I know it's hard to mess these up, but mine was not good the first time. On my 3rd visit I tried it again, and it ended up tasting fresh and looked appealing to the eye. It is not a huge sandwich, but with fries, it is perfect for lunch."

"We recently had an event at a brewery where this BBQ truck was stationed (Rockabilly Brewery), and they absolutely blew us away! I reached out to them ahead of time to let them know we'd have a group ordering meals, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The owner went above and beyond, personally walking each order to our group one by one, which I truly appreciated-it's a lot of work, and it didn't go unnoticed!The food was phenomenal. Everyone in our group raved about how delicious it was, and even the pickiest eaters (including kids!) cleaned their plates. I ordered the two-meat plate with turkey sausage, rice, and potato salad, and everything was bursting with flavor--no complaints whatsoever. I had a bite of the the tacos and chopped brisket sandwich. They are not shy with the meat and the it was chef's kiss.This BBQ truck is a gem, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend them for great food and outstanding service!"

"Located in a rig across the street from the Austin Convention Center in downtown, this is probably a very convenient location to walk to for tourists and out-of-towners. The wait for your food is typically about 10 minutes from when you put in an order.I had walked past this place so many times on my way to other spots in downtown and figured I eventually had to try it. Wanting to give them the best shot, I decided to try their classic 1/4 lb burger. Overall, the burger wasn't bad and will definitely satisfy you if you are hungry and craving a burger. The fries, which were well-peppered, weren't bad either. Overall, it wasn't bad, and works in a pinch, but is a bit overpriced at $10 for a burger and fries."

"Absolutely delicious burgers and fries - don't sleep on this place! I've seen this place featured on social media and this is definitely worth the rave reviews. When they say seasoned fries, these fries are SEASONED (in the absolute best way). Flavor packed and fried to perfection - these were finished quickly. Get these, trust me. We also ordered the Buddy's spicy with cheese and the double classic with cheese. I was highly tempted to order the limited time texan patty melt but I wanted to try the double given this was our first try of Buddy's. The Buddy's spicy was actually spicy (my husband is from Louisiana so he knows spicy food) and so that pleasantly surprised us - I'm normally let down by promises of spicy when it comes to restaurants. So keep this in mind if you want to go the Buddy's spicy route. And I loved my double classic with cheese! Both burgers were juicy, packed with flavor, and everything fresh. The wait in the drive thru line was atrocious, it took about 30 min waiting to finally get our order. Dining in also looked very packed with every table taken and a lengthy line. But it was around the dinner rush (6:30pm) so that's understandable. Perhaps aim to get here earlier than you usually would to avoid the wait."

Fries seasoned and delicious Cabbage- I can eat this everyday it seemed he roasted the cabbage prior to cooking it had a smoky flavor which was out of this world.. A MUST!!!3 pc catfish with okra and greens- hubby did not share his plate with me it was that good he said it was actually better then he had in Atlanta, GAThe place is small chairs still up on tables. we put our chairs down ourselves which we don't mind friendly customer based.The cooking may take a little longer especially for 1 owner working all sides but let me tell you this place is LEGIT with awesome delicious southern cooking. Absolutely a hidden gem. "We came here on a Wednesday night for a meet up. The parking was pretty packed but we manage to find a parking space. There is a lot more parking in the back. The outdoor patio is really nice and the weather was also accommodating. The picnic style table and the easy going environment promotes networking with new people and a good time talking with friends. We had to go inside to order food but they give us a number and bring out the food. I ordered some fried and burger and it was good. Although it was pricy for what it was. I spend 25 on fries and burger. But I also pay for the environment and the atmosphere. So it was kind of worth it. Overall, a great experience/place to just meet new people and hang out with friends. Will come back in the future to hang out."

They let you BYOB from liquor store next door, which I did. The folks were nice, service was good. My son will be going here often for good food at good price. They have some really fun brunch options and I am yet to be disappointed. On the weekends they have specials and I cannot recommend more to try them. The specials are always so good. The service is great. I got a little confused with the online menu situation the first time but a server came over really quick and explained it was just drinks. I have had a few different servers here and they have all been kind and given us good and quick service. I like all of the different seating options in here as well as the patio! Could be a fun place to play pool or shuffleboard, but it's a very specific atmosphere."
