Big Softie

The soft serve I get is usually vanilla but I went for something different today-salted honey, tasted like vanilla to me. First time getting the cheeze it topping, I was told it was like a brittle... only thing is I wish it was more cheesy :( just taste like toffee to me, didn't really get any of the cheesy flavors of the cheeze it. I also picked the cornflakes, which I will say is my favorite topping by far! This is perfect blend of sweet and salty. The waffle cones are always nicely baked, kudos to the shop. Pretty laid back and chill place to get some soft serve. Always playing some cool tunes; now- get there during a good time or else there will be a line out of the door! They have a back patio area , but that gets pretty full during their rush times, so be mindful when you buy from here. I really wish they look into takeout containers one day I would love to take my soft serve home and enjoy there since the back area can be a sensory overload for me. I do recommend this shop to any soft serve enthusiast.

Sometimes you just really want a soft serve - when that happens this is the place!! I always get a vanilla with strawberry dip, but I've heard the chocolate is also good. There are a ton of additional toppings, my favorites are the cornflake strudel and the peanut crunch but i don't think you can go wrong. There is often a long line on the weekends but it goes pretty quickly. The staff is friendly and will happily answer questions. There are vegan options of the ice cream and most of the toppings are vegan so bring any dairy free folks with ya to try it out!

The weather was nice, the friends were out for a stroll after a morning of volunteering, what better reasons to stop into Big Softie for a cool treat! LoL. As I walked in my senses were attacked by fresh smells of sweet cream and fresh waffle cones. To say I was instantly excited would be an understatement. I was overjoyed by the instant memories of childhood and the local ice cream parlor. The nostalgia was free with my order. Ha!Walking up to the cashier to order, the young lady was very nice and greeted me with a smile. As I was the last of the group to order I knew what I wanted. I partook in a small vanilla on a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles (jimmies where I'm from). I placed my order, provided my name, and stood to the side. Once my order was ready, my name was called and my excitement started all over again. The ice cream was perfectly sculpted. It looked as if every sprinkle was perfectly placed and the ice cream to cone ratio was perfecttttttttttttttttttt. I'm one who bites the top of the swirl off first and upon FIRST BITE... I was planning my next visit back. LoL. Fresh Ice CreamFresh ConeSuper Fresh Sprinkles And best of all, the cream to sugar ratio was algebraically perfect. It's official. I'll be back in two weeks for my next fix. Dare I say, Big Softie is now in my Top 5 for Ice Cream, and #1 for Soft Serve. Do yourself a favor and get you some.

Cute quant ice cream shop connected to a bakery with seating in the back. I'm not a huge soft serve fan but this ice cream impressed me! It didn't melt fast and actually held it's shape while eating it. Matcha flavor was really good and also loved the crunchy cornflakes topping. It can get packed in here with a line out the door but everyone is patient and nice!

This is my 2nd review but these photos are from 2 separate times LOL. Big softie has very quickly become my favorite ice cream spot in the inner city. super yummy, great quality, generous portions! I do wish they had 1 size smaller than the petite. I went Monday & I plan on going back this weekend. I won't be stopped!!!! Everyone who works there is a sweetie pie & the outdoor seating is so helpful! Love the small shop vibe.

Very cute soft serve spot! A very small shop but they have some seats in the back. We got the matcha soft serve with strawberry crumble and a peach sorbet with sprinkles. The peach was sooo good! The flavor was strong and very refreshing, I also really enjoyed the sprinkles. They really do pack the toppings on there. The matcha was okay, I thought the matcha flavor was not as strong and it kind of tasted more like a strong milky flavor in my opinion. Not sure what milk, either almond or oat. I did however, enjoy the strawberry crumble. Overall, will be back and can't wait to try other flavors.

I found this cute little ice cream shop on TikTok. The area to order is very small and they were pretty busy but the line moved very quick. I got the vanilla ice cream on a cake cone, a strawberry hard shell, with a cornflake topping. My boyfriend got chocolate soft serve on a waffle cone. We enjoyed our little date out.

Big Softie's ice cream is soooooo good and creamy!!! The waffle cones are fresh as well. When you bite into them, they melt in your mouth just like the ice cream. My brother and I have come three times since our first time going. So we're kinda regulars now lol. The service is amazing as well!!!

Expensive but I find all ice cream shops are now. Wasn't really worth get the Oreos crumbs. Street parking can be a little difficult but there is a huge free lot you can park in for the area - which is nice as lot of Atlanta charges everywhere! Nice little area. Cute store. The bakery looked good next door.

Giving 1 star for many reasons including because they say on the website that all toppings are made in house but I watched them pour them out of a food supply store bag.. I've had similar, if not better, soft serve at a Golden Corral buffet, but here it cost $19 for just two cones - one had no toppings and one had hard shell and 1 topping. The line was out the door, but that's likely due to the store's tiny size and limited soft serve machines, with only one person handling orders one at a time.I was disappointed by the limited flavor options and the overall quality of the soft serve. As mentioned above , the toppings were also underwhelming--I saw them pour some toppings straight from a food supply store bag. For such a pricey ice cream, I expected everything to be made in-house, as their website claims: 'Toppings and waffle cones are all made in-house.'Finally, customer service is non existent. The staff asked everyone to leave abruptly so that they could clean up and prepare for closing. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, especially considering the cost.
