Hot pot was flavorful and the broth felt much more loaded (料足) than china hot pot. But the sauce station wasn't that impressive and the overall was quite expensive (200$+ for 2)."

We ordered that alongside the black pepper chicken and the noodles as a side. All of our food was perfectly fresh, and a great choice. Keep in mind that although the black pepper chicken is not fried, it is cooked in oil and not a perfectly healthy choice."

I wanted to order 4 chicken wings and French fries, but they didn't have that on the menu. I order chicken Lo mein and egg rolls. It took a while for my food to come out, I'm not sure why, so we waited in the. We waited in the restaurant. The restaurant definitely needs some cleaning. lots of spider webs. The window glass was dirty. I think the owners of the shopping center where Eddie's is located are not doing a good job with maintaining it in general because the air conditioning wasn't working well or at all. It wasn't just Eddie's, the other establishments in the shopping center as well. I got food to go. It was very tasty. The staff which was a man and a woman they were pleasant as needed to be. I am so particular about Indian food but this avakai tasted exactly like the one we eat at home. The taste is SO worth the price. This biryani is so ridiculously delicious. My only note would be, the chicken is boned so you don't get too much food for the money you pay but trust me the taste is worth it. It seemed I wasn't the only one stuck with this option as they were pretty busy...busier than I've seen.Parking was kinda messy because they have a very small lot behind the building and they were pretty much full, including douchebags they decided to park in two spaces, causing people to make their own spots/block in others. Not this place's fault so no stars lost for same.Menu - the menu was really boring and typical "wings and rice" combos that are all over ATL. They had a sign up of a list of items they no longer carry, which seemed longer than the list they do.The cashier was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The value for the money wasn't terrible, but it was just average. Nothing to rave about. Nothing to complain about. Will I go again? I won't make it a point to do so. They have a great variety of dishes, but I especially love their wings, general tsos chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls and soups. The wings are crispy and juicy, the chicken dishes are tender and coated with delicious sauces, the egg rolls are crunchy and stuffed with veggies, and the soups are rich and hearty. The chicken soup even helped my daughter get over a cold, so it must have some magic in it!The service is also excellent. They are fast, friendly, and attentive. I ordered online and picked up my food in no time. Plus, I got a nice surprise when I found out that I qualified for 2 free sodas because my order was over $20. This business is part of a chain, and this location is in Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center, near the end of the strip mall. Parking may be challenging, especially during weekday lunch hours. The hostess greeted us immediately when we entered there restaurant, which can seat a lot of people at the many tables in the dining area, while some customers can sit at the bar. Our server came by take our orders. This was the only time that he was attentive, and the service went downhill from there. We both ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered the twice cooked pork lunch special which has cabbage, mushrooms and bell peppers, and came with fried rice and a fried vegetable spring roll. R ordered cashew chicken lunch special which has bell peppers, also having the fried rice and spring roll. Our meals also came with soup; I ordered hot and sour and R ordered egg drop.Strange thing that I noticed while we were waiting for our food. Tables of customers who arrived and ordered after us got their food before we did. When we finally were served, our server apologized for the slow service. Throughout the entire time we were in the restaurant, I overheard our server telling customers at tables near ours, "I'm sorry for the slow service." However, the slow service only affected him and all of his customers. No other servers or food service were delayed. Odd ...Our food was good, as expected with Americanized Chinese food. I enjoy different textures in my food, as long as they're the expected textures, like crunchy cooked cabbage and slightly firmed sautéed bell peppers that were in my twice cooked pork dish. The fried rice was ok, as was the spring roll, which was just warm in temperature. My hot and sour soup was missing the spiciness, but, otherwise, tasted good. R said that his food overall was ok.Lunch specials prices at this Chin Chin location are higher than another Chin Chin location that we visit more often, and, still comparing the two locations, the food portions are a little bigger at this location. I like the decor at this location, though."

Delivery times are usually pretty accurate, but we have had our food arrive in less than 20 minutes on occasion. We usually have a saved order for this place that consists of Sweet and Sour Chicken, House Fried Rice, Wonton Soup and either Egg Rolls or Dumplings (fried or steamed). All items are always hot and in good sized portions upon arrival. This place is one of my few Chinese delivery places I will use in the Brookhaven area due to their Wonton soup - its legit some of the tastiest amongst delivery places in this area! They still use a chicken broth based soup versus a beef base, which makes a huge difference - you never really think about how important the broth choice is until you end up with a cloudy bowl of brown broth and broken wonton noodles on a night when wonton soup is all but the only thing on your mind! With that being said, I have found two places in my delivery zone that treats my wonton soup right, so I treat them right...and one of them happens to be this place!Price point is around the same as all the other places in the area, but their delivery minimum is only $10 compared to some of the other places that boast a $20 minimum. Most of the entrees are priced around $10, with the apps and soups being between $2 - $8. A solid value for sure. The poo poo platter is no longer existent here but they still have the sizzling rice soup!I had my expectations lowered walking in, just due to the age of this place. We all huddled into a table. The menus are underneath the glass on the table, so very convenient! Not sure why other places don't do this during the Pandemic. We all started with hot tea, sizzling rice soup, pot stickers and crab rangoons. The sizzling rice brought back memories and it really does sizzle when they put it into the soup (they do it at your table). I believe it's an oil they put in there? Very good! I used to get Mongolian Beef when I came here as a child or Sweet N Sour chicken, but wanted to try this (love the orange chicken at Panda Express now). Holy Cow with a side of Hot Dang-Diggity! Feeling a bit lucky after finding a couple of hidden gems over the past month or two, we decided to try our luck again at Canton. I assumed $2, but I was told $5, so I left the veggie off.We both agreed that the winner of the flavors here were the Roasted pork with mixed veggies. Slightly spicy, savory and the pork was not chewy. Well done large chunks of onion, bell pepper, green beans, broccoli, green squash and cabbage. I also feel that this was a better dish the next day. The General Tso's Chicken on the other hand was chewy, sometimes dry, and had an almost plastic taste to it. Neither of us finished this because it completely missed the mark.Located off of Peachtree road in the Publix shopping center with the Barnes and Nobles bookstore, parking is shared in this lot and you're really not going to have trouble finding a spot. The issue will be will it be in front of Canton. It took me a few minutes to look at everything on the menu, and, even after doing that, I still didn't have a clue of what I wanted. It had been a while since I ordered a hot pot anywhere, and that's what I decided to order. Credit cards are accepted, and there is a sign at the counter that states a 3.5% convenience fee will be added.I ordered Beef and Vegetable Hot Pot, at a medium spice level. In hindsight, I really should've ordered mild, because while I was eating medium spicy, my sinuses drained, my tongue went numb, and (in my mind) even the plain, steamed white rice tasted spicy! Nonetheless, my hot pot was served less than 5 minutes after I ordered it, and the employee brought the food in a wok, placed it on a stand on my table and lit a candle in the stand that was used to keep my hot pot hot, like boiling hot, for a while. This delicious hot pot was packed with cuts of tender beef, slices of zucchini, tofu, cabbage, chopped up cilantro, and glass noodles. I suggest that anyone getting any of the hot pots stir everything before eating so you can have a great mix of ingredients throughout your meal. I was offered steamed white rice, hot tea and water, all unlimited and available at the counter. At the end of the meal, leave everything there and someone will come by to clean everything up.In addition to a very filling meal, which easily could've been shared, quick, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable service is what I got here. I will definitely return for future meals at China Kitchen. If hot pots are not your thing, China Kitchen also serves up dim sum and vegetable dishes. I still don't have a favorite Chinese restaurant outside of my home Maui where I grew up, but this has been the closest to that. However, I was recently disappointed a few weeks ago with a takeout experience. I ordered for my family and I: Lemon pepper wings and fries, roast pork chow mein, Mu Shu Pork, which came with a side (I chose the house fried rice), and spring rolls. I ordered online through their website and came to pickup the order. At first, the girl who greeted me pleasantly could not find my order by name. She eventually did, so that wasn't a problem. It was a short wait and everything was packaged securely as usual which I appreciate. I had placed a late order, so by the time I got home they were closed. It wasn't until then I realized that they basically gave us roast pork and veggies over rice, not chow mein as ordered and paid for. We still ate everything, of course, as it was too late to do anything about it. All the food was excellent, so that was not the problem either. The next day was storming horrendously, so there was a flash flood warning, and we couldn't go anywhere. Tried calling the store, but no one would pick up throughout the day. We followed up the day after, my husband and I, explaining the situation and showing the picture and verifying with the receipt that we got the incorrect dish. My husband said that the worker he spoke to claimed that we had indeed received the correct dish, and that is how they serve it - without noodles. This would have been fine except for the fact that their menu actually says they do serve all the lo mein and chow mein dishes with noodles. I have also never had lo mein or chow mein dishes without the noodles. I feel that there may have been more to this, but at the end of the day it came off as just not wanting to admit error and trying to get over on a customer who might not know any better. I just don't see why they would say they don't serve noodles in a dish when their menu clearly states they do. That's also the main reason I ordered Chinese that night, because I was craving chow mein. Don't get me wrong, I still would order from here, and the food usually tastes great, but not getting what you paid for and false or misleading advertisement is never a good feeling. Not sure where I can get the chow mein I was expecting now, but I guess I'll have to keep looking. Just be aware in case you are expecting the same and don't get what you hoped for."
