Food: Great. All natural. Bottle of fish sauce on the table so you can pour as much as you want. Got the banh cuon dac bietService: 5/5 - prompt, delivery of food was quick. Ambiance: Quiet, clean. There is also a separate section for you to buy to-go snacks and food. Definitely will come here again. Great for breakfast/lunch.

Okay guys, don't be sleeping on this place just because it's only rated 3 stars. I promise this place is well worth it and definitely AMAZING. Saw a fellow reviewer come here and rave on about this place on TikTok for their banh cuon (believe her name is Christina Nguyen) and we had to go and try it for ourselves. I also saw that they had banh khot on their menu & naturally, as an avid lover of banh xeo, I was needing to try it out.So my boyfriend and I decided to head out here and see what it was all about. Now, this place is in Alief and aside from the location being in a sort of sketch area, it's really great food and relatively cheap - you get a lot of bang for your buck here! We came early because we didn't know if there was going to be a wait since it was a Saturday and during lunch rush, but we made it at a good time before it started getting busier. It was already pretty busy when we got there, but got busier as we were enjoying our meal.We were seated almost immediately and we ordered right away (because we are that sort of couple that looks at menus beforehand and wants to know ahead of time what we plan on ordering). So we ordered the banh cuon, banh uot, banh khot, and the bo ne. The banh cuon and banh uot came out first and relatively fast too. Both dishes were similar except one was filled rice noodles. Let me tell you, they were both insanely delicious and had the perfect chewy texture for rice noodles. I'm always a harsh critic for the fish sauce too just because my boyfriend's mom makes the best fish sauce in my humble opinion, but their fish sauce was light and pretty good. My boyfriend just poured that sauce all over the rice noodles and mixed the veggies with it and bam, slam - pure deliciousness. It was absolutely chef's kiss! The bo ne then came out next and they use filet mignon y'all. Like, who are they? The steak SLAPPED and the bread that came with it, woweeee! Nice and warm, freshly baked, crisp outside, and soft inside... it was just a melody of flavors once you assembled it all on a piece of bread. Everything about this dish was A1 and just spectacular! Probably the only thing I would say about it would be that the egg was unfortunately not runny, but other than that it was an overall great dish! Now, onto the banh khot - they forgot the banh khot. As we were finishing up our other dishes, we were starting to slow down and get full, but I was still patiently waiting for the banh khot because that was ultimately what I really wanted to try here. After waiting awhile, I realized that they probably forgot that we ordered it, so my boyfriend gently reminded them and maybe a few minutes later, we got our cute dish of banh khot. By the time we received it though, we were both already pretty full. So I feel like I didn't get to enjoy it fully as I had anticipated, but nonetheless it was still really good & it didn't disappoint. The outer edges were light and crisp, it was savory, and just eating it with the lettuce and fish sauce just elevated the flavor to a fresh taste which I really enjoyed.Overall, I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that truly enjoys some good Vietnamese food. This is it. I want to come back to try their soups next like their bun bo hue and mien ga since it is finally starting to get cooler around here in Houston. 10/10 would recommend!

They serve large portions here! Everything was mostly good. But like the spring rolls were ok, and the canh bun was bland... they have some snacks you can buy inside and some other grocery stuff.

One of my favorite places for Bánh Cuốn in Houston. I'm honestly pretty picky. They have delicious appetizers including egg rolls. Though I've only have their Bánh Cuốn, I'm sure their other dishes are good too.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is a hidden gem. Medium sized restaurant but fast service. I went during lunch on a Saturday and was seated immediately. I ordered the following it arrived faster than expected. You get an entire jar of sauce. The herbs are extremely fresh. Food was light but filling at the same time. Highly recommend.

Great food! I've only had take out from here but everything that we've had has been reasonably priced and delicious. The items here that we really enjoy are the banh cuon thit nuoung with grilled pork and blanched bean sprouts. Super flavorful and the meat portions are very generous. I love the cha ca Thang Long here as well, which comes with a heaping portion of grilled catfish over a bed of onions and dill. The banh khot are a fun appetizer to split with friends!Service is very to the point and not that friendly, but kind of what you typically expect for a more hole in the wall place!

My family of 5 came into this place to try their specialty, banh cuon. We ordered 2 special orders. Not sure what was up with today but the fried items did not come out crunchy and hot. My bun Bo hue was alright, nothing good or bad to say. The 2 ladies working today did not pay attention to our table and when we needed something, they were busy on their phones in the back while we were waving. No smiles or anything. We ordered something to-go and they made a mistake and brought it out as a dine-in dish. The food was very mid for an authentic viet place. Service was terrible but we still had to tip 18% since it's a bigger party. It was dead inside anyways which should've been our first sign. I understand the "chill" work environment as I'm also Vietnamese myself, but the work ethic was terrible and the food wasn't good enough for me to come back. I'm disappointed!

Setting: very nice, clean, restroom cleanFood: Must try the bun Rieu! With the banh cuon and banh uot, it's all about the fish sauce. The fish sauce was a little on the sweeter side but overall it was fresh and good! Highly recommend! Banh beo was very interesting; had croutons on it which was new to me but overall recommend it. Service: the waitress was honest and nice about food suggestions! Highly appreciate it. Overall: highly recommended!

Thank You So Much for a wonderful food experience! My children loved everything that they ordered! They were amazed with the size of the bánh xèo which came to biggest bánh xèo they've ever seen especially how crispy and fresh they were! The owner was super nice. She spoke with me like we knew each other for a long time especially I'm a vegetarian also

This will be a one visit sort of deal, just not impressive enough to come back. For each plate that we had, there is definitely a better speciality place in Bellaire to go to for it. Let's start with their name sake, we ordered all 3 of their banh cuon plates: the original, the bbq pork, and the special plate which has all 3 plus fermented pork and fried sweet potatoes. Super typical, nothing really stands out. The shrimp one is a skip - they used the tiniest shrimps, the quality is a maybe touch better than the dried shrimps. All the dishes we had that required nuoc mam (fish sauce) were sadly unimpressive bc the sauce itself is too salty. The noodle soups were truly just to check box that they serve it, nothing worth mentioning. The bun mam was the saltiest broth we've ever had; the huu tieu had the tiniest amount of noodles, you only see broth in the picture; and the bun canh was lack luster in taste. I took a star off for the service alone. There were many employees there but apparently only 1 waitress who took our order and never to make eye contact again. Ordered the huu tieu without any veggies - repeated it - pointed to the kids to emphasize it, yet bowl came out with all the greens in it (pictured). We ordered the banh cuon for the table to try as appetizers and she didn't give us plates for it so had to grab the to go containers and made our own (pictured). Water carafe was a bit bigger than the nuoc mam carafe and for a table of 4 adults and 3 littles, and with her absence, we never had a refill (pictured). Again, not on my list to return.
