The food is really good, and made to order. I had the fried chicken plate with Mac and Cheese and green beans. They didn't disappoint. The owner was really nice. They also have a bar. I had two black labels on the rocks, and I got them at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back. I mentioned this as well in my Google review; but I didn't mention that they have a stage, and I was told they have live music. When I went, it was during lunch; but I'll definitely be back to check out the live music.

The food was amazing and the owner made me want to come back. The ambiance was nice, I was there on a Sunday afternoon not much going on but really relaxing. The Coldwater Cornbread was absolutely delicious. I wasn't a fan of the baked chicken but the fried was on point! The lemon cake was good.

I ordered the fried chicken wings and they were fried to crispy perfection. I'm sorry I didn't give this place a chance earlier. I have ordered delivery and have eaten in as well, the fried chicken was delish on both occasions. This spot is very roomy and nicely furnished, etc. If you haven't guessed it by my comments, this place is definitely on my regular rotation list. I want to try other items, but it'll be very difficult to not get that yummy fried chicken!

My family and I always pass this place by when driving and it's always empty. We went on a weekend for dinner. The place was empty, like just my crew of 4 and 2 other individuals. The serving line of food didn't appear fresh and wasn't appealing visually, which I attribute to the food sitting out with no lids. The staff (2people) were nice. I ended up ordering Al something cook to ordered. The fried fish and burgers were decent and the wings I was told were a little salty. I will say they had quite a bit of call-on orders. I'm considering going back on a day I can get to the serving line once they open.

I came here tonight 2/29/24 with my 2 daughters for Snow production poetry & wine event. Shot out to Snow, Red Lion & all the other wonderful poets....Now to why I'm leaving this review & giving it a 1 star. i Ordered the meatloaf dinner. It was cold & bland. No flavor at all. Since i had paid $21 & had not eaten I asked if I could just exchange my meal for the catfish meal. The owner comes over & asks what was the problem & when I told him I wanted to exchange my food he asked why. I told him it wasn't seasoned the way I expected & it was cold & that I didbt want a refund just to exchange it for the fish. The owner proceeded to tell me that I didn't even try the food & how he was use to"people like me". & how he sales out of his food all the time. I told him I understand that others may enjiy the meatloaf but it wasn't for me. He then tell me yeah well if you don't like the meatloaf you're not going to like the fish either. He refused to let the cashier put in my order for the fish. So now here I sit after working all day & not eating because I was anticipating to eat good when I got there to not having anything to eat throughout the show. There were more back & forth but this review is long enough so I'll wrap it up. I did get my refund back as well. If I ever come back it will be strictly for the poetry because the food was not good at all to me!

Flavor lacking!!! I bought smothered pork chops, mac n cheese and cabbage. I also bought a lemon cake. The lemon cake wasn't lemony at all!! Didn't eat it! The pork chops are smothered in fat!! I had to add salt which I never do. Who messes up cornbread?!? It tasted like cornmeal and water!!! I won't return. Waste of money!

The food is amazing. We didn't take any photos. The hubs had baked chicken w/ rice, Mac and cheese, greens, yams, and cornbread. I ordered smothered pork chops with rice, green beans, corn, black-eyed peas, and cornbread. I asked for a to-go container, but when the owner brought it out... my plate was empty with a bone. Everything was delicious. Now, this cake... this is so moist and chocolaty. It's definitely from scratch, and so is the icing. This didn't miss, and we're coming back. Oh... and before I left, the owner brought the pound cake. Glory to God! Y'all, support this BOB!

I recently moved in to the area after seeing so many bad reviews I decided to stop in and try it for myself. Clerk was very kind and helpful. I am a 90 year old Disabled veteran of the Air Force Korean war conflict. Because she noticed my walking cane she brought me a menu and helped me figure out my order. She also came and got my debit card and rang up my order. I only waited the normal time required to cook one of the finest catfish plates I have seen anywhere. Bronze and perfectly cooked along with great french fries. She then brought my order to my table. A local patron saw me struggling and took my order to my car for me. So for those who complained about wait times, etc I suggest you call ahead and make sure there is not a long waiting line. It was a pleasant experience.
