"Parking is in the back. The place looks like it is designed for carry out but there is some seating on the inside. This block is called Little Italy because there are like 4 restaurants that share parking. I think all 4 venues serve Italian food.Authentic venue with everything made from scratch in the back. Pizza was delicious. I ordered the Lasagna Pizza with a cannoli on the side. The pizza is thin crust with lite sauce. The ingredients mix really well together. Taste is off the charts but the pie is not that filling. Cannoli is pretty tasty.Condiment bar in the back has different seasonings and toppings to put on your pie."
"Yelp check-in = 20% off, what an amazing offer, thank you!Update - Limited "good" restaurant selections within walking distance from the hotel, so we came back on day 2. BTW, some areas in downtown Atlanta are NOT safe, so pay attention to your surroundings and I do NOT suggest engaging with the people approaching you for $$$.Quality/Quantity - Spicy Sicilian Pizza - Good, mild spicy. Decent size, enough for two light eaters. I would have preferred the crust to be baked a little longer. The sauce runs through the dough making it too limp. See picture. My daughter would have preferred more dough.Veal Bolognese - Good flavors. My wife felt the pasta was undercooked. My daughter and I were okay with it. It would have been nice to have had some bread to soak up all that sauce.Tiramisu - My wife really liked this.Creature Comforts Automatic Pale Ale; Athens, Georgia - I, of course, had to wash the good food with a local beer. Day 2: Just my wife and I; my daughter had an event to attend.Pizza Amalfi - I wanted to try their signature pizza this time. It was very similar to the Spicy Sicilian Pizza. I think the biggest difference was the sweet jam, to me.Nonna's Spaghetti and Meatballs - My wife wanted a red sauce pasta, and they have limited red sauce options. The noodles were different from the spaghetti that I am accustomed to. They were like spaghetti and angel hair style noodles. Everything else was just okay, not good or bad, just plain spaghetti.I sampled both local beers today and settled for the same local Creature Comfort Automatic Pale Ale as before. Guess I am a creature of old habits. Also available - Full bar, wine, etc. Also available - Lunch and kids menu.Atmosphere - Small restaurant, but crazy busy.We were told to wait 45 minutes, but they did not text us until over an hour later. Good thing we had happy hour today; see Ray's in the City review.Your exterior sign is so faded, can I suggest replacing it?(Day 2 - Wow, guess you listened. A new sign on day two; see picture!)Walk down a narrow cool decorated hallway and up some stairs through a crowd of people waiting to get a table to leave your name and # with the hostess.Open kitchen, also known for their pizza oven.Their pasta is also made in-house; see picture.Table, booth, bar, etc. seating.Clean bathrooms; see picture.Open 7 days a week from 11:30am till 10pm or 11pm, Sundays only open for dinner.Day 2 - What a contrast to our first visit. Came early today as I did not want a late dinner before my early fight tomorrow. Almost NO customers the entire time I was here today... I do know that the local hotels had an off site event, so thousands of people left the area. Service - I totally understand that we got the last seating and could tell that our server was tired and probably done for the day. Other servers still seemed to have energy though. Had to remind our server that my beer was still sitting at the bar after 20 minutes. Had to ask him to take our order. Had to have someone get him to refill our water, etc... I did not dock this review because of him.Day 2 - Service was better. But then we got some disgusting beer sample glasses! How can both the bartender and waiter not notice? And the other glass was cracked, a huge danger to guests. The waiter gave me a new beer sample, but NOT a good start for day 2. The rest of the service was okay.I believe the manager walked by and said hi to us; a nice guy. But because it was such a slow business day today, can I suggest someone check and wash the glassware? Most of the team was just standing around talking amongst themselves.Price - $51+ probably more generous tip than deserved; GREAT value with the Yelp check-in of 20% off. Our dinner was actually less expensive than our lunch. Also less expensive than our happy hour.Day 2 - $41 + generous tip.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2016 and with your two locations."

"Visited this cute restaurant on a sunny day and it was the perfect choice for the afternoon. We sat on the patio next to the busy street and enjoyed the views during our visit.Hayley was our server and she was such a sweetheart. She was always checking in on us, made some wonderful recommendations and she was extremely patient. We ended up going with calamari, a margarita pizza w/ chicken on half for him, an espresso martini and a cold beer. We didn't have to wait long at all for our order. I'm always nervous about trying espresso martinis at new places but wow. This one was a winner. Not too much the liquor overpowering the flavor but enough that I knew it was present and potent. The calamari was just okay but I also talked so long that it may have a temperature thing with me. The pizza was great, we should have ordered a bigger one lol.I'd definitely return and check out what else they're serving up."
"The location, the service, the food, the ambiance all rank a solid vibration at this one of a kind pizzeria. I need lessons was the single line that popped in my head when I watched the chef stretch the dough to make the pie. Where I grew up in San Francisco, pizzerias in my neighborhood would stretch and soon that dough to perfection. I too want to learn that phenomenal experience. This restaurant is top notch with a menu to match. The owner takes his quality ingredients along with a side of heart and soul to please your palate. Don't take this step lightly, it's trend setting and more pizzerias should embrace this concept. Better ingredients healthier food is what life evolves around. Why waste time investing in anything less from a business perspective and from a patrons expectations? At Varasanos pizzeria, customers will get higher quality and some of the best tasting pizza in the entire state of Georgia. In my opinion. You'll have to find out for yourself. Come solo or bring a group, you will not face disappointment"
"I absolutely love this restaurant, no matter the season. It's possible to get same day reservations and the inside sunroom is the best option for winter months and later fall months. In the sunroom you'll find a heater by each table which add to the ambiance. My favorite go to dishes are the Lasagnette alla Vegetariana, Margherita Pizza, Vegetariana Pizza, and the Shrimp Alfredo. Every dish is always hot you can see the steam coming off your food. The Alfredo is creamy, the shrimp are cooked to perfection no where have I found Alfredo Pasta better than Novo. Lasagnette alla vegetariana is full of flavor with the variety of vegetables you honestly you won't miss or need any meat or protein in this dish. Before you leave you must have the Gelato icecream it's original to this restaurant and it's authentic."
"I've driven past Slim & Husky's all the time on West Midtown but finally went to check it out! I was looking to order some takeout pizza on a Friday night, and decided to finally try this spot. Ordering online was super easy and we decided to go pick it up. I loved that they had parking for Slim & Husky's pickup which was super convenient. We walked in and I loved the murals on the walls and how spacious it was! I would definitely love to dine in at some point. The staff was super nice, letting us know our order was up next and showing us everything when we picked it up, making sure our order was just right. We also love how involved they seem with their community and are happy to support a black-owned business! I ordered the PREAM which was PHENOMENAL. I also love the option for a smaller sized, slim pizza. This was the perfect size for me. My roommate and I also got a couple cinammon rolls to share. We got the Too Short Cakes (strawberry shortcake) and this was SO GOOD!! Not overly sweet and the perfect size. I can't wait to go back to Slim & Husky's again!!"
"Pizza party at Fellini's!After a fun day out in the sun, my boo and I had pizza on our mind and thought it'd be the perfect day to have our first taste of Fellini's. Yes, I know, embarrassing to admit lol but I'm still eating my way around ATL after a year+ as a resident and he lives outside of the metro so please, forgive us lol. I'll say this. It won't be our last visit. Fellini's is hard to miss when you're driving up the road, as the vintage sign out front shouts my name every time I pass by. Finding parking right out front wasn't difficult despite the busy afternoon that we visited. We parked and headed inside, surprisingly met with a packed dining room (but not crowded) full of excited pizza fans. Beyond the guests, my eyes darted towards towers of pizza boxes (folded and unfolded) and the partially open kitchen where two cooks were tossing up some pies with glee. We ventured to the cashier and took time to review the great variety of toppings and pizza styles, so much info for one as hungry as myself. After consulting with each other for a bit, we decided on a medium veggie pizza with a few additional toppings. Ordering with the sweet cashier was easy as pie and we took the only open table to chill as we waited for our order. About 15min or so later, a pizza came up and the team member shouted out, "NICK!" No one answered so she put the pizza to the side. Then she calls the name out again. Finally my bf asks what's on the pizza and finds out that it's ours lol. Spoiler alert: his name isn't Nick and isn't anywhere near Nick LOLOL but - we got the pizza, that's what matters LOLWe decided to take our boxed pizza out on their patio which offered tables covered in umbrellas which were heavenly with the heat of this summer.! Our pizza toppings were correct down to the omissions and additions, and incredibly fresh. Like, straight out of the oven because my greedy a** almost burnt my tongue off trying to eat it too quickly and I'd do it again! We loveddd this pizza, I totally understand the hype now. I was even surprised when my partner told me that he loved it even more than our other fave pizza spot in town (that he also loves lol). What a (delicious) win!"
"We've ordered many times through delivery but never had a chance to actually eat at the restaurant until now! Lots of parking available and space inside. The menu includes appetizers (like fried ravioli), salads, special features, pizzas and both italian and pasta specialties. While their dishes are around $20, the portion sizes are pretty huge and you will be guaranteed to have leftovers. Our table came with a basket of fresh garlic knots/rolls which were so yummy!Chicken Parmesan ($20): our go to item. You get two pieces of chicken that is nicely fried over a bed of spaghetti noodles with sauce on top. The meat isn't dry and there's plenty of sauce. Our favorite thing to do is to mix these noodles with the fettucine alfredo - it makes such a delicious sauce!Spaghetti with meat sauce (+ a meatball $2, total $19): classic meat sauce. What surprised me was the meat ball and how juicy and flavorful it was!Blackened alfredo pasta with shrimp ($28): we typically get the fettucine alfredo with shrimp but decided to change it up a bit and get the blackened version. It's essentially the same thing except you're paying an extra $3 for the blackened seasoning they sprinkle on top. It's good but I don't think is $3 extra worth. I would opt for the original, they give you a generous portion of shrimp and the sauce is delicious Overall, I think this place hits the spot if you're craving classic Italian dishes. Recommend with the chicken parmesan and the fettucine alfredo - come hungry!"
"My friends and I came here on a beautiful Saturday for lunch. They were running out of seats that had shade but we luckily got one of the last tables. There's also plenty of indoor seating that seems to have good circulation as a back up option. We split their Wings rafi style with a side of ranch and buffalo sauce plus their 10" Sweet & Spicy Pizza. The wings were baked perfectly with a tender interior and slightly crisp exterior. I enjoyed having the sauces on the side for they retained their texture and each bite could be altered. For my first time having Detroit style pizza, I was instantly a fan! You get this thick soft crust that is nice and crunchy on the underside. I really liked how the sweet honey balanced the salty pepperoni. Overall, it was a perfect experience given the weather, location, food, and kind staff. Would love to come again and try more styles of their pizza and wings!"
"Can't believe I haven't reviewed this business yet! I've been to Howell's numerous times and every visit has been pleasant. Ironically, the last time I had food from there was after ordering via UberEats so these are the only pics I have for now.The menu consists of elevated bar food and delicious pizzas, beyond your ordinary options. The cocktail menu is also well thought out. For my delivery order, I kept it simple with a Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. I always come here for my mozzarella stick fix because I like the slight smoky flavor and how these are more like logs than little sticks. Really, all the food is solid. And I love the ambiance...not too stuffy but far from a hole in the wall. And everyone's been super friendly every time I've been here."
"I usually go to DaVinci's in Midtown as the last time I went here, the pizza wasn't the best. But my mom was in town and we were at Cumberland Mall, so this one was closer. I placed an order for pickup in the parking lot at Cumberland Mall and by the time we drove over to DaVinci's, the pizza was ready to go!The pizza was hot and delicious! I had my typical BBQ chicken pizza and my mom had a pepperoni and sausage pizza. We both enjoyed every bite of our pizza! Well done! The pizza spot is small and looks exactly how a pizza spot should look. But there isn't much to this location as it's only made for you to go in and pick up the pizza. There is nowhere to eat inside. Also, the employee I interacted with was nice and knew exactly where my pizza was when I went to pick it up. I was in and out! They definitely impressed me from the last time I went!"
"Such a good experience! We got there shortly after they opened so there was a lot of activity inside as they prepped for the day. We ordered a margherita pizza and a San Genaro and both came out within 10 minutes and were piping hot and fresh and delicious. They also h e a gelato stand and cafe so I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was only like $5 and so delicious!"

My girlfriend visiting from Miami was excited for pizza, so after our visit to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Antico just made perfect sense. As someone who's not a huge pizza fan, it's been a while since I've been to Antico, but I remember it's been an enjoyable experience every time. I've only ever visited the Midtown location but am glad you can get your own piece of Antico at multiple locations throughout the metro Atlanta area now. Although parking at this busy location in the heart of Midtown can be challenging, we lucked out at 8pm on a Thursday evening and were able to park pretty easily. Once you enter this location, expect a short line where you'll order at the register. After ordering, walk to the huge dining area in the back of the restaurant where you can watch experts making your pizza, wash your hands in an industrial sink, grab pizza toppings, and choose a shared seating bench area. My girlfriend and I decided to order two pizzas as we anticipated leftovers. We picked my two favorites:- San Gennaro: Italian sausage, Sweet Red Peppers, Bufala Mozzarella, Garlic, Cipollini Onions- Diavola: Spicy Salami, Calabrian Peppers, Bufala Mozzarella, GarlicBoth pizzas were incredibly delicious! They came out hot and fresh - even if you get these to go, you've got to eat a slice or two there. The toppings are fresh and delicious and oh wow, the cheese! Pro tip: the best topping is the fresh garlic! Overall, I'm glad I got a refresher on how delicious Antico pizza is and will try not to wait so long before returning again!

IM NOT STROGANOFF TO RESIST YOU! Today marks my six year anniversary with my partner. It's crazy how time has flown. I found Amalfi Cucina & Mercato on Yelp, where else... and decided to make a reservation. This Italian restaurant is NEXT LEVEL! Meaning before the owner opened this restaurant he traveled to Italy to get the correct experience before opening this Italian restaurant. The menu is phenomenal it offers so many different things. From pasta and pizzas to salads and much much more. I ordered the Veal Piccata as I didn't always get to eat that when I am home. It was delicious. Though I did not like that it came with spaghetti noodles. Typically this dish as it is pretty rich, it will come with mashed potatoes or rice. Something that will complement the dish, not make it richer. When we were sitting here and eating, it did not feel like I was in Atlanta Georgia. It felt like we were in an Italian restaurant in NYC. It's awesome to have a different kind of eating experience at least once in a while. Overall, this restaurant is the read deal! Traditional Italian food. Made in house with an open kitchen. 100% recommend, but MAKE A RESERVATION! That will save you some time!

We tried this place for the first time for dinner today. We were seated right away on a Saturday night, which was great. We sat outside on their patio. We tried their vegetarian pizza, bruschetta, fried eggplant appetizer, and their salmon with black rice and salad. Pizza was good and salmon was just as expected. Everything arrived fast and service for good. Below are photos of the food. Was the best pizza or salmon entree? No but it was still great to deserve 4 stars.

Came here for the first time and added sweet peppers and mushrooms to my pizza. I do like how thin the pizza crust is but thought the crust was a tad too thin for me. The pizza dough tasted nice and overall pizza was good but to be great I definitely felt it was lacking sauce and cheese, it needed more. If I come again I'd request those modifications.Service was excellent. The person that helped was Aout and she was lovely. Shot out to her!

I have lost the count of even how many times I have beeen to this place. This is an amazing place. Let's start with the food first: we mostly have a set menu, we start with margarita pizza and before you think it's just a pizza- it's heaven, so fresh and full of flavors. Then in main course we order Tagliatelle ai Funghi- this is so delicious, white sauce is not overly cheesy and right amount. Also, we get Risotto Mantecato which is caramelized onion risotto, it's great with slight sweetness, not my favorite but my husband likes it (Last time we ordered it I felt rice was a tad less cooked) . The other risotto is Risotto ai Funghi - like it so much! The mushrooms and sauce is yum. For dessert - we get tiramisu- it's little more creamy than usual, it's nice would nothing super extraordinary but omg gelatos they have are amazing! My favorite is pistachios. Service: this varies, we have gotten from very extraordinary services to average service. Never got bad service Ambiance - super nice. Relaxing and not super fancy. People dress mostly casual. If you are in this area defiantly try it out. One tip: for dinner never go without reservation- you will be disappointed otherwise.

Love, love, love Slim n Huskey's. Found them in Nashville and was super happy when they came to Atlanta. This spot is spacious and bright. The customer service is great. Very helpful. The food ..they have the best pizza. I just tried their wings the other week and had to come back for a repeat. I got the dry lemon pepper last time. This week I got the wet. I think I like the dry better. The wet were good but the dry were so flavorful and crispy.

Place is a gem! Iconic Atlanta slice shop. They keep it real and simple. Best ever after the bars of Little 5 points. Get the everything..,add Shaky cheese...add garlic powder...add garlic powder...add chili flakes. Add a Creature Comforts brew...dip the crust in your beer!!!Great service at counter. Cool place with lots of history in this one...the original!!!

Pretty solid pizza. Great garlic knots. Service was excellent I'd go back if I was in the area. Would love to try the pastas. They looked great. Note: meatless Friday.

"Some might prefer a New York style pie, others like Neapolitan and a few midwesterners will swear by deep dish. Buckhead Pizza opened in 2008 and aims to define an Atlanta style pizza, with several locations now across the city.Regardless which style of pizza one desires, a few things about pizza should be consistent. The quality of crust is perhaps the most important factor to consider and this is where Buckhead Pizza struggles the most. A very cardboard like consistency that is simply unpleasant and largely tasteless. It's somewhat reminiscent of old Domino's crusts back in early 2000s and while I'd hope the that Buckhead Pizza is less synthetic than the big chains, the bottom line is that the recipe needs a lot of work. The rest of ingredients were fairly as expected, but pepperoni was minimal and even the cheese does not taste great, with odd artificial aftertaste. All around, Buckhead Pizza is a disappointment on the pizza quality itself on a delivery experience. Perhaps dining in is better."
"I did not get any photos :( I was with a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. The place is small but they accommodated our group amazingly. We were immediately greeted and a table was created for us. We needed to feed the kids first, so ordered garlic knots and cheese pizza. They understood the assignment and left our tab open and got on the pizza. We ordered a salad and 3 pastas to share- Fettuccini Alfredo- Eggplant Parmagiano- Carbonara without the meatThey provided suggestions for our group! The potions were large. We were given extra bowls, tongs, and plates for our large group. Our meal with 1 large pizza, 2 orders or garlic knots, 1 large salad, and 3 pastas was $140 including tip.Service was great! Wanted to try the pizza by the slice but the pasta was great and I was so full!Thank you for accommodating!"
"Came here on a Friday night to see the place more than half-way full. There are both indoors and outdoor seats (with space heaters) available to pick from. I shared an Insalata Mista Sapori, Tagliatelle alla Sorrentina, and Filetto pizza. The salad was well dressed and topped with the fun grape, goat cheese, and nut. For the pasta, though, I found it to be overly salted but still tasty. The filetto pizza was essentially a margarita pizza but with cherry tomatoes on a thin crust which was pretty authentic for what I've tried. Overall, I had a good experience with the food quality and the service being attentive. I wouldn't mind coming again if I was in the area but I would like to try a different dishes instead but still the salad."
"Had a craving for a pizza slice so I stopped by this location. It has plenty of parking which was convenient since its on a busy road. I ordered a slice of white pizza and added pepperoni. I asked the baker to only place it in the oven for half the normal time. He let me see the slice before boxing it to make sure it was cooked to my liking. The slice was great. Really cheesy and helped sooth my pizza craving."
"My mom and I came here on a Friday afternoon while she was visiting in town. I had intentions of trying this out since it is so conveniently located and has appeared to be of a quaint style. We opted to sit outside after speaking with the kind hostess but we honestly should have been inside due to the incessantly relentless flies. I am not sure if this is an issue all year around or if we came at a bad time. After requesting some suggestions from our kind waitress, we tried their Fried Fresh Mozzarella which came out piping hot an deliciously fried. Both their Seafood Linguini and Chicken Marsala dishes each had two long slices of soft and chewy dipping bread. As perfect for soaking up the yummy sauces, they probably would have been better on separate plates since they quickly become soggy if left on the main plate. Between the two dishes, they were both heavily seasoned, with slightly more salt than necessary, but still well-rounded dishes. Overall, we had a pleasant experience were it not for the interested insects. I will certainly be coming again and suggest others to do the same!"
"I very much like this place. Super casual, friendly, and the food is always good. But I must quote my friend, the one who introduced me to Vintage Pizzeria some years ago. She says they have, "delicious food, friendly atmosphere, and amazing service. The food is crunchy and gooey and meaty and cheesy and wonderful."I asked what made the atmosphere at Vintage different from any other pizza place and my friend replied: "The lady that usually takes care of me there remembers my name and is always smiling and happy to see me."My friend's go-to meal here is an extra crispy Stromboli with pepperoni bacon and spinach. She says, "It is consistently good. I've never had a bad meal or a bad time there." Truly, neither have I. My wife and I have been several times, and whether you're having the pizza or some pasta, you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. My wife and I usually split a Caesar salad and it is plenty for the both of us before we get to our entrée. Oh, and there are daily/weekly specials, and lunch specials that are worth examining. Some nights are busier than others. Maybe it's trivia night, or maybe the local softball gang just got done playing, or maybe the breeders are all out with their spawn. But this has never seemed stopped us from getting service and food pretty quickly. I'm not a beer drinker, but the beer list seems pretty decent and I'm sure they change it up with some regularity. Plus there is a full bar if you desire something with more punch and flavor. It's easy to see why Vintage is a neighborhood favorite. Holler if you want to meet me there."
"I loved my visit. Food is great and the service is very pleasant. This place is in a strip mall and can be seen from traffic. This is an Italian restaurant that is pretty authentic. I ordered the Taglierini norcina. The meal is very filling and tasty. I believe it is angel hair pasta with mild sausage and alfredo sauce. The bread with olive oil is very decent. The meal was too big to eat in one sitting. I had to get a take home container."
"We came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Our waiter was great and very attentive. She was also very helpful in helping my future mother-in-law decide on a dish since she wasn't very familiar with Italian food. It was pretty quiet in the restaurant, only us and another table were inside while there were about 4 different groups on the patio. The Paglia E Fieno was everything I needed today; the Parmesan, the tagliolini, wild mushrooms and truffle cream sauce were a perfect blend. I didn't need to add any salt or pepper to the dish after I'd stayed eating. This is definitely my favorite item on the menu right now. I did taste a bit of my partners meal, which was the branzino and it was good. I didn't care for the asparagus, because though it was perfectly cooked, it was not seasoned at all."
"Really like this place! Anytime I visit my mom for lunch we go here! ***LOCATION***Plenty of free parking since it is OTP. The inside is large with plenty of seating. ***STAFF***Always friendly!***FOOD***I really like their food. It's like Olive Garden, not necessarily home made authentic pasta but American Italian! It is still very good and especially for the price! Their bread is delicious!! I get the eggplant parm and it's always 10/10. The eggplant is cooked perfectly and just crunch with the parm and soft inside. ***PRICE***The prices are reasonable! I think we were 7-8 to eat lunch and the grand total was 109$ with tip. We each had salad and bread as well as our very plentiful entrees***CONCLUSION***Definitely a solid place to go for a good price, good food and portions that could be two meals!"
"Plentiful parking. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and was helped at the counter by a welcoming & nice woman who gave us ample of time to check out their extensive menu. I got the lasagna pizza and a slice of the Sicilian. Both were delicious. In fact, I've been thinking about this pizza since I left so I obviously can't wait to revisit! Went to the bathroom, it was clean. It looks like they also had an attached patio area that may serve cocktails. They have HUGE diner style slices of cake too, I'll be grabbing one next time I'm in."
"We hit Vinny's New York Pizza recently before a show at the Fox Theatre, with my son and his uncle. As a native New Yorker I'm always keen to try NY pizza in Atlanta... good news and not-so-good news on that front. Staff was SUPER friendly and kind, which is always appreciated and refreshing. The place looked like a hippster, NYC dive-joint, which was, to me, also on point. The pizza itself, although quite tasty and enjoyable, wasn't really evocative of New York--sauce was a bit too sweet and the dough wasn't thin enough. NYC 'za is foldable goodness with zingy tomato sauce, and Vinny's was thicker than average. on a brighter note, Uncle and I had a side salad, which was surprisingly good! we had the balsamic dressing and I would order that again in a heartbeat. thanks for a fun time and good food!"
"I love Emmy Squared and this location does a great job! I recently got a burrata and watermelon salad that had a fresh herb dressing that was absolutely delicious. I love their white pizza and add caramelized onions. It is always crispy, salty and gooey."
"Stop reading this review. Get thee to Shorty's. We've been here several times and they always get everything right. You might not know it from looking at the place, but someone in that kitchen is paying very close attention to what's on the menu and how it is cooked. For instance, they make their own bread. The pizzas are wood-fired. And nothing on the menu is an afterthought. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas. Just get what sounds good to you and hang out for a bit with the adult beverage of your choice. The pizza will take a bit of time, but you'll forget the time when it arrives at your table all hot, fresh, and tasty. One day we decided to try something other than pizza. I can't remember what my friends had because I was completely enamored of the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. That reminded me of an old favorite I'd had at another restaurant, and I'm happy to have found this deliciousness at Shorty's. I can't wait for my next visit here. Holler if you're coming with."
"Updating my review to four stars because we've since come back and tried other non pizza optjons which are great."
"3.5 Stars Placed our order online and received delivery within 30 minutes. Food was warm and needed to be reheated a little in the microwave before eating. We purchased a Caesar Salad ($6.50), a Chicken Pesto Linguine ($15), an Eggplant Parmigiana ($14), Fettuccine Alfredo with Mushrooms, and a side order of the Bread Basket ($5). The portion sizes were average (we shared amongst 5 adults) and there could have been a little more chicken. Everything was tasty. Would try them again, but would like to try dine-in."
"The search is over! I have found the best pizza in Marietta! My husband and I met for dinner at Camp'a Kitchen and Bar. I was undecided on what to order until I looked at the specials for July. The Roost pizza called out to me loud and clear! It has chicken, caramelized onion, spinach, pizza cheese, parmesan and olive oil. I ordered a small (8 inches) and side salad. I sent my compliments to the kitchen for such a delicious pizza. I was so thrilled there were pizza leftovers, which I enjoyed for lunch the next day. The Roost is being offered throughout July. If I have a chance, I'll be back for another round...the pizza was that good!"
"I ended up at Edgewood Pizza on Valentine's Day. Don't ask me how or why but I wanted some pizza and more importantly I wanted some GOOD Pizza!Upon walking in, I was excited to see that Edgewood Pizza wasn't crowded. Listen! If you know this place you know it is always rocking. In any case, we took a seat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender. She smiled and welcomed us in. She advised that she was the only one working and to please bear with her. Her delivery of the message was so genuine that we were willing to wait. I ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza and fries. Allow me to say this! I have no idea what kind of salt they put on these fries but OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! These fries were amazingggggggg. LoL!!The pizza was perfectly made. It had the crispy edges, fully melted cheese, well done but not overdone center, and perfectly seasoned. Oh my gosh. This pizza never disappoints. The pepperoni was meaty and had crunchy edges!! This was Love in Pie form. LoL!!Though the bartender was the only employee and had to maintain the tables and bar, her service was stellar. She didn't allow the frustration of being alone to reflect in her delivery of service. Thank you to her for being amazing and providing stellar customer service. Thank you to the cook as well for being able to maintain all the orders and still make an amazing pie. Overall, it goes without saying that I will be back."
"Came here for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised! One of the best happy hour menus I've seen in a minute and I'm not even vegan. They have drinks and food. The bartender was so sweet and gave us some suggestions. Artichoke dip and expresso martini's what more can you ask for!? I believe the happy hour is over at six and you must sit at the bar."
"The food was great and the service was amazing. I've been to the North Italia in Colorado and remember really liking it so when I saw there was a location in Buckhead I immediately knew where I was going for dinner. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was awesome. Such a great dish! It's somewhat simple but the taste really packs a punch. The server was amazing, very nice and attentive and was a great overall experience."
"Shout out to Brandon at the front. Even though I only interacted with him for the time it took for me to order, I can tell that he's witty and kind. He took mine and everyone else's order with a smile and a joke. I will also note that I walked in 5 mins til closing and the service was just as good if it was the start of the day"
"A little takeout window slightly removed from the large complex of businesses nearby, this place offered large New York-style slices. Besides cheese, I was happy to have the option for a "homegrown" slice with pimento cheese and mushrooms for a flavor that was indeed distinctively local. These slices weren't cheap, but they were large. Perhaps the best part was the delightful pickled peppers I got as a side, which brightened up the last bits of crust considerably. There were a few seats nearby, but they were in the sun so I found a picnic table elsewhere. Their non-pizza and special dietary needs options were limited, but the slices were worthy of a stop."
"Placed a call in for two slices. Service was great on the phone and when I arrived. The pizza slices and restaurant gave authentic NY pizza vibes. The pizza tastes great and the size of the slice reminded me of NY as well. I'd definitely recommend and visit again."
"Great pizza spot. You definitely get your moneys worth. The my definitely don't skimp on the toppings. 1 pizza is enough to be split amongst 2 people."
