Our waiter, Ricky, was fast and efficient and made great recommendations. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was the best I have eaten in Atlanta! My husband ordered the special, butternut squash ravioli with fried lobster. We also ordered calamari for an appetizer which was tasty. They also served complimentary cubed foccaccio which I thought was an interesting touch. Next time I am back, I will try dessert! This is a lovely place for date night or an evening with family. I would recommend reservations online as it is a small, intimate restaurant."

"I ordered noodles with cream sauce and chicken to go. The cream sauce didn't have much flavor. I had to add salt and pepper. The noodles were good. The chicken seemed like it came out of a freezer. I would have preferred a fresh chicken breast grilled and sliced. Service was friendly and it looked like a nice place to dine at."

"I came here for my birthday dinner. Out of the lists of Italian restaurants, I landed on Sotto Sotto because of one specific dish. The Costoletta arlla Parmagiana. Yes, sign me up!Getting here wasn't too bad, but the parking was kind of confusing. If you're looking to park for yourself, there's a parking lot that you can park by yourself and the restaurant is right across the street. The street is off of Elizabeth St NE. So, I would definitely recommend to just park in that parking lot as it's easier than driving around and finding street parking. The restaurant doesn't validate parking, so keep that in mind. You will pay on the way out. The other option is parking valet, which is personal preference. The amount of walking in comparison is really not a huge distance.Walking in, it's a very cozy type of experience and atmosphere. The kitchen is small, they have a patio seating and also inside. There was a lot of staff when I visited. We ordered the charcuterie for starters. It was alright, I don't think it was worth the price as I think you could make a better charcuterie by buying meats and cheeses from Costco. It was just 3 tiny pieces of cheese, some mushrooms (which were the most flavorful), and a few meats. Also, the bread was limited as well, I didn't ask for more because I felt as if it would have been extra charge. For my main, as I said before, I got the Costoletta arlla Parmagiana. It's a breaded pan fried veal and then on top a tomato sauce along with some mozzarella. Yeah, if you can picture it, then you can taste it. It was good. It had flavor every bite, and it was filling. I would definitely recommend this dish if you're not looking to eat pasta. For dessert, we ordered their version of Tiramisu, the Dolce Al Mascarpone. It was alright. I think it was a bit small, and it was mostly all cream. Again, it doesn't beat a good tiramisu, but it wasn't bad. Overall, Sotto Sotto wasn't a bad experience. I enjoyed my main dish, however I think they fell flat for me when it came to the appetizer and the dessert. I did also get to try the clams that my wife was, and that was alright. I didn't have any of her pasta though so I can't say anything to that."

"What a delicious experience. I've been visiting this place since 2012 when I first took my now wife on a date here. I still get the exact same dish and more than 11 years later it still tastes amazing. I always get the springer mountain fried chicken meal. What a satisfying dish. Fried chicken over a bed of mashed potatoes and collard greens. The service from the staff is always impeccable."

"To add on to my original review, this location is not selective about your attire. It's come as you are, distressed denim and all. This adds to the appeal for me. When I want to dress up, I'm not out of place and when I want to dress down, I'm not out of place. Win/win. The managers Chris and Michael are Amazing! Servers Kenneth, Josh, and Asia are top tier. Cannot go wrong here!"

"Very nice hidden gem in Hapeville. Street Parking and there is also a parking lot. I went to Volare with coworkers for dinner...it was a great choice. Excellent customer service...Yummy appetizers and food. We had all of the appetizers on the menu ...ALL yummy even the mussels. Sorry no pics of the appetizers...we were hungry lol I had Tetrazzini Pasta with Salmon. Delicious Perfect atmosphere for an after work dinner and drinks. They have a good wine and beer selection. It was a bit hazy inside and I think that was because of the kitchen. Overall experience Enjoyed myself"

"My family and I decided to go to Kiosco on a whim to start our weekend off as the reviews were great and the food looked delicious. This originally was a Cuban restaurant, but it has since changed and they now serve Mediterranean cuisine. A lot of people recommended making a reservation and I recommend you to as well as it's a super small spot.Although the restaraunt is small, the space is so quaint and cute. They have a small bar in which you can sit at, along with regular seating. The space has low lights at night for dinner and really was a relaxing ambiance. On arrival, our table wasn't ready yet, but we were seated at the bar I. Which we could order drinks and appetizers while we waited. The party we were waiting on took a bit longer than the staff expected and they were very accommodating. They made sure to check in with us and even provided us an appetizer on the house. We really appreciated the customer service. Although we waited, we didn't mind because the staff made sure we were well taken care off and really provided exceptional customer service throughout the whole night. Now let's get on to the food and drinks. Everything was absolutely amazing!!! I can't stress how good everything we had was. The appetizer we had was the mezzo trio which had a beetroot humus, roasted red pepper feta, and tzatziki with house made pita bread. The roasted red pepper feta was the star of the table. We also ordered the spanakopita which was like a creamed spinach filling with ooey gooey cheese and was delicious. I could go on and on about each dish in detail, but I'll spare y'all lol. Just know it was all great and you can't go wrong with anything. I loved my pulled beef! It was so tender and seasoned very well. The drinks were also delicious and everyone enjoyed their drinks. The pink lady drink was refreshing. The espresso martini, you could tell they made the espresso fresh and was a great night cap to end my meal.Price wise it was a bit pricey as it all added up, but definitely worth it. I definitely will be back as I'd love to also try their breakfast one day."

"Osteria Mattone is a real standout from the many restaurants on Canton Street. The food is exquisite and their fresh bread is like manna from heaven. Easy check in with hostess who lead us to a high top table, as we did not have reservations. Service was quick and prompt. The Ambiance of the place is good, but looks like a converted house giving it an overall homey feel.We dined during restaurant week and took advantage of the fixed price $35 (2024 price) meal. This included Polpette (meatballs), Tagiloline Bolognese, and Caramellato desert. All were good with Tagiloline Bolognese being my favorite. Other choices are available. Large portion and had leftovers too. We also looked at the normal menu which was slightly more expensive but still reasonable for the value.Valet parking is available. Parking around here can be a hassle, but we parked at the large free lot off of Green Street, which is short stroll to Osteria Mattone. Also dined at their sister restaurant Table and Main, see separate review."

"While I lived in the DMV, City Winery (Ivy City) was my go to for vino & live music. Back in Atlanta many year later - the 4th Ward has surprised me.The industrial backdrop venue provides a dim lighted & warm ambience with exposed brick, vintage lighting & wine barrels throughout. The lounge space boasts a stage, various table/seating options, an elevated bar encompassing a very lively & social atmosphere. The friendly service team moved at a good pace & in a synchronous fashion. Even amongst the tight spaces between tables. There's little room once you're seated & you have to turn your body/neck to see the performances. I understand maximizing ticket sales, yet stage the tables for the patrons to be comfortable while enjoying their meal & live performances. Suggestive budget around $120 per person for live music, food (limited for Vegetarians/Vegans) with a nuances of wines, beers/ciders, crafted cocktails & mocktails.Easy navigation on the website to view events & purchase tickets. Ticket prices varies with fees are around $14. Ponce City has abundant fee parking (app & kiosk payments), mostly in the parking decks. Valet parking is available right in front of the venue. Follow the signs (Security provided directions when we visited) to go upstairs for check-in/will call & you'll be guided to the venue."

He was so delightful and accommodating, and just a joyful presence. The food, oh my word. We are on a journey to find the best steakhouse in ATL, and oh my, the running is tight! We've had some phenomenal steaks & NY Prime did not disappoint!! All things considered, it was reasonably priced too...!!!"

I was in town for a few days getting some writing done and decided to stay in Marietta. My friend who lives in Atlanta suggested we meet up for dinner at Mezza Luna and so we made a reservation.Last minute she had to cancel but I was still hungry (a girls gotta eat) so made sure to order some take out. There's a reason that this place is called the best Italian in the state of Georgia. The pasta here is fresh and even though I didn't die in the in, the decor is quaint and feels like old world Italian. Definitely a cool spot to take a date for a romantic dinner.I ordered takeout directly through the Yelp app and then drove the 15 minutes over to the restaurant. Food was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. A full order of the papardelle bolognese, which is one of the most popular dishes, fed me for 2 days. And it was delicious. I mean you really can't beat fresh pasta. It was tender and delicate. The sauce is flavorful and well seasoned and came with just the right amount of additional parmesan and fresh herbs. They also provided a piece of their focaccia bread to go with my order. The bread was very soft and a little bit doughy to my liking but definitely was a nice addition when toasted a bit.Next time I'm in the area I fully intend to dine in to get the full experience.

I loved the atmosphere here and was happy we had a table outside. Our server was awesome, always attentive but not intrusive. We started out with a glass of Pinot Noir, which was a nice pour. The menu has a lot of choices, but a lot of entrees had mushrooms which I don't like. I started with a Caesar salad. We also ordered bread for the table at $3, which was good. What I really liked was that the server didn't take our entree order until we were done with our salads. I don't like when my entree is brought while I am still eating my salad so this was perfect. The Caesar salad was very good. For my entree I got the tagliatelle bolognese. The food came quickly and looked great. Was it the best I ever had? No.....but it was ok. I think the noodles were a little over done and I would have liked more sauce. I am the sauce queen. Overall, nice experience with good service.

super delicious italian food! definitely make a reservation before coming as they book up quickly for good reason. we sat outside on the courtyard which had fans to cool you down. we started with the tagliere di salumi (salami board) with foccacia and the bietole e rucola (beet & arugula salad). i loved the variety on the salami board and the foccacia was delicious. for mains we got the lasagnette alla bolognese and the branzino. we both lovedd our entrees. the pasta is made in house for the lasagnette. even though we were stuffed we managed to devour the zuppa di cioccolato (chocolate soup) for dessert with some pistachio gelato. the pistachio gelato wasnt our fav but the chocolate soup was very creative and hit the spot. our waiter richie was great we loved him.

Family dinner! We were seated right away on the patio. Our sever was friendly and but seemed really busy so was not very attentive so there were periods where we had to wait for long periods to get help. Food portions were generous and well prepared. Pricing was reasonable. We shared an order of the Gouda fritters based on our server's recommendation and she did not lead us wrong. Crispy outside and creamy in the middle. The she crab soup was good but I'm used to seeing a few crab lumps for garnish but not in this instance. My favorite entree was the fried chicken but the pork chop is also a good option. The creamed corn was top notch. Overall a good meal and worthy of a return visit.

What an amazing experience. Came here on date night with the wife after having this place on our list for over a year. FYI, dress code is strictly enforced, it was a blazer night for me, and a sexy, elegant outfit from the wife. Our reservation was for 8:30 p.m. and that was a great time to get there. Valet parking is $10 and the restaurant is on the eighth floor with a nice view of the city as you're elevated to the restaurant.I checked in at the counter, and we were seated within 2 to 3 minutes. Our waiter. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and very attentive. Based on our experience with Michael alone we will definitely be back.My wife started with an espresso martini and I had the sweet water IPA beer as we browse the menu to indulge our pallets and some epicurean delights. Appetizer: Lobster and crab cake.Entrée : South African lobster fried. FYI, this lobster can be prepared fried, grilled or butter braised.I had the Double Cut Lamb Ribs (4). OH MY GOD, these are definitely by far the best lamb I have ever eaten. I had mine prepared, medium well light pink in the middle, completely tender, completely juicy and if I was not in a restaurant setting I'll probably suck the bones dry.Shareable: these food options come à la cart, so we decided to share some lobster mac & cheese and the soy glazed brussels sprouts minus the bacon (we don't eat bacon). Listen here, you cannot go wrong with an elegant date night option where the food is also a generous amount and taste absolutely delicious. When you take a bite and you immediately look at your spouse across the table and y'all give each other that iContact and your facial expression changes because you're endorphins have just kicked in because the food in your mouth is sending signals all over your body , you know y'all made the right choice for date night. Well will be back. Price: $231 + $50 tipGREAT NIGHT

Oh em geee!! I finally was able to make it to this place and it did not disappoint. First thing first... Staff was amazing. I love a friendly staff from host, server, bar, food runner and cooks. The wine selection has something for everyone. The food was delicious. Everything on the menu was something I would want to try. The appetizers were so filling. I came with my mother who has lived in Hapeville all her life and so have her parents & their parents but she has never gotten to enjoy what the area has to offer. She felt comfortable and was so impressed with this place. I was as well & most definitely will be back. I had two glasses of wine, my mom had one and we shared 2 apps & a dessert for about $70. Not bad.Definitely recommend for after work, dinner date or self care date.

This is my second time here. I did not try the food, but from what I saw it looked amazing. Both times I interacted with the staff they were amazing!! The bartender remembered our orders from the first time we were here a few nights ago. Very impressed! I will definitely come back when in town! Definitely check this place out!

"Luckily stumbled upon this restaurant over the weekend. It sits downtown on the far north end of Canton Street, still easily walkable from downtown area.Has an upscale, yet casual vibe with both indoor and outdoor dining. Beautiful bar area as well. Menu has a good variation of items, yet I felt that it was overall a tad bit pricey. I had the Panko crusted chicken served on mashed potatoes, my wife had their burger. My dish was great, however, my wife's burger was definitely not cooked medium but instead medium-well, so the burger was devoid of any juiciness.Service was great and we will definitely try them again sometime."

"We found this restaurant on Yelp since it has such amazing reviews!! The reviews don't lie!! This restaurant is as amazing as it sounds. We started with complimentary bread which was served hot and soft. Right then I knew our experience would be a positive one! Everyone at our table of 6 enjoyed their meals. I ordered the Lasagna and it was a perfect portion of deliciousness. I would highly recommend it! The dishes here are a bit more expensive then other Italian restaurants but the quality of the food and complimentary bread make up for it. The restaurant is also very modern looking. They truly care about making your dining experience special. I highly recommend trying this restaurant! Our server was super sweet and made the toddlers of our table a priority."

"My date and I came to Vin 25 for dinner on a beautiful Spring night and the scenery was absolutely idyllic like a storybook setting. Vin 25 is located in downtown Roswell, tucked away on Plum Street and it is quaint and really nice for outdoor dining. There was virtually no one sitting inside considering it was such a nice sunny evening and they also have heating lamps once it gets chilly. We started with cocktails--he had the old-fashioned and I had the pink panther which was very strong, tart, and fruity with Mezcal liquor. For an appetizer, we had the pimento cheese fritters with red pepper jelly and I highly recommend it, super delicious. I had the salmon and he had the hanger steak and both were wonderfully plated with a perfect blending of ingredients and tasted delectable. If you haven't already been to Vin 25 definitely check it out! It is a gem hidden in Roswell."

"So this place was pretty dope!We got sat immediately, and the service was super nice. The owners family was there eating so we actually got to talk to them as well, and they gave some great suggestions as well as general conversation. I had the chicken shawarma, hummus, and a cookies and cream type dessert (not what you are thinking it would be though). The shawarma was great! It wasn't like back in MI, but it was solid. It was flavorful and plenty of a good portion size. The hummus was really good too! I would have dipped my finger in it if it wasn't frowned upon lol. The dessert, it was unorthodox... but at the end of the day it was delicious af! It was a cream based dessert, ice cream and cookies! I am not a fan but I would have ordered another if I wasn't already satisfied lol. When in the area, I would definitely and hands down come back."

"Absolutely amazing restaurant. I took my friend here for her birthday dinner. Just a small little something. Restaurant is beautifully decorated. Not really big inside. Very intimate just the way I like it. The staff was so nice and very informative. The manager and my waiter gave a lot of great information. This is a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant. So small plates with a peck big flavor. My friend and I shared everything and here's what we got. * Calamari, lamb, chops, chicken, empanadas, shrimp, paella, two cocktails each (one Prado, daisy, and one trader's share each) and finished up with the butter toffee cake. So we got all that food and 4 drinks for $140. I highly recommend checking this place out. I know they also have another location that has just opened out towards North Druid Hills area. I definitely give this a 10 out of 10!"

"I can't believe this was our first visit to L'Thai when we live mere minutes away. The restaurant is located a few blocks deep in the West Village complex, with some street parking and free covered parking just around the corner from the restaurant. Inside, the space was quiet and even serene when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon. I was surprised to see that the fried calamari was listed as gluten-free on the menu, since most breaded seafood isn't. While tasty, the batter was a little crumbly and my husband, who prefers his calamari on the smaller side, was a little weirded out by what he called "the big, juicy squid rings". The serving size was less than what we would have preferred, but given the price, it's all right as a starter. Our entrees were where L'Thai shined. The husband's pad woon sen was tasty - hot, well-seasoned glass noodles with good hunks of chicken throughout. While his dish was great, we both agreed my order of the yellow crispy chicken reigned supreme at the table - a crispy filet of chicken breast atop a fragrant, vegetable-specked puddle of yellow curry. The fresh (gluten-free) coating stayed crisp as I dragged happy spoonfuls of rice through the sauce until every last drop was consumed. As an added plus, our meal ended up being far cheaper than we expected it would. The menus don't currently have prices because the owners are in the midst of reprinting them. Our server offered to let us know exact prices if we needed, but we decided this would be a fun guessing exercise. When we got the check, our jaws dropped at how economical our meal had been, especially given the taste and the sublime service we'd received. Side note: There's a funny dress code here of no gym shorts or sports wear. I haven't seen it enforced, but there's clear signage out front and figured you should know if visiting."

"Beautifully masculine wine bar. Good service. Fun wine flights to suit all tastes. The margarita flight requires a designated driver. :) The hanging bacon flight with dippers is otherworldly and maybe the most indulgent and guilty pleasure I've had in a while. The lobster mac makes me feel things. On one hand, it's an outrage that you just get one tiny piece of lobster atop the macaroni and cheese; on the other hand, it's the single most decadent bite you may ever have. Check out the weekly pairings menu on their Instagram profile. Invite me to go to dinner with you here, and I will say yes."

"This place is the only place I go to in the Battery. In general, the Battery has great offerings but I tend to not like the overly crowded spots and lack of good parking.CRU is an excellent option (on non-game days) for after work happy hours. The wine selection is top notch. The bites they offer for food is good (not overly delicious or a meal portion but good to nibble on).Always appreciate the friendly service as well."

"Nice little Italian restaurant in dunwoody. I made a reservation to sit at the bar. I loved that I could reserve a seat at the bar since most places consider the bar first come, first serve. I tried the fried green tomatoes and the brazino w/ asparagus, olives and potatoes. Both were really good and not over done. The bartender was really nice and even played some old school music as it got later. This place is located in a plaza with other restaurants and businesses so there is plenty of parking. Although not required, I do reccomend a reservation."

"Definitely want to do a "do over" with this spot! I ordered the Chicken pizza and was not a huge fan of it, but the services was great- a bunch of super friendly people! The restaurant gives off a good vibe, very clean and welcoming. I will have to try something else the next time."

"We had a party of 4 for dinner on Saturday, 1/20/24, at 5:30 pm. The restaurant is really cute. Good date-like atmosphere. We split 2 appetizers between the 4 of us and each got our own entree. My friend and I shared our 2 entrees. Here's what I had:- Mozzarella en Carrozza ($12): Perfectly crispy. Very good.- Eggplant Parmigiana Melanzane ($15): A little cold. The eggplant wasn't fried to our liking. Definitely not worth $15. Pass.- Spicy Sicilian Pizza with ricotta-filled crust ($17 + $5): We were told we could do any pizza and make the crust ricotta-filled. The amount of ricotta in each slice was the miniature-est dollop. We felt like it was a ripoff. The actual pizza was decent though!- Rigatoni di Napoli ($22): This was heavy, but I enjoyed it. Others in my party weren't as keen on it though. My friend got the Chicken Alfredo ($26) and didn't like it at all.Overall, we had high hopes, but were a little disappointed. We wouldn't go back."

"The first thing I have to point out is the service. The people here are genuinely kind and attentive. That alone makes you want to come back. Secondly, the food does the job! I got the Baked Ziti and it was the perfect portion in my opinion. I've also preferred the pizza and garlic cheesy bread in the past -- also pretty good! It's dim and intimate inside. You wouldn't expect it to look the way it does based from its exterior. I love this little hidden gem. I say to definitely give this place a try! For sure recommend."

"We have lived in the area for 24 years but just visited this restaurant that has been in business for 13 years. It was relatively busy at 7:30pm on a Friday night. Amy was our very attentive and friendly server. We enjoyed our house salad, Caesar salad, steak and snow crab, and salmon. All were well cooked, seasoned, and warm. As a heads up, they serve Mayo , cocktail sauce etc, in plastic containers or packages. The only improvement is that the decor was slightly outdated and perhaps cluttered."

"It's a bit of an odd location as you have to go up some stairs to a plaza that's removed from the street. Apparently this leads to a MARTA station (I've never been on MARTA despite numerous trips to Atlanta). While the people ahead of me were getting pints, I had plenty of time to peruse. I ended up with an oreo-based cookies and cream flavor, as well as some white chocolate raspberry. Both flavors delivered a strong dairy base and smooth texture, with the oreos and raspberries being more of a finishing note. It was clearly good gelato, but even by Atlanta standards, the price was a bit eyebrow-raising for one small cup of gelato. I could see some quality there, but it wasn't the best I've had in Atlanta."
