I went here twice yesterday! We went for Sunday brunch with a large group, walked up Yale to the Farmer's Market and returned with a much smaller group for drinks. We ordered halo-halo, too. It was really good!Sherree was our server both times and had great energy even though she had to break the news that some of the cocktails on the menu weren't available after some ingredients ran out. Maybe it was the DJ on Sunday afternoon, who definitely contributed to the ambiance. We had tots and lumpia for breakfast appetizers? There was a breakfast combo that several people ordered. Nobody was able to finish all the food - that could be a good or bad thing, I'll let you decide. Kare-kare, tuna sisig and longsilog all received compliments. The dish that was devoured was the pancit. This place is dog friendly, too!Would love to come back for karaoke and try more of their food.

I'm glad that I tried Filipino food again.I had been trying 3 restaurants before and didn't like it all. But finally I found the one that I like.Food was better than I expected. That crispy pork was so good. It's similar to the Vietnamese crispy pork .Staff was also good. They have a cute patio outside for warm weather.

BMP is a great place to hang out, especially for groups! I've done karaoke here a couple of times and have had a lot of fun. They have two karaoke rooms. I've only been in the larger one. I would estimate that it can accommodate about 10-15 people comfortably. They have an extensive song catalog which you can access via QR code. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The dining area is a moderate size and they have a nice patio out front. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. They have reverse happy hour on Fridays after 9 pm.Drinks: Some of the cocktails that I've tried are the GQCucumber, the Red Panda, and the Sunset in Sulu. They also have mimosa and beer towers. On one visit, the server brought us a water tower which was so convenient for our large group.Food: The one dish that I've tried a few times and have consistently enjoyed is the Veggie Lumpia. The Brussels were too sweet and had way too much sauce. The Cucumber Salad is okay. It's tart and vinegar forward. It's not a salad, it's more like marinated sliced cucumbers. The Chickcharons aren't bad, but they are very greasy. Some pieces were a little too chewy for my preference. BMP shares a private lot with a few other businesses. There's a decent amount of parking and I've never had trouble getting a spot. There's also some street spots on 5th as well as Yale right in front of the shopping complex. BMP is a cool place with a cool vibe. I'm looking forward to coming back (and maybe trying an actual entrée).

My experience at Be More Pacific was a solid 3.5/5. The parking is limited, but it's not the worst I've seen. My group ate on a rainy day, so I don't know if it would be more difficult to park if the weather was nicer. I liked the vibe of the restaurant. It was really clean inside, and the playlist consisted of covers of popular songs with an island/PI twist. The waitstaff was also nice and quick to attend to us. The food was pretty hit or miss: - Baby Repolyo: Good - Brussels sprouts always hit. - Longganisa Tots: Good - These were nice and go well with the banana ketchup. The banana ketchup was a pleasant surprise. It's what I feel the spicy ketchup at fast food restaurants should taste like. - Lechon Kawali: The pork was AMAZING - the best I've had in a really hot minute. The pork was fatty and juicy, and the crust on the outside was immaculately crunchy. The sauce wasn't my cup of tea, but it was passable. - Crispy Spam Musubi: Unfortunately, this was a miss for me. The layers of rice were WAY too thick. I could not even taste the spam through all the rice. - Filipino BBQ: Really good! Really solid ribs - you can't go wrong. - Pinoy Colada: A nice take on a pina colada, and I would recommend it. - Morejito: Very lemony, but still a pleasant sweetness to it. It's a good drink. - Mango A Go Go: Not my cup of tea. I don't know how to explain it, but maybe it's a bit tart and I have more of a sweet tooth when it comes to alcoholic beverages?- Lumpiang Sariwa: The table's favorite ulam this visit. The sauce and the shrimp went well together. - Adobo Chicken: Honestly, this was good too, but it wasn't too different from Adobo Chicken anywhere else. On the whole, I was satisfied with my experience here. For the portions, I think the price we paid was a little high - even considering happy hour pricing. I would, however, return to try more menu items!

First time at this place and we'll probably come back to try a couple more things on the menu. They have some large outdoor seating area that you walk past to get to the front door where you're greeted by a host who will take you to your table. 2 of us shared a couple of small plates. We tried the spam musubi, pork belly (lechon kawali), Shanghai dynamite lumpia, and cucumber salad. The musubi is fried and has a crispy outer layer with a tangy sauce. It's a unique take on musubi and although it wasn't my favorite dish, I'd order it again. The lumpia was delicious!! Crispy outer layer with moist hot insides. The Shanghai lumpia is spicy which I love, but beware. The come with a sweet dipping sauce. The cucumber we salad is okay.Lastly, the Lechon Kawali, was amazing. Super moist and tender on the inside with a crispy outer edge. It's super tasty so we had to order seconds! Otherwise, the cocktails were pretty good. And they have their own banana ketchup, which is like a hybrid of sriracha and regular ketchup. Has a sweet and spicy vibe to it. Overall the vibe and service was okay. They play some tropical/reggae covers of typical music and it's clean inside. The presentation of the food is good. The service this go round left more to be desired, they forgot about us after the initially seated us and we had to flag someone down but no biggie, we'll be back.

Overall a cute bar/restaurant and a great place for any meal! Some dishes seem pricey for what you get, but I liked the flavors, I liked the vibes, and I'd love to come back for the mimosa towers for brunch or karaoke with friends. They have daily food/drink specials, on Sundays they have brunch along with their main menu and a live DJ in the afternoon, and they have HH specials on the weekdaysFoodSisig was very oily and covered in mayonnaise. I was worried that my mom would not like it at first, but she thought it was good. However, near the end of our meal, she said there was too much grease for her. While flavorful, it was indeed extremely greasy and just a lot of mayo. The garlic rice definitely helped I've never had lumpiang sariwa before (suggested by our waitress) and was pleasantly surprised. I liked that it had a lot of veggies and the sauce was really good. There was also a surprisingly good amount of shrimp in it.The Shanghai dynamite lumpia was good, but saying it's 6pcs is very misleading! It was obviously 6 half pieces! Finally, the ube pandan pancakes were good and the coconut-y caramel sauce was to die for. However it was not worth $9 to me (would expect more toppings or something).Service was good. They have kind of their own parking area on the side as well as the shared parking with the other stores on the strip. They have an open concept so that they open up the wall when there's nice weather. You can sit outside on the patio, inside at the bar but still enjoy the weather if it's open, or inside seating.

Filipino food is a new and unique experience for me. The closest thing I've ever had is jollibee, and this place holds true to more unique foods in the Phillip ones than that. The Kare Kate was described to us as a more unique dish that is distinct from the traditional westernized pallete. My friend had it and enjoyed it, except for the shrimp paste (which is on the side) because it was too new of a flavor profile for him. The wings and the lumpia were delicious and easy for anyone to like. Even the banana ketchup was surprisingly familiar and delicious. The service was great, the staff is kind and willing to educate on the selections. The ambiance is tropical and for added fun you can rent out a karaoke roomWhich is very popular in Filipino culture!

Pretty cool hip hangout it looked like for drinks and the bar. I stopped to grab food to go. The milk fish is very thin, kind of chewy, ok flavor. The rice was okay also a little on the gummy side and I'm not fond of over easy egg but I forgot to mention that to them. The staff was pleasant and again to eat here is like being in tropical paradise at the bar but I'm not sure if I'll try another dish. I wasn't blow. Away. There was enough fish it was so thin to feed a 10 year old but a nice portion of rice for $17. I'd do dish society over this one.

Let me try and get specific, ha.I came here for a bday party for 15 + on a Saturday night. We were in the karaoke room. But I also spent a little time at the bar as well. It was actually a pretty tight fit for our group. I wonder if they have larger rooms?Anyway, it was my first time Karoking, at an actual restaurant, and not a karoke designated spot or club. I have some thoughts about the layout, but I will focus on my experience.Service - Kevin was our server and host for the night. He came with good energy and a positive attitude. We were a rowdy bunch. He did his level best to keep our 4 to 5 different billing groups straight. There are no individual bills in the party room. Food - they had HRW 23 menu available, but I got too distracted with the singing to figure out what to order. So I ordered small. Lumpia Shangia was good, but portions were not ideal. I had a couple of bites of the chickcharon that wasn't bad.Drinks - I got the BMP Rita to start it was fair. Next, I got the Sunset in Sulu, and it was also not bad. Last, I got Thai shots for the bday boy and friends. It was just enough sweet to balance the liquor. I enjoyed it. Then the bosses of the place #Blessed us with a bottle of Champagne, so sweet! Cheers to us!Karaoke Room- had a large collection of songs, including explicit lyrics/language. Easy process to sign up for songs and keep the party engaged, with QR code and playlist online. The room felt too tight, but maybe our group size was over capacity? They placed 2 large tables and a plastic overlay to connect the 2 tables to make 1 long table. With chairs with zero space in between them surrounding the tables. Parking - they have a lot, not super big, but enough. Thanks for being so good to us that night, BMP!
