The food quality is excellent and the service was outstanding. The Ambiance reminds me of a combination of New Orleans and South Louisiana. We are repeat customers of Babin's in The Woodlands, TX. On this occasion, we ordered takeout for 3: Two crawfish etouffee dinners and a 1/2 & 1/2 Popcorn Shrimp & fried crawfish po boy. The po boy bread served at Babin's tastes like authentic New Orleans French bread although it is delivered fresh by a bakery in Houston. The helping of crawfish etouffee is generous and cooked with a light brown roux & creamy gravy as you find in Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana. Be sure to check your takeout orders because some things may be left out occasionally. As was the case this time, I called and spoke with "Caney" who made it right for the next time we go.

Always, always, always fantastic service and food when I visit Babin's Seafood. Our server was Mike today and he was more than attentive to our needs during our early lunch. Restaurant was not too noisy and not very busy so made for a great atmosphere to enjoy our meal. And of course we will definitely be back.

Walking into the restaurant is very reminiscent of walking into restaurants in the French Quarter. Our waitress was very nice, offered suggestions and recommendations and was attentive. Everything on the seafood platter sounded so good that I couldn't resist ordering it. My eyes were much bigger than my stomach and my leftovers ended up lasting two more days. The food was great in the restaurant as well as reheated and the fried shrimp was surprisingly the best thing on the plate. I didn't expect something so simple to be so good. I wish that I had ordered the bread pudding to go but I'll definitely go back to try it next time I'm in town.

This was just ok for us. Server struggled to tell us beer selections, and forgot some of our items. Beignets had way too much caramel and were very dense. Made me miss the light versions made in NOLA. Redfish Ponchartrain had way too many pin bones and the crab was all cartilage. Awful. For $29 it was also a very small portion. Disappointing.

This is one of my fave lunch spots! The staff is super friendly, and the food is so flavorful. I love the their pasta dishes and drinks. A lot of it is spicy, so if you are not a fan of the heat like I am, be mindful. If you want to stay away from spicy food, I suggest ordering one of their fried seafood platters. They are seasoned well without the pepper. Definitely worth trying for lunch or a date night. Main Event Is right next door to this location, so it's a great place to grab a meal before going there if you want something other than what they serve. You won't be disappointed
