"I have seen this place dozens of times and have always wanted to try it!! I had been at soccer game at Mercedes Benz late that evening and we came back and we were hungry! They weren't too busy and they were happy to seat our party of 4!We ordered some beers and the wait staff was extremely nice!! We ordered 2 orders of the wings and the fries and this was phenomenal. The wings were Korean fusion and the fries were crispy and well seasoned just stellar!!Would totally recommend for late night bites and I can't wait to come back for another meal."

"My friends brought me here on a Friday night after I landed in Atlanta! There's not many tables inside so we did wait around 25 minutes for a table. There's also covered patio sitting, which is where we ended up. Prior to sitting down we hung around the bar and had some beers. They were tasty and served at the right temperature. To eat we shared an order of blue cheese chips. So damn delicious! I'm pretty sure the chips were homemade as well. On top of the chips was huge blue cheese crumbles, tomato, cilantro and bacon. It was so yummy I'm salivating thinking about it. MmmTo eat I ordered grilled cheese and added tomato. It was a very yummy grilled cheese. With the grilled cheese came fries and a thin tomato dipping sauce. It was so delicious and creative. Like grilled cheese and tomato soup...but a sauce instead of soup. Fries were good as well. Service was just okay, not terrible, but just okay. Prices are decent. For the grilled cheese, two beers and the chips it was only $20."
"Wheelhouse Pub is ok with me. We stopped in not expecting much but a few decent drinks and some small bites but after looking at other reviews we decided to try the menu. Maken cheese balls for starters, they need salt but they get an A for effort. The fish was cod. A very generous portion fried to perfection, accompanied with fries. The fish tacos were very tasty also. My baked potato could have been a little more "loaded" but all and all no complaints. A small private parking lot is here but I can't help to wonder what the situation is when they get a big crowd. Service was great. Thanks Mandy"
"Dog friendly patio: check. Good solid bar food: check. Plenty of tv's: check. Tasty drinks: check. So overall, the perfect chill spot for a bite to eat in East Atlanta. After grabbing beers at Hippin Hops down the street, we decided to grab some REAL food but would also allow the pups, so our friends suggested The Midway Pub. Definitely super dog friendly, as there were already a few dogs on the patio when we arrived. We ordered inside at the register, I am a sucker for a greasy patty melt and that was exactly what I got, with a side of tots. And i don't mean that in a negative connotation at all. It was solid and perfect for soaking up the alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, they had boozy slushies going so of course I had to order one. The Midway Pub is the perfect spot for dog friendly sport watching hanging with solid food and drink!"
"We came to Brewhouse Cafe on a Saturday afternoon to catch up with a friend. This was recommended by the friend, and since i'd never been I figured why not?I've passed by Brewhouse Cafe hundreds of times, and if you've been down moreland, so have you, as they're located at the corner of Moreland ave and Euclid ave. There's indoor as well as outdoor seating, with a large patio. They're also dog friendly, so bring the pup if you got one. Parking is a smallish lot that seems like it could get pretty full pretty quickly, however we found parking. For this day we were just getting appetizers, and we ordered/split wings. We ordered the Jumbo lemon pepper wings for $9.95. The jumbo wings came with 6 wings, and weren't exactly jumbo. They seemed regular size to me. The seasoning on these wings are aggressive, as in you'll need to drink water after each wing! My problem with the wing is they weren't crispy at all. They were very plump in the middle, juicy even, but no crisp or crunch when you chomped down. That's kinda a thing for me.Positives about Brewhouse? If you're interested in a game or any sporting event, there are screens all over the place with lots of seating and bar food/beer for days. Staff are also pretty cool...even the owner stopped by to check in on us and others!I just don't think the food quality matches the price or quantity of food provided, and there's just too many places in and around the area to keep coming back just for the food. Great sport events watching spot...just okay wings"

Meh. Nothing special about this place. The salmon I ordered was fine, not dry, but also not incredibly juicy and flavorful. My salad was boring but that's mainly my fault because I asked for no dressing. My husband got the crab cakes and he said they were average... He did have a bite of my kid's cheeseburger and he said that was good. This place got the job done but it won't be a place I dream about and crave in the future.

My post deleted, but the older gentleman who is a bar tender was so down to earth, informative, and assistive! I like how they're special menu items were out- means they're good. It's great for cocktails, casually hanging out, but also events! I was most impressed by the food menu being so diverse and not a typical pub!

Cozy little place in a hidden little location. Limited but nice parking lot which is always helpful in Atlanta. Love the feel of the place- small, dark and wooden with low lights and art. Limited space but great for a cold night or cozy date with friends or loved ones. We used to go here for tiki Tuesday to get the free fun cup but I've since moved away from sugary drinks- they have a nice pink and liquor selection too. Pretty fair prices. The food while sometimes very fried and pub-like is very veggie friendly. Their burger is decent and I like the cheese plate, hummus and soups/sides. Tastes homemade. Service varies for sure.

While I don't think I got to truly experience Midway Pub in the way it was meant to be experienced, I really liked what I got.So due to COVID, everything was outside which was the biggest change I assume in the establishment. You walk up to a counter, order, and if you want to leave a tab open you could. Once your order is ready (both drink and food) they call your name and you pick it up. There is very little human interaction here due to the regulations.I got their Chicken sandwich and a Greek salad. The chicken sandwich was so spicy. I like a spicy chicken sandwich and this was it! I only wish I had more to drink to cool down my mouth. The Greek salad was great, but the only thing I didn't like was that there were so many hot peppers in there. Like TONS! For my drink, I got their hard apple cider which was my favorite thing of the night. I had two it was so good. Perfect for a cool night in Atlanta. The downside to their COVID set up is everything is line based so if you've got a tab open you have to get in the same line as the people who never ordered to either get another drink or close it out. So there tends to be a lot of standing around if it gets busy. I'm thankful they were open, so believe me I'm not saying anything truly bad about it, but it was a pain point in an overall great experience. I can't wait to come back once things are better and truly experience this place.

I wanted to get a nice beer at lunch and what beer place than Gibney's pub. A short walk from most hotels downtown on the first floor of the Peachtree center. It is a nice pub vibe and decorated with tons if signs and a nice bar to sit at. There is a newer golden tee golf here and billiards as well. Not busy during my visit. They had many types of beer on tap but I wanted a black and tan and it was very smooth. Really enjoyed it. I decided on a very un pub like BBQ sandwich. It was actually quite tasty and was a very good quality pulled pork and a not too sweet nor spicy BBQ sauce. The fries were excellent crisp and tasty as well. It also comes with a small portion of Cole slaw as well. The service was friendly and quick and I really enjoyed my lunch here.

Cool little bar... it was pretty slow when I went on a Friday night. Service was pretty good they bartender was very attentive. I would describe it as a quaint neighborhood bar. It was a good vibe. Didn't have food but there is the regular menu then a late night menu. I would absolutely go back here for drinks.

"This place has never disappointed when in Atlanta. This burger is outstanding!! The FF have even been improved. Service remains fast. The place plays great music and there are plenty of TVs.This is a MUST GO IN ATLANTA! Burger was so good, I didn't even add Heinz ketchup!"
"Saturday brunch and we're starting our day of drinking across Atlanta. There's a neat vibe here that is half sports bar and half dive bar. On Saturday at 11:30, we weren't the only ones who had started drinking.I ordered off the brunch menu, choosing the brisket hash. My friend chose the gyro with tots and I think she had the better meal. Mine was roasted potatoes and onions with pieces of brisket drizzled with an overly sweet barbecue sauce. I'm sure some folks love this - I found it only okay and wouldn't choose it again. The gyro looked great though the cold tzatziki sauce turned the sliced meat into just warm. Big portion of tots with it though and they were perfect.Fun spot and I would like to return for evening drinks.[Review 20042 overall - 642 in Georgia - 1017 of 2023.]"
"Great dinner last night at the end of a busy but good week. This is basically a pub VS. Bar kind of spot. The service was excellent, parking was ample, and the food was decent. The soup of the day was ham and white beans and it was okay but needed a little more seasoning. It was served lukewarm. The Teriyaki Salmon was good and cooked to my liking but the Teriyaki sauce is a little overpowering. It would be better if it was cooked with the salmon and not just placed on top. The sushi rice and veggies were delicious. We didn't get dessert. It's a nice, casual, and decent spot. It very much has a neighborhood hangout feel."
"Came here to get a meal after leaving the High Museum. We sat at a table upstairs and grabbed a few drinks with our food. The drinks were good. However, the food was just ok. We got mussels, a jerk bacon quesadilla and fries. The food was bad but I didnt taste the bacon on the quesadilla. It was mostly spice without tons of flavor. However, the fries were pretty good. If I was in the area then i'd go back but would try different items."
"Was looking for another restaurant downtown ATL, found it and it was closed. So, since we had street parking we decided to venture the strip and found a small pub with a nice crowd (for a Sunday) Whelan's. They are serving endless mimosa from 11-3pm for $15 and the locals we're taking advantage. We order the chilli tai wings, these were really delicious tender, juicy and flavorful also a Caesar Salad and a Whalen Salad with steak. Jenny our waitress was amazing 5ft 4 in of personality. Oh, did I mention that we had mimosas also. The ambiance is much like an Irish pub, loud (endless mimosas) but welcoming and friendly. Oh one note there is a 18% gradtudity on each order... nevertheless happy we stumbled into this establishment."
"Great drinks and food with a variety of atmospheres and vibesDog and pet friendly upstairs and downstairs patiosLive music, Tv setup and atmosphere upstairs (ROOFTOP and its shaded areas are awesome) are funDownstairs is nice, speakeasy vibes. Great for group events or relaxing date night Mikayla upstairs did a great job. Owner/ management present and working too. Good team"
"I don't understand the bad reviews. I was recently at SFU and had a great experience. This location is just as good as the previous location if not better. The patio is great and the inside is nice. I ordered the fish and chips (fries) and thought they were great. The fish was nice and flaky and crispy. I would definitely recommend them. The Po Boy looked great as well. We sat at the bar so the service was relatively quick. We didn't wait too long for anything. I will definitely be back."
