"10/10 experience during my Saturday Brunch. Don't be alarmed by the wait as the staff does a great job with turning tables quickly without rushing diners. I was able to be seated right after arrival. Despite there not being a host at the stand when I entered - a server came over to greet me and stated someone would be with me shortly. Kudos to him for being attentive to his tables and also all other guests I didn't get his name but, he did have nice locs.Once greeted and seated , Bre, came over to explain the specials for the day as well as take my order if I was ready. I took her advice and ordered the Pomegranate Juice, Catfish and Grits, biscuit and, side of cheese eggs. Be mindful that no alcoholic drinks are served at the establishment but, their juices are absolutely delicious and refreshing. The food came out hot and fresh maybe 10 minutes after I ordered. The portion size where great for the cost and I wish I had enough stomach room to have finish the entire plate. Once again, I highly recommend you fine here. Enjoy good food, soulful house music and, great customer service."
"I have dined here multiple times and had a great experience consistently. If you're coming for brunch on Sunday just know they don't serve alcohol until noon per state law! I've tried their challah french toast with berries, caramelized banana bread french toast, fried green tomatoes, and short rib hash. Every time I eat here the food has been delicious and they give generous portions. Things do get a little hectic there since it's a popular cafe so I recommend going early or after the brunch rush. This will definitely be a go-to breakfast spot for me!"

"Such a gem. I love the ambiance of this place. There was a dresser / drawer as soon as you walk in and it's such a statement piece. I ordered the special omelet they had with mushroom, cheese, and bacon. I'm not a fan of omelets but this one was delicious. It also came with two sides so I ordered more bacon and potatoes. It was definitely more than enough. My friend and I stayed here for more than 90 minutes just catching up and we didn't feel rushed to go. We did get here around 9 and it wasn't busy. Def got busy towards 11, so a heads up. My friend also got the pancakes and it was the best pancakes I've ever had. I also don't like syrup much but this one was perfect. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. YUM. Highly recommend. Will be back."
"My first meal in Atlanta was this hidden gem and I couldn't be happier! The food was absolutely amazing and bursting with flavor. We ordered the Jambalaya, which has rice, chicken, shrimp, and sausage. This meal had so much flavor and had a kick to it! We also ordered the Pasta Yaya, which has shrimp and sausage in creole cream pasta. It was incredibly creamy and delicious. For the full experience, we had to order some dessert. Angie's Bread Pudding melted in my mouth and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The Sweet Punch was indeed sweet, but refreshing from the savory foods. Pasta Yaya and Jambalaya (Regular for both): $18Sweet Punch: $5Bread Pudding: $8While there's minimal seating inside, there are some spots available outside. The ordering process is straightforward: you order at the register and grab your food when your number is called. Overall, I highly recommend!"
"I've only tried this place once, but it's probably in my top three Vietnamese restaurants I've tried in the Atlanta area so far. The quality of the food was excellent even for take-out. My mom and I tried the rare steak, well done flank, and brisket combination pho, the grilled pork báhn mì, and the spring rolls. Everything was very tasty and fresh! We would reorder everything we tried. I can't speak on the in-person service or ambiance as this was a delivery order, but I would definitely recommend the food. Everything was well-portioned - plenty to share or for leftovers, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Give them a try if you haven't yet."
"Definitely a classic restaurant my family and I frequent .Two words: JALAPEÑO HUSHPUPPIES Two words: CHARGRILLED OYSTERSThree words: FRIED SEAFOOD BASKETSOne word: COMFORTIf you're in the mood for affordable seafood, look no further. Nice atmosphere & Amazing service. Most importantly good food!! You can't go wrong!"
"It has been a minute since I've been to sweet auburn bbq, I don't know why since it's so good, but it is as good as ever. The jalapeno cornbread basket is still amazing, the fatty brisket is still divine, but I have some new favorites, too. -The smoked wings...these are JUICY, the perfect amount of smokiness, and they do not skimp. These are big healthy wings, about 50/50 flats/drums. My dinner buddy and I split a dozen wings, half wu-tang and half buffalo. The buffalo is awesome, as is the wu tang but I am a sucker for OG buffalo wing flavor. Wings from a bbq joint just are on another tier because of the smokiness. Get these!!!-Char siu ribs--a relatively new addition to the menu. Incredible flavor, so moist, can't sing their praises enough. You literally don't need to add sauce, it's so flavorful on its own.-The green bean side--I would have never thought to get green beans here, it seems really random, but these are some of the best green beans I have ever had in my entire life. I really don't know what they're doing to make them so flavorful. I am not going to let as much time pass next time before a return visit."
"I had a situation where I felt uncomfortable and unsafe due to the actions of another patron, and the staff immediately came to my aid and handled things professionally. For that reason alone, Ormsbys has gained me as a new regular and I'll always support them. I truly appreciate how everyone came together to help me and turn my crummy evening around.Oh yeah since I should mention food somehow, the hand-cut fries and dipping sauces made in-house were the perfect bar appetizer."
"Needing a light dessert, I found this fruit shop on a street corner. The location is closer to both the beltline trail and the MLK complex than I would have guessed.I felt a little silly ordering just fruit and missing out on the coconut cream, but realistically, the reason most of us don't eat enough fruit is convenience. Having some fresh fruit cut and peeled appropriately is not nothing, and in a lot of tropical areas (and in NYC, as of recently), this is quite common. I picked the one I got because it had kiwi in it, but there was plenty of variety and I was satisfied that it was a worthwhile choice. They offer some savory food options as well, and between the coconut cream and the vegan sandwich, this place will work for a lot of people with dietary restrictions."
"El Super Pan is located on the first floor of the Ponce City Market. The Latin sounds and tropical vibe drew me in. The offerings were enticing: Cuban style sandwiches, bowls, empanadas, and desserts. I had the Olive Sofrito Chicken Sandwich ($15) and devoured it! The chicken was juicy, tender and pulled, the bread was thin, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, the veggies were fresh and the chimichurri sauce tied it all together. The meat, bread and veggie ratio couldn't have been better!Sandwiches come with a side and I opted for the sweet plantains, which was also delicious. I washed my lunch down with a cup of Cava ($11) and that was a memorable first meal I had in Atlanta!"
"September 2023Service: 3/5Our server was fairly quick and attentive. She constantly walked around, and although I never got my water refill, she brought all orders out. Unfortunately, she never smiled or made direct eye contact once. She did manage to twerk for a couple of other tables, though. It would've been nice to have a warm, greeting human being to human being, I felt like she was disconnected from the environment.Prices: 3/5Prices were as expected for prime Auburn Avenue real estate. We spend about $100 for 2. We had two entrées and several drinks and shots.I believe gratuity was INCLUDED automatically. Ambiance: 4/5The music was set way too loud. I feel like I had eardrum damage leaving this spot, lol. Besides that, we enjoyed the DJ and playlist. People danced for the entire night and we heard the top R&B and hip-hop hits all night long. There was never a dull moment.Taste/Textures: 3/5We ordered two entrées, both with white meat and fish. I am not a fan of the spices and maybe the cooking process, so I was unable to finish eating. My partner enjoyed his and was able to finish it all. We both had a couple of margaritas and 2 shots. Unfortunately, the next three days following this outing was 8/10 pain and diarrhea. We have not pinpointed exactly what caused the stomach virus or whatever.Value: 3/5Pricing was fair . TLDR: For the turn up atmosphere, it's worth a visit . We enjoyed the (too loud) music and the dj and hosts were fun. The food was not cooked to my personal preference , but the chicken was juicy, crispy, and visually pleasing.Unfortunately, my partner and I were sick as dogs for days following this outing; either the food or the alcohol was no bueno."
"Stopped by Righetous 'Que when I was in the area. I periodically like to hunt for the best brisket. I don't think I found that, but I still found a very good meal.Prices at Righteous 'Que are competitive. I really wish I saw the Pat Bowl special. Look at the chalk board that is mid-way between the door and the counter on your way in for potentially interesting specials. Instead, I got a brisket sandwich, fries, and a drink.Biggest highlight of Righteous 'Que is the fact that they have Cherry Coke on the soda fountain. I'll one day make a 100% commitment to not being a fat fool anymore, but til then, Cherry Coke is amazing.Food was good. Portioning of the brisket was more than fair. I just wish it could've been more than meat and bread. A sandwich doesn't have to be too fancy. I would've loved two slices of pickles. An empire was built off a sandwich garnished with only 2 slices of pickles."

Suggestion from my friend...she spoke highly of restaurant. So we meet for breakfast, she was correct with her assessment! Very nice experience from beginning to end. Wonderful service & delicious food. Area seems to be very neighborly & quaint. Highly recommend! Everything was yummy and great portion sizes. Server was very knowledgeable and provided suggestions that were perfect. She was also very comfortable communicating with us & made us feel welcomed as out-of-state visitors.

My favorite go to Breakfast spot!! It gets the job done with great tasty food and the service is awesome. I never wait more than 15 - 20 minutes even on a Sunday Morning when it's packed. Parking is validated at the hostess desk. Patio or indoor dining is available. I have tried almost everything and never had a complaint. I always seem to have leftovers as well.

Came here breakfast, cute place. Pancakes were really good. Service was good, tip is already included as a service charge and our server let us know. Parking lot is small and had filled up when we left.

Amazing creole food, some of the absolute best food in downtown Atlanta! My wife and I stop in any time we're visiting the downtown area. I've had multiple entrees from their lunch/dinner menu, including the pasta yaya, the jambalaya, and the voodoo mac and cheese. You get SO much food for such a good price. We also always get the bread pudding. It's a MASSIVE piece and a great end to the meal.My suggestion is to order ahead on the phone and pick it up, as it can take some time depending on time of day. It's a really nice hidden gem and they deserve your business!

My coworker and his wife swore by this place and they were so so right, Lee's bakery is delicious, unassuming, efficient, everything you could ask for. I got the half and half banh me and pho, also the coffee which was also amazing. Truly, I loved Lee's bakery!

Meh. Nothing special about this place. The salmon I ordered was fine, not dry, but also not incredibly juicy and flavorful. My salad was boring but that's mainly my fault because I asked for no dressing. My husband got the crab cakes and he said they were average... He did have a bite of my kid's cheeseburger and he said that was good. This place got the job done but it won't be a place I dream about and crave in the future.

Sweet auburn is a decent bbq spot near ponce! Parking is pretty rough and there is a parking deck somewhere that they validate, but I couldn't find it so I just street parked.Between the bartenders to waiters and waitresses, the staff there was awesome! Everything was quick and everyone was super nice! The table shared cornbread while I had the brisket platter as my entree with Mac n cheese and slaw. The brisket itself was just ok, but the Mac n cheese was the star of the show so I'd definitely come back just to get that!Overall, sweet auburn is fine if you're looking for a bbq spot in the city, but I do think fox bros down the road is a lot better!

Ormsbys has always been a staple Georgia Tech bar, but I recently checked it out for dinner with a friend back in town. Parkingwise, you can find street parking or park in one of the decks either for Westside Provisions or Interlock. Inside, I usually go downstairs where there's a great bar with games like pool, darts, and backgammon. This time, we sat ourselves upstairs. Our waitress was quick to serve us and was also helpful with letting us know about substitutions. I had the Attila the Hen with a side of sauteed mushrooms. My chicken sandwich was really delicious, juicy, and I loved the flavored mayo! The mushrooms were also delicious. Overall, Ormsbys is always a solid choice!!

"Every now and then, even after almost 13 years in Atlanta, I come across a spot that is a hidden gem and babeeeeeeeee... Not only is Jack's New York Deli a hidden gem, however, it is the definition of GOOD FOOD!I came across Jack's New York Deli as my little sister wanted to try it as she was on her journey for a Good Pastrami sandwich. Though we don't live anywhere near, we chose a day and went for lunch. Jack's New York Deli sits off a Main Street, however, it's tucked off in the corner. Pay attention to your GPS because if you blink too hard, you may pass it. LoL. Walking in, the establishment is super clean. The all glass front provides an ample source of natural light, and they even have patio seating if you choose to enjoy the weather in full. With a traditional sub shop setup, I took a moment to review the menu, then headed to the counter to place my order. With an abundance of choices, it was soooooooooooooo hard not to order every sandwich that I loved. Yet, with keeping my summer body (ha) in mind, I decided on the Chicken Club and a Salad with extra Feta. Baaaaaabyyyyyyyyyy. Wow. All I can say is, Jack's New York Deli understood the assignment. Quality meat. Fresh fixings. Great portions. Crisp salad. And an amazing dressing. I'm talking a true HIT. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING was a miss. The chicken club presented a moist and perfectly golden boneless breast. Juicy tomato. Crisp lettuce. And, perfectly buttered white bread... This sandwich was bite after bite of robust flavor and texture perfection. Paired with the slice of pickle, the chicken club is a true 10/10. The salad was simple yet still above standard. The ingredients were all fresh and nothing was soggy. The salad wasn't just thrown on the plate, however, appeared to be blended as a salad should and paired with the right amount of dressing for the size of the salad. Another 10/10. Last but not least, the service at Jack's New York Deli was spot on. I was greeted upon entry and the staff was engaging and friendly as I placed my order. At this point we're three for three: Food, Cleanliness, and Service. A total WIN!!!!!!Though I live on the other side of town, don't be surprised if you see me at Jack's New York Deli. I'm on a mission to taste the entire menu. Until next time, Jack's New York Deli thank you for my food happiness experience."
"Naturally, (being from Nebraska) we opted for this breakfast spot based solely on the name! We were created by friendly smiling faces for 2 of our 3 mornings in Stone Mountain because we enjoyed Huskers Cafe THAT much. Good coffee, good food, good people- what more could you ask for? The restaurant is located in a strip mall and is a pretty nice and inviting place inside! They serve breakfast and lunch (not sure about dinner). I had their chicken and waffle for my first time there and had the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit the 2nd trip there. The chicken and waffle were great! The chicken was breaded, seasoned, and cooked to perfection and with the waffle and syrup was a perfect pairing! Their syrup comes out in preheated bottles which is a nice touch. Their syrup isn't as sweet as I am accustomed to so keep that in mind. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was amazing. Biscuit is moist and buttery but held its own on the sandwich."
"Reuben greeted me when I walked in the door. He's a chatty guy who has a joke and a smile. I was caught off guard at first being that I am tatted and bearded when he said "we don't serve tattooed bearded guys here", but I quickly played along and we had a great laugh about it. As far as the food, I got the pastrami and was very happy with it. The bread tasted fresh, the meat was cooked well, and everything tasted great. It was a filling lunch that I was not expecting in the heart of Atlanta. The atmosphere is very much a take on a classic deli. Nothing too fancy, just functional enough to remind you of New York. It's the kind of place where you could easily become a regular and have one of those old school relationships with a small busnies"
"I usually go to DaVinci's in Midtown as the last time I went here, the pizza wasn't the best. But my mom was in town and we were at Cumberland Mall, so this one was closer. I placed an order for pickup in the parking lot at Cumberland Mall and by the time we drove over to DaVinci's, the pizza was ready to go!The pizza was hot and delicious! I had my typical BBQ chicken pizza and my mom had a pepperoni and sausage pizza. We both enjoyed every bite of our pizza! Well done! The pizza spot is small and looks exactly how a pizza spot should look. But there isn't much to this location as it's only made for you to go in and pick up the pizza. There is nowhere to eat inside. Also, the employee I interacted with was nice and knew exactly where my pizza was when I went to pick it up. I was in and out! They definitely impressed me from the last time I went!"
"I have probably passed this place a bajillion times. But only when I searched for something other than Asian food on Buford Highway that I found this place. The reviews here are pretty good! And indeed it was: The price, quality, and proportions were great. There was a healthy crowd of people of all ranges here for a Saturday lunch. The place was buzzing with people so that's always a good sign. The hubs decided on the Saturday special: $5.49 all day -- steak sub of your choice of #11, #13, or #19. I ended up with the Italian battalion since it seemed to be the more popular choice as I browsed the photos. At times you have to let your eyes pick your food choice. The hubs seemed to really like his pick of #19. Even though it was a half sandwich, he said it was pretty stuffed and a fairly large one. This was a hot sandwich, and it was a gooey one full of deliciousness. The cheese, onions, and mushrooms just oozed together and added more flavors to the steak. My sandwich was pretty hefty. Despite the bread not being super amazing like it was baked fresh there (still good though), the sandwich overall was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and abundant. It came with extra pressed ham, cooked ham, hard salami, cappacola, pepperoni, and provolone cheese.Overall Baldinos was amazing. And do heed the word giant in their name because giant was indeed what it was. See you again next time!"
"VICTORY IS MINE... easily one of my favorite spots to grab a drink and snack off the beaten path, aka the Beltline. But I'm willing to share! I'd been to the Decatur location many times and heard there was this second one but only visited after my friend lured me in with the temptation of Topo Chico cocktails.Parking isn't easy. But if you're coming here, definitely recommend taking an Uber/Lyft. Otherwise, there's some free parking on the street nearby. There's plenty of indoor seating, but I prefer their covered outdoor seating because it's the epitome of dog friendly. If you don't see a dog outside, something is seriously wrong. I haven't seen the Topo Chico cocktails in a while but one drink that is always on the menu is the Whiskey Coke slushies (I was today years old when I learned they're not called Jack and Coke slushies like I've been calling them all these years YIKES). You haven't REALLY been to Victory Sandwich Bar if you haven't had one or 10 of these. You can get them small or large and even if you're not a big whiskey drinker, you will LOVE these, especially on a hot day. Pair it with some popcorn or a fresh chocolate chip cookie and you've got yourself a party. Can't wait for the summer (aka for this pollen season to END) so I can enjoy a Whiskey Coke slushie in the hot Atlanta humidity."
"Sean's harvest market, I love you! Everytime I visit Atlanta, I have to come here - it's that good. I got the chicken salad sandwich with a side of dill pickle Mac n cheese (please get this side, it's life changing)"
"I wanna love this place, really. I'm going to be in the minority here, but honestly, I don't think it's that great. I know lots of people love this place, but when I went back recently, it wasn't the place I remembered from awhile back. This place is super quaint, running out of an old, historic house. It's very popular for lunch as the line and the small, gravel lot fills up shortly after they open at 11. If you drive into the lot and find it full, good luck backing out. It's tight. In case you miss the signs, there's additional parking at Osteria Mattone.I was pretty excited about the cuban thinking ... a place with pickle in the name serving a sandwich that has good pickle presence ... should be legit. It was good, decent. The creole thing gave it a nice punch. It's just not a cuban. Not on the right bread, not the right kind of pork, etc. The coleslaw I ordered was less like salad and more like soup.Tuna melt was good but again nothing epic. Potato salad definitely not my favorite. Now, I will say those fried pickles breaded in cornmeal and deep-fried are worth coming for. Delicious!"
"The best fried and flakey fish, the crunchiest octopus accompanied by pickled red peppers and onions, crispy shallots and chickpeas in a vinegary sauce and my new favorite oysters! This place really was a great choice. It was almost empty when we sat down, but that didn't deter us, and we were so glad that we did. And not soon after, the place filled up! The service was fantastic, and the food blew us away. We tried 4 different types of oysters, and one was clearly our fave, we ordered a second round! Sassy oysters from Prince Edward Island are THE BEST!"
"What a great experience! A friend and I met at good for lunch wanting some fresh, healthy food. Good delivered! The atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming. The service was fast and efficient, and our server was great! And they serve breakfast all day! My friend got the veggie breakfast bowl. It was fresh and colorful and she really enjoyed it. I got a piece of avocado toast (so good!!), scrambled eggs (light and fluffy), and sweet potato hash (why have I never had this before?). I have thought about this meal all afternoon - it truly made me feel Good! (See what I did there?)The only concern is that parking is tight, but I think you can park across the street. So, do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and check out Good Kitchen!"
"This restaurant is larger than it looks from the outside. Had a little longer than desired wait to be seated but the service once inside was good. My friend had the shrimp and grits that also included chicken sausage. I had the pancakes and sausage. Very good. I would eat here again."
"After visiting a friend in Atlanta one weekend, I felt like getting breakfast delivered before heading out. I happened upon this amazing deli-like cafe. Food-wise, I ordered a breakfast flatbread, potato latke, and raspberry rugelachs. The breakfast flatbread was HUGE deliciousness, every bite so flavorful, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and avocado. The potato latke was just the right amount of crispy. And the rugelach was almost as good as Grandma Rosie's. For the price, there was plenty. Definitely will consider visiting Goldbergs in person next time I'm in Atlanta."
"ordered online using the link from their Website. Received an email back saying to call the restaurant, because there is a problem.Tried calling the restaurant 4 different times in 20 minutes... the line was busy each time.So I went there a few minutes before pickup and the order did not show up yet, but they were able to look up my order number and get my order ready. If you are going to be eating there, you would order from the counter then grab the food when it comes out and then grab a table or booth. The seating area is really clean with ample room.I ordered the Brisket Plate $22.99 and it comes with 2 sides. I got Collard Greens and cabbage. I need to say the cabbage was REALLY good. Stewed perfectly with a hint of butter. The greens were tender and a bit salty... goes really well with the cabbage. Now for the star of the show... the brisket. The only compliant I have was that it was not smoked... no smoke ring. Since I was taking it to go, I asked for utensils... the set came with a knife.... there was no use for the the knife. The brisket was tender and juicy. Just the good ratio of fat to meat. The BBQ sauce that came with it was pretty good... started on the sweet side then there was a very tiny bit of heat at the finish."
"The ambiance at Mission+Market is gorgeous with clean lines and breathtaking throughout. I celebrated my birthday here, and what a treat this was. Upon entry, the hostess was very welcoming and pleasant. No wait time to be seated. Our server was very attentive and engaging. Come to find out, it was also my servers birthday as well. ..Yayyyyy!! Cancer season in full effect. The staff as a whole were eager to please and accommodate our request. The food took a little longer than expected, but when the entrees arrived, the presentation was wonderful. I went with the salmon steak cooked medium, and it was fantastic over a bed of rice grits that was the perfect vehicle to the dish. I was definitely full, but I managed to save room for the complimentary chocolate cake the chef sent over to wish me a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"!! Thank you, Chef Winslade. I would highly recommend Mission + Market if you're looking to have some form of celebration or just hanging out with friends or family. They have complimentary valet parking, and they validate parking for three hours in the Alliance Garage marked number three."
"LOVE YOU LOX! Was craving a bagel. So I looked up some options. Emerald City Bagels located on the East side of Atlanta was one of the top choices. On our vacation in Atlanta we did half touristy stuff, but our main focus was to see the hidden gems that the locals go to. When you first walk inside ECB it looks like an old fashioned pharmacy/soda fountain. All of the employees are dressed to match the theme too. The bagel options are vast. Though they do not have a cinnamon raisin so don't come here prepared for one. You will be disappointed. My partner got a bacon egg and cheese on a blueberry bagel. I got a rosemary sea salt bagel toasted with cream cheese. Both were excellent. Seems this business does a lot of take out as they have an entire wall for online orders. There is not a whole lot of seating inside, so ordering to go might be the best option for some. ECB is definitely a hidden gem and I highly recommend stopping by! They cover all the basics when it comes to what people may want out of a bagel shop. White fish and lox are of course on the menu! If I lived close by this would be the spot I would come to all the time for my bagels. It's also very inexpensive for what you are getting."
"Great food that always tastes freshly made. I love swinging by here for homemade food when I don't feel like cooking myself. Very affordable for the value of food."
"Roughly 9 years ago I came to this spot to get some shawarma. Back then I gave a 4 star review assuming something could go amiss. Needless to say after all these years this place does NOT disappoint. I had a lovely shawarma plate and watched about a dozen people of all races, genders, creeds etc order their food without one look of disappointment. This place is a staple of the Atlanta proper community and wish it never changes and serves the community to its best. Love this place."
"I found this place in Seated, and if you don't know what that is, I would highly recommend you checking it out for discounts here and other great restaurants in Atlanta...Use my link below to sign up and you'll get a $10 bonus after your first meal (and I'll get $10)!https://seated.app.link/QqvwwlETnhb. Referral code jon1154. This place has a great discount on there and we got a tremendous discount here.Aside from that, the food and service was excellent and kept us coming back! The mussels are a MUST. The portion is huge and the sauce is amazing. Even my 2 and 4 year old loved it. I keep coming back for that alone. I also have ordered the whole fish zambrano which was very tasty as well and came with hearts of palm which I enjoyed a lot too. On the service side, I have never had a bad experience, and the staff has loved my little girls. Really positive experience every time!"
"While being on a kick for delicious Vietnamese food, this place is closer to us and one that we have visited often for pho. I like how I can understand what's in the broths for the pho. They offer lots of options, but if you want something besides pho, they have it. The other nice thing is that you can get it delivered. while that's not how I recommend it, sometimes, you just don't feel like sitting in a restaurant. It is kid friendly too and a great place to introduce kids to different foods."
"Good sandwiches, nice service. Your sandwich is made to order. I am a to go person and the waiting area can get full with people waiting for orders. The meats and bread are tasty/fresh."
"3.5 ~ I had been wanting to try Skip's for four years now. My hubby and I originally thought we might end up in Avondale Estates upon moving to GA, so it would've been convenient. We ended up not moving to that area, and I forgot about this place for a little bit. Time passed and I had tried Baby Al's a few times - which I'm a big fan of and which is much closer to me. A few months ago, my mom and I decided to order a delivery lunch from here. We got the Italian beef dipped with cheese, a tamale, onion rings, and a pizza puff to share. Everything arrived hot and fresh even with the distance. The Italian beef was good and flavorful. It was not as big as the ones I get from Baby Al's though. The pizza puff was delicious. I know it's just a microwaveable good, but I hadn't had one in forever, so it was nice for the nostalgic factor. The onion rings were perfectly breaded and cooked but had no seasoning on them. Finally, the tamale was not at all what I expected. It was very small and not really impressive at all. It's not far off from the canned kind if you've ever tried that, just a step up on freshness. Overall, it was a decent meal. They do not seem to have mild sauce as I requested some if available, but none was given. I would get the Italian beef again and pizza puff if I'm in the area, but do not recommend the onion rings or tamales. The Chicago dogs on the site look good, but once again, I usually go to Baby Al's for my Chicago food fix. I still need to try Fingerz and Rickettes one day as I've heard good things about both places as well. Having lived in Chicago for 2.5 years, so far Baby Al's is more on point with what I'm used to, but this isn't a bad spot by any means. I would go with the Chicago dogs from what I've seen or Italian beef if you're in the neighborhood."
"A ton of delicious donut shops are popping up in Atlanta but Hero is definitely my HERO. When Hero moved into Summerhill, I was skeptical about a donut chain coming into Atlanta - and boy was I wrong. I love a soft brioche donut and Hero Doughnuts are definitely soft and fluffy. Grab a kolache (jalapeño is my fave!) or a homewood donut (strawberries and creme is a classic combo). Parking is available in the back and on the street, but there's also plenty of free public parking all around Summerhill. PRO TIP #1: cinnamon rolls are only available on Saturdays, so get them before they sell out! PRO TIP #2: they've got mimosas and aperol spritzes for $7 on the menu on weekends which is the perfect way to start the day with a donut. Can't wait to stop in again for more brioche donuts and brunch cocktails soon!"
"Stop reading this review. Get thee to Shorty's. We've been here several times and they always get everything right. You might not know it from looking at the place, but someone in that kitchen is paying very close attention to what's on the menu and how it is cooked. For instance, they make their own bread. The pizzas are wood-fired. And nothing on the menu is an afterthought. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. Just get what sounds good to you and hang out for a bit with the adult beverage of your choice. The pizza will take a bit of time, but you'll forget the time when it arrives at your table all hot, fresh, and tasty. One day we decided to try something other than pizza. I can't remember what my friends had because I was completely enamored of the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. That reminded me of an old favorite I'd had at another restaurant, and I'm happy to have found this deliciousness at Shorty's. I can't wait for my next visit here. Holler if you're coming with."
