Jamie L. "I got the chili burger to go so I'm not able to comment about the atmosphere and dining experience. The burger was around eight dollars and for eight dollars. I just expected a little more. There wasn't a lot of chili, the meat patty was rather thin and quite unseasoned. And it just didn't feel like there was a lot of substance so the filling to bread ratio was off. Maybe the chili burger wasn't the one to get but it was definitely lacking."

Love to bring the family here for a chill lunch or dinner. **Casual atmosphere with great food!"

Marc S. "Phil's is our longtime local burger joint and got us through the pandemic haha. Their burgers are always well made and the sweetness of their thick pillowy hamburger buns really help to make the burger what it is. It's very predictable and doesn't disappoint. We typicallly get the Rosedale, the Violet Crown, or the 78750. You get the choice of regular fries and/or sweet potato fries--very rarely are they soggy but typically seasoned well with a great crisp. Their food is a geeat value for the price. Highly recommend"

Tomas R. "In light of recent news about Highland Lanes moving locations, I have to say that aside from the classic game of bowling what I'm going to miss most is the damn near perfection of Lewbowsi's Grill burgers. I don't think anyone knows what a true diner burger is until they've had one. I was immediately brought back to my childhood having a burger with my great grandfather and great grandmother and it was insane the sense of nostalgia it brought me.Lewbowski's Grill has won multiple awards and accolades including highlights from Yelp, so that alone should be enough to get you to jump in your car and get here while you can. The fries are cooked to perfection, the burgers are made to order, and you can hear the sizzle from your bowling lane if your lucky enough. No over the top antica, no frills or crazy recipes, just some damn juicy and flavorful burgers. My friend and I were in awe as we each took our respective first bites and we ate in utter silence as an homage to what the kitchen served. If burgers were zero calorie I'm pretty sure i'd be here at least once a week if it were up to me lol.Damn now I'm craving a Lebowski's Grill cheeseburger and might have to sacrifice the diet later this week..."

Nancy G. "This place is definitely one of my top favorite wings place! I've been meaning to come here for months now and finally went this weekend and food was GREAT. They were actually voted for best wings in Austin, so definitely worth checking them out. You walk in and you sit wherever you want, server will come up to your table and take your order (keep in mind) they do get busy and may take a little while to get your food order, but hey it's a sports bar so watch a game while you wait patiently :) There is TVs all around and the staff is really nice. Pretty calm the night I went but great place to watch sports! The margarita swirl was gooood, pretty strong (not that strong) but enough for a slight buzz. & you can't go wrong with a mug of beer The fried pickled spears 5/5, nice and juicy, great fried crisp to them. The cheese fries 4.5/5, IMO I like a saucy cheese rather than shredded BUT these were really good! The waffle fries were really good tbh. The wings 'n burger basket with teriyaki wings 4.5/5, the burger lacked a bit of flavor and does not come with pickles. Only the cheese :/ The 10 piece (mild and spicy lemon pepper) 5/5, the dry rub took me by surprise. Such a good combo, never had a good spicy lemon pepper rub. Ranch dressing 5/5, it's up there with the wingstop ranch if you ask me not as liquid-y though bit more thick. Overall, I WILL BE BACK. This place is amazing, can't believe I passed it so many times and never went in."

HUGE shout out to the staff (or perhaps owners) who were so welcoming from the moment our group of seven walked in eager to order drinks and food (one hour before their kitchen was set to close). They found out we just wrapped up a long work day (15 hours) and greeted our table with a round of complimentary Jello shots. We ordered everything from southwestern chicken eggrolls, chips and queso, wings, fries, chicken tenders, fried steak fingers paired with old fashioneds, negronis, beer, and more jello shots!Great time, highly recommend!"

Allison C. "I have come to Los Chilakillers a couple of times for lunch now since I work near by. It's always packed (~10-20 min wait) and for a good reason. They have the best chilaquiles I have ever had and I order the Longhorn every time but change up my toppings. I usually get level 3 for spice level and it's the perfect amount of kick without having to constantly reach for water. The portion sizes are so generous that each order of chilaquiles becomes 3 solid meals for me. Despite the short wait, the service here is always excellent. Everyone is super friendly but sometimes the kitchen can be a little slow during peak hours. The music is lively and I love the colorful decor they have up. Since they are located in a strip mall parking is plenty and easy to find."

They have a lot of space and quite a few big TVs.I ordered wings and that's the one thing they could improve. There was simply not enough sauce (I'm sure they would've happily fixed that if I had asked). The burgers were juicy and cooked right.I realize this is a burger and taphouse place but.... I'm coming here for the ice cream! They'll make whatever your heart desires. It's a good thing I don't live closer to this place because I would be eating WAY too much of their ice cream. The playground is nice, and the burgers and fries are pretty decent. I love that you can order mini versions of their burgers. We shared the 3 mini option with a side of mixed fries (regular and sweet potato) which was really nice. My only complaint is the noise. We showed up at opening time (11am) on Saturday, and it got very busy and loud quickly. The service was great, respectful and courteous. Ordered the double meat burger and added cheese and jalapeños and bacon! With small fries and onion rings to try. The burger was .25lb and was packed good. Good amount of jalapenos. Spread across the burger not placed in the center like other places. The cheese tasted great. The meat was cooked to perfection. Onion rings were fried well. The batter had a great taste to it also. The fries were plain, no seasonings but nothing ketchup w a lil salt can't fix. I'm glad I found this place. We came in on a late Friday night, service was quick and friendly. The burgers were so juicy and flavorful with all the fresh ingredients they have to offer. But what stood out was the flavor profile here, the sourdough buns were a great combination to their toppings. They had a nice sweet savory flavor that was simply addicting, it's difficult to explain, but definitely a must try. Another thing that's unique about this place is that they offer a burger flight, great for not having to dedicate yourself to a single burger, and instead you get to try a variety!"

Jennifer P. "Since I moved here, I've been trying different burgers in the downtown area. A few days ago, I was absolutely starving so I walked over to Burger Bar on Congress. When I first arrived, I wasn't sure how I was supposed to order. It was late afternoon, between lunch and dinnertime, so no one else was there ordering. I walked up, looking confused and the gentleman cooking the burgers completely ignored me. A friendly hello or even a glance in my direction might have been nice, but I then realized I had to place my order on the touch screen on the counter. I placed my order for the double Wagyu cheeseburger and an order of fries. Of course, when I went to pay, the screen asked for a tip. As someone who wants good karma in life, I added a tip, but I ended up regretting it. This is a prime example of "tip culture" getting out of control. I am 100% ready and willing to tip for good, friendly service, but I literally placed the order MYSELF and couldn't even get a slight smile out of the workers. My order was ready pretty quickly and the man put the bag on the counter. Again, no smile, no "thank you," no nothing. As I walked away, I got pretty annoyed in my hangry state that I had just tipped for this. I walked home quickly, which took me less than 10 minutes, and the burger and fries were still perfectly hot when I took them out of the bag.I would describe the burger itself as a very similar vibe to Shake Shack, but you can tell the ingredients are better. The fries were a cross between McDonalds and In n Out, which I enjoyed. I personally am past my clubbing days and late nights out, but I can imagine that this meal would be even more delicious late at night after drinking. It definitely hit the spot for me and left me full enough without that terribly overstuffed feeling.I'm not gonna take away stars for the service. I learned my lesson the first time about tipping here. The burger and fries are a solid 4 in my book, and I won't downgrade the rating completely because of the lack of service. If you want to eat somewhere where people are kind and friendly, there's a place on every corner for that. I won't be coming here for that reason; I'll only be back when I'm super hungry for a decent burger."
