"This place was the spot to be after a conference I attended at the Omni Hotel. The service was great, Mary helped me and she checked in regularly, had great food recommendations and was overall very pleasant (even when I forgot my receipt and had to come back to get it)! She suggested the nachos for me and they were really good!! A little misleading because the looked dry, but they were in fact very flavorful and the chicken was juicy! There were generous helpings of guacamole and toppings and they came out SO FAST... literally like 5 mins. I came in around 7ish after the conference and while there were a decent amount of people there, more from the conference kept trickling in and it was a fun atmosphere to have a social dinner. The prices were fair for hotel food and I enjoyed my time dining here!"

"Came here for a birthday dinner last night. It is a lounge/restaurant located in East Point. It's not in a really "popping" area but the location itself is nice. There's plenty of parking.Now on to the constructive criticism piece of my review bc I think this restaurant really needs some help.We came in on a Saturday night and the birthday boy's party was literally the whole place. There may have been maybe 7 additional customers. With that being said when his party walked in and sat down wherever(it was empty) he was told that we had to move bc the tables were "reserved". For who I don't know bc we were there until midnight and pretty much nobody outside of the bday boys party showed up lol. They didn't even bother to seat our party together. Second. Get a new DJOur waitress was very nice but she had no clue about the menu. She didn't know what was in any of their specialty drinks and the menu doesn't tell you either. I think even at the most basic level a waitress should know about everything that's on the menu if the place she is working. I asked for a French 75 and she didn't know what that was either so maybe this was her first waitressing job. Again she was super sweet though.The pasta is straight up oil so don't even bother ordering but the southwest egg rolls were really good. You guys need to make some changes to the menu. it's all over the place. Lastly, the bottle prices are ridiculous for the location. They're charging the same prices as Buckhead. Like we're in East Point lol. If I'm going to pay those prices I'd rather go somewhere where the vibes are much better. Honestly everything was overpriced for the quality and presentation. If I want to pay high prices I'll go to the city at least I get a little bit more bang for my buck.But overall, I won't be back lol. Just thought I'd offer some suggestions."

But whatever you do, don't come half stepping or risk being whispered about (lol) the hostess welcomed me with a warm smile and was able to answer my question about if I can smoke a hookah at the bar before I could ask lolService: the lady who made my hookah was the bomb!!! I asked if I could use my own shisha since it's nicotine free and she did it with no problem! The hookah was smoking sooooo good omg ! she charges $45 for hookah. The bartender, Rose was so pleasant and had good convo for ya! She made me feel welcomed. Her mixology skills were superb to me! She put my order in and I was able to substitute the mashed potatoes for the Mac n cheese. I seen a previous review saying they couldn't substitute sides, well I'm here to tell u that's not true!Food: DELICIOUS!!!!! Everything about the stuffed salmon plate was good. Nothing was lacking. And I went on a Tuesday evening. So I'm sure it's still great on a busy night. The Mac n cheese was cheesy and good, the salmon was cooked but not overcooked, the two shrimp on top was juicy and flavorful. I think it was stuffed with some kind of cheese filling. The asparagus was good too. The customer next to me at the bar said his burger and fries were very good. I'll try that on a quick night lolOnly thing I'll like to see is that they have happy hour every week night and offer nicotine free shisha for the hookah. Convo surely will keep you talking!"

"This place is where it's at! Located in the Piedmont Area of Atlanta, it's a very popular venue for both locals and out of towners. We decided to drop in for brunch around 1pm and it was packed both inside and out and the doors opened at 12p. There is a 2 hour seating limit per party, you can sit outside or purchase bottle service inside. However, the more bottles you buy, the more your time limit extends. After 7 bottles and Lord knows how many hours of "brunchin", this day was a blur. All I will say is that the music/DJ here was different. The food was fresh, seasoned to perfection also. The lobster Mac n cheese w the fried shrimp is a must try. It's packed w so much flavor. The hot wings here are mouth watering too. There's so much I want to say about the food and service but for some reason it's not all coming back to me at the moment (still drunk 2days later). There's hookah here also if that's your thing. Honestly I enjoyed this place the most and will make sure I drop in every time I'm in the city. 5 stars for the venue5 stars for the food and service5 stars for the DJ15 stars total. Let's get it!!!"

"I had a great experience at Vision this past Monday with my husband.Monday was a federal holiday but they stayed opened until 12am. We went around 7:30pm and it was not packed at all. We were able to be seated immediately and even got a section for free. There was also no cover charge that night. We took a Lyft ride there so I can't say what parking's like.The ambiance was nice. Definitely a club vibe with lots of bright lights, and there were several TVs. They also have board games and a really big game of connect four. They were giving away prizes if you won bingo the night we came, but you had to win twice to get a prize which was like first place a bottle of Don Julio, 2nd place Free hookah, and I forgot the other one.We arrived right before happy hour was over and our waitress said everything was half off! I ordered a hookah to start and two cocktails. The hookah came pretty fast but the cocktails took about 20 minutes or less. No problem because the vibe and music were good. The hookah was smooth but we didn't get big clouds until about 30 minutes in but the flavor was good.For my cocktails I ordered the Sparkling Rose (which was really tasty) and the Tango Mango which was great as well. For food we ordered chicken wings with the sweet chili sauce and the salmon bites. Pretty good. Our server was quick and attentive and even though they charge 20% gratuity I had no problem tipping extra. No complaints."

Instead of correcting it or providing something for the inconvenience, we were crammed into a 10seater booth so the couples had to sit on each others laps. While there, the music was good and we had a good time. However, when it was time to check out, the waitress got our bill incorrect and charged the wrong amount for our bottles. She gave us a really hard time about correcting it and was hesitant to give us a receipt for the refunded amount. The night lasted longer than needed.Needless to say, I'm not in a rush to go back. If I did go back then I wouldn't come with a large party because reservations don't seem to be honored."

"I was visiting Atlanta and was told that Jojo's Beloved is a must-visit while in town. I loved everything about it: the 80's inspired music, knowledgeable servers and a menu that featured a wide range of cocktails for any flavor that you're in the mood for. I love how the menu shows the ingredients for each cocktail as well as its drink inspiration. I tried the Bee Gee's cocktail, which was made of Hayman's Sloe Gin, Cadao Ruby Port, honey, Galliano, lemon juice and champagne. It was definitely one of the most unique cocktails that I've ever had! My brother had the Le Samourai and said it was fantastic! He visits Jojo's frequently and said everything he's had there has been amazing!"

"Xperience Sports Bar & Lounge, also known as Xperience International, was a pleasant surprise. I thought both the food and service here were good. Where else in Atlanta can you get a high-quality, cooked-to-order, grass-fed steak with sides for $24? What a great deal.We originally wanted to eat on the patio at the Lions. However, when we saw their patio was completely full, I walked down the sidewalk of Crossroads Village (the shopping center at the corner of Buford Highway and Clairmont Road) and saw an empty table on Xperience's patio. I walked inside Xperience (one of the two front doors was propped open), was greeted by friendly server Jeana W, and I asked her if we could have dinner on the table outside. There was only one other table, suitable for a small group, outside and it was taken by a group of ladies smoking hookah. Like the Lions, Xperience offers hookah in addition to food and drink.This used to be Empire Sports Bar & Lounge: https://bit.ly/34CAWaT. Xperience opened in its place in mid-September 2020.Inside, wow. This is a sports bar and then some. Big, bright TVs everywhere. Two spacious rooms, both with bars. And the atmosphere is that of a club/lounge. It's lavish. Unless you've been inside, you'd never expect it looking from the outside because of the storefront's reflective tinted windows. We visited for dinner and I saw the interior turn from brightly-lit daytime service to dark, club-like, nighttime service. When I walked inside right before sunset, I saw a mix of clientele enjoying themselves: groups smoking hookah, guys on their laptops, and singles at the bar. If you're looking for a more traditional sports bar, you might want to head elsewhere because this is more of a nightclub and lounge.During our visit, we were handed two menus, one for hookah and the other for food and non-alcoholic beverages. Surprisingly, they didn't have an alcoholic drink menu yet. However, the business was still fairly new at the time so they may very well have a proper drink menu by the time you read this. They already appeared to be serving a full bar with cocktails. Hookahs were $25 each with seven flavor options, $10 refills, and Mighty Freeze ($27) and House Hookah ($30) for a bit more.Generally, the cuisine served was American and Southern. Appetizers had lady names such as the Lily ($8) which was hummus with balsamic reduction and grilled pita bread and the Victoria ($11) which was grilled shrimp with cucumber mango salad. They offered tacos (chicken, shrimp, and steak; three for $14-15), wings in five flavors/sauces (10 for $12, 20 for $22, 30 for $32), entree-sized salads ($15-18 each), sandwiches ($11-12 each with fries), and specials such as the Southern Hospitality ($18), consisting of grilled free-range chicken breast, the Chamblee Salmon ($22) that comes with potato cake, and the Com' on Man ($25) New Zealand lamb chops.Take note: They have Taco Tuesday when it's three for $10 tacos and Grown Woman Wednesday when a group of four ladies can get half-off hookahs.I had the Bella ($11) app - fried calamari with spicy marinara sauce - and The Champ ($24) entree - grass-fed grilled filet mignon, mashed potatoes, broccolini, baby carrots, and a bourbon-infused demi-glace. The Bella was par for the course. Not bad, not remarkable; tasty, satisfactory, and served its purpose. If anything, I think the calamari could've been crispier, but I liked that it wasn't too oily nor salty.The Champ steak was an excellent value. We were all impressed with how thick the cut was. Generous portion size. I requested the filet to be cooked medium rare and it came out with a perfectly pink, tender, and juicy center. The demi-glace was savory and delicious; I just wished there was more of it. The steak itself was quality though. The mashed potatoes, broccolini, and baby carrots were all fresh and delectable. Honestly, if I didn't know any better, by the look and taste of the dish alone, I would've thought it came from a fine dining establishment. Overall, they did a nice job with dish presentation. This is certainly not run-of-the-mill pub grub.I had water to drink. I normally don't mention my drink if it's just water, but I'm mentioning it in this review because I appreciated how Jeana served us complimentary iced water from the bar and didn't just automatically assume or serve us $4 bottles of Fiji Water. While not a big deal, other similar bars and lounges can do that to you. As long as it's potable, it's fine with me. Yet another reason for my four-star rating for this place.My friends, who ordered the veggie spring rolls, tacos, and grilled chicken sandwich with bourbon-infused barbecue sauce and coleslaw all seemed to enjoy their meals. We had a fun.Service was good. Jeana and the other waitress were wonderful. They were kind and attentive. "I stopped in between events and it was all that and then some! The energy there was something else. All the decor was on point and I just adore the vibes. The concierge took my name and immediately seated me. They didn't waste any time taking my order. I love some good Brussels Sprouts. When I saw it on the menu I was curious. Could they be as good as others? My server assured me that they were the BEST! He was not lying! I didn't know I could love this dish any more than I did. But I do! Flavorful, crispy and just enough for a serving. Loved it! I then asked what the best dessert was. He said the peach en croque. I had the bread pudding in mind but so thankful I picked this dessert. It gets kind of messy but it's absolutely worth it. The buttery flakey top blends well with the warm peachy center. Loved it as well. This was my first time back in the city after some time. They offer self parking for $10-$20 on the weekend (free during the week).I ordered the shrimp & grits, brussel sprouts, and a mango mimosa. The shrimp and grits were very flavorful and I'm glad it was served with the tail off, but I'm not sure why they put a big half of a lemon in the dish. Lemons are the dirtiest fruits and the placement seemed off. The brussel sprouts were good, but were sweet. I prefer savory brussels over sweet. The mango mimosa was delicious. I like that I could taste the flavor, but it was too much juice/syrup.The aesthetics are cute and it was a chill vibe. They played older r&b songs, not recent music. Unfortunately, they do not carry hot sauce just tabasco. It's also important to note that they do not offer complimentary water. The water is $7-$14.We sat at the bar. Our server was Jessica. It took almost an hour to get our food, but besides that the service was good. AJ wasn't our server, but she was awesome and really nice!"

Although, it doesn't appear that the upstairs has changed much at all which was shocking. At any rate for a Saturday night after 11pm...there were wayyy more young adults than I desired. Only a few 35+ attending. Because of this I was a bit on guard about if & how long would the night would go on successfully before 1 got drunk & got thrown out OR there was a fight. Wellllllll, right around 1ish..."Knuckle If You Bunk" (rap song...I think that's the name of it) came on & some how...a fisty crowd formed & there was some pushing & shoving w/a tall thick chic in the circle of all the activity. She obviously was feeling the song & the words of the song & she was ready to fight somebody from another group. Needs less to say...a good nice of a popping DJ ended for me hear when I watched the thick chic..try to make her way back to the same area she begin bucking. I don't do drama, nor fighting & sure not trying to feel my name of a bullet (due to allll the young saggy pants wearing fella's....so this is when I bounced after the shoving & arguing begin again. SUGGESTION: HOPE TO SEE PAT DOWNS BEFORE ENTRANCE & HIRE 2-OFF DUTY POLICE...as this maybe an unsafe situation ready to happen when you allow youngsters into your business. Once our party got larger, they offered us to move to a bigger booth once it opened up, which offered us a lot more space than the table we were at originally.The Atmosphere: Felt like your typical hookah spot. I heard it's a good mix of music, but the night we went, it was mostly all AfroBeats.The Hookah: If I recall correctly, I believe the hookah was priced decently at about $25. The hookah also hit really good. I found myself pretty buzzed rather quickly. I ate before I came, so I didn't order any food; however, I was offered some food once people could no longer finish their meals from being stuffed. The entrance is certainly strange and I felt lost multiple times. But once I was sure I had found the right place, the restaurant itself was very nice. We did have to wait a little while, but that was fine. Our server was wonderful. We had some food sensitivities amongst our party, and she took it very seriously and even went to the kitchen to make sure that their products were free of allergens. The food itself was fine, nothing extravagant. It was probably a little more expensive than I thought it should be, but it was fine. The view of the planes was definitely the best part, and the kids loved it. To be honest, the adults did too. Planes are just cool, man. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add plane themed coloring placemats or something for the kids to do to keep them busy at the table."

"Living Room is a Rande Gerber masterpiece that also serves as the main bar @ the W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta. It opens every day at noon, and you can be sure enjoy yourself within its confines. I love the styling of the place- as I can't even describe what category it falls under, and I don't want to mislabel it. But it is truly unique. There are even a bunch of hidden seating areas under steps and what not if you would like more privacy.At the bar area, they have beautiful bartenders (and ladies, I guess you can say there are a few handsome male bartenders as well) shaking up anything you wish. There are two tvs too behind glass, which give it a cool feel. The seating is spacious and there are many types as well, and when you go outside, it is another story! They have a wall lined with greens (sorry, not a botanist), and bordered by a running stream, W style. It provides great views of midtown and a place to get some fresh air. You never know who you may run into out here! There is a gentleman that always opens the door for you as well.The staff and selection are top notch, and although some items can be pricey (remember, this is in a hotel), the service you get makes it at least more worthwhile- as I have been to places and spent $15+ on a drink that they might as well have pissed in it...I am actually surprised that no one has made a review of this place yet! The crowd here is diverse and hosts a lot of cool events (I highly recommend you check out if you are a modern art fan)- it can get real busy at times, but well worth it! For me, this has been one of my favorite Gerber Bars- I will be sure to take some pics the next time I go! And yes, I will be back, as I know it will be a pleasurable experience!"

If you are looking for a place to hear good music, have good drinks , and decent food this is your spot. M Bar is a true lounge. This venue is a tiny unsuspecting gem in the middle of the block. The atmosphere is chic and sexy. There are projectors and TVs all over showing a classic movie which added to the chill ambiance while I listened to the DJ play everything I like. The furniture is simple and modern it has a upscale look.The staff and management were extremely friendly and personable. Our waitress was very attentive we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and the staff made sure your area stayed clean of empty glasses and plates. During my visit my cousin knocked a drink over on the table and without even looking for her in seconds the waitress was there to clean it up. The crowd was sophisticated and diverse. The one aspect of my visit which impressed me the most was how clean the restrooms were. There was no cover to get into the M Bar, but prices are a tad on the high end for food, and hookah. The average cost for a glass of wine is definitely more expensive here than most places. Liquor prices are average. Classy crowd, awesome dj and clean bathrooms will definitely have me coming back soon."

We moved to a dining room table and our cute server YoYo was a sweet gal but slightly vapid. We were told that they had no sake in the place either. Wow. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive and then out came our salads! This should have been brought out first! The timing and thoughtfulness was lacking and I do NOT blame our server as this is an obvious negligence of the management to not instruct their employees better. Our food was very tasty, however, and well-prepared to boot. I don't recommend coming here if you're in a hurry. Just saying."

"I honestly don't know what to make of this place. It was next to my hotel and the beautiful exterior drew me in.When I got inside, it felt like a night club. It was super dark and I was carded and then told to sit anywhere so I sat at the bar. I ordered some steak bites and some fries. My server forgot to put the order for the fries in so I only got the steak bites and they were really tasty! However, they gave me disposable silverware to eat the steak with, which felt a little odd.I wouldn't say go and I wouldn't say not go - just check it out for yourself. Making a reservation is seemingly unnecessary but easy through the yelp app.Also, be warned: this is also a hookah lounge so it goes have that fruity smoke scent to it."

"This is a nice spot for various ages, it is a club not a lounge as stated in the name. The music was great; The DJ was killing it ...only reason I gave it 4 stars is because no one really danced and there wasn't much of a dance floor. The bartenders was super nice one even went out of her way to go to get some cherries for me, helpful and sexy; kind of thought I was in a strip club looking at the g string red faux leather body suits.. They played a mix of rap and reggae....Entry fees was $20 and $20 for VIP parking; however the parking lot is large enough to park free *I love that, I hate the idea of paying for parking. There are other clubs in the same plaza as well so you can do a small club hop if you wanted to;I did not try the food, however I did see a few people taking to go boxesAnother downside is the only seats they have is for VIP....* I did see people smoking in there, don't know what they were smoking**I felt safe* Lots of huge security, not playing any games and the police was also right out side.There were a lot of sexy people in the building including 50 cent...The place was clean given the crowd, including the bathroom; Will return now that I know its close to home. "It's a rooftop bar so I should have tempered my expectations.Especially when we saw they were frisking the guy ahead of us. When we arrived, it was the final minutes before the later night crowds had descended, so the bar was empty. We had to wait a while to order, OK, no big deal, but I was less than thrilled with what should be a standard drink, an Aperol Spritz, which came at a NYC price with a fraction of the expertise (not that it takes any great skills to make a spritz). Simply put, something was missing or the Prosecco was flat.We grabbed the last seats available outside and watched as people came out and then reluctantly back inside where the music was too loud and the sound system couldn't handle it. Outside, we sat by a fuzzy speaker, quickly drank our drinks and leftIf a rooftop bar could just be chill, no thumping music through a questionable sound system, no mediocre cocktails at a premium price, perhaps then I wouldn't feel this sense of doubt when considering going to one. In theory, these should be great places to sip on a drink while taking in gorgeous views of the city lights, breathing in that city air. It's just often not the case."

"Mark and I attended the Christopher Cross concert at Center Stage tonight and needed some place nearby to have dinner after the concert.I found this restaurant on Yelp right down the street from Center Stage.Brittany and the entire staff at Aveline were super friendly and efficient and welcomed us in.Mark and I ordered a variety of shared plates plus cocktails. The food and drinks were delicious.We loved our deviled eggs, the pimento cheese fritters and the chicken sliders. The No Rain and Heart of Glass cocktails were amazing.Brittany kept the food and cocktails coming and we loved our date night dinner here!Brittany gave us certificates to come back for free drinks. A really nice surprise!Super clean bathrooms and a gorgeous dining area!The ambience and background music were great!!Mark and I decided that this will be our spot for pre and post concert food and drinks when attending Center Stage. "Best Dance Club in Atlanta - 70's VibesJohnny's is a great place to go and soak in the retro atmosphere. It has a distinct feel that is hard to describe. Excellent service and a fun place to strike up a conversation with another of the friendly patrons and also a good place to people watch. They have a DJ and a dance floor that consists of 1970's music. The place might not be for everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed it and chances are you will too.Thanks"
