Salmon avocado toast was amazing!! We couldn't pass up a side of buttermilk pancakes also. You've got to go if you're in the area!

We stopped here while driving the lariat Loop for lunch today. It was a great choice, I'm glad nothing worked out while we were in Evergreen. I got the mushroom, onion and cheese hamburger with sweet potato fries. It was the best burger I have had since I have been in Colorado. My friend got the grilled salmon salad and she said it was awesome. It was also huge. I would definitely stop by here again if we are in the area.

We found this restaurant on our way to Evergreen lake. The high rating of the restaurant caught our attention. Upon arrival, it was pretty empty, we got a table right away. It's a nice wooden shack style restaurant, right by a small creek. Such amazing spot to enjoy breakfast/brunch close to nature. They have a bar as well. All staff are very friendly and helpful. We all ordered different items from the breakfast. Everyone loved their dishes. I was impressed with my corned beef egg Benedict. It was a unique dish, as they serve it with piece of hashbrowns underneath. Eggs were cooked so nicely, yolks drip over once you poke them. I got a non-alcoholic drink as well, that was very well made. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience before heading up to the mountains.Special mention of the pancakes they make. They are so fluffy and soft, one of the best ones I have ever had. Must try.

Me and The Hubs had a delightful lunch here about a week ago. We arrived around 2 PM and got a seat on their patio in the shade right away. To begin with, their patio is surprisingly nice. Looking at the restaurant from the road, you really don't expect what's behind and to the side of the restaurant. The patio is fairly close to the road, however there is a wall that blocks your view of the road as well as the sound so you really don't think about how close it is (not that the road is a major thoroughfare or anything anyway). Behind the restaurant and the patio is a lovely rushing creek and wooded area with picnic tables. I'm not sure what the picnic tables are used for - maybe overflow from the patio? No one was sitting there and the tables weren't set like they were waiting for diners. But again, we arrived a bit after the lunch rush. Anyway -After perusing the menu, I decided on the Greek salad with grilled chicken. The Hubs ordered the Bergen Park Banh Mi. And we started with an order of the pimento cheese fritters. Everything was super tasty and very fresh. The fritters were really yummy (note: ask for a plate because they're delicate and fall apart easily. Plus they come with jam on the side.). Our server was super-cute and friendly (unfortunately can't think of her name now) and did a very nice job taking care of us. After eating our meal, she came by and asked if we wanted dessert. She said that they have a pastry chef that makes desserts for them a couple (?) times a week - pies, cheesecakes, cakes, etc. And they're made like individual serving pies, cakes, etc. rather than slices off of a larger pie, cake, etc. However, the lovely orange and pistachio cheesecake we ordered was very easily enough to share. And it was well worth the extra calories! We found it to be a very nice and relaxing lunch experience with great food and service. We'll be back!

Great place for brunch or lunch. Big menu and plenty to choose from. I had the Turkey Melt and it was delicious. The eggs Benedict was tasty for breakfast too. Service is very attentive and the dining area is comfortable inside as well as outside. They have a big selection of desserts right as you walk in, so you can't avoid it!

Had breakfast there and it was the absolute best! You have to be patient because there is waiting time but you can grab a mug with coffee they offer complimentary and wait in the back where there is a creek with some benches. The staffing goes above and beyond on service, the food is super B. Had the chorizo nest and I'm still dreaming about it.

We found this spot after our hike. The food is really good here! The service is quick and friendly. There's coffee and water to enjoy while you wait for your turn. The coffee is not free - we did get charged for it. I think that needs to be better communicated out front. There is a creek side area you can hang out while you're waiting. It does get crowded. There are also some chairs out front. It's a tight location, but also there are enough options for everyone to wait without being bunched up. The Chorizo Nido and pancakes were super delicious! We saw both items being walked to tables and decided that's what we were going to order for ourselves! I 100% would go back for the pancakes alone.

Cute place with large outdoor patio seating. We sat way in the back corner of the restaurant and it was pretty stuffy back there. Generous portions of food and friendly staff. We waited a good 10 minutes at the host check in before anyone greeted us. We went on a Friday at Noon, so peak serving time. I had a traditional breakfast, great eggs and bacon and hash browns. The pancakes were undercooked for me.

I really wanted to give this place more stars. We even waited an hour to just get seating at the bar. But the food just wasn't worth the wait. We did sit at the bar and there's not much space there. We were kinda crunched and forced to look at the other people on the other side of the bar which was sometimes awkward since they seemed to be staring at times. The Bloody Mary that we got was way spicier than normal. The fried avocado was good. My terriyaki salmon was ok but not worth the price. My friends vegan mess was probably the most disappointing. It had absolutely no flavor. The combination of the hr long wait, the seating at the bar and the ok food, it was definitely less than what I expected.

Neat little place overall. Although "checking-in" in an outdoor tent and then sent back to the restaurant was a little odd, perhaps a little annoying? I think mostly because there wasn't a lot of clear guidance on where to go and then the entrance looks like you'd be entering into the kitchen rather than the restaurant itself. So we kept walking. We walked around the building looking for a more obvious entrance only to realize we walked past it. Anyway, on the inside there were different areas of seating that give off different vibes which is unique and fun. Beautiful outdoor views of wild life etc. The service was good but nothing special. On this particular day the initial table we were seated had an exceptionally loud group sitting behind us. It was very frustrating. We asked to be moved to another area far away. They were understanding. We were accommodated promptly and respectfully. The menu had a lot of appealing options it was hard to choose. Everything looked really good. The turkey melt seems like your standard club sandwich however it was 10/10 for me. Meaty, cheesy, deep savory smoky flavor. I wish it had been my meal. I ordered the bison burger. My girlfriend and I just finished a 2.5hr snowy hike that day. I wanted something with a heavy heaping amount of protein to refuel me up. It sounded better on paper to me. It was good but lacked flavor. Not enough green chili, maybe a table spoon of it present. With the bun on top it almost got lost altogether. It was a pretty expensive item but I was willing to take the risk because I was fiercely hungry. It was okay. It just didn't hit the mark for me. The sweet potato fries though 1000/10, I'd order a bucket of those. Would come back when passing through again.
