"So I'm all about New Orleans food so I had to give it a shot. Cafe Bourbon Street is a food truck so it's not a standard brick and mortar (at this location) so just keep that in mind. If you are going to try to go, make sure you download the app so that you can order your food and get it in a timely fashion. They run it as first come first serve so it gives you a better chance to get in and out as soon as possible.Service was good, I don't have any complaints. You're waiting around but everybody's nice and friendly who's taking your order. I ordered the food while I was on the freeway and by the time I got there it was just getting done and bagged so that worked out really well. Again, I would 101% suggest you download the app instead of getting it and waiting around. When I was there to work a lot of people there but I know that there could be quite a bit of people there giving the fact that I read some reviews on it. So you want to go ahead and make sure you do your due diligence.I went with the Cajun fried shrimp and the jambalaya egg roll. The Cajun fried shrimp was good, it could have used more seasoning but I understand that you want to make sure that you don't inundate somebody with seasonings because they may not like it and once you put it on you can't take it off. But if you're coming for New Orleans food, I want to hear and feel and taste that spice! But the shrimp was good. I actually did dip it in some cocktail sauce when I got home, just to help it alone but I would get it again though honestly.I don't really do beignets but I had to try it just because why not lol. If you like them, you will be satisfied I assume. They come with maybe three of them or so, Dusted and all the powdered sugar that looks like snowfall lol. They also have shrimp that is sauced in a sweet and spicy sauce kind of situation and now it's actually really good as well. These sauced up shrimp came dripping with sauce and had green onion garnished on them as well. Really good. I didn't need anything extra for them, like the casa sauce I use for the regular fried shrimp. Solid attempt! Next time I would probably consider getting that instead of the regular but I want to see what the regular tasted like first and foremost before I bitch it off into sauces! Now I've saved this for the last part of review, the jambalaya egg roll. This joint was a hit! It came in too long egg rolls couldn't have and it was drizzled in some beautiful spicy sauce. That situation right there was a winner! That could have been the meal and I would have been happy lol. Well I would have wanted more but you get the point lol! You can make out large rings of sausage, rice, everything you would find in jambalaya. That joint was bussin with flavor, that I didn't know I needed until that moment in time. When I go back, most likely so. The guy who was at the front of the truck was super nice and super friendly and very inviting. I would definitely like to go back for more. Now just as a precaution, it is a food truck so unless you eat it there some of the things may not hold up in the car ride home depending on how long it takes. For example the French fries were nothing special and I think that they suffered because of all the steam made them soggy. Now I will say there are people out in the parking lot in in the area of the food truck who didn't even wait to get home, they just start smashing the food in the car and at the seat they were sitting at. I understand why because it's going to be hot and fresh right off the gate! Either way, just want to let you know that consideration because fried food doesn't always hold up when it's putting a steam box so keep that in mind. But either way it goes, this was a win."
"What a great experience!A day or so after Christmas, my friend, her family and I were on the hunt for a restaurant to comfortably accommodate 9+ people at the last minute. I figured that seafood is always a great idea but where to go? I'm picky about my seafood because my mom makes the best seafood boil and idk lol. I haven't ventured out to many seafood restaurants in Atlanta yet, but I knew that my fellow Yelpers would have some thoughts on the matter and you all led me here!We visited on a holiday weekday around 7pm and making reservations on their site was super easy. There was a bunch of parking out front but I believe they share it with the neighboring businesses. There's also a parking garage. My first impression was great because I looked down and saw their logo being flashed onto the ground in front of their door like the bag signal lol. Nice touch. When I arrived (5min late) my friends and family were already seated and had ordered drinks. I think that shows how quick the seating was, which is always appreciated. Our waitress for the night was so patient and really handled our large party like a pro! I ended up ordering one of their bagged cocktails and y'all. At first I thought, "they couldn't fill this baby up more?" I should learn to shutup because I barely got past 30% of that pouch. They really made a point. I'm a lightweight, I need a juice box size next time lol. It was tasty though! I recommend for the girlies lol. Prices were incredibly reasonable imo, pretty on par for the market. I ended up ordering the mussels with garlic noodles and garlic bread. Listen friends. Those garlic noodles moved something in me. They were SO good, wow. Get the noodles. The garlic bread was also good. My mussels were fantastic paired with the hot Cap't Loui sauce! I love when I order a certain spice level and the restaurant takes it as a challenge lol. I had more empty shells than I'd love, but I still had plenty to enjoy. Their lunch specials are also amazing so don't be surprised if you see me there!"

"Service, quality of food and presentation. This was my first time visiting. I was pleased with the outcome. They have a huge to go base because of the location but inside dining and patio seating are available if desired. I didn't order anything to traditional since I was on a 30 minute break but allowed myself to try the General Tsio's lunch special with a side of string beans. It was good, I think however the string beans had a hint of Fish sauce which made them taste a bit spoiled- but now I know. Overall I give it 4 stars. Ayu, my server was attentive and tended to my experience. She gave me a history lesson about the business. They have sit down bar as well. Outside area and inside are very clean"
"Came back praying for better service than the last time cause the food was good . I got just what I asked for . E J was my server and his service was excellent. He constantly checked on us and did not mess the order up . Very polite too ."
"The quest to try a new restaurant while shopping nearby led us to Nowak's. We arrived around 5 and sat at the bar. They weren't busy then, but many guests arrived shortly after. It's a really nice place. We were dressed casually because we came in on a whim, but the bar was laid back. We were greeted immediately. They have a nice variety of food options on their menu. I opted for a sidecar to drink and the steak frites for my entree. My husband ordered the NY strip with truffle fries. We both enjoyed our meals tremendously and discussed returning. I recently began following them on Instagram and they have great happy hour options."
"OMG!!!!!!! I found them on groupon, so I had to come and try it out. Great customer service from my phone order, to the smiling owner and her other welcoming staff when I walked in. I think it's a family run business which is great. The flavor was out of sight! I expected a bag of oil like one of the reviews said, and it was oil in the bag, but it had so much flavor. The crab clusters were fresh, and they taste like the seasoning was boiled inside of them.I learned that some places when you order garlic butter for your flavor choice, that it's exactly what you get. Bland, and oily. But, with this restaurant they not only use garlic, and garlic butter, but they also use garlic butter seasoning which makes a huge difference as far as taste. That's what gives it that yummy flavor I've been craving.I am a big fan, and will definitely be back again."
"Located inside of Chattahoochee Food Works. I got the seafood fries. Portions are huge. It was easily enough for 2. That being said $18 was a decent price for the portion size and the freshness and amount of the seafood."
"This is a hip little restaurant that serves some very unique eats. It is located near Olympic Park and there is metered street parking available. There are also commercial lots within a reasonable walking distance. The staff there was friendly and they do not accept cash payments. You can only pay with a card. They serve sloppy wings, sloppy fries, sloppy burgers, lamb chops, shrimp, egg rolls and salmon. You can get them all drench in the signature sauce flavor of their choice. There is an adequate sized dining room that has a few board games available to play. They have hip-hop and R&B music playing throughout the dining room. The place was jumping when the dance remix of Anita Baker's No one in the World started playing. I will say that it took them a while to clean the tables in the dining room after someone left.I ordered 6 wings in 24K sauce and a grilled chicken and cheese egg roll. They have some delicious lemonades that you can purchase to wash down your meal. It took about 15 minutes for me to get food. The wings were small, but they were drenched in the sauce. They were delicious. I was not really a fan of the egg roll. It was ok, but I was really not craving it. I recommend checking this place out for some good food with quality service. I highly recommend their wings. They have a hip vibe and atmosphere. I am glad that I was able to check this place out."
"We had dinner reservation for 2 at 7:00 pm on Saturday, 12/2/23. The service was great! Valet parking. Unassuming from the outside. Very nice on the inside! Tall leather booths. Five stars for the steak. Four stars for the sides. We got way too much food, but we had leftovers! Here's what we got:- Tuna Tartare ($18): Good!- French Onion Soup ($12): Tasty!- Burrata & Prosciutto ($16): The burrata was great. Wish the prosciutto was saltier and had more taste.- 12 oz Filet Mignon ($72): Very, very good. - 16 oz 101 Steak Delmonico ($72) with Bearnaise ($3): Super good! The sauce was good too, but not necessary.- Creamy Spinach ($13): This was actually gross. It was a tiny bit better the next day, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.- Cheddar Mac-N-Cheese ($12): Fine, better as leftovers.- Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Ginger Soy ($14): Super delicious.- Chocolate Layer Cake ($12): OMG. So good. The salt was all on the edge, which I'm sure looks great for decoration, but it made a few bites way too salty. The salt needed to be spread out more.We would definitely go back, just wouldn't get the creamed spinach."
"I can't wait to come back here. The beautiful high ceilings with plenty of natural lighting, the impeccable service, and the incredible food. Our server was SO accommodating and knowledgeable. She was able to make a cocktail from an old menu based on measurements of the drink from a prior visit and she nailed it. She was also very friendly and always had a smile on. It's a beautiful restaurant. It's not too posh or modern, but it almost feels like you're not in Georgia because of the European color scheme and floor to ceiling windows. The Tagliata Di Manzo (aka ribeye) was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the capers were the unexpected star of the show. They added the right amount of salt and tang to the steak. The charcuterie selection board is probably one of my favorites that I've had so far in Atlanta. Huge portions, every single meat and cheese was delicious. I really appreciated the honeycomb, honey is such a perfect complement to charcuterie but not everywhere served them together. The mustard/relish condiment was also a nice surprise - not too mustard forward, but enough acidity to go with the sweetness of the meats. the prosciutto was the softest I've ever had - in the best way. It almost melted in your mouth. I wish they served endless amounts of their fresh focaccia. It is so crispy that the outside almost shatters when you crack into it while the inside stays fluffy. It is the ideal foundation to eat with your charcuterie as well. The hamachi was okay - felt like it needed more salt in order to bring out the flavor of the fish. The patate croccanti was an excellent accompaniment for the ribeye. They had a nice funk from the cheese and they were not too crispy but still crispy enough to be the textural component of the meal. Will be coming back and would highly recommend."
"Our first night in Atlanta and we'd planned to check into our hotel, then leave for dinner, but we were tired. The menu for Wok and Roll had been put under our door and for a $12 minimum order they will deliver. We ordered 3 dinners - sweet and sour chicken, general tso's (mild) and sesame chicken. Each dinner came with rice and soup. The portions were a great size. Our food was delicious. There wasn't one bite left! The delivery went smooth too. We got a call offering to bring it up or meet in the lobby. When we ordered we were quoted a 45 min wait but it was closer to 30 min. It gave us time to settle in and my youngest got a quick dip in the pool. Had we left for dinner, the drive and wait would've been similar. And, it was so nice to relax in the room."
"Nobody would have to bully this boy to come back here.We had a great experience here on a Friday night. After we got stuck in a little traffic, we called the restaurant to let them know we were running late for our reservation and they were more than happy to hold it for us. We're so glad they did!Service was prompt and great. We ordered three appetizers and all was just fantastic. Wings were thoroughly seasoned and the sauce to accompany was sweet and delicious. The sprouts (which I feel are served at every millennial-friendly restaurant these days) were perfect. The oysters were great and served wirh two mignonettes (garlic and pomegranate) and they went down easy.Get the spicy tuna avocado bomb. It's exactly what you expect and despite my deftness with chopsticks, I recommend getting at it with a fork and knife. Sashimi was fresh and cut thick to get our money's worth. The dragon roll used real crab which was a nice touch. Drink selection was great with an impressive wine list (much like sister restaurant two urban licks). This restaurant is styled in a very industrial manner without feeling cold. Love a big, open kitchen and the whole place smells like good food being prepared. Love paying my check by phone especially when pricing is fair. No doubt this is a pricier spot but I feel like we got a lot for the money. This place is a winner - 5/5 we'll be back."

I had a craving for beignets and Cafe Bourbon St was recommended, and I'm so glad I tried it! This is a former food truck now in a permanent location I believe, and the food is made fresh to order! I arrived a little but before opening, and there were 2 other people waiting. The parking lot is quite big (and free!). This location at least is card only, no cash accepted. After placing my order, I waited ~20 minutes for the food to come out. I believe they ordinarily text you when your order is ready, but I never received a text but the worker came and handed me my food directly, which was very nice. The seating area is also very nice, and on a warmer day I'm sure would be a great place to sit. The shrimp was delicious, and the fries were well seasoned, on the soft side. My favorite part was the pecan praline beignets. They're a great texture, very light and not to sweet, with the praline sauce providing a great addition!

I've been craving seafood boil for months and remember being very satisfied having tried one of their locations back in Massachusetts. Because I gathered 10 people together, I figured it was best to make reservations just in case for 6 pm on a Friday. I was surprised to find them almost empty when I arrived, but by the end of the meal most tables were filled. I was seated right away by the owner who doubled as the host. Between us, we managed to clear over 10 lbs of seafood almost rolling out the door. We tried their shrimp (head on of course, crawfish, mussels, variety of crab, and so much more. For side we had to get their garlic noodles, which taste just like back at home, plus their truffle fries, garlic noodles, and the add-ins incorporated into the seafood bag itself. Sauce choice was the Cap't Loui at medium spice level and we were all happy with it as it was comfortable heat. Overall, everything was great. Seafood was perfect, sides were prepared with care, staff were warm AND they validated parking for the first 100 minutes. I will certainly be a returning customer and recommend others to give them your support!

I seen this place and wanted to try it. When I am in Houston . I could never find a good Chinese restaurant. I gave this one a shot cause I seen the egg foo young and it reminded me of my mom favorite meal.I decided to get shrimp fried rice lunch special and appetizer fried wings. I loved it. The wings were fresh and shrimp was a decent size and quantity. I went at lunch and it was great portion sizes. What I did NOT like was the spring rolls . The inside was over cooked and mushy. The outside had a great crust but I did not give a rating for spring rolls cause I know I wouldn't like it. I didn't like they did not have egg rolls so I went to another restaurant nearby for egg rolls. I will be back here until I find something else that catches my eye.

My family and I dined on a Saturday evening. We were seating almost immediately. The place is very family friendly and is a good spot for a low cost and relaxed outing. Everything on the menu is fried, so if you are looking for something healthy this is probably not your spot. Service was okay, portions were huge and food was 6.5/10.

VERY good fried shrimp if you are a shrimp lover like myself. The only seafood I eat is shrimp and these are jumbo, fried and seasoned to perfection! The cajun fries are not crispy, but they are so good! As you can see I ate the majority of them before I could even get to this review. So this is the shrimp basket for $12.00. Comes with fries, your choice of cajun or regular. The fries are under your shrimp at the bottom of your box. From the time we placed our order, it took about 10 min to receive. It was hot, fresh and relatively fast. I will definitely be back when visiting East ATL.

Food was amazing! Service was great! Ambiance was jumping! Good vibes, music playing and in the heart of Atlanta. Overall it was a great time! The host was full of energy and enthusiasm and recommended some really great plates as you can see from the photos. Definitely looking forward to coming back to the greatest of plates! So much different opinions so hard to choose!

"It took ALL of my energy NOT TO ORDER EVERYTHING OFF THIS MENU! I wanted both types of salmon, swordfish, Chilean sea bass, octopus, lobster, all of it... But I settled with the octopus and the Ora king salmon. My friend opted for oysters, the tuna tar tar and the sea bass.- The Octopus: I ordered mine without potatoes because I'm not a fan. The octopus was perfection. So tender, no chewy at all, sweet and succulent, everything octopus should taste like. That being said, I did NOT like the salad that came with it, at all... And I also wish there was MORE octopus, ha ha, but that's just me being a HUGE OCTOPUS FAN and also having the ability to eat like a linebacker.- The Ora King Salmon (with crispy Brussels Sprouts and Green Beans): The salmon was divine, however the skin was unfortunately a little burnt (and skin is my favorite part). I also don't know that it actually was Ora King Salmon in all honesty. I've had lots of Ora King Salmon and what I was served tasted more like a Faroe Island Salmon, which is still amazing, but no Ora King. Regardless, perfectly cooked to my liking (minus the skin) and the Brussels sprouts were PHENOMENAL (like WOW!) as were the green beans. They paired perfectly with the salmon! - Tuna Tar Tar: I tried a bit of my friend's tar tar and while it was good, I think if I ordered it for myself, I would have asked for the sauce it comes in on the side or none at all because I think it was too strong, detracting from the flavor of the tuna and avocado. Over all, I did really love the food I ate, I just wish I ordered more, ha ha, but this just means I am HUNGRY FOR MORE and need to come back!"
"This was my first time at this restaurant, and I'm glad that we decided to dine here. The restaurant has a nice full stocked bar, many items to choose for your seafood boil. The restaurant is clean and the employees are very pleasant. Jolene was our waitress, and she was very attentive and friendly. I ordered a half pound shrimp and no head, 3 eggs, a potato and corn. My husband ordered Combo A, which is sausage, a half pound of snow crab legs, half pound of shrimp with no head, corn and a potato. We also ordered cheese sticks, blue moon beer and a strawberry lemonade. Everything was hot and delicious. If we're in the area, we may stop by and order."
"We had an opportunity to visit Dominique's at Stonecrest this evening. We've been patiently awaiting the opening and once we seen the "open" signs from the freeway, we made our dinner choice right there. The restaurant is definitely a welcomed addition to the community, so I'd like to thank the ownership for investing in the area . Now on to the review, the staff was amazing, the ambience has won me over compared to the choices within a few exits on the interstate. She had the ribeye and creamy spinach and mashed potatoes, which was delicious. I had the Rasta pasta with grilled chicken which was equally amazing. We will definitely be back again to enjoy other dinner options. Great job Cache and Dominique's see you soon!"
"Pricey!!!!Check out Tara Blvd ... The New Orleans seafood spot, better prices for cooked and raw seafood."
"Da Menu in Douglasville is amazing! The food is delicious. The space is small. The service is good but at times can be slow. I love it!!!"
"Let me tell you, your girl LOVES some fresh seafood so I was too excited to check this new neighborhood spot out! Sat at the bar and ordered the Kirkwood Kiwi Margarita and the Georgia Peach to drink and the Shrimp & Lobster Roll to eat. The Kirkwood Kiwi Margarita was sooo good! I was pleasantly surprised at how light, fresh, and delicious the flavors were and I could actually taste the liquor (tequila) which was a plus for me when I'm drinking cocktails. The Georgia Peach was very well-balanced and I would absolutely order it again. The Shrimp & Lobster Roll came with "House Chips" and while I was expecting some regular potato chips, these were hand cut thinly sliced pieces of actual potatoes and were pretty good. The Shrimp & Lobster Roll was also tasty and I had no real complaints. My bartenders, Ava and Jasmine were super friendly and amazing! Overall, I had a good first experience at this spot and I look forward to coming back and trying some other items on the menu."
"No indoor seating, to go orders only. We were waited on at the counter by a beautiful woman. She advised us the best way to get the most food for our money. Predictable wait of 20 minutes was accurate. A Sprite is $2.50"
"Food was great!! I had the snow crab legs with shrimp, sausage and potatoes. The sausage was spicy which was a problem for a self proclaimed spice wimp like me!! I got plenty of food for my money and the food was seasoned and flavorful."
"I finally decided to give this Atlanta classic a try. I came on a random week night. They have no parking lot so valet is mandatory which was a bit annoying but I didn't want to take a chance on my car being towed for parking next door so I conceded and did valet. I sat at the downstairs bar. It was early so there were only a few other smoking cigars. The bar was a nice work station for the early evening. Eventually the place began to liven up and there was a piano player. I ordered salmon and a cesar salad. The salad was tasty and the piece of salmon was huge. However, the salmon lacked flavor so I had to request some sauce for it.The bartenders were nice and constantly checked on me.I would go back but I might try a steak and some of the other dishes they're known for."
"I can't believe I had never been here before but Bon Ton is such a gem and I'll definitely be going back. The food was *chefs kiss* made perfectly, the space has that NOLA aesthetic, and the service was great! There were people here as groups, on dates, and I imagine it would even be a cool place to go sit at the bar alone. We started off with some oysters to share which I enjoyed, they were mild but tasty. Then we had planned to split the catfish banh me and the shrimp banh me, we accidentally got 2 catfish banh me's, so one was complimented to us and we still got the shrimp banh me. We absolutely DEVOURED all three (hence why I don't have a proper picture of the catfish one). Trust me when I say the catfish was soft, delicate, seasoned to perfection, and the shrimp was crispy, very clearly fried fresh, also cooked to perfection. Everything was amazing, I hear the bar upstairs has some fun events but I couldn't find it on the website, regardless, I will be back!"
"Not sure why Yelp is not showing the 2 reviews they have labeled as "not recommended". They're both great and honest reviews. Now, I've been coming here before the name change. There has been some changes to the menu. Actually, some very economical options.Food. Haven't had any bad experiences. I have my regular items based on my mood. Steamed crab legs with corn and potatoes. Fried Whiting fish (I request medium because I need to chew my fish and don't want it crispy) potatoes and boiled eggs with old bay and garlic herb seasoning.Bring your patience because your food is cooked to order.Only thing I am disappointed about since the change is the frozen lemonade. Personally, it's not that great now. Hopefully more people will start writing reviews here instead of on the old page. I'm quite sure potential patrons are missing this place and even the olde customers who may not frequent the area."
"It's been years since I've been here and it's still the same. The service was good and the ambiance was family friendly. I ordered fried oysters as an appetizer and they were cold but the food was still good. I was too hungry and too excited to tell them that it was cold. I will say that even though everything was good they don't use much seasoning so the fish is a very buttery tasting batter which is ok but tasting some sort of fish or seafood seasoning would be great. I would definitely go back but I will have to bring my own seasoning for sure."
"While there are many , and I mean many newer dim-sum places. This is the place to go. The place where I still think the food overcomes any other short coming. If you're looking for an OG dim-sum place, up here in Duluth, where your priority is the dim-sum and price point, then look no further. Focus on the key items from the carts, and you will not go wrong. I would recommend the hargow, hamsuikok, braised chicken feet, and finally..... you have to ask for this, and I may regret letting you know this off the menu item... ask for braised beef tendons. There I said it... the only dimsum place with beef tendons. Very much coveted and prized. It'll take some time for the kitchen to make it. We usually get 2. One for the table, and one to-go. Also... pro-tip. Bring you own tea, if you have it. Good tea is essential to the experience, but unfortunately, ever restaurant does not offer a curated selection. They'll happily pour you brown water. Make 2024 a year to bring Tea back to DimSum"
"Well where do I start...I came to indulge in one of my favorite foods: seafood while I was down here for a quick vacation in Atlanta to visit a friend. I haven't been back to the Atlanta area since 2017. I use to work in Clayco (if you know you know) and have been here years ago so my friend took me here to try them out after all these years. Now I must say I'm glad we got there when we did because it was getting closer to closing time and people just kept coming in! So now on to why I gave them only 3-stars for a couple of things that happened. First off the prices of seafood has gone up tremendously over the last year or so. These prices in Georgia are the same as the prices in Virginia which is mind blowing! I'm thinking I was going to see some cheaper prices...lol not even! I'm like well damn am I really in the south? But I wanted what I wanted so we ended up splitting the bill. So this is what we got if I can remember correctly because I was down there on (5/14/21).A combo meal with 2lbs of crab, 2lbs of "large" shrimp, 2lbs of crawfish, a pound of clams and mussels, potatoes and corn. This comes with a very spicy seasoning and melted butter on the side. Now don't get me wrong the seafood was cooked and seasoned perfectly so no complaints there. The issue comes at the price. I wish I would have took a picture of the actual menu but I do have my receipts. The total came up to $160 which my friend who I was with was like "WTF"! Me not thinking I just went ahead and paid. Because there was a wait we went back to the car. Then I started thinking about it and after doing the calculations the actual price was around $100 with tax!! Yes I was overcharged by almost $60!!! I should have known he would slip up because he was acting really antsy because he was ready to close and leave out. So you already know we went back to the kid who took our order and he realized what he did after apologizing and promptly started the refund process with no problems. Thank God my friend was in his right mind because I would have been out and extra $60! So after waiting like about another 30-mins we get our food and heading to his house. So after putting out all the seafood goodness on the table we couldn't wait to dig in!Now the only compliant I have about the food is that the misleading of the "large" shrimp which I have a picture of the actual cocktail size shrimp that was in the combo. Now don't get me wrong I would definitely come back and get seafood again from here, but would make sure I pay close attention to the prices and not come toward closing time. There was a lot of upset customers who wanted food but was turned away because they was closing. Until we meet again...."
"This used to be my go to place for seafood and service. Unfortunately, this time for round I had service that was not up to C& S reputation."
"Bar service was great! Abuelos has their house made tequila which has some bite to it! Liquor can be a jacket lol. The food was used fresh ingredients and someone's Abuelo was definitely in the kitchen. It is a family friendly environment but for me... there is just something about socializing at the bar over margaritas and shots. MUAH I'll be back :)"
"Ohhhh yeah!! 1st meal of Atl visit!!This visit could not have been more perfect. Easy to locate. Visually appealing. Sweet young lady greeted and sat hubby, and I.Fannnnntastic service by DeShaun P.DeShaun was instrumental w us selecting a delish meal and beverage. Collectively, we ordered the following. Afta Church Plate: Very good!! Collards... GREAT!!Fried Poke Chop: Cooked well. Could use more seasonings. Jasmine Rice: Pretty good flavor. A little overcooked. Mushy GeecheeRita: Terrific!! Great beverage. Lil' Churn (Mocktail: Muddled Lemon, Fruit Purèe, Various Juices): Yum!! It's refreshing and perfect !!I highly recommend this business and will certainly return back for more tasty greatness."
"I heard about these amazing french fries from my daughter, so I had to try them. They're called splashed. The fries are covered in mild sauce and sprinkled with lemon pepper seasoning. I had to ask where the owner was from because that is not something you would see done in the south. They are from New York and the business is black owned; bonus for me. The young lady who took my order over the phone was a bit short with me and didn't speak in a manner where I could understand what she was saying. She didn't even take my name or give me an ETA for my order. She just said it would be ready soon. I didn't know what the fries were called and I had to ask her twice but still couldn't understand what she was saying, so I just looked it up online. The young lady behind the counter when I arrived was very well-spoken and helpful. I had questions about the restaurant and she gladly answered them. The location is right on the corner of two busy streets and located next to a store with lots of traffic, but if you go in, get your food and go; you'll be good. Inside the restaurant is very welcoming and warm. I enjoyed my splashed fries and will be back to try more menu options in the near future."
"This place is in my neighborhood; literally down the street from where I live. I could walk here on a nice day. It shares the side lot of a gas station and is across from a Walgreens. The lot is busy, but there aren't a lot of people hanging around outside like some gas stations. This restaurant is fairly busy. Lots of people in and out. I ordered the catfish with broccoli. I enjoyed my meal and the price was good. I paid less than $10 for my meal. The portions were big and everything was well-seasoned. I'd definitely stop in here again if I were in the mood for inexpensive seafood. There isn't a lot of parking, but people are in and out so fast that you don't wait for a spot to park. If you're in the Lithonia area and in the mood for a quick bite, this place should do."
"Why would a seafood place that has great clam chowder take it off the menu?? I came here for clam chowder, and was very disappointed. They had taken it off the menu!I settled for this Gulf Shrimp, fried and substitute the mango sauce. It was tasty. But nothing special for $28.I think the reason why I didn't is because my server Yulia. had at least six tables assigned to her. If it wasn't for the great maître D, Andrew, I probably would not have gotten cream because they don't have cream for the coffee service. I also hesitated, whether or not to order the lobster bisque because I couldn't tell how much cream was in it.. I did not want it to be too rich! He offered to let me try a little sample. Which is something my server should've offered me, but she was too busy. Again, I still believe the reason why she could not be more attentive is because she was spread thin!. the four stars was given because of Andrew, making my diving experience. Most pleasurable!"
"This is another new addition to the food hall scene in Atlanta. The space and the aesthetics inside and out are decorated beautifully throughout. They have plenty of seating areas. Rather, it be booths, tables also some food stalls have bar seating.Halidom Eatery has about eleven different food vendors in total, plus you can grab a drink, at bar,Le Rose, which gets pretty crowded from what I saw. You can also book your own private space, and they have events throughout the month. Unfortunately, the vendors are pretty expensive. I was very indecisive about what I wanted to order, so I went with ATL Dogs. I had a chicken sausage with sweet potato fries, which cost me $19 and some change with a tip included. I would definitely return to try different vendors whenever I'm in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way because there are so many other places that are less expensive serving mediocre food."
"This is a neat restaurant that looks like a shipping container. There is limited free street parking available. It is conveniently located just off of the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail. The restaurant is two levels. They have an inside dining area with an adequate amount of seating and a full bar with seating. The upper deck, which was closed off while I was there, is an open air patio deck. I heard that it was nice and wish that I was able to check it out. Additionally, there is patio seating outside of the restaurant for diners to eat at as well. The staff there is very friendly. They serve fish, crab cakes, shrimp, gumbo, oysters, salads, poboys and sandwiches. I ordered the charbroiled oysters with a side of fries. My food was prepared fast and was fresh. It only took them about 5 minutes to have my food in front of me. The oysters and the fries were delicious. I also recommend that you try their fresh squeezed lemonade. The food was hot and very flavorful. This is a nice spot that I can only imagine is booming at night. They have a full bar with some nice signature cocktails. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area and looking for some good seafood."
"We wanted to try a Colombian restaurant that we hadn't been to yet, so we ended up at Casa Vieja in Doraville, GA. We loved the food! The parking lot holds a lot of cars, however, a lot of the small businesses here, including Casa Vieja, are very popular and busy, so it may get packed. We showed up at the restaurant a few minutes before 3 pm today (Sunday), and there were a lot of people waiting for tables to open up. Waiting areas are both inside and outside in a covered area. Even at this early time on Sunday, all of the tables were occupied. I noticed that customers here generally ate, then left without staying/lingering at their tables after finishing their meals. This restaurant doesn't allow open tables to stay unoccupied for very long, and the employees clean up very quickly after customers leave, and they turn the tables quickly for the next customers. Except for the booths against the windows, employees can move tables and chairs around to accommodate large groups.Upon being seated, we were given menus that had a whole lot of items. I wasn't listening to R as he ordered when our server came back, but I ordered exactly what he ordered: Bistec Encebollado (grilled steak with sautéed tomatoes and onions), which came with rice and salad, and our choice of fried sweet plantains, fried green plantains, cassava or French fries. This time around, we both ordered the fried sweet plantains. The food came out quickly and smelling so good! The steak had been cut/pounded thin, and it was covered by the sautéed tomatoes and onions to the point that it looked like an orange/reddish colored pile of onion stew on top of the meat. The only things that I could complain about this meal was that the meat was well done (but still tender), and the sautéed tomatoes and onions were slightly salty. I loved that the salad didn't include onions, but it did included crunchy shredded lettuce, large slices of sweet tomato and avocado. I kicked up the heat level a bit by squeezing a good amount of a red chili pepper sauce (homemade, I believe) from a bottle, and it was perfect. The plantains provided a sweet last bite to my meal. Portions were generous, and this meal was filling.Menus, with both English and Spanish descriptions, are provided to customers. The service was great! Our server was quick and efficient, and came by multiple times during our meal to check on us and to see if we wanted any refills. This was definitely a great find for us, and we will be back."
