Gordan Ramsay would have a field day here. The idea that you can get Vietnamese, Mongolian, and sushi all in one spot is mindblowing. I cannot speak for the sushi and Mongolian cuisine aspect of my experience but I came in here with the full intention to try solid Vietnamese food.Although the service was friendly, the atmosphere is all but a familiar feeling. With its damp and gloomy ambiance, I definitely felt like my meal should be quickly eaten. My pho and original banh mi came out rather quickly, which I still cannot surmise if that is a good thing or not at most places. The pho broth was lacking in any beefy flavor. Whether they took hours out of the day to concoct the broth or if it is chicken stock, I will never know. The banh mi tasted average but came with a heftier price tag. I would definitely stick to a pho specific restaurant if I am eating in Houston, a city known for fantastic pho.

We just visited here for the first time and agreed that it moves right onto our list of Best Restaurants North of the Grand Parkway. Anyone living in The Woodlands, Shenandoah, Spring, Conroe, etc., this is one great place for lunch or dinner. We're big fans of the original Ba Mien, still going strong on FM 1960. Like so many others, we discovered it when the Houston Press raved about their Vietnamese chicken wings about 30 years ago. We became addicted to those wings and had them dozens of times, so came here hoping they were the same. They're identical - same crisp outer skin, moist tender meat underneath, and that great Asian sauce with Thai basil. But both places are so much more, and it's all great. I had the Mongolian special, where you pick whatever you can fit in a metal bowl and give it over to a cook on a large circular flat top. My wife had the same Chicken Vermicelli she always had a the original and it was as good as ever. The Mongolian is a blast to get because you get to go down a long line of great looking raw food and pick out every part of your dish - see my pictures. And everything here is amazingly fresh, and more than any 100 people could eat. So much fun picking the right combination of proteins (I went with steak, shrimp, and scallops), spices (Old Bay mixed with Montreal Steak) and veggies. Drop it off at the cooking station and it's delivered to your seat, with the rice or noodles of your choice, in about five minutes. The service is a little rough - our guy mentioned it was his first day, but he and the manager that visited our table were very sincere and incredibly polite and gracious. I can't bring myself to deduct one star for that, and I'm sure our guy will be proficient in a few days.Maybe the best part of this is that you could come here with any large group - work, family, friends - and everyone can find something they don't just like, but love - sushi, sashimi, pho, Vietnamese noodle dishes, and all those Mongolian choices. What a great discovery - delicious food and huge choices, covering most of our Asian favorites. We can't wait to come back.

Best pho in the area. I specifically like the broth because it's a tab bit sweeter than most I've had. The customer service is great and food is ready in no time :) Nice size eating area but I always do take out.

This place gets four stars for the food. The service was fine. They were understaffed and everything took longer than what I deem reasonable. But the food was worth the wait. The server was very nice and that was cool. One cook kept giving my hubby the evil eye. I think it's because we ordered off the menu and not the Mongolian grill LOL. Funny how we went to a Mongolian grill and got really great spring rolls, vermicelli and Pho. We will be back!

Fast service and it is never very busy for lunch. I have only tried the mongolian stir fry and Vietnamese food so far and I enjoy what I get every time. There is also sushi but I haven't tried it. There is lots of choice. The stir fry buffet line is always tidy and all the food looks fresh. All of it is properly refrigerated as far as I can tell.

Great service and fresh hot food. I love the make your own bowls. All the sauces, meats, veggies, and starches are a great idea. Next time, we're going to try the endless bowl option and request smaller bowls to allow us to sample more.
