Bass Lake Draft House

We went on a Tuesday for trivia and it was decently busy. Service was very slow but we were enjoying our beer and playing trivia so it didn't bother me too much - but would've been different on a regular night. Portions were good and prices are fair. Lots of options on the menu and great beer on tap. Would try again but not dying to go back!

Visited here for the first time in a bit and was very disappointed. Main issue was the tater tots that came as a side with my sandwich. They literally left an oil slick on my plate, as if the fry cook didn't let them drain before putting them on the plate. There was also some event at the bar (we were in the dining room) with the loudspeaker up way too loud. There are many other choices out there, we won't be back again.

This has become our new go-to spot. Food is good, beer selection good. Servers all good, but need to send a shout out to JR. He is a young kid who really gets it. A week or so ago I watched he give special attention to a recent widower and he has always provided great service to us. Last night, my wife's burger was a little undercooked and with trivia night our server was busy, JR took the food to the kitchen and got it fixed. Turned a so-so experience into a winner. I wish they would bring back Sunday Brunch. The best. We will keep coming.

The menu was very large for a bar pub. I walked in and was immediately drawn to the lack of sports on one TV. They had Fox "News" on. I really wanted to walk out but figured I would sit where ai couldn't see it. I had checked out the menu and was looking forward to supporting a local restaurant for lunch as I often try to. I can not for the life of me know why people watch propaganda and for a restaurant to be contributing to lack of truth is beyond me. I'd like to go to a restaurant and not have bad politics hitting me in the face.With that said, my hamburger was not good. It was so wet the bun was all soggy. The sweet potato fries were awesome. My husband had Chili with grilled cheese. He wasn't fond of either. There was too much corn in the Chili and Grilled Cheese was just average.I told management about my uncomfortablenesses with the TV. I did expect it to be changed. When we left, it was still on. This shows me that they are not responsive to customers and the reason for 2 stars. I would have given them 3 or 4 if not for the TV. I also would have sent back my burger or at least told them about it. I didn't bother figuring they didn't care anyway.

Avoid the trivia nights if you like quiet, but otherwise a great place to grab dinner. They even have gf options

Went for lunch. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich but ordered a pretzel bun instead of a regular bun. Super Delicious but the bun which was an up charge was not the greatest pretzel bun I've ever had. House made chips were okay, several were under cooked. Would I go back, yes, but not my first choice of restaurants.

Waitress was great but waited almost an hour for this chicken taco thing that was supposed to be loaded with cheee and pico. Literally dried out chunks of chicken with a teaspoon of toppings . What a waste of my hard earned money!

Got there and a lady with her family was complaining about having hair in her food in the parking lot. Ignored it and walked in and was seated. Place was very vacant for a Saturday evening. Sat there for about 10 min and no server around. I walked back out to the parking lot to grab a jacket for the wife and looked like the family was being told to leave by the staff there. I came back in and sat there for an additional 15 min and still no service. My wife and I got up and left. The vacant Saturday evening should have been a red flag to begin with. Don't know about the food because we never had a chance to order.

Food was okay but everything was an up charge from salad dressing to onion straws. Service was terrible. Employees looked unprofessional and had no knowledge of menu or even what a light beer was. During our dinner, two families walked out and another complained about a hair in the food and were told to leave. Once they left the owner came out to the parking lot g lot to yell at them. It was an awful experience. We asked the owner about why all the up charges and he said food was expensive. Did not like our feedback. Bar rescue candidate for sure.
