We had an incredible time at Biryani Point restaurant in Clarkston. They have a terrific combination of Indian, Nepalese, and Himalayan dishes. We had the Samosas, Chicken Momo, Butter Chicken, Ghoast Biryani, Lamb curry, Chicken Makhni and of course several orders of naan.Everything was prepared to order, tasted very fresh, and piping hot. We were worried about the definition of spicy which can vary, so we got everything mild. It was perfectly spiced for me but others would have preferred going to spicy. There are many unique choices in Clarkston and this is one we will return to.Knocking off one star to acknowledge it is a bit dark with some poker machines in the front corner. This did not bother us but may bother others.

The food is excellent, we mostly order to go but stopped in to sit down for a meal. The restaurant has plenty of seating and a very friendly staff. We will absolutely be dining again!

Food is so good here, all you need is one good plate and drink water for the rest of the day. Very homely service and good vibes. Ambiance is very welcoming. Very nice Indian and Nepali cuisines, favorite place for local people around Clarkston and Tucker area. Very spacious enough to organize any special events like kid's birthday party, family get together, etc. Jit and his wife Seema, the owners of this place are very nice, humble and friendly. It's a family own restaurant. The place is been maintained very neat and clean.House highlights are their Chicken 65 and Chicken Biryani. So tender, tasty, flavorful and yummy. Also please do try the Nepali Specialties foods like Chicken Momo made of minced chicken with onion, garlic, ginger and Himalayan spices wrapped in dough and steamed. This is their signature dish. I loved it so much. The spice level are perfect to my taste-buds. I have also tried their lunch buffet on the weekday and it was worth of all the items I have tried. The prices are very reasonable compare to any other restaurants in the area. They have a small area inside the restaurant left to the entrance for game machines and arcades for fun playing. As this place is located in a small shopping strip, the parking is free and shared by other businesses. Can't wait to try their other menu items. They are open 7 days a week Monday thru Sunday 11 AM to 9:30 PM. If you are in the area please do try it and you will not be disappointed.

I truly didn't have Biryani Point on my radar when I was cruising around Clarkston looking for a snack. I literally drove past it, saw it, and immediately turned into the busy strip lot. What I couldn't believe is that there was actually no review or page for Biryani on yelp! With expectations in check, I walked on in with fingers crossed! So interior wise, this place is very spacious, and if you google it, you'll see several parties have been held here. There's a small handful of arcade cabinets to the left, and a series of flat screen televisions hanging from the ceiling. You really have no problems with a large group! After checking the menu, I ordered the following:Chicken 65 ($10.99)Veggie samosas ($3.99)When I initially saw the price, there was a bit of sticker shock. 16 bucks for basically two appetizers was a whoa moment. When I got my food however and looked at the amount of food, I quickly realized that not only was the price fair, but it was a bit of a bargain!, The Chicken 65 was a large mound of bright red chunks of fried chicken goodness. It smelled of peppers and the individual pieces are marinated in ginger, garlic and spices. They do provide a slow burn in terms of spice, but nothing crazy. These were crispy and ridiculously tender, and the flavor of these were spot on for me. I'd happily order these again! The Veggie samosas came in 3 big pieces, that were crispy and the filling of these were peas and potato. These also had a slow burn to them, but less so than the Chicken 65. The flavor of these were not bad, but here's the thing....they were pretty greasy. I had to wrap it in paper towels to remove some of the grease. Located just steps away from the popular Refuge Coffee, Biryani Point is sort of a hidden in plain site restaurant, especially if you're not looking for it. There's two entry points for this lot, and I didn't have any problems getting out of the lot onto Market.Biryani Point is a fantastic little indian/nepalese location that serves up solid, authentic flavors that I think you may like. Give them a shot, will ya?

The food was absolutely delicious!! I love spicy food and their medium is just at the edge of what I can stand. Even the mild food has a little kick. I had saag paneer (spinach with homemade cheese) and jeera aloo bhaji (cumin potatoes) which came with a free serving of Raita. My husband had a lamb biryani which he loved. We took it home and we'll probably make about four meals out of it. I highly recommend.

We had a delivered meal through Grubhub. We had the vegetable samosas, chicken venda-something, spinach and potatoes, and garlic nan. The samosas were with peas and potatoes. They were a delight--large and not greasy. The chicken was spicy and flavorful. The spinach and potatoes were creamy with a nice kick. The garlic nan was warm and very garlicky. The portions were large and the rice was abundant. The delivery was much faster than expected, which was nice because we were hungry!! My family will order again and look forward to visiting this establishment in person.

I want to say that this was a horrible culinary experience starting with the bland chicken that tasted like it was sitting in the refrigerator for days then heated up. The location was sketchy but I never judge a book by its cover when it comes to food, I only worry about cleanliness. In all, I will never eat here again and I feel as if I wasted $18 on food I didn't even eat.

I ordered takeout food from there for the first time last week. Just 2 appetizers -- ginger chicken and samosa chaat. I thought that the menu is kind of pricey at first but the items were delicious and enough for 3 servings! It's in a strip mall in Clarkston and not too noticeable outside but was surprised at how roomy it is inside and how elegant it is. It has a nice bar and apparently some people patronize the bar primarily. The lady who was serving was very nice and friendly. Since the dining area was empty I wondered how they stay in business but then I saw the gambling machines in the corner which were pretty busy.

Decent, but not sure I'd order again. I got the chicken korma which was 4.5/5 stars, flavor was excellent, rara ghosht (2/5), dal makhani (1/5), naan (5/5), raita (2/5), naan (5/5), and extra rice, which was cooked perfectly. The entrees were very salty, especially the raita. The rara ghosht was ok but too salty, dal makhani was not what I expected--not sure if this is a variation I'm just not used to, but it was very watery and bland and of course too salty. I am someone who likes things on the salty side and heavily salt when I cook, but this was too much, with the exception of the korma which was salty but it's also creamy so that helped a lot. The naan was fluffy and tender and large, absolutely delicious. The price point is low so may be worth finding out which other items are hits. I would definitely order the chicken korma again.
