"Another lunchtime visit! And it was everything!!! I cannot get enough of Korean food, I just absolutely love it! I went for a solo lunch and totally enjoyed the lunchbox offered! I feel like I could eat here at least weekly if I lived closer! The service is consistently great, the food is always amazing and it's a super well maintained restaurant!"
"I was so sad when their other location Takorea closed down a few years ago, so I was excited to finally make my way over to Hankook. It's a pretty small parking lot but I came for an early Friday dinner and was able to find parking! This place is pretty no frills, but the staff is super friendly and helped me with placing an order. I just got a taco combo with the beef bulgogi taco and a pork taco with sesame fries and a soda. The food came out super fast which I appreciated and I was able to snag a booth as well. I loved the sauce on each and the price to value here just can't be beat. The star of the meal though has to be their sesame fries. OMG. I literally finished them all!! Overall, great quick service meal with some interesting flavors. Definitely check them out."
A Korean classic. Sweet, savory and smoky with green onions and a sesame seed garnish.

Visit Restaurant Page"A friend and I came here during lunch. It was busy! We sat down at a booth and this place is spacious! We came for the AYCE and we can choose our broth. I got the spicy dashi and off we go to fill our plates. They have so many varieties to choose from. We got plenty of greens: kale, spinach, mushrooms, dumplings, meatballs, fishballs, sweet potato, malanga, kimchi, etc. They also brought out large plates of meat and seafood for us to start. Everything was fresh and delicious. They do limit your time, but we sat there for a while and no one rushed us. We were only able to get 2 plates of meat/seafood before we were full. I would definitely come back just for the AYCE. It was more than enough food to fill me up. We weren't able to eat as much meat as we intended to. But good service and nice selection of food. We left with full and happy bellies!"
"It has been 12 years since I last came to this place but the food is still good. The parking lot is still shared with a corner store. They have a patio now and do not let customers inside. They want you to use a QR code to place your order and pay. The patio does not have chairs.I ordered the pork rinds, brisket, korean pork BBQ, and mac and cheese. They gave me a lot of pork rinds for $4. The pork rinds are very crispy but lack flavor. The brisket is extremely good. The Korean pork BBQ is my favorite because it has the most flavor. Mac and cheese is very tasty."
"First of all, they changed their name (and the outdoor sign) to "CM Chicken".I've been meaning to check out their famous Korean Chicken for ages. There are many Korean Chicken restaurants in the Duluth and surrounding areas, but Choong Man Chicken seemed to stand out for some reason.I arrived super-early for lunch, and was seated right away. The place had a dark, barsy vibe...but they did play some perky K-Pop videos. Am thinking this place is more popular at nights...since chicken and beer is a thing (with Koreans). Anyway, the service was friendly...and the foods came quickly.Anyway, I tried their "Soy Garlic Spring Greens Chicken", which comes with a side of white radish. I also ordered a side or Rice. Since I came for lunch, I got the smaller portion, which was still substantial. As expected, the chicken was delish...but not quite what I expected. The chicken didn't seem double-fried (?) and wasn't crispy...which was disappointing. I guess to get the double-fried crispy, I should have gone with other flavors. I actually regretted not choosing their signature flavor, "Snow Onion Chicken"...as that chicken seemed more crispy.Overall, I was a tad disappointed...but mostly due to what I chose (?). Am thinking that I'll try their "Snow Onion" next time...and see if that'll merit 5 stars."
"For some reason, I keep turning back to this place when I visit Duluth... possibly because of its convenient location and comfort level?Anyway, I swung in super-early for lunch (first to arrive!), and tried this Omurice Tonkatsu plate, along with a side of Bulgogi Kimbap. First of all, I'm not a huge fan of eggs, but I just had to try their Omurice... which is a popular Korean specialty, where you wrap pan-fried eggs around a bed of Fried Rice, topped with Gochujang sauce. Well, despite NOT being a fan of eggs, I loved their Omurice! The Fried Rice was great as well...So freshly made, with lotsa veggies mixed in. Their Tonkatsu wasn't very big, but it was very good. Thin and crispy, and topped with this zesty sauce. Loved the creamed corn as well. So overall, this dish was a win for me!Surprisingly, however, their Bulgogi Kimbap wasn't as great as before. For some reason, the Bulgogi just didn't taste good...nor fresh. VERY surprising because I've credited this place for having THE best Kimbaps. Hopefully this was a fluke??? As usual, the service was stellar. Also, the place was very nicely air conditioned, with great overhead music.Overall, I loved it here...as usual. Despite the disappointing Kimbap, the Omurice Tonkatsu dish more than made up for it...so can't dock a star."
"I enjoyed the original Gopchang on Fire in Suwanee, so it was no surprise that I ended up enjoying Gopchang on Fire 2 too. For a satisfying, no-frills gopchang experience, Gopchang on Fire 2 gets the job done.I believe Gopchang on Fire is the OG gopchang restaurant brand/chain in Georgia. If you're unfamiliar with gopchang, it's Korean grilled cow and pig intestines. It's like Korean barbecue, from the in-table grills to the banchan (side dishes), but instead of beef brisket and pork belly, it's intestines and tripe.Unfortunately, just the words "intestines" and "tripe" are an immediate turnoff for a lot of people. To each their own. That said, if you're open-minded and/or the adventurous type when it comes to food, I encourage you to try one of these gopchang restaurants. I think gopchang is delicious and I've yet to be disappointed. If you've had intestines and tripe from other places/cuisines (e.g., Chinese, Latin American), throw those experiences out the window. Korean gopchang is different in almost every way -- taste, smell, and texture (more on that below). Set aside any preconceived notions. Don't knock it till you've tried it.Since I reviewed the original Gopchang on Fire in 2016, several gopchang restaurants have opened in metro Atlanta, mostly in Gwinnett County, of course. It's a good sign Atlanta can sustain at least seven gopchang restaurants now, by my count. At the time of writing this, they include:* Gopchang on Fire 1 - Suwanee - opened 2015https://bit.ly/2NlVHi1* Gopchang on Fire 2 - Duluth - opened 2017https://bit.ly/3P4igrp* Hwangso Gopchang - Duluth - opened 2018https://bit.ly/3T0qbav* 9292 Gopchang - Duluth - opened 2018https://bit.ly/3SYOXI2* Gopchang Salon - Suwanee - opened 2021https://bit.ly/432bsQS* Hwangso Gopchang 2 - Duluth - opened 2023https://bit.ly/3V4oA5Z* Gopchang on Fire 3 - Doraville (Buford Highway) - opened 2023https://bit.ly/432q02RGopchang on Fire 2 replaced Ham Ji Bak Cafe ( https://bit.ly/432YUbK ) in the Satellite Square shopping center, two buildings down from popular Jang Su Jang Korean restaurant. Next door to Gopchang on Fire 2 is Jok Ga A Dong Chim, which is a great bossam place, by the way: https://bit.ly/2ThqTTx Bossam is another Korean cuisine: boiled pork wraps. It's really good and better for less-adventurous eaters.Gopchang on Fire 2 had a pretty streamlined menu. The combos are the way to go and then I suggest adding a side of rice or noodles (e.g., Kimchi Fried Rice for $4.99). Also, gopchang goes well with soju. The restaurant sold a few different flavors, priced at $12.99 per bottle. There were only two combos: A ($59.99) and B ($69.99). They came with the exact same things. The only difference was the portion size. Combo A was designed for 3 people and Combo B was designed for 4 people. My friend and I, just two of us, completely demolished one Combo A. It came with:* Gop Chang - small intestine of cow* Dae Chang ("big innards") - large intestine of cow* Mak Chang ("last tripe") - upper lining of last stomach of cow* Tuek Yang - upper lining of first stomach of cow* Yeomtong - cow heartEverything was yummy. Unlike the intestines I've had at a lot of non-Korean restaurants, these tasted very clean and lean. No unpleasant smell or odor and not overly fatty or oily. The fat was trimmed off, which is one thing I appreciate about gopchang. They prepared it well. The organs were seasoned and/or marinated. The small intestine was stuffed with ingredients like garlic. Yum. We got two dipping sauces: sesame oil with salt and Korean soy sauce with chopped bird's eye chili. The latter was subtly sweet. Overall, I thought all of the intestines, tripe, and heart had savory, appetizing flavors with various firm and chewy consistencies. In general, the first stomach is the chewiest and it only gets chewier the longer it's on the grill.Banchan, with standard free refills, included spicy chives, spicy pickled onion and bell peppers, spicy cold mung bean sprouts, and kimchi. I will say, aside from the chives, the banchan was a bit lackluster. The quantity was there, but the quality was not. None of the dishes were bad. It's just that the competition is very stiff in Gwinnett when it comes to banchan freshness/quality and variety. However, I'm not complaining much because the meal we had was reasonably priced. As is customary at Korean barbecue restaurants in Atlanta, our food was cooked for us at our table by the servers. We visited on a Tuesday night and there were only two young ladies working the front of the house. The place got decently busy - maybe seven active tables at its peak - and the servers stayed on top of everything. They were nice too. Great service. This is a small, humble, old-school restaurant. The interior isn't as modern or nice as some of the aforementioned newer gopchang restaurants. Gopchang on Fire 2 feels more warm, homey, and low-key. The grill ventilation wasn't great, but not bad either."
"I had to walk back memory lane today and eat at Blossom Tree. This was (and still is) one of my favorites when I was a student at GSU and dining here was so nostalgic for me. Quite a lot has changed with this place but was told it's the same owner ever since I started going here. One of the big changes - they used to have a sauce bar where you can get your own sauce and free barley tea. I didn't see either of these but it wasn't a big deal. It's counter service and I decided to order a tofu bibimbap with lettuce base and sides of kimchi and brown rice. The staff was very friendly and their customer service is great. I was in the middle of ordering but someone called and the server excused himself to take the call.It only took a few minutes for our orders to come. Mine came with a decent amount of deep fried tofu on top of lettuce. This could have definitely used more sauce since the lettuce was dry with no dressing. I dumped the kimchi to make a salad bowl scenario, which helped with the dryness of the dish."
"This is an AYCE type of Korean BBQ. So basically you get a grill at the center of the table and they keep bringing you meat to grill (yourself). The area is in a strip mall and it's free parking. There are a lot of walkable areas so parking and walking around after a dinner would be something that you could do. The vibe at the restaurant is super nice. They have an upstairs area so there is a lot of space inside the establishment. There is a lot of light so even though the decorations are dark wood, it's still bright. On the weekends it's the standard dinner pricing (the Donner and weekend price is $50 a person). Everybody needs to be able to eat the same, so just be aware that everybody at the table has to be on the same page. And also, there's no carry out for all you can. They bring the meat two at a time, and they bring a bunch of different accommodations in the forms of salad and kimchi and wraps and such. The appetizers are coming out hot so you have to think about ordering those. But it's pretty straightforward, order all to meat you want.I like the fact that The waitresses and waiters will want to grill for you between food and help you cook your food for you. I bet you may need it but it's nice that they actually try. That's a really good touch. For the appetizers I tried the Korean fried chicken, spicy, and I tried the chicken dumplings on my first go. The spicy chicken was fried chicken tossed in a spicy sauce and it was pretty tasty and savory with the proper spice. The dumplings didn't come with a sauce but I dipped mine in some yum yum sauce and that made it good. The egg souffle was also pretty good. Very light and airy. For my meat I tried to different cut steak and to be brisket to start off. I also tried the Hawaiian steak and the spicy beef bulgogi. I also dabbled in plenty of peppers /onions/ and mushrooms so they helped accommodate the meal. Aside from the Hawaiian (which may have had a little too much sweet for me), Everything was good. The bulgogi was kind of fatty but had plenty of favor. I ordered a few orders of brisket, they add sesame oil and a salt and pepper blend and it hits every time! This is a solid choice and has a lot of options (as long as you pay attention to the pay points regarding what days are a specific price)."
"I didn't think I'd like it but it was good, I loved the spice/seasoning they provided to dip the meat in. Do be warned that it takes a bit for the meat to cook and you can only put very few skewers at once. Also, the skewers are small so it can be very easy to spend more than intended though you do get a good amount per order.Place is small and not very accomodating for very large groups but still definitely worth a visit."
"Jang Choong Dong is located in a plaza that is hidden away from the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road. Now, you will say, I can see Kroger and La Fitness. That is true. However, if you go to the far right of LA Fitness, the plaza extends and this is where Jang Choong Dong is located. Unfortunately, you won't see the restaurant name as "Jang Choong Dong" but it is written in Hangul. While walking in, you get the feel of South Korea or what I see in kdramas and movies. You are greeted by a bunch of ajuhma and ajusshi. They are friendly but there is a little language barrier.I ordered the veggie pancake and kimchi tofu soup. There are not that many veggie options but I am always down for veggie pancake and kimchi tofu soup. It came not too long later. The pancake was fluffy. I didn't like the sauce that came with it too much cause it's salty. I put the pancake in my tofu soup though. It was deliciously spicy and sour! You get complimentary warm barley tea too. Ask for a glass of water if you want too.37/2021"
"I've been wanting to come here for a looooong time, but had no one to go with (jokbal can be intimidating to some people). I finally caved and bought a bossam/jokbal set to go, all for myself lol. It is honestly worth every penny; you get a TON of sides and goodies to wrap your meats with, and they're all very tasty. The bossam was saltier than I expected, but not bad--just wasn't what I was expecting. Jokbal was also very rich and full of flavor. I'm really enjoying this, even though the amount of food given may last me a week lol. Definitely bring a group and come here--it's a hidden gem that you won't regret going to."

So I really enjoy Korean bbq. I have tried several different one and I see this one. So super friendly staff - decent selections. We settled on the beef pork and veggies. I wanted the two diff all you can eat but I compromised lol. Now I will say this the food was fresh - but man it had no flavor at all. Like they had sauces on the side but even they weren't even that good. I was really disappointed and I was still hungry leaving. I was disappointed , very clean nice staff though but I prefer a little more flavor.

Finally made it out to Hankook Taqueria! It's definitely a bit off the beaten path and has free parking but not too many spots. Definitely a grungy looking place on the outside but stick with it!The menu here has a ton of protein options. The blackboard specials were recommended to me so I got the carne asada taco special and one beef bulgogi taco as a combo. The fries are chef's kiss and so good especially with the mildly spicy ketchup. Delish! Both tacos had so much protein and was nice - however, the carne asada taco left so much to be desired flavor and protein texture wise. It needed more oomph. I love blue cheese and all, but the fried tomato and dressing were a miss. The dressing was super thin and ran out the taco. However, the beef bulgogi was immaculate and couldn't be made better. Definitely redeeming. Coming back, I would try a different protein. My boyfriend got the beef bulgogi burrito and the rice here really hits. The rice to anything else ratio in the burrito is definitely off, but with the rice being as yummy as it is no complaints here! I most definitely will try the bowl here at some point. With the prices and flavor here, I was baffled paying for 2 people and having dinner be under $25 before tip? Definitely will be back and try other items on the menu!

Love the convenience and the spread at 9292. It's the best and healthiest hot pot option and I love to come here after a nice time at Jeju Spa. Only a few minutes down the road, this hot pot is a great all you can eat option with lots of variety. Upgrade and you can add some meats, otherwise there's plenty of veggies and seafood options for your choosing. There's also plenty of side dishes and sauces to concoct a dipping sauce for your nibbles. My family and I came right before closing and we were so grateful that they stayed open for us to clean house. We ate til we were stuffed and right before closing. It's a popular spot on the weekend and during peak hours. Highly recommend if you're looking for a healthy hot pot option.

Amazing five star review here for the asian twist on the southern bbq. The solution to all of your problems is to add kimchi in it!Heirloom market bbq is my fav restaurant in my entire trip to ATL. They have a tiny parking lot so expect to wait/fight for a space if you go during peak hours. You being to order online then you walk over to let the server know your order's name and it's prepared for you fresh. I guess they probably get a lot of online orders too so they only prep food as you arrive for pickup. There are umbrella'd standing dining tables and free water to refill as needed. My fav is their brisket, I can just eat this all day every day barring a potential heart attack.

5 Star Chicken! We ordered the original fried chicken & coleslaw. Server brought pickled cube radish. The place was well patronized. For obvious reasons. The chicken was hot, crispy, light, not oily and the meat is moist. The pieces were cut into good size. It wasn't too small that might dry out when double fried. I usually do not like chicken breast but this time, I ate it because it was super moist. The coleslaw was tangy and the cabbage had good crunch. I love coleslaw but I love it more when it's not drowning in mayo. This coleslaw had the right amount of mayo, sweet & tangy all at the same time. How do they do it?The pickled radish were cut to good cubes. I've had tiny cubes that didn't go well with chicken. The serving size of the radish was generous too.I loved what I had last night. Will be back for sure.

They had me at Kimbap! The variety of Kimbap options here is fantastic. The music, music video feels very clubby inside.Duluth seems to be the place to go for Korean food. It's a good sign when billboards are in Korean off of the freeway. It's located at a shopping plaza that has lots of Asian restaurants and eats and drinks too. Grab a menu and order at the counter and pay. Pager will be handed to you upon payment. Sit and wait for your order to be ready. Fire cheese Kimbap, fire tuna Kimbap, fire squid Kimbap and tteokbokki with an egg and two sides of kimchi. My husband wanted the rose tteokbokki, but it can't be made spicy at all. $44.50. They gave us our tteokbokki to cook for ourselves, great. Not why I go to a restaurant to cook for myself at all. Then again it's not bad cooking our own tteokbokki is that the rice cook was perfectly Al dente and not mushy and overcooked like most places. The sauce has a nice kick to it and foavoeThe fire squid is okay, a bit too rubbery for my liking, so not for me. The fire cheese roll was okay, nothing special for me. I get that American sliced cheese is a favored cheese for kimbaps, but it doesn't have a place in a Kimbap in the end. The fire tuna is by far the favorite and the best out of the 3 rolls. The side of cut kimchi is a bit more aged than I like, more kimchi jjiae ready, as such not fresh or crunchy. The pickled radish is good.

I was honestly not a fan of Gopchang on Fire because I just liked Hwangso Gopchang a lot better, but I recently gave this place a chance and I had to say I was impressed! Some impressive points that I noticed - they finally have the injeolmi powder! You have to ask for it separately but that's what really differentiated Hwangso over Gopchang on Fire so I was very impressed.I realistically want to give this place a 3.5 - the gopchang was very soggy and looked a bit old. Don't mind me bc I was in South Korea just a week ago eating very fresh gopchang but anyways, it just seemed off. I am also a fan of the circular daechang vs. Gopchang on Fire's daechang so there goes some points there.Overall though, it wasn't a bad dinner and the fried rice was really good as well. I especially really liked the soondubu stew. It had a lot of flavor and complimented the grilled meats. I think now I will go back and forth between the two joints now!

Thank you Blossom Tree for staying open a few mins after closing time so that I can grab dinner! I flew into Atlanta and this was the only place that was nice enough to take my order. I panicked ordered and went with the Beef Bibimbap with dumplings & sweet potatoes. My favorite was definitely the dumplings and sweet potatoes. I might've made a mistake on getting no sauce on the beef bibimbap because it didn't seem to be seasoned and it was on the drier end so a little hard to eat. Portion sizes were fairly large for the value, so that's a plus. I would definitely like to come back to try their other dishes next time I'm in town for work.
Visit Restaurant Page"This place seems to specialize in 순대 soondae.Things you should know:I. PARKING Moo Bong Ri is in the same plaza as the Super HMart (on the left side) and shares a massive, free public parking lot out front. There are plenty of available spaces. II. SERVICE Timely. As a party of two, we were seated promptly and without wait on a weekend night. They even brought out the food in a timely fashion. The waitress was kind to make recommendations when asked. III. QUALITY I personally like their Kimchi Jigae (김치찌개), here. The spicy broth is delicious! Their alcohol selection is standard and their 순대 plates are presented well. IV. CAPACITY Busy on weekends. You'll likely have to wait if your party is larger than 2 or if you want a table that allows BBQ. If reservations are possible on weekends, I recommend making them if timeliness is an important factor for you. 이곳은 순대를 전문으로 하는 것 같습니다. 알아야 할 사항:I.
"One of the only other places with the 8.99 special. 5 items to choose from. Had great service. I had the Ddaro gukbap (literally means soup and rice separately) and enjoyed it. That's the only one I tried but all of their food is probably good. Will return!"
"Shopping at HMart leaves you craving Korean food (duh), especially if you're buying things around lunch time. I got two of my favorite Korean dishes:Mul naengmyon: it's quite refreshing. Deliciously chewy noodles, though you do need to swish it and break it apart in the broth a bit before you dig in, which means the ball of noodles were lying around before they dunked broth on it. No big deal, just that actual restaurants usually give it to you fairly fresher. The broth is also not as "beefy" as some restaurants, but it'll hit the spot if you're craving it. They also give you some thick slices of beef, but overall low on the protein, which is the norm for this dish. Soondae: I was a little thrown off when I didn't see any seasoned salt on the side, but overall it was okay. Not the best I've had, but it's garlicky and will still hit your soondae craving. Overall, I'd say it's okay. BUT it's in a food court, the food comes out fairly quickly, and the ahjummas are nice and efficient. Let's bump it up a star because I know I'm not at an actual sit down restaurant. Solid joint for being in a grocery store."
"From most of my kbbq experiences, I'd say this was my favorite and I really enjoyed it here. I'm not sure if the time of the day visiting will affect the visit but I'll mention we came here at 2pm.My friend and I both got the AYCE B Package ($32.99 pp) since I don't eat pork and the B package had quite a few beef and chicken options. You can have 3 different kinds of meat cooking at a time from a rotating selection of like 10-11 on B Unlimited Side dishes included in the AYCE price: potato salad, kimchi, radish, fries, green onions, salad (I wish they had the typical dressing but it was mostly just vinegar like, rice cakes with fish cake (toppoki), japchae noodles, steamed egg, kimchi fried rice, tofu stew, and lettuce wraps. The sauces were okay it was like a honey mustard, red spicy, samjang, salt with sesame seeds. Refill bottles for the sauces are always around. With that said! I really enjoyed the bulgogi beef we got that twice, the beef cubes, and the beef short rib pieces. The meat is fresh, soft, and flavored nicely I literally had to refill on the potato salad because I love it Korean style oh mah gawww! Super good! Toppoki was really tasty so was the kimchi fried rice. I also kinda liked the small steel glasses for ice water felt like you're back home in Korea This place is really clean, the servers will cook the meat for you and separate them out, excellent customer service 5/5, they're pretty attentive. I will most definitely be back"
"We've ordered takeaway a few times and ate in house. Everything was delicious. Rice bowl and meals come with different little sides to offer variety. We love everything JC we've tried so far and I love the dressing on the salad. The donkatsu is a nice thick piece of pork, rather than being a pancake. The tteokbokki comes with big pieces of rice cakes, cabbage, fish cakes, and some noodles at the bottom. Grilled pork belly bowl had a great charcoal flavor. When we ate the rice bowls at the restaurant, it also came with a piece of rice cake, yum. Overall, delicious. The restaurant is basically self serve. You order at kiosk, get your water and utensils, pick up your meal and put away your tray when you're finished. The take out containers are also in the front of the store if you need them. The boss lady is super friendly too."
"Came here with our friends who RAVED about the large intestines. It was a weekday evening so there was no wait. Ambiance is casual and private. I loved all the private booths. Service was fast and friendly. They cooked everything for us and told us when it was ready. Came by to clean our grill often. We ordered several orders of the large intestine and seasoned large intestines. The unseasoned large intestines was fatty and when left to char, had a delicious crispness to it. Delicious when dipped in the trio of sauces provided. I was even a bigger fan of the seasoned large intestines as it was cut flat so it got even crispier. Similar taste to bacon without the high sodium. It IS very greasy- burst of fat so that can be a little off putting after a while. Everything paired well with the small variety of banchan which consisted of pickled daikon wraps, bean sprouts, sliced onions and chives. We also ordered kimchi fried rice which was just OK. Star if the show was definitely the intestines.Overall, delicious and different meal versus your usual Korean BBQ. Would return once my cholesterol levels recover. Haha"
"Han Il Kwan has become one of my go to Korean restaurants now. The food is fantastic, especially the galbitang and kimchi pancake, some of the best I've ever had. The pancake is so crispy and chewy, and the galbitang is fresh, clean, and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the bossam here, it was a good portion, the meat was juicy and I liked the lettuce wrap and radish it came with. The banchan here is so so and the service can be slow / it can be hard to get their attention sometimes even when it's not super busy but I think they don't have a lot of servers. Overall, some of the best Korean food I've tried in Atlanta."
"Overall 5/5: We always love CM Chicken and decided to check out this location closer to my boyfriends house. Did not disappoint, still up to the standards of all the other CM chickens i've visited. Food 5/5: We weren't too hungry so we both opted for the combo meal. It included your choice of chicken (wings, drums, or tenders), a side, some crispy rolls, the radishes (my fav!), and a drink. Great deal, nice little lunch. The perfect amount of food and variety. The chicken was crispy and sauced perfectly. The rice complimented well with the chicken, the flavor can be a lot without it. Service 5/5: Extremely friendly! The gentleman who helped us that day was super kind and happy to assist us. Vibe 5/5: This location was clean and casual. It had nice vibrant colors that were fun and added to the energy there. I really like this location, it had lots of seating. thank you, CM Chicken!"
"E X P E R I E N C E the moment I walked in, there were stares. every single person in here was older and korean. they all looked like they came here on lunch break from work nearbythis gave me high hopes bc if its all koreans, all speaking Korean to each other, then it must be authentic my food was ready within 20 mins of ordering F O O D la galbi 24.99: so good. there were 3-4 3bone pieces. the plate was still hot by the end of me eating (15 mins). comes w rice and 2 kimchi/cucumber sides. DELECTABLE. so flavorful. not spicy. well balanced. order first at the kiosk then choose a spot to sit when your food is ready, the number will appear overhead and your number will also be verbally called. pick up your foodonce you're done eating, return your tray to the tray rack!P A R K I N G ample parking spaces, fit for trucks as wellI N T E R I O R tables and seats immediately cleaned and organized after customers leave. very fast/food court style! plenty of seating for couples/groups of four and can accommodate one large group up to 127 tables for 43 tables for 6S E R V I C E none. no one greets you, speaks to you, smiles at you don't expect the American traditions hahaha but they're efficient that's for sureP R I C E 26.49"
"Now I have to say this, One particular day I came here I said why not, pay the extra $10 at $34.99 now and just get the dinner. Every option is available to you so why not?Now it got to the point where I was able to access the beef ribs (shaved). If you're expecting real bone in beef ribs it doesn't work that way. The beef from the ribs are shaved and marinaded and I must say, that meat was so good. You didn't even need any of the sauces they give you. They were perfect just the way they are. I also unlocked the garlic butter shrimp. The shrimp is a nice size but I think you nearly have to be a pro to peel those. I had a little trouble peeling them because it seems as though the shells were stuck on the shrimp. However once I did, the shrimp was really good! If you're not a good eater or just going to eat 2 helpings, don't pay that extra price because you will be wasting money. Afterwards you won't be able to justify why you spent $42 with tip included on a meal. The day I went, if It was Ala carte, I probably would have spent close to $70 on everything I had. The woman cooked for me 5 times. I never go there unless I'm really hungry and craving it. Word to the wise."
"The rosé ddeok-bokki is a must try! The sauce is like crack to my friend, and of course he introduced it to us... It's super creamy and flavorful. It's also great as a dipping sauce for the chicken. Don't waste good food! The Korean fried chicken here has a variety of flavors. Our favorite is the cheese one (cheeseling). Though it's super flavorful in taste, it's sooo good! The cheese powder is also very addictive...The golden original chicken is also very tasty and crunchy if you're going for simplicity. The sweet potato fries, coleslaw, and corn salad are also good side choices on the healthier end.I've eaten bb.q Chicken many times through friends ordering to-go, but this is the first time dining in. And having it fresh is sooo much better."
"My new go to fried chicken shop in the city!!!! Chicken is so crispy and juicy, owner is super friendly! We got the snow curry chicken and the monster cheese fries, everything came out fast and hot :) the chicken was so freaking good.. meat was so juicy and skin still crispy. The curry sauce was really good too. Perfect amount of spice and sweetness. Cheese fries were a miss, not very cheesy. I have had the snow curry from this and the other chicken shop at 10th st but this is better imo! The owner told me that this location is the original CM chicken from Korea (the other is not) so they use a very special batter and spice mix! So happy that this new shop opened up close to me, can't wait to go back!"
"For Brothers Day Out I let my little brother pick the restaurant. As his palate is diverse and he enjoys a variety of food I wasn't shocked when we ended up at Krave. Driving up to Krave, it is right off the Main Street so you can't miss it. Parking is limited as the lot itself is smaller so I would suggest carpooling if you're in a group. Upon walking in the ambiance is chill yet vibrant. There was an R&B Playlist playing which instantly caught my ear. The style of the decor is simple yet bold. LoL! Let me explain, simple in design, yet bold with the dominance of black as the color stands out with the all glass front and few pops of color. The menu hangs on the wall, I would have loved to have been able to review a paper menu opposed to keeping my neck at an angle while I reviewed the menu, however, there weren't any. As this was my first time at Krave it took me a few moments to fully capture the menu selections. I think my neck was mad at me. I decided on the Chicken Bulgogi Bowl - 12 oz chicken in fruit based soy sauce over rice... The dish is simple by design but elaborate in flavor. The profile fusion of the spice accompanying the fruit based soy sauce is absolutely mouth pleasing. The chicken was moist and flavorful and seasoned with a spice blend that fit the fusion theme of the bowl. The portion was perfect for the price and had enough for me to take some to go. If you're not into spice you can get the bowl regular. My little brother had it that way and enjoyed it as much as I did the spicy. The service is quick and efficient. The young lady at the register was nice and was able to answer the few questions we had. The restaurant was super clean. The tables weren't sticky and the floors were clean as well. Good Food. Clean Environment. Great Playlist. I will definitely be back to Krave for another Chicken Bulgogi Bowl."
"The rosé topokki... You MUST get the rosé version when you're here. It's seriously sooo good. My friend was eating this like crack. And it goes well as a dipping sauce too! Plus, it's apparently the thing in Korea. The other items we shared were also tasty like the ramen with all its flavors. The kimbap, fish cake skewers, and rice bowl were of typical quality. The basket of fried pieces of squid, seaweed rolls, shrimp, and other things had a good variety to try.Although this place looks casual, they try to make it fancy by bringing the food to you and clearing the tables. Around dinner time, this little spot can get filled.Kukga Topokki is a solid spot for Korean sweet food. And of course a great place for rosé topokki. Korean food to me could be just okay at times. Some restaurants are even undistinguishable from another. Kukga Topokki does it well somehow, perhaps offering the rosé topokki. Seriously, at this point if you're tired of me mentioning it. It being rosé. Get it. It's good."
"Alright, it's time for me to discuss my #1 place to eat, I just don't want to hurt any feelings because there are so many great spots that I love that are ran by great people!! With that being said...I can't say enough good things about Big Sisters - they are my absolute favorite food spot at the moment. Every single dish I've tried has been unbelievably delicious. Whether it's their flavorful platters or their hearty bowls, this Korean food impresses me in every way. The rich, authentic flavors and the perfect balance of spices make each bite an experience. I've converted several friends to this amazing spot, and they all agree that it's the best Korean food they've ever had. The moment you step in, you can smell the incredible aromas and feel the welcoming atmosphere. I suggest you try their ribs, their beef bulgogi, their teriyaki chicken, their... just try them all!! Ooh oh, their LA Galbi is If you're ever ready to try the best Korean food around, let me know. I'd love to join you with a bowl of their mouth-watering ribs. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! #Rolieats #Foodie #KoreanFood #BigSisters #Yum #MustTry"
"Visiting in Atlanta and wanted to try another fried chicken place. Had tried Gus' already. Wasn't expecting to try Korean style but glad we did. Four of us thought the chicken was delicious...nicely fried and juicy (even the white meat). We also tried their green salad (cabbage and corn with a 1000 Island-type dressing), Kimchee mac and cheese (not to our liking), and the Korean corn (kernels with mozzarella cheese). Didn't get a pic of our 1/2 bird before we chowed at it. For the Taiwan Beer, this was the least favorite version that we tried (mango and lychee were great tasting). The establishment itself was simple, with some bench seating and regular chairs around tables, black walls and a couple of tvs.You order at the counter and the menu is clearly displayed on the wall. The cashier was cheerful and welcoming. It wasn't long for our order to come up and the chicken was piping hot. We chose the honey garlic sauce, which was like the Asian take of syrup (a bit too much on the sweet side). It's definitely a place to go try when you're over there. Yum!"
"We came here specifically for the jjajangmyeon 짜장면. Everything was family-style in size so we ordered 4 dishes and shared amongst the table. Nothing was disappointing. Things you should know:I. PARKING Man Chun Hong is within a small plaza off Buford Highway and shares a free private parking lot with the adjacent businesses. It can get pretty crowded on the weekend II. SERVICE Kind and considerate. Our host gave us seating options and the server was good about filling up our waters. III. QUALITY Great..! The portions are huge with everything we ordered so family style is the move here. IV. CAPACITY Fairly busy for a Saturday evening, but the food still comes out at a reasonable time."
"Came here with family after receiving a raving recommendation from our hair salon which we were at prior to coming here right across the street. What a fantastic meal! We ordered Budae Steak for 3 and Korean pancakes. We were under the impression that the Budae Steak came with a bowl of the Budaejigae (Korean Army Stew) but we were sadly mistaken. After finishing the majority of the meat and Korean pancakes we asked our waiter when the Budaejigae was coming out as we would have enjoyed it with the meal, but were told that it was simply called Budae Steak and did not come with Budaejigae. Bummer, so we ordered a single serving of Budaejigae. The owner came out later and apologized for the confusion and comped us a bowl of Budaejigae which was a very kind gesture. The stew was excellent as well though it was very spicy which was nice but we noticed there is an option for a milder version which we may order next time.Sides were fresh and delicious which adds to the ambiance of the restaurant as well which felt like a home cooked Korean meal. Service was very friendly and excellent ad well. They have a call button which we used a few times and the server came and gave us great service. Parking was easy as the restaurant parking lot is shared with the Assi Plaza and neighboring restaurants. I can see myself returning here in the future and recommend them highly.5 solid Stars and two thumbs up! Thank you for a wonderful meal."
"This is the newest self service, kiosk, cafeteria style Korean soup shop to help with the disgruntled overflow from a similar place in the area.Plenty of seating, with a large, casual style dining hall that is beautifully decorated like a hanok village. The dishes to order here are spicy or mild cold noodles. They also have meat side combos available.Their hot soups are decent, but I recommend their cold noodle specialty.Their mandu are also very popular."
"The service here is impeccable. We came at 2:58pm, asked for and was given the lunch special (that ends at 3pm), and were seated immediately with drinks and sides/sauces coming 15 seconds after we were seated. I'd ask for extra sides like lettuce or kimchi, and they would come in 5 seconds. They allow requests of 2 proteins at a time. A smart business decision. The first two servings of protein are about twice as big as the consequent requests for proteins. I asked for pork belly as the 4th protein request and they literally gave me 2 half-slices of pork belly. As for the food, it ranges from good to mid. The meat itself seemed not that fresh. The marinade and sauces hide a lot of it, though, and I came in pretty ravenous, so I didn't mind it too much. I would skip the corn cheese (corn was way too chewy, signaling it was old) and Korean fried chicken (they were just chicken nuggets, not crispy at all). The 4 proteins we ordered were spicy beef bulgogi, beef brisket, spicy chicken, and Hawaiian pork belly. Brisket didn't look too fresh when they brought it out, and see the above comment about pork belly. The other two tasted great though, no complaints. We also ordered the virgin strawberry delight and virgin trop pop mocktails. Definitely skip those unless you love drinking sugar water. They were way too sweet and artificial-tasting. It's disappointing because the concept of mocktails at a kbbq place excited me, but I guess I shouldn't have had my expectations so high?Bottom line: this place just excels at service. I've never had more attentive service at a kbbq restaurant. The price is also a ridiculously good deal for the lunch special AYCE. Even when we were done eating and said we didn't want any more protein, the server still came by and asked if we needed anything else like every 5 minutes. And in between, the server kept passing by and looked over at us when he was going to serve other tables, just to make sure we were still fine.We left in 45 minutes. We just inhaled food and left. Would experience it again."
"This might be our new sushi spot!! Great customer service and great prices. We ordered takeout and was asked to have a seat while we waited. Casual izakaya style seating. They brought us water and even a scoop of ice cream for each of us while we waited - an unexpected kind gesture. We ordered 1 sashimi and udon bento to go. It was $22 and huge. Fish was fresh and lots of additional items like unagi and tempura. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to return."
"With plenty of Korean BBQ restaurants popping up in Duluth, 9292 Korean BBQ has been one of my favorites. I initially thought 9292 Gopchang was the same restaurant but noticed it was actually a separate restaurant. They offer the same menu as the 9292 Korean BBQ restaurant, along with an interesting "gopchang" menu - aka, intestines. The restaurant wasn't super busy on a weeknight - and I wonder if this is a better option than the original 9292 Korean BBQ restaurant to avoid the long wait for a table. We were feeling adventurous so we decided to try just an order of the Gopchang with a "normal" combo for 2 people. The quality of the meat was just as good as usual. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the Gopchang. It was super chewy even after cooking for a good 10 minutes. I'm used to it being crispier, so the chewy consistency was off-putting.Our server was there where when we needed him and also made himself scarce when we were just doing our own thing chatting and eating and drinking. Speaking of drinking, we made sure to order some soju and Hite, the best way to enjoy Korean BBQ!Overall, if I'm trying to avoid the busy lines of the typical good KBBQ spots, I'll definitely need to keep 9292 Gopchang in mind. However, I may not order the Gopchang again while I'm here."
"Run. Do not walk. Go early. They run out of their great food. This spot is very small. They cannot entertain large groups. We saw a party of 12 try to get seated. A takeout/call ahead situation. Delicious. One time is not enough."
