"This venue has 30 ft ceilings so it is easy to spot from the street but the inside does not have multiple floors. They have a nice patio area as well. There are other restaurants connected to the building. The building is extremely clean and looks brand new. They share a parking lot with a strip mall. Parking looks cramped but you will easily find a spot. Service was not astounding. They have a robot that delivers food but my food was delivered by a person. I only saw my waitress a couple of times and could not get a refill on water.I love their menu. They have a very big menu that is made bigger because they use plenty of pictures so people can see what the items look like. I wish more restaurants would do this.I ordered the Ugami boa and the honey garlic shrimp noodles. The ugami is eel and boa is a slider sandwich. This was delicious. The honey garlic shrimp noodles are what this place is known for. The meal was decent but nothing special."
"I was so sad when their other location Takorea closed down a few years ago, so I was excited to finally make my way over to Hankook. It's a pretty small parking lot but I came for an early Friday dinner and was able to find parking! This place is pretty no frills, but the staff is super friendly and helped me with placing an order. I just got a taco combo with the beef bulgogi taco and a pork taco with sesame fries and a soda. The food came out super fast which I appreciated and I was able to snag a booth as well. I loved the sauce on each and the price to value here just can't be beat. The star of the meal though has to be their sesame fries. OMG. I literally finished them all!! Overall, great quick service meal with some interesting flavors. Definitely check them out."
A Malaysian favorite! The curry noodle base, infused with coconut milk, served in a bed of Food Terminals signature thin noodle, boneless chicken thigh, fish cake, bean sprouts, spring onions, fried shallot, mint leaf, lime and hard-boiled egg.

"It has been a minute since I've been to sweet auburn bbq, I don't know why since it's so good, but it is as good as ever. The jalapeno cornbread basket is still amazing, the fatty brisket is still divine, but I have some new favorites, too. -The smoked wings...these are JUICY, the perfect amount of smokiness, and they do not skimp. These are big healthy wings, about 50/50 flats/drums. My dinner buddy and I split a dozen wings, half wu-tang and half buffalo. The buffalo is awesome, as is the wu tang but I am a sucker for OG buffalo wing flavor. Wings from a bbq joint just are on another tier because of the smokiness. Get these!!!-Char siu ribs--a relatively new addition to the menu. Incredible flavor, so moist, can't sing their praises enough. You literally don't need to add sauce, it's so flavorful on its own.-The green bean side--I would have never thought to get green beans here, it seems really random, but these are some of the best green beans I have ever had in my entire life. I really don't know what they're doing to make them so flavorful. I am not going to let as much time pass next time before a return visit."

"A warm yet inviting & upscale Asian fusion restaurant, with a super friendly atmosphere & stylish Oriental decor. The seating options vary from the main dining area with booths & tables to the spacious bar & private dining upstairs. We didn't have reservations yet were able to sit at the bar. Kevin, our Bartender/Server extended us such amazing & engaging service during our first visit here. All the staff we encountered offered the same welcoming service. The food menu offers shareable selections providing a great way to try different dishes. The Vegan options are plenty (about 6-7 offerings) - I had an order of Spring Rolls to hold me over. My Brother had the Basil Chicken in a garlic & lightly sweet sauce & puff rice. The curated menu of libations includes unique cocktails & a few high-quality wines & beers. They offer Half-off Bottle of Wines on Mondays. Overall the menus had a flexible price point, especially for a small party of 2-3. Reservations are limited to 90 minutes & the patio tables are limited to 2-4 guests. Street parking or Valet for $5 which is located in the parking garage next door.*Service: 5/5*Menu: 4/5 *Taste: 4/5*Portion: 5/5*Price: 4/5*Atmosphere: 5/5*Overall Experience: 5/5"
"My friend and I split their Szechuan fish which came with complementary white rice, Egg Drop Soup and Hot and Sour Soup. Given how densely flavored the fish was, we needed a lot of white rice to balance it out, which luckily came with free refills. Not sure if it was because it was the end of the day but the egg drop and hot and sour soups were not good. They tasted almost soapy/fishy in very unpleasant ways. Overall, the portion and quality was well matched for the cost so I definitely want to come back and try something more items from their menu. Staff were kind even though they were busy. This is very much a low key and whole in the wall place. As long as you know that (and be cautious of the complementary soups), I am sure you will find something that you like!"
"I've been craving sushi and I'm so glad that I finally got some. I ordered via delivery and I won't lie, some of the older reviews almost scared me off but sometimes you just have to try a place for yourself, and I'm glad that I did!I'm usually an adventurous eater, especially when it comes to sushi because I love a great roll or some sashimi, but as I'm unable to eat raw fish currently, I kept it simple. After indecisively checking out multiple sushi restaurant options for almost an hour, I went with EAV based on the details listed on the menu that allowed me to clearly note if the roll was raw vs. cooked, the roll options (I don't love tempura-only options) and their prices. I decided to go with a basic California roll (which I haven't had since I was like, 5 lol) and their spider roll which includes crab and veggies. I called EAV prior to checking out to confirm that 3 of my initial choices were cooked, and the woman who answered the phone was so kind and patient. I'm so glad that I did call as one roll I was considering was raw. When my rolls made it to my door, they were still in perfect condition and beautifully prepped. In the 'special request' section of my delivery order, I asked for extra ginger and wasabi. I always swear that restaurants don't read those but they did! The rolls were portioned well and packed with crab and veggies. The rice was also perfectly cooked, moist and sticky. I don't think I've scarfed down sushi rolls so quickly in my life, they really didn't stand a chance! I'm so glad that I took the time out to try them for myself!"
"This place is great if you are looking for all you can eat for a reasonable price! They have a large sushi variety menu which is awesome for you sushi lovers. They also offer other items as well so if you don't like sushi you still have plenty to choose from. Good buffet spot for a good price! Come pig out"
"Overall this was a really underwhelming experience. I guess in my head I was thinking this was going to be like the other location. I was wrong. The service here was nonchalant. We were at the end of our meal when they asked if we wanted anything else or how everything was. There was only 4 other diners besides us so it wasn't as if they were slammed. My veggies were all fresh and well prepared so that was a big plus. It had a nice variety and I enjoyed the two types of mushrooms. My broth however was the worst I've ever had. It was just water. I was like surely this is a mistake. Then the other broth at the table, which was a different style had the same type of problem. Zero flavor. The sauce bar at this location has a lot less variety then their other spot. My favorites , leek sauce, spicy Thai, and peanut sauce were nowhere to be found. I would not be in a hurry to come back to this location due to so many other options in the area"
"Never let's me down. Bao's are so good here. The bread was super soft. They were perfect, flavorful, delicious and cooked wonderfully. The crab was cooked just right. The Baos were soft and tender."
"YOU ARE IM-PECKABLE! Ordered from Ponko Chicken on DoorDash tonight! Was pleasantly surprised by how awesome this spot was. We ordered a bunch of things to try. The hot dog, chicken plate, green beans and the cup cakes. All delicious! I was way too hungry so no pictures sorry. But trust me it was all very good and flavorful!"
"Decent ramen and boba tea spot. I wanted ramen and boba and found this place, the ramen is pretty good. The boba fruit tea was just okay to me, I've had better. The service was decent. The inside is cute, some of the furniture needs to be fixed in here the booth seating is torn up. The parking is free here it is a nice location."

Think of a fun fusion vibe spot with robot table side delivery. Ample inside seating. Service is warm and friendly. Order on paper menu. And it is an elaborate menu. I ordered a tofu bao and vegetable daal. Food was rather quick and tasty. I will definitely return.Part 2 I came back and May waited on us. She is phenomenal!!! This time we tried the new fried rice.

Finally made it out to Hankook Taqueria! It's definitely a bit off the beaten path and has free parking but not too many spots. Definitely a grungy looking place on the outside but stick with it!The menu here has a ton of protein options. The blackboard specials were recommended to me so I got the carne asada taco special and one beef bulgogi taco as a combo. The fries are chef's kiss and so good especially with the mildly spicy ketchup. Delish! Both tacos had so much protein and was nice - however, the carne asada taco left so much to be desired flavor and protein texture wise. It needed more oomph. I love blue cheese and all, but the fried tomato and dressing were a miss. The dressing was super thin and ran out the taco. However, the beef bulgogi was immaculate and couldn't be made better. Definitely redeeming. Coming back, I would try a different protein. My boyfriend got the beef bulgogi burrito and the rice here really hits. The rice to anything else ratio in the burrito is definitely off, but with the rice being as yummy as it is no complaints here! I most definitely will try the bowl here at some point. With the prices and flavor here, I was baffled paying for 2 people and having dinner be under $25 before tip? Definitely will be back and try other items on the menu!

Sweet auburn is a decent bbq spot near ponce! Parking is pretty rough and there is a parking deck somewhere that they validate, but I couldn't find it so I just street parked.Between the bartenders to waiters and waitresses, the staff there was awesome! Everything was quick and everyone was super nice! The table shared cornbread while I had the brisket platter as my entree with Mac n cheese and slaw. The brisket itself was just ok, but the Mac n cheese was the star of the show so I'd definitely come back just to get that!Overall, sweet auburn is fine if you're looking for a bbq spot in the city, but I do think fox bros down the road is a lot better!

This place is really nice. Great service. Makes sense, as it's the flagship location and corporate office in one place. The service is great, but I have been here twice now and I like the taste of the food it's different, but the food needs to be hot. The first time I went, I had to send the food back because the food was cold. 2nd time, same thing. I just ate it, couldn't be bothered. They tried to tell me the SAUCE made it cold. Really? The sauce that was put on 30secs ago then directly handed to me made hot chicken cold? No. I think they have the chicken sitting there, which the guy all but confirmed saying they have a policy on food coming out fast. Listen, I will wait for hot food. I hate cold food that is meant to be hot. This place is a prime example of that. It would taste way better. When I did have my food remade the first visit, fries and chicken tacos, you could taste the difference of a freshly fried tender to the initial tacos they gave that were cold with cold fries. Patrons are really in there eating cool food. They dress it up really nice and the flavor is different but they are serving cold food. I don't like that, and this place is not cheap. I averaged $25-$27 both visits for a meal, and drink. Nuts!

Came here for my birthday dinner in ATL. (I've been on tour) lolFood is AMAZING we ordered a bunch of small plates and ate family style. we had almost everything on the menu but the items that stood out to me was the bone marrow and the garlic noodle. I absolutely loved them. the signature cocktails are premade though so not really strong so I wouldn't recommend the signatures cocktails just go with your normal bar cocktail mine was an old fashion or whiskey and ginger. Service was top tier I wish I could remember her name but she was awesome. Ambiance was real cute inside. Dim lighting. Cute for date night not sure if I would have big group dinners there again only cause its small and cute. Food was - 5/5Service - 5/5I would highly recommend.

I grew up with Chong Qing Hot Pot, and I'm so glad the restaurant still runs to this day. I recently asked whatever happened to the younger man that used to work here, not realizing that he is now the older man that works there.Chong Qing Hot Pot has kept its incredible quality over the years. The portions continue to be incredibly fair, the prices competitive, and the flavors truly incredible. I don't think any place does a 辣子鸡 like this restaurant. Order any of your Sichuan favorites from here, and they're sure to please.I think the biggest highlight, outside of the incredible food, is the fact that they're not stingy with rice. Too many places do a strict 1 portion of rice per entree. That hasn't yet happened to Chong Qing Hot Pot, and hopefully, they'll never feel like they need to change that.I'll always love Chong Qing Hot Pot. It's one of Metro Atlantas many wonderful Sichuan places.

10/10 experience!!I came into EAV specifically for a few Lychee Martinis. In order to ensure the drinks didn't go straight to my head, I also ordered the Spring Rolls and Super Crunch Sushi Roll. The Spring Rolls were hot and delicious and came with the more yummy sauce. And the Super Crunch Roll was fantastic!! The texture was pleasing to my palette and I enjoyed every bite.Hector was such a fun server! I'll definitely be back for more low-key vibes and drinks.

really should be 3.5 star because our server was so sweet.this is where to go if you want to eat mediocre sushi, but a lot of it.the only complaint i have is the rice was a tad dry, otherwise it would've been fantastic. the value is definitely good and they also have a ton of selection of hot foods from the kitchen which i did not have room for unfortunately.inside is not fancy but clean.

"Second tiki bar in two months and I am proclaiming myself a "tiki snob". I've been wanting to come here for a long time. But it takes some WORK to get over here.....it is a confusing walk from the Marriott. You have to go DOWN at the Marriott to take a SKY bridge to the Hilton and then go down again to get on a very specific elevator bank (not all elevators lead to Vic's) and then even if you press DOWN to get to the restaurant, the elevator takes you UP UP UP to the top floor where there is a completely OTHER restaurant and then you stop at a few floors, but you are too full to fit any one else, so then down you go to Trader Vics. Phew.....I'm exhausted thinking about this trek. The drinks are OKAY. They are not fabulous. I actually went here twice with two different parties. The first time around we said "let's try something that's not on the super sweet side". All drinks were super sweet. I would have hated to have tried the ones they DID consider sweet. Not bad at all really though.....just not usually my taste. One was some sort of Banana drink and the other was a Painkiller I think. The food was.....ehh.....forgettable? Just okay? Mediocre. We had the lamb which was pretty dry; the Trader Vic salad with shrimp, which I did really enjoy; and the crab Rangoon, which was great. One other thing, but I can't really remember. We wanted bananas foster, but they were out of bananas. So we tried a different one. The dessert was the rum cake and it was way too sweet for my taste. Sickeningly sweet. For the second go-round, Mai Tais were on special for $7 each, so I had that. They were actually pretty good. I tried the all-in-one fried rice which had chicken, shrimp, pork, and all the other normal things one might find in fried rice. It was good. Not great. But good. Service is super duper slow. You'll be here for awhile. The server was sweet though, both nights. Felt bad for the one the second night. I think she had like every single table and it was impossible to keep up. Ambiance is nice. Not as cool as the Golden Tiki, but I'm not sure if that's a coconut to coconut comparison. Two different vibes. Golden Tiki is more sexy. Trader Vics is more hotely. Would I go back? Probably not. It wasn't the best. Wasn't the worst. I feel very average about this whole experience."
"Noodle has been in College Park forever. I have lived in the area for 18 years and never had their food until the other day. My review is based on a delivery order. I ordered : Yum Yum ShrimpKorean Bulgogi BBQ with ChickenWonton SkinSmall House SaladWhat I received: Yum Yum ShrimpKorean Bulgogi BBQ with ChickenWonton SkinFried Calamari Although I wanted the salad, I was not mad that I received the Fried Calamari, so I didn't ask for a refund. Their mix-up. Yun Yum Shrimp was so good. It was hard not to eat it in entirety from the start. The sauce was perfect. Korean Bulgogi I requested chicken for my protein and added broccoli and onions. It already came with carrots and onions. The portion size is 12-14 ounces. Very large. So large I ate it at two different settings. It also comes with some fresh jasmine rice. The dish was very tasty. I like how they cut the chicken breast. On a bias and not chunks. Very nice. Fried Calamari. An ample portion to share. I shared it with my daughter. The plum sauce was very nice, and it tasted seasoned. Not bland. Wontons are just simply noodles. I should have ordered soup with that. I have to say they were fresh and not stale.Noodle, I will be back for more next time as a sit down in restaurant experience. Loved it."
"I'd honestly give them a 2.5 out of 3. We came here after a last minute change of venue for a birthday dinner. I've been to the restaurant years ago when I worked in the area and wasn't impressed then. Sadly, not much has changed. The coconut soup was ok. I added shrimp which was an additional fee and literally received only 2 shrimp. The crab Rangoon was way too sweet and almost inedible. The ocean roll was fine, but nothing special. I tasted some chicken from my husband's teriyaki chicken and steak dish. It was rubbery and gross. On the bright side, they do serve really strong drinks. Everyone in our party enjoyed the drinks. Although I probably wouldn't return, I will say that they accommodated our large party at the last minute. Emily was our server and she really tried her best, but another server should've been assigned to assist her."
"Yuki boasts a spacious and stylish modern design, offering one of the best dining atmospheres in Korea Town, Duluth. The transition from Japanese to Korean and Chinese cuisine seems well-received. It served as a great setting for an important meeting. We enjoyed the Fried Chicken in Hot and Sour Sauce (유린기) and Seafood Nurungjitang (해물 누룽지탕) - both were excellent, though portion consistency can vary. Despite considering rice or noodles, we left satisfied. 유린기 is becoming a personal favorite, and the quality of ingredients shines through. Hoping for consistent excellence in their food and service.Edit based on 10/13/2023 negative experienceBased on my previous excellent dining experiences, I recommended Yuki for my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner. The seats for 14 people reserved for the biggest dining table in the restaurant. The overall dining experience was enjoyable, but it was marred when I discovered a piece of plastic in my food, and worse, found another piece in my mouth, which could have been ingested and potentially caused serious harm to my internal organs. I promptly informed a waitress to ensure that the owner was made aware of the issue. On my way out, I happened to encounter the owner, and I inquired if he had been informed. He appeared puzzled, and it seemed that he had not been informed. The same waitress confirmed that she had indeed informed him. Unfortunately, the owner's reaction was disappointing. He offered neither an apology nor a comment, leaving the situation unaddressed. This lack of response is inappropriate, as it could signify either denial or a lack of commitment to improving the cooking process. It suggests that customers need to be extra cautious."
"I swung in here for a super-early dinner on my way out of Duluth toward home...The place was as stunning as I remembered it...especially with its spectacular cubicle seatings! Again, I ended up in one of the cubicle slots lol...this time, upstairs. I wasn't hungry, but wanted to try so many items on their menu...so I ordered the following: Lobster & Chasu Salad Balls, Negima Skewer, Baby Octopus Skewer, Chili Garlic Edamame, and Matcha Pudding with Red Bean! Also, tried their Lemonade drink.Well, basically, I loved them all...but for me, the winner was the dessert, Matcha Pudding with Red Bean! HOW did I not get this the first time?? This pudding was more like Matcha flavored Panna Cotta with Red Bean, AND Milk topping! SO delish!!I remember being impressed with the ambiance, but only halfway with the foods I ordered last time...but this time, I was just as impressed with the foods. Guess it all depends on what you order. Still, thing about this place is that it offers a huge variety of appetizers...and some of them are truly unique! Then that dessert...WOW.I'm basically addicted now. I'll definitely be back for more on my future trips to Duluth and the surrounding areas!"
"The food was really good and plentiful! Enough to share for 2 people for around $23.00! I had the grilled shrimp and scallops and grilled veggies with cucumbers and other veggies. It also came with white rice and soup. Service was fast and friendly and a nice ambiance for a moderate date or family friendly. Located on a 2nd floor where you have to take stairs so wear comfortable shoes."
"Slow service and mediocre food. Not bad for the area but, for the price, I was hoping for more. Comfy patio and not too crowded during a convention in town."
""A pleasant and delicious Thai Food expérience"We walked into Rain for dinner on a busy shopping evening. The restaurant is nestled in the Publix grocery plaza on Cheshire Bridge Road; with plenty of parking stalls around it. We were greeted by what appeared to be the owner/manager upon entry and were sat by the gazebo at the left end of the dining room whereby large padded leather booths overlook the plaza through its floor to ceiling glass windows and wooden shutters. The decor is modern browns and woods with Asian undertones in the form of drill bits on the leather chairs or the rust metal barrels amongst other Knick knacks around the dining room. The ambiance is very cozy casual and we dined on a soundtrack of Diana Krall and Sade style playlist on the speakers. Our meal started with a super light and refreshing. bowl of the lemongrass soup that consisted of Shrimp, kaffir leaves, lime, tomatoes, mushrooms, scallions, cilantro and chili paste ($7.95); wow!Next came the appetizer-sized Rain Salad, that was served in a lovely square ceramic bowl; and was filled with Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and drizzled with homemade ginger dressing ($4.95); what a nice follow up! Another appetizer; the Panong Gyoza platter ($7.95) came with 5 nicely steamed dumplings that were filled with chicken and vegetables with a side of panang curry sauce - it is definitely a must add to your dining experience if you like gyoza or dumplings in general! Delicious! For the main course, the mildly spicy Basil Seafood bowl strutted down our table immediately after the gyoza. It consisted of Scallops, calamari. shrimps with a nice basil sauce ($24.95). The seafood was lightly pan fried then steamed and came out fork tender while the basil soy sauce base that added the right amount of tanginess to the mix. We chose a plain fried rice side ($4.95) which turned out to be a generous portion of rice with green peas, carrots and eggs; yum! Yum! Yum!We finished our dinner with a mango sticky rice dessert ($7.95) - the sticky rice was nice and warm while the cold, freshly sliced ripened mango slices were a perfect accompaniment to the condensed milk base sauce. Altogether; Rain is a pleasant and delicious Thai food experience on Cheshire Bridge Road; the all-Thai staff was extremely attentive and service was prompt and unhurried. We will definitely return!"
"First off, the Thai Coconut Soup Cup. Imagine a cozy hug... in a cup. It's like your chicken got a PhD in deliciousness, teamed up with mushrooms and chili oil, and decided to go for a swim in a coconut chicken broth pool. It's a spoonful of heaven with a spicy kick that says, "Surprise!"Then, there's the Garlic Eggplant. This isn't your grandma's eggplant. This is wok-seared Japanese eggplant that went to culinary school. It's hanging out with red peppers, bok choy, and onions, all drenched in a sweet garlic sauce that'll make you forget your name. It's like a veggie party on a plate, and guess what? You're invited! Now, let's talk about the customer service. If there were a Customer Service Olympics, these folks would bring home the gold. They treated me so well, I almost asked if I could move in.In conclusion, if you haven't been to Doc Chey's, are you even living? It's a yes from me, and I'll be back faster than you can say "More Garlic Eggplant, please!"See you at the noodle house!"
"Good and ambiance was great. Had an array of appetizers, had crispy garlic chicken and espresso martini. Phenom!!!! The chicken w s meaty."
"For Brothers Day Out I let my little brother pick the restaurant. As his palate is diverse and he enjoys a variety of food I wasn't shocked when we ended up at Krave. Driving up to Krave, it is right off the Main Street so you can't miss it. Parking is limited as the lot itself is smaller so I would suggest carpooling if you're in a group. Upon walking in the ambiance is chill yet vibrant. There was an R&B Playlist playing which instantly caught my ear. The style of the decor is simple yet bold. LoL! Let me explain, simple in design, yet bold with the dominance of black as the color stands out with the all glass front and few pops of color. The menu hangs on the wall, I would have loved to have been able to review a paper menu opposed to keeping my neck at an angle while I reviewed the menu, however, there weren't any. As this was my first time at Krave it took me a few moments to fully capture the menu selections. I think my neck was mad at me. I decided on the Chicken Bulgogi Bowl - 12 oz chicken in fruit based soy sauce over rice... The dish is simple by design but elaborate in flavor. The profile fusion of the spice accompanying the fruit based soy sauce is absolutely mouth pleasing. The chicken was moist and flavorful and seasoned with a spice blend that fit the fusion theme of the bowl. The portion was perfect for the price and had enough for me to take some to go. If you're not into spice you can get the bowl regular. My little brother had it that way and enjoyed it as much as I did the spicy. The service is quick and efficient. The young lady at the register was nice and was able to answer the few questions we had. The restaurant was super clean. The tables weren't sticky and the floors were clean as well. Good Food. Clean Environment. Great Playlist. I will definitely be back to Krave for another Chicken Bulgogi Bowl."
"One of the top dim sum joints in ATL.Today was our second time back and unlike the first time, we paced ourselves and didn't gorge. However, we did learn which dishes we liked from our first visit. Here are my current favorites:- There's this plain fried donut like pastries (comes in three) that has the texture of mochi and has a small amount of pork (I believe?). This is my all time favorite and better eaten hot.- Chicken congee soothes your soul. - Anything shrimp is good like the har gow, shrimp flat noodle rolls, and my favorite is the shrimp and chives dumplings. Also, they just added a fried shrimp rolls and it was so good and had so much shrimp filling. The fried part just became a tad overwhelming though.- Taro dumpling is a piece of art. It looks unique and has layers of texture. It has chicken filling I believe and the middle is soft and dense from the taro, with flaky outer cover. Yum!- For dessert, egg tarts of the sesame balls are a must!We still haven't tried everything but will continue to visit to do so~One thing we really like about this place is the friendly staff, which I think is hard to find for dim sum joints since they're usually chaotic. Also, if you come at the right time, it's not too overly crowded!Aside from dim sum, I also came here for one of those AAPI banquets long time ago through AT&T function and I recall all the main dishes being amazing as well!"
"I don't know why this place isn't famous! I loved it! My friend and I were craving Thai for lunch - and this place was the closest for both of us. Upon entering, I was kindly greeted by a gentleman. He was the sweetest and brought my water instantly. After my friend arrived, he told us about the entree orders - how we can choose a soup or salad with any of the curry/rice/noodle options - which is amazing. I ordered the green Thai curry with Tom Yum soup. My friend got the Pad Thai with coconut soup. Our soups arrived in some time and they were both warm and comforting. It tasted delicious. Our entrees came later and they looked and tasted fantastic. 10/10. Totally recommend. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We finished our bowls clean. The prices are reasonable and there's plenty parking out front."
"MAKE your own call about Makimono... located inside Krog Street Market, I believe they used to be Craft Izakaya, which I did enjoy a lot when it was a full dine in restaurant, but they shut down and reopened as a smaller scale sushi bar counter. After making a circle around the food hall, we were most curious about Makimono. They were close to closing time but luckily not super busy so we took a seat and chatted with some of the guys behind the bar. We asked for suggestions on the best two rolls so they recommended the Ellie and the Lambada, which also happened to be the two sushi rolls on the menu we were eyeing. I'm pretty particular about my sushi and I wasn't expecting much from the rolls. However, they were pretty large and tasty. The Ellie came out nice in photos - the Lambada was probably my favorite of the two, but not as photogenic. Rolls here were a-ok. Nothing special, maybe a step up from grocery store sushi? There are tons of restaurants in Atlanta to grab a mediocre sushi roll from so go ahead and add Makimono to the list if you're craving it while at Krog."
"I asked the front desk receptionist at my hotel for recommendations on places to eat in the area. First thing he mentioned was "the sushi restaurant down the block." He talked about their great lunch special and good, affordable sushi. I decided to give this place a try after I settled into my room. I strolled into the restaurant around 3pm, but I saw that they were going to close in 30 minutes. I asked one of the staff members if the kitchen was still open and if I'd be able to order anything. She said I had until 3:30pm to order whatever I wanted. I found out later that there was a bit of confusion on her end, because my real server told me the kitchen closed at 3:15pm. My server was really nice about it though and didn't want me to feel rushed. I thought that the menu was interesting. I felt that the items were primarily of Japanese food, but there was Southeast Asian food like Thai. I thought that was so random, but then I realized that the place was a sushi bar AND Asian bistro. This totally made sense, especially when I tried their salt and pepper soft shell crab. The flavors and way it was prepared with the grilled onions and peppers reminded me of Chinese style salt and pepper fish or calamari. Loved it, by the way. I was expecting to have 1 piece of soft shell crab deep fried in tempura like from any other Japanese restaurant. I also appreciated how much crab was in the appetizer. I think i had 3 or 4 whole pieces of chopped soft shell crab for the same price of 1 at my own local Japanese restaurants. I got the Naruto roll, which was all fresh fish with a cucumber wrap in ponzu sauce. This was nicely refreshing. The Surf and Turf (shrimp tempura & steak) roll was fairly average. I've had better wagyu rolls. The meat was dry.The Royal king (tempura lobster & spicy kani) was pretty good. I honestly couldn't taste the lobster, but I got an overall prominent crustacean fishiness."
"I was heading towards the house from the airport after being on the road for most of the week and stopping here for dinner popped into my head. There was plenty of parking and no wait as I stepped inside to the hostess stand. It is an old school Chinese restaurant and I love that! The staff were pleasant, very available and eager to answer questions. I sat near the bar and there was a fair amount of pickups for takeout.I highly recommend giving it a try- the menu is huge and while I tried two relatively mundane dishes, I am willing to, next time, lean in and try some new dishes."
"Ordered take out this past weekend while in town visiting my sister and brother in law. We ordered a variety of rolls and sushi appetizers. The sushi pizza is one of my go to's. My sister loves their tuna tartare, it is served with a raw egg yolk. Our pick up order was ready promptly and everything tasted fresh."
"Great poke!!! I love that you fill out a paper form to order. They must get lots of online orders because I had to wait a bit for mine, even when I was the only person in the store.Spicy tuna is very finely minced, with good flavor. Other fish were fresh. Avocado not worth the additional price."
"I work in Tucker, and randomly decided to go to Bath and Body Works on lunch. Closest was Toco Hills. I love Toco Hills but always forget about it. I get to the BBW, it's this beautiful stunning complex with all this stuff in it! I do not remember this being here must be new. They had the BBW of course, an ULTA next to it, they had a Kroger, and several restaurants. It was great. After leaving BBW, I noticed Yumbii next door. I was intrigued it looked like it would be good. I had no expectations. Tried it. The food was delicious. I cannot remember what sauce I ordered but I will be back this week to eat here again. They also have fresh house made drinks, super sweet I added half cup of water to it and it was fine, could use some lemons as well, but the red one cranberry maybe, the best! Service was good and it was pretty clean in there and the bathroom. Must try, this place is a quiet low key banger. The Toco Hills folks are lucky to have this, never seen this chain before. really enjoyed my lunch and the leftovers, just as good! 10 stars!"
"Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Its well run, fantastic service, and the menu is quite innovative.Sure its got the regular offering, but , each dish comes with a twist. Kudos to the kitchen to keep it fresh, keep it modern. The portions are large, so order appropriately."
