Barefoot's Country Store

Locals like this place. We have enjoyed steak dinners offered on the weekends so opted to try breakfast this time since our other local restaurant, the four oaks restaurant doesn't serve breakfast anymore during the week. Shame. We need another restaurant in the area that offers breakfast! Anyway, my guy ordered his usual: link sausage, two scrambled eggs, biscuits and grits and it was okay. The sausage had an interesting flavor which is not to his liking, almost like it wasn't real fillers.I had the tenderloin and gravy which is a larger portion than the one you get at the four oaks restaurant. They're home fries were hot and fresh.We may just stick to their dinner specials, though.

Absolutly LOVE this Place ... Food is great and the people are always friendly and helpful! Gives you that hometown feel

Pretty darn good gas station restaurant food. Bit on the fried lard grease side though, but fat=flavor I guess

We used to order food from here 3 or 4 times a week. We paid last night for food that was not included. That is fine, mistakes happen. The problem started when they refused to make it right. We ordered there again tonight and the exact same thing happened. I heard them in the background talking about us, and I told Jacob(a very nice man), that if they want our business they need to call and make it right. No call back, so i guess they don't care. Unbelievably uncalled for and unprofessional.

Great food! Just the attitude of the older lady that owns the place sucks! I'm not going off of one visit it sucked every time I went in the store. So last week was it for this trucker!

Excellent Southern Cooked Food! Barefoot's Country store is a restaurant/convenience store located on 701 Hwy S in Four Oaks. Barefoot's also sell gas, livestock feed, lottery, and convenience store products. The store is open 7 days a week and the restaurant is open Monday-Saturday. Barefoot's offers a full service catering as well. Come stop in, you'll be glad you did!

Great place for all needs! Food is delicious (my favorite is the Club sandwich), Gas is usually cheap, and etc. is fairly priced. If you're going down 701 and need a place to stop for a quick fuel up or snack this is the place.

Good Food! Hamburger steak super yum. Fried Squash wonderful. Not fancy. Reasonably priced.
