grab food and enjoy the neighborhood! The overall decor for this place is really well done. Love the high ceilings and the faux plants! I enjoy that the kitchen is also see thru separated by glass. Our waiter was really nice and very attentive. I loved the free chips and salsa he greeted us with and the fact he refilled it when he saw they were getting low. The table next to us got some really cute looking cocktails, and they really seemed to enjoy them! I got two tacos- mahi mahi and shrimp with rice and beans. My biggest criticism was definitely the rice - I think they coat it in butter which threw the taste off for me. The beans were solid black beans nothing special but good. If I were to go again I would only get Shrimp taco a la carte or maybe the ones my hubby got. My hubby got three tacos a la carte - carnitas and short rib. He said he loved all of them! We both appreciated that the corn tortilla was clearly made in house!

The service was very friendly! The salsa was very tomatoey, was wondering is there was tomato paste in it. I personally wasn't a fan. My sister liked the chips, but agreed with me about the salsa. The carna asada fajitas were very flavorful. The charro beans were flat. Overall a decent place to eat.
