"Canoe is an Atlanta staple for a reason. The location is great, food consistent, and service attentive. I stopped by for dinner most recently(probably recommend doing brunch as a first go here), and enjoyed a quiet evening. We started with drinks on the patio by the river(river bar isn't opened everyday so call ahead if you want to sit there). Then went inside for dinner. Reservations are a must! We enjoyed the smoked salmon and kangaroo to start. Then I had the duck dinner which was cooked perfectly."

"I visited this restaurant straight from the airport one weekday evening. It wasn't very busy, but I noticed I was one of only 3 white patrons in the restaurant, employees included. The menu had a good selection of dishes you would find in most decent restaurants in Louisiana. I sat at the bar for the best service.I decided on the Redfish Pontchatrain and a cat 5 hurricane. Supposedly, the cat 5 is the strongest one. Lucky for me, it was not bitter at all and very drinkable. The redfish was really good and sits atop dirty rice and corn machoux, which I didn't eat because I don't like corn. However, with the lump crab and bay shrimp on top, this is a really nice dish and one that is filling.I received excellent service while dining at the bar, and all employees and customers I interacted with were super friendly and a pleasure to meet."

We were seated and our server was phenomenal! She was actually training, but you would never have known. "10/10 experience during my Saturday Brunch. Don't be alarmed by the wait as the staff does a great job with turning tables quickly without rushing diners. I was able to be seated right after arrival. Despite there not being a host at the stand when I entered - a server came over to greet me and stated someone would be with me shortly. Kudos to him for being attentive to his tables and also all other guests I didn't get his name but, he did have nice locs.Once greeted and seated , Bre, came over to explain the specials for the day as well as take my order if I was ready. I took her advice and ordered the Pomegranate Juice, Catfish and Grits, biscuit and, side of cheese eggs. Be mindful that no alcoholic drinks are served at the establishment but, their juices are absolutely delicious and refreshing. The food came out hot and fresh maybe 10 minutes after I ordered. The portion size where great for the cost and I wish I had enough stomach room to have finish the entire plate. Once again, I highly recommend you fine here. Enjoy good food, soulful house music and, great customer service."

The interior is very bright and open with incredible views to the river. The patio is just so lovely with a little garden.Staff: everyone we encountered was totally incredible! My partner and I split everything and I highly recommend that!Bread basket - worth it. We couldn't get a picture because it was gone so fast. It's not your average bread service with flavorful seeded crackers, raisin bread, and sourdough. Tuna poke (I think that's what it was called!) - oh my LANTA this was delicious. I don't think I've had tuna wish rice puffs before but it was a harmonious textural balance and totally let the tuna shine. Absolutely delicious.The wedge - sooooo delicious - wedge salads are just intrinsically good but their dressing was definitely homemade and the bacon shined bright. They even split it in half for us to share. Chefs kiss!Del monico ribeye Oscar style - I recognize that this is the height of luxury. The Oscar style is crab, a cream sauce, and asparagus. It was. Decadent. The steak itself was so incredible but with this add just put it into another category. Every bite was better than the last. Because we had split everything this was a perfect portion to split. Crème brulee - we were totttttally full after the steak but it was my birthday and they kindly brought this over but we ate it all up. Fresh, great berries, and a delicious way to end the meal. Price: this is definitely an indulgent meal. We were celebrating but it was steep. So worth every penny though!!! I hope I get the opportunity to go back!"

Thank you.Just landed, checked into the hotel, then came here for our first meal (3 hour time difference from PST).Quality/Quantity - Came here for happy hour. Got the following:New Orleans BBQ Shrimp Ray's Chicken Sandwich - Good. My dish. I am told that Atlanta is known for their chicken and waffles, so this was the closest thing on their HH menu.Wagyu Burger - Also good, done well. Not well done, pun intended.Truffle Parmesan Fries - This was SO good, real shaved truffles! Not just truffle oil. This would have been 5 stars, if we realized that our HH orders also came with fries. We were SO fried out by the end of the meal.HH New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc $8 - So good and refreshing that I got two glasses. Well after a long flight, time changes, etc, I felt I deserved two glasses. They have a decent wine selection, see menu or my pictures of their wines, displays, etc. Full bar, etc.Atmosphere - Nice upscale restaurant.Booth, table, and bar seating.Private or semi private dining available.Clean modern bathrooms.Open 7 days a week: Weekdays from 11:30am to 9pm or 10pm, weekends open for dinner only from 4pm to 9pm or 10pm. "This is a fantastic restaurant in the area, one of tue very few options in a busy tourist area. We walked in for a Friday lunch, luckily it wasn't very busy. The restaurant has wonderful interior, a huge bar, bunch of very well decorated booths. The menu is full of interesting dishes. I got the naked burger that had a bison paddy. It was a delicious burger. The bison tasted so good with melted cheese and all the other ingredients of the burger. We liked the huge crab cakes and citrusy lemonade. They have a small kids menu as well. Chicken fingers and fries were good. Service was excellent. Our server was so nice. Food came out within a decent time. Overall this is a great place to dine with family."

"Exactly what you expect - its a divey seafood shack but very spacious. I had a whole bench to myself which I was able to get with no wait time. Tons of tvs inside which I was able to watch a lifetime movie while enjoy my meal.They are not shy with the amount of lobster. They let the ingredients do the talking with the simplicity. The lobster roll was alright, it needed a like more TLC. The bisque however is really good. It was my favorite part of the meal. Good flavor and full of seafood. Great lunchtime spot."

"This is always been my go to place for fresh seafood. Today's visit doesn't change that opinion! It was our birthdays and my friend and I went to eat lunch there. Daniel surprised us with a really nice birthday dessert! He was extremely attentive, and was good in suggesting ideas! Will definitely return again, and again!"

"We hosted our team building brunch on Juneteenth and decided to support a black-owned restaurant on that day. We decided on Roc South. I have been a patron since they opened and have always had a great dining experience. This time was no different. My colleagues and I enjoyed our food and the service was outstanding. Even with our large party, there was no wait on food and all the orders came out correctly. They all commented on the vibe of the restaurant and many said they would come back. Thank you to the manager who was so professional and accommodating in booking our reservation and the entire staff on that day. Again, I highly recommend dining here. The price for what is received is not worth it. Very keen seafood eater here and not all the seafood tasted fresh. Nothing had gone bad but shellfish was all fishy, and you could even taste it through the various sauces. The shrimp was the best part - tasted fresh. The lobster roll was also a disappointment - way too much bread.Now onto the good parts - everything we chose for the 4 courses was delicious. From crab fritter, to mushroom tart, to duck, prime rib..everything was perfectly created to a tee. Loved all the little deliveries from the kitchen as well throughout the meal. Our waiter, Ricky, was fast and efficient and made great recommendations. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was the best I have eaten in Atlanta! My husband ordered the special, butternut squash ravioli with fried lobster. We also ordered calamari for an appetizer which was tasty. They also served complimentary cubed foccaccio which I thought was an interesting touch. Next time I am back, I will try dessert! This is a lovely place for date night or an evening with family. "I finally decided to give this Atlanta classic a try. I came on a random week night. They have no parking lot so valet is mandatory which was a bit annoying but I didn't want to take a chance on my car being towed for parking next door so I conceded and did valet. I sat at the downstairs bar. It was early so there were only a few other smoking cigars. The bar was a nice work station for the early evening. Eventually the place began to liven up and there was a piano player. I ordered salmon and a cesar salad. The salad was tasty and the piece of salmon was huge. However, the salmon lacked flavor so I had to request some sauce for it.The bartenders were nice and constantly checked on me.I would go back but I might try a steak and some of the other dishes they're known for."

"I can't wait to come back here. The beautiful high ceilings with plenty of natural lighting, the impeccable service, and the incredible food. Our server was SO accommodating and knowledgeable. She was able to make a cocktail from an old menu based on measurements of the drink from a prior visit and she nailed it. She was also very friendly and always had a smile on. It's a beautiful restaurant. It's not too posh or modern, but it almost feels like you're not in Georgia because of the European color scheme and floor to ceiling windows. The Tagliata Di Manzo (aka ribeye) was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the capers were the unexpected star of the show. They added the right amount of salt and tang to the steak. The charcuterie selection board is probably one of my favorites that I've had so far in Atlanta. Huge portions, every single meat and cheese was delicious. I really appreciated the honeycomb, honey is such a perfect complement to charcuterie but not everywhere served them together. The mustard/relish condiment was also a nice surprise - not too mustard forward, but enough acidity to go with the sweetness of the meats. the prosciutto was the softest I've ever had - in the best way. It almost melted in your mouth. I wish they served endless amounts of their fresh focaccia. It is so crispy that the outside almost shatters when you crack into it while the inside stays fluffy. It is the ideal foundation to eat with your charcuterie as well. The hamachi was okay - felt like it needed more salt in order to bring out the flavor of the fish. The patate croccanti was an excellent accompaniment for the ribeye. They had a nice funk from the cheese and they were not too crispy but still crispy enough to be the textural component of the meal. Will be coming back and would highly recommend."

I imagine it can get very busy since it's such a small place. This is 100% a place to dine if you enjoy New Orleans Cajun style. Ambiance : Super casual dining inside or patio with the most flavorful Cajun menu. Service : we have been there a few times and servers are always excellent with very good suggestions. The crab dip is hard to pass up. It's a small portion so order a second appetizer or the Crawfish Mac and Cheese to share. We have tried and loved several fish entrees, jambalaya, blackened fish tacos, shrimp poboy, crab poboy, crab dip, Crawfish Mac & Cheese, Red Beans and Rice, gumbo, pecan pie, bread pudding."

If it wasn't for the great maître D, Andrew, I probably would not have gotten cream because they don't have cream for the coffee service. Rather than order the "Aegean" prix fixe as we always have, if we return, we're better off going a la carte.Kyma's appetizers are wonderful. The prix fixe used to include four off the menu. Now it's down to two, and the portion for the three of us was skimpy -- likely the same as they'd serve two people. Aside from quantity, the lamb pie, pork ribs and calamari (which we ordered separately) are winners. To make up for the missing appetizers, they've added a Greek salad which was overloaded with tomatoes. (My preference would be to raise prices rather than impose cost-cutting measures.)To our surprise, the fish portion of our meal was huge. I posted a photo of the char (salmon) we got.... but there was another piece that I didn't photograph. Plenty for five people. (Couldn't they have done that with the appetizers?!)Dessert -- not included on the prix fixe -- was okay. The loukoumades (Greek donuts) not nearly as good as what we get in Astoria. Service is a little too quick, like they want to feed you and get you out. So I don't know -- there's good, there's bad. If you live locally, see what you think."

The menu has a few changes but still amazing. This time I ordered a filet mignon and it was delicious. It came with two sides which I picked sautéed spinach and baked potato. Also, they were sweet to make me a non alcoholic mojito which i was craving. My husband ordered a flank steak which was amazing. My son fell asleep and didn't eat anything but woke up for dessert. We celebrated his bday early and it was a blast. The restaurant is set up in a glamorized bar style and also has cigar shop and cigar smoking area in the front. Love the stores around it and the mall in the area as well. This is a great choice if you like halal meat options. They have halal meat for this interested. I'll be back for whenever in Georgia."

The pirate's butter sauce was amazing. The service was great, and I really like ambiance of the place, it was clean and cozy. They do offer a full bar here and a pretty decent menu. The prices are in line with other seafood resturants in the area. Parking is plentiful as it is a shared lot with other businesses. I will definitely have to check out their dinner menu soon."

Three of the pieces of tuna were really tough and I'm not sure why. I've never had tough to eat tuna in a tartar before. I got the steak. Was good but needed salt. The sauce it came with was very good. I asked our server for some sea salt. I should have taken a photo of the tiny amount she brought me in a small dish. I laughed thinking it was a joke! Also my potatoes were definitely from a box. They really had no flavor and I was disappointed in the texture and taste coming from this type of establishment. My guy liked his scallop entree and the burrata and strawberry salad was really tasty!Valet parking outside only $4. Very nice!"

I dined a few years ago at their East Point location so I wanted to try this one.*Parking: I found parking in an indoor lot fairly close to the restaurant (btw) they do valet. The parking is next door to a hotel on the same side as the restaurant.I entered LB Buckhead and was seated immediately on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. The restaurant was fairly empty, which I appreciated. I ordered the catfish Po boy sandwich which was part of their lunch special. It was good, seasoned nicely but not overly seasoned. For dessert, yes I had dessert :) I ordered the bread pudding which was also very tasty. I did have to ask the manager if he could warm my dessert up because it came out luke warm. He and I started chatting his name escapes me but I believe it stared with an A. Nice conversation and he (the manager) seemed very pleasant and invested in the customer experience which I appreciated.I plan to return to this location again with my husband. Overall, great experience!"

The temperature of the lighting was dim to give a mild tone to the overall feel, however, the natural light from the front windows and patio gave ample lighting. We decided to sit on the back patio to enjoy the weather being that it wasn't too hot or too cold. Upon taking a look at the menu, I was excited at all the finger options. I decided to get the Grouper Fingers with Tater Tots and a Sweet Tea! Sweet Tea - Fresh, Perfectly Sweet, Refreshing, and absolutely a must try for my sweet tea lovers. Grouper Fingers - Golden Battered, Crunchy on the outside, moist and meaty on the inside. Well seasoned, great portion size, good quality of grouper. Tater Tots - One Word, AMAZING. Perfectly deep fried, not greasy, seasoned to perfection, and paired very well with the grouper. The tarter sauce tasted homemade and was very good. It paired perfectly with the batter of the Grouper as well as the Tater Tots! Oh yes. This was a great lunch. The service provided by Reece was amazing. He was all smiles and ensured our cups were filled and the table had everything we needed. Overall, Fontaine's Oyster House was a great experience and I will be back to try more items on the menu."

"It's been a long time since we've been to Parker's. This was one of our first date night restaurants and we found ourselves in the Atlanta area for Valentine's Day, and decided to come back. One of the few restaurants that had both a vegan option and wasn't running a special menu. Whole experience was amazing. Roses for the women, and everyone on point to take care of everything you need. Service was perfect. Started with an old fashioned-orange nectar or something-and it was well balanced and delicious. We also split a house salad that was terrific. The dried cherries were a nice touch. I went with the something something chicken. It was baked to perfection and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were good but nothing special. The brussel sprouts were terrific but obviously a ton of oil and fried for maybe a bit too long. Still wonderful and still full of flavor. I loved the dish. My wife got the grilled tofu which had a delicious Thai chili glaze. I'm so impressed with how good this meal was. I'm sure we'll be back again on a future visit."
