No question, if you are in New Ulm - you need to make a stop here. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine? Stop. Here. The service was excellent (Lewis the manager was super accommodating, and our server was a sweetheart and on top of it!) and the food was DELICIOUS!! Again, stop here if you are in the area. It's a hidden gem.Edit to add: got to experience the first breakfast service at Bel Tavolo and it was delicious. I could have made a meal out of the hash. And the caramel iced coffee was a perfect pairing.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant was super cute. We enjoyed everything! We had the Mozzarella baked meatballs and pepperoni pizza. This thing was LOADED with pepperoni. The sweet tea was on point. We spent some time chatting with the owner, he was really nice. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will 100% be going back

A hidden gem, in New Ulm! What a surprise to find such a clean, cute & welcoming Caffe on the way to somewhere else. (But it's in a neighborhood, not main street/109) I ordered the Insalata Fragole, a pizza & cannoli to-go. I was very pleased with the freshness & size of the salad & the warm focaccia bread. The Shrimp Bianca Verde pizza was okay... that's all I'll say about that. And the cannoli was okay as well, but I really didn't taste ricotta, just whipped cream.Although I did not sit down at the caffe, while I waited for my meal to be prepared the young lady behind the counter/bar & the owner Lewis were very friendly & conversational. Their customer service, the delightful decor, outdoor patio deck & menu will definitely bring me back! I look forward to eventually trying everything on the menu! So maybe next time: a pasta dish, panini, a locally baked dessert, maybe glass of wine & so much more!

Hidden gem!! Closest place I've found coast to coast that the pizza tastes like it's right from a place in Italy. Appetizers were great!! The meatballs were great too!

Wow! I am so glad we gave this a try. The food is delicious!! I wanted to bring the marinara sauce home with me. Very authentic and So good! Everything is super fresh and made in-house. The owners are locals who saw a need for casual dining option with upscale food. Another great surprise was the fact that it's a coffee bar as well. I had a perfectly made espresso before I hit the road. Great craft beer and wine as well. Do yourself a favor and go!

I found this gem of a restaurant in New Ulm Texas that we happened to see and stopped in. Upon entering you are greeted with a very inviting space that makes you want to just pull up a chair and stay awhile. Our waitress greeted us with a big smile and made you feel right at home. The menu is a mix of appetizers, salads, paninis, subs, and pizzas. All the items on the menu sounded amazing which made the choice that much harder. Appetizer:Cheesy Garlic Bread. 9/10$6.99It doesn't get much better than a warm slice of cheesy garlic bread, served with a savory marinara sauce for dipping. The bread itself is oh so yummy but that marinara sauce is to die for. I could of just eaten this and would of left happy Entrees:Meatball. 9/10$12.99A traditional Italian : American sandwich with meatballs and marinara sauce on a toasted bun with melted cheese, is a fam favorite. This meatball sub was amazing, simple yet full of flavor. The bread was crispy and the meatballs melted in your mouth. The cheese was very creamy and complimented that heavenly marinara sauce exceptionally well. Had the pasta salad as my side and it is really good. It is made with perfectly cooked Cavatappi pasta, pepperoni, cucumber, bell peppers, and tomatoes with a yummy crdressing. Garlic Chicken Parm. 9/10$13.99Grilled chicken, marinara sauce, melted mozzarella, pimentos and sweet basil pesto, served a on buttery garlic hoagie roll. The flavors are off the chart, the pesto along with the marinara are killer and will keep you coming back for more. Desserts: Tiramisu. 7/10$6.99An elegant and rich layered Italian dessert made with delicate ladyfinger cookies, espresso or instant espresso, mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, Marsala wine, rum and cocoa powder. This one is your basic tiramisu but don't get me wrong it was really good and hit the sweet spot for sure. This small town pizzeria has some most excellent food and service around. This is a must try if you are in or close to New Ulm Texas. They also have a boutique that sells a host of items.

I don't know who is dumb enough to get a burger in an Italian restaurant. Yes, it's small, and a hole in the wall, but portions are good, and actually taste homemade. The prices are reasonable, the service very good, and the servers attitudes were great. We did not leave dissatisfied, but quite happy, and full. We are the tiramisu after we got home.

Horrible people. They only think of the locals. They don't care about out of towners. My husband picked up an item and put it back, then out his glasses in his shirt pocket. He was accused of stealing!! And the lady wouldn't search him as I advised her to. When I complained to owner she wasn't even compassionate towards me and sided with the lady. She did tell me she viewed the camera footage and said my husband did NOT steal but she never apologized. We'll NEVER go back.
