Area 4 Restaurant

I went to Area 4 Restaurant on a Saturday night around 7:45 PM. I was there to celebrate a birthday. It is located in a parking lot with a Shell gas station. There is free parking and valet. I self parked for free. Upon entry, I was impressed by the interior decor. The place is mostly white with hints of royal blue. There are several white couches and velvet blue seating in sections around the perimeter of the place. I waited in the front area with another friend by the hostess stand until the full party arrived, but noticed that there was not a lot of staff walking around to engage with guests as they walked in during that time. We were not greeted at all, even after sitting around for 20 minutes. When everyone arrived, the birthday girl found a bartender and let them know we were all here and ready to be seated. The place was nearly empty around 8:30, with two other birthday parties present. The age range of the crowd seemed to be from 30s to 50's. We were seated in a velvet blue section and it comfortably fit 7 people. It was not many people there, so we were able to pull up extra chairs as other people arrived late. Our server was good at making recommendations from the drink and food menu. I ordered the Casa Area 4 Blue and the catfish plate with fries.The catfish and fries were delicious. Neither lacked flavor. I did not love my drink and did not really taste much tequila. Other people at the table ordered wings with fries and lamb chops. They said the wings were okay. Everyone loved their fries & the lamb chops were a hit! They smelled amazing. The djay was playing a lot of 90s r&b when we arrived, but ended up switching the playlist to some Atlanta hits and current rap songs (Sexxy Red, Latto, Meg the Stallion, Cardi B, Bossman D Low, Lil Baby etc), upon request as it got later, while also sliding in some throw back songs (ex. Shawty Swing my Way, ). There were also tvs and projectors playing sports (GA vs Alabama football game, UFC fight), so that helped to entertain us as we waited for drinks and food orders. It took a while to get everything we ordered and the checks when we were ready to leave. At the end of the night, two bartenders brought out champagne and a happy birthday sign to celebrate our birthday girl. Overall, the experience was okay. I liked the food. I would consider returning after 9 PM because the crowd did not pick up until at least 10 PM.

Don't go!!! I made a reservation for 2pm and arrived at 1:45pm on Friday 12/23/2022. I sat and waited until 2:05pm when a woman arrived. She got out of her car with an attitude asking me why I'm here. I stated I have a reservation for 2pm. She said no way you can have a reservation because they don't open until 4pm today. I said I have a confirmation that my reservation is valid for 2pm today. Then she said the app doesn't work and it doesn't matter what time you pick on the app. Because the app will allow you to pick whatever time you want and confirm it. I said okay and left it at that. This situation should have went completely different. She didn't have any empathy, concern or care about the fact she knows the app doesn't work and allowed me to book.My family and I traveled from Miami, Charleston and DC Area to enjoy this establishment. We haven't even ate yet today. Due to holding out to enjoy the delicacies of this establishment. Unfortunately all 6 of us won't be returning.

This place has a lot of potential but refit could use some work. I came here on a Friday night around 7. It was pretty empty. Our server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about what they offer for food and drinks. My first drink seemed pretty small in a plastic cup but the second drink was in a tall glass. I order friend shrimp, fries and yellow rice. Everything was good except the rice. It tasted old and hard. The vibe was nice though. Pretty decor and furniture. The DJ was . They also offered hookah.

This wasn't really my vibe! So my answer would be NO!It was just so much going on I really couldnt keep up. Musical chairs, yes I said it. Freestyle contest. Lap dances. And lots of children. The DJ, if that's what you will call him was trash! The service well... The entire thing was unorganized. Seemed like something else usually go on there and they're attempting to make it brunch. And they were not successful.The food was decent! Slightly overpriced. Well not so much slightly. The grits were scary. The fish was bland! TikTok has lead us astray once again.The layout make ZERO sense.0/10 recommend!

Love the atmosphere and DJ. The food was just ok. My yellow rice was crunchy, not fresh. Appeared to be old rice that was reheated. The salmon was good. Drinks were ok, too much juice in the drinks. The hookah was strong.

I absolutely love area 4 but I have yet to eat there. I go on Wednesday for karaoke and it's just a good vibe. I'm still trying to get the music and the DJ style but luckily everyone is there just to have a good time!Oh and the drinks are strong.

The food and service was very professional. I had an awesome time. I definitely would recommended anyone to go by there for brunch. Scrambled eggs. Chicken and Waffles. A 10

Hookah was too high and the music they was playing like somebody playlist. This place can be better but I didn't have a good time. If the music better I would give it a 5 start. I was out with my girls I wanna get lit too .

I really like this place and it was such a vibe. The waiters are really nice but weren't really attentive for those who were in line to be seated until they noticed how long we were standing there. I bought the catfish plate and my food was great & I think another side should be fries. The only concern is parking. It's very limited parking and trying to park across from the place across the street seems like a risk cause no cars in the lot and just a set up to be towed LOL. But other than that, I think the experience was nice overall.
