Apricot Stone

My friends and I came here for a little girls night. (We love a good BYOB). It's also always fun to get a few things to share as apps which is exactly what we did. My favorite was the spanikopita. But the trio of dips was a close second! I am not in philly often, but would love to come back.

First visit to Apricot Stone. Always on the lookout for a good BYOB. I love the food, the ambience and the service.I definitely will return

For some great middle eastern North African Mediterranean food- not AS price hiked inflation as everywhere else and for a really great meal. Cute lil date place if you want to sit on the patio. They have it heated and enclosed in winter or just stay inside the restaurant walls itself too. I remember people used to say that the owners grandma or mom cooked or created the menu and oversaw everything. That was a long time ago. But the food since I remember going is still good quality bi enjoyed it very much. My Moroccan man was very content with the whole meal. Although some prices were pricier than it could have been but eh I wanted to explore the menu and we were hungry. I loved the desserts. Tried em all and took some home

Pretty decent restaurant in the north of Philly with a BYOB option. The dips were very fresh and the lentil burger side is a must to try at Apricot stone. The salad was pretty meh but the falafel is a must try. The service was very prompt and the waiter's suggestions were pretty good.PS: Parking at this place is very difficult so please ensure that you have a booked spot before you drive here!

I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting Northern Libs. The ambience was warm and welcoming we sat in the patio area which was small but very cozy. The staff was very friendly and the service was good too. Food was brought out very quickly. We got a round of appetizers Hummus and Muhammarah - I highly recommend getting the Muhammarah. The lamb dish was very yummy, flavorful and the meat was very tender. The manti was a little dry but the yogurt broth was very delicious. Prices were very reasonable I definitely felt so full afterwards so the portions are pretty good. Overall I'd say the experience was great. It's a nice cozy spot to hang out with friends and have delicious food.

A great way to celebrate Friendsgiving with delicious food. The place is small and quaint, it has an indoor and heated outdoor seatings. This place is BYOB so that's definitely a plus.Their plates are small and shareable. Love the prices since all of them are reasonable. My friends and i truly loved all of the food we ordered! Except, the chips. We preferred eating the side dishes with a warm naan bread. Our server was kind and the food came on the slower end imo, but we don't mind waiting for great food!Will def be back.

My friends were visiting out of town and wanted to take them to try Mediterranean food. We ended up picking this place so we can try all the different mezzes. We got:2 x Trio Dips (Hummus, babaganoush, jajukh, imam bayaldi, Israeli salad, and beet salad)Manti Lamb kebab Luleh kebab BaklavaKhataifGatnabur Everything was delicious!! I loved all the mezze we got. The one thing I didn't like was the texture of their complimentary pita. It felt a bit dry and stale. Out of all the mezzes the baked eggplant (imam bayaldi) and beet salad were my favorite. The kebabs were good but nothing spectacular. I have yet to find a place in Philly that cooks very juicy and tender kebabs. We got all 3 desserts and they were all good. The one that stood out the most was the Gatnabur - Armenian rice pudding with blossom water. It was very freshening and cleanses your palate. The texture is very unique from all the rice pudding I've had in the past. I would love to come back again once they switch up their menu! I did see they change their menu based on the old yelp reviews and photos I've seen. Also another pro - this place is BYOB!! Definitely try to make a reservation if you're coming for dinner since they do have limited seating.

As other reviewers mentioned, the takeout is very different from the in-person experience. Definitely go in-person unless you want to drop around $35+ per entrée with super small portions. The rice also tasted like boxed instant rice.

Finally went to try this place after several friends recommended it. Reservations were easy to get, we were outdoors in a well heated patio setting. Service was super friendly. Parking situation was very hard. Mostly street parking that we saw and not much available. Uber/Lyft or carpool if you can. Now on to the food! I love Mediterranean food and was excited to try this place. My favorite entree was the manti. The skewers were ok, lamb was gamey and beef was dry. The sides we got were good. Falafel was also ok. The desserts I really liked though. The Khaitaif was sweeter than the baklava and I would have probably really enjoyed it with a strong coffee. Some fellow yelpers recommended going with a larger group so that more dishes could be shared. With just 2 of us for dinner, it was hard so would try with a larger group next time.

I dine at Apricot Stone often and the food is always exceptionally fresh and consistent. Tastes just like home! I have tried nearly every dish, with each tasting better than the next. In addition, the staff here is so caring and wonderful. Highly recommended. Enjoy !
