"My friends and I came here before attending a festival 7 min walk away. A lot of people had the same thought process as it was already almost at max capacity by the time we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. We got to share their large pretzel and sweet potato fries. The pretzel was huge, fluffy and chewy. My pretzel craving was satisfied especially with the queso dip. Fries were crisp, sweet, and salty! For entrees we tried their Carnitas tacos, Chicken Cesar salad, Angus burger, and Lamb burger. Everyone was happy with their choices since everything was prepared and seasoned well. The tacos I had were only two but they were pretty jam packed. Overall, we had a good experience. Service was slow but that was because they were very busy and barely staffed. Would come again if in the area!"

"Great dinner last night at the end of a busy but good week. This is basically a pub VS. Bar kind of spot. The service was excellent, parking was ample, and the food was decent. The soup of the day was ham and white beans and it was okay but needed a little more seasoning. It was served lukewarm. The Teriyaki Salmon was good and cooked to my liking but the Teriyaki sauce is a little overpowering. It would be better if it was cooked with the salmon and not just placed on top. The sushi rice and veggies were delicious. We didn't get dessert. It's a nice, casual, and decent spot. It very much has a neighborhood hangout feel."

"It's always a good time here for lunch, it's such a good vibe and the sandwiches that I've tried are always good and the fries are always hot just like the food. The service is great, I always feel so welcomed and the ambiance is like a neighborhood bar with great food. My guest and I always order beer and this time her beer came in a Budweiser class that she loved. I asked my waitress how much they were and she told us they are not for sale but would ask the owner just in case. We were able to take the glass with us free of charge, I was shocked and happy at the same time and thanked her immensely. I can't eat to go back for another Reuben."

"I have seen this place dozens of times and have always wanted to try it!! I had been at soccer game at Mercedes Benz late that evening and we came back and we were hungry! They weren't too busy and they were happy to seat our party of 4!We ordered some beers and the wait staff was extremely nice!! We ordered 2 orders of the wings and the fries and this was phenomenal. The wings were Korean fusion and the fries were crispy and well seasoned just stellar!!Would totally recommend for late night bites and I can't wait to come back for another meal."

"Dog friendly patio: check. Good solid bar food: check. Plenty of tv's: check. Tasty drinks: check. So overall, the perfect chill spot for a bite to eat in East Atlanta. After grabbing beers at Hippin Hops down the street, we decided to grab some REAL food but would also allow the pups, so our friends suggested The Midway Pub. Definitely super dog friendly, as there were already a few dogs on the patio when we arrived. We ordered inside at the register, I am a sucker for a greasy patty melt and that was exactly what I got, with a side of tots. And i don't mean that in a negative connotation at all. It was solid and perfect for soaking up the alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, they had boozy slushies going so of course I had to order one. The Midway Pub is the perfect spot for dog friendly sport watching hanging with solid food and drink!"

"Wheelhouse Pub is ok with me. We stopped in not expecting much but a few decent drinks and some small bites but after looking at other reviews we decided to try the menu. Maken cheese balls for starters, they need salt but they get an A for effort. The fish was cod. A very generous portion fried to perfection, accompanied with fries. The fish tacos were very tasty also. My baked potato could have been a little more "loaded" but all and all no complaints. A small private parking lot is here but I can't help to wonder what the situation is when they get a big crowd. Service was great. Thanks Mandy"

"I don't understand the bad reviews. I was recently at SFU and had a great experience. This location is just as good as the previous location if not better. The patio is great and the inside is nice. I ordered the fish and chips (fries) and thought they were great. The fish was nice and flaky and crispy. I would definitely recommend them. The Po Boy looked great as well. We sat at the bar so the service was relatively quick. We didn't wait too long for anything. I will definitely be back."

"Still 4 stars, but I have been going more often since the Rightous Room closed. The neighborhood regulars from Rightous Room have relocated to The Bat just a few doors down. My first time in since 2017 was a little spotty, but they have seemed to step up their game with some very good bartenders now, Hailey and Allie. Cheese curds are great! Overall the food is good. I really like the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Myself and several others wish they would change the layout a little to create more space as it can get tight. Solid TVs for watching sports. It's a good neighborhood bar."

"I've eaten at Manny's a few times, and it's a solidly good restaurant/bar. I've only come once at night and prefer to visit for lunch (for not particular reason at all). My guy usually gets a burger and he likes them. My favorite is the fried cod sandwich. And they have fantastic tator tots. Their specialty cocktails are also very good. Service is decent. Very laid back so don't be in a hurry. Manny's has a lot of regulars. They have some bikers who stop by weekly plus the usuals. We've always parked on the street and that's dicey because of other businesses so be prepared to walk the block. Yelp #17 2022"

I ordered a lager on cask, and when the pour did not come out properly, they poured it out and ensured that they got me a proper pour. Brick Store gets a lot of access to great breweries basically across the world. It's a beer nerds dream. Definitely worth a visit whenever you're in town."

On Saturday at 11:30, we weren't the only ones who had started drinking.I ordered off the brunch menu, choosing the brisket hash. My friend chose the gyro with tots and I think she had the better meal. Mine was roasted potatoes and onions with pieces of brisket drizzled with an overly sweet barbecue sauce. I'm sure some folks love this - I found it only okay and wouldn't choose it again.The gyro looked great though the cold tzatziki sauce turned the sliced meat into just warm. "I came to The Duke during a recent business trip to Atlanta after a night of bopping around to different bars in Buckhead . We were looking for a solid dive and Yelp led us straight to The Duke, which absolutely fit the bill in the best way. We only came for drinks so I can't speak to the food, but the service from Jade was amazing, the company was excellent, and the vibe was really laid back in the best way. The Guinness pours were honestly some of the best I've ever had (and we are tough critics on this). The glasses were clean, the pours were solid, and Jade's company was fantastic. For Jade's company and amazing Guinness pours (plus clean bathrooms which is always a positive!), The Duke is somewhere I'll absolutely continue to go to when work takes me back to Atlanta!"

"Good neighborhood bar feel. Bar itself is fine and there are lots of tables scattered about, plus some outside action. Dart boards, couple of video/arcade games.Smokeless Thursday was a thing. Server mentioned that Milltown Arms is now smokeless every night until 10 PM.- Corned Beef Reuben: one of the better examples I've had.- Tots: If you like tots, you'll like Milltown Arm's version.- Fish n Chips: decent. My fish was 'well done' to the point of being charred but not quite. Fries are good.Beer - they have it. Lots of drafts, lots of bottles/cans. Look to the far wall as you walk in from the street for the list of available beers. And wines.Service is good. You won't be treated like an outsider even if you've never been here before despite the place looking like a 'regulars only' hangout. It's Cabbagetown - people are chill.Parking - again, it's Cabbagetown, so don't get your hopes up. But Milltown Arms does have its own small lot to the left of the bar as viewed from the street. Otherwise, find a spot on the neighboring streets. Carroll St itself it a dicey proposition for parking. It's not only crowded, but also effectively one lane. So maneuvering into a spot might be challenging. Me, I just walk over from home."

So, since we had street parking we decided to venture the strip and found a small pub with a nice crowd (for a Sunday) Whelan's. They are serving endless mimosa from 11-3pm for $15 and the locals we're taking advantage. We order the chilli tai wings, these were really delicious tender, juicy and flavorful also a Caesar Salad and a Whalen Salad with steak. Jenny our waitress was amazing 5ft 4 in of personality. Oh, did I mention that we had mimosas also. The ambiance is much like an Irish pub, loud (endless mimosas) but welcoming and friendly. Oh one note there is a 18% gradtudity on each order... nevertheless happy we stumbled into this establishment."

"We came to Brewhouse Cafe on a Saturday afternoon to catch up with a friend. This was recommended by the friend, and since i'd never been I figured why not?I've passed by Brewhouse Cafe hundreds of times, and if you've been down moreland, so have you, as they're located at the corner of Moreland ave and Euclid ave.There's indoor as well as outdoor seating, with a large patio. They're also dog friendly, so bring the pup if you got one. Parking is a smallish lot that seems like it could get pretty full pretty quickly, however we found parking.For this day we were just getting appetizers, and we ordered/split wings. We ordered the Jumbo lemon pepper wings for $9.95. The jumbo wings came with 6 wings, and weren't exactly jumbo. They seemed regular size to me. The seasoning on these wings are aggressive, as in you'll need to drink water after each wing! My problem with the wing is they weren't crispy at all. They were very plump in the middle, juicy even, but no crisp or crunch when you chomped down. That's kinda a thing for me.Positives about Brewhouse? If you're interested in a game or any sporting event, there are screens all over the place with lots of seating and bar food/beer for days. Staff are also pretty cool...even the owner stopped by to check in on us and others!I just don't think the food quality matches the price or quantity of food provided, and there's just too many places in and around the area to keep coming back just for the food. Great sport events watching spot...just okay wings"

"Somehow, this place has stayed under my radar. We've lived in EAV for over 10 years but I'd never heard anyone mention the Stratford. I know it's in Avondale, but it's only 15 minutes from home so I was surprised to stumble upon this place. So Edward was our server. He was very prompt, courteous and had a great sense of humor! The drinks were great! I had the fish sandwich which was outstanding! The hubby had shepherd's pie and while it tasted great, there was quite a bit of oil floating on top. No biggie though. Overall, still had to give 5 stars. Oh, and they also had one of the cleanest ladies room I've ever seen in a "pub" atmosphere. Definitely will come back to try some other great looking menu choices!"

"My friends brought me here on a Friday night after I landed in Atlanta! There's not many tables inside so we did wait around 25 minutes for a table. There's also covered patio sitting, which is where we ended up. Prior to sitting down we hung around the bar and had some beers. They were tasty and served at the right temperature. To eat we shared an order of blue cheese chips. So damn delicious! I'm pretty sure the chips were homemade as well. On top of the chips was huge blue cheese crumbles, tomato, cilantro and bacon. It was so yummy I'm salivating thinking about it. MmmTo eat I ordered grilled cheese and added tomato. It was a very yummy grilled cheese. With the grilled cheese came fries and a thin tomato dipping sauce. It was so delicious and creative. Like grilled cheese and tomato soup...but a sauce instead of soup. Fries were good as well. Service was just okay, not terrible, but just okay. Prices are decent. For the grilled cheese, two beers and the chips it was only $20."

"We've been to the Imperial on many occasions, but I have not yet written a review. Here it goes...Last month, we walked over on a Wed evening for the 1/2-off wine bottle special. Didn't need parking, but there is a lot adjacent to the restaurant, and there is street parking in the vicinity. We were able to score a high-top table near the bar area without a wait, and the server and bartenders were friendly. We nibbled on a kale salad, and tried a cup of the soup of the day, with a bowie Q sandwich. Really liked the kale salad and the sandwich. Also, the atmosphere of the restaurant is calm enough to have a conversation and hear what is being said. The bar is full, and the menu has enough variety to have something for most folks. Lastly, the patio is great on a nice night. Check it out..."

If I was in the area then i'd go back but would try different items."
