Antone's Famous Po'Boys

honestly, I personally did not enjoy my Poboy sandwich as much as I hoped. Now, don't get me wrong. The aesthetic of this place is amazing. The employees are all very nice and even the customers have this vibe to them that brings good time energy. I really liked my Arnold Palmer. I made with the iced tea they had and lemonade out. I thought my fries were decent. I really liked my chowder lol I sound like an old man as I write this, but the sandwich was not the best. It was just decent.

I'm 62 years old, been going here since high school!Now my adult daughter goes here! Awesome food and awesome service every time!

What I liked:- Very nice location within walking distance from the hotel. A good selection of pre-made sandwiches if you are in a rush. Otherwise you can place a custom order. - Yelp coupon provided a free drink when I ordered a sandwich

Every time I go to Houston, I go to Antoine's and have them make me a fresh poboy. They are always very good. I have been going for years.

Antone's is a Houston staple. It's not your traditional po boy spot. It's po-boys with a bit of Mediterranean and American fused in. My family has enjoyed this establishment for years. The to go service is amazing. You can call in or order online and they bring it out with a smile. I particularly love the olive salad and hummus as a little side or snack. Their tuna salad sub is also a staple. Their pickles and chow chow are the best! I enjoy the Greek salad on days I need something lighter.

My Absolute FAVORITE submarine sandwich EVER!!! I've tried every sub and they're all great!!! My favorite part is the chow chow!!! SO southern. I usually buy six subs to take back to Dallas with me!!!

The food at Antone's is really good but don't go there 20 minutes before closing. Most all of the chairs were stacked upside down on the tables. And then a staff member started sweeping the whole restaurant floor and moving furniture that was making loud noises. When I kindly asked the staff member if they could stop sweeping so we could finished our food she said no! She made the comment that we are fixing to close. Then I ask for a manager she said he went home. The staff member continued to finish sweeping after our conversation. The good food they serve doesn't really go well with floor dust or loud screeching noises. Disappointed with there rude service.

It's been sometimes since I've eaten at Antone's because I rarely get on that side of town. But I can tell you when I was on that side of town. I would stop there. The food was phenomenal. I love that place. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is great. It's a nice restaurant to go into relax get a good meal. Good prices I highly recommend going in there And getting a good meal to eat I miss going there. I was just listening to the radio talk show host was talking about this place so I had to check it out on yelp because that that place is great.

Service is good sandwiches are OK. Wish they were closer. Fresh bread, and a lot more to choose from.

this place just went from affordable to straight up expensive just like any other place. I loved this spot because it was affordable and amazing food. but they ruined it with the price jumps. ain't even worth it
