This is a new spot downtown. It seems like there are two restaurant establishments in this one space (so convenient imo), Thai Downtown and another Vietnamese restaurant. Just outside along the street you can find parking. Across the street is the Municipal Market. The inside of the restaurant has a bunch of tables that are very well decorated. I ordered their Drunken Noodle with shrimp, extra spicy. It took a minute to get the food but it was good. The noodles were wide and soft, not over cooked. They gave me about 7 pieces of shrimp, standard size. However, the dish lacked basil and veggies - they were there (just green and red peppers) but microscopic except for the onions. There were a TON of onions. I usually like a lot of flavor from the vegetables and herbs and I can't imagine what it would have been like if I didn't add the shrimp and extra spicy flavor. Would I go back? Yeah, but I would avoid the people at the counter since they weren't so friendly and order at the computer instead.

I loved the food, I love Anhs in general so I was glad to try the new location. The only thing is though I dined in and there was a lot of gnats everywhere. Like I was trying to enjoy my food but I felt like they were swarming me & the food literally. So yeah. Maybe since its new I'll give it a try another time and hopefully then the gnats wont be there

I love Vietnamese food and have been searching for a go-to place in midtown Atlanta. I've had some reasonably good experiences at Anhs Kitchen, but it has a changing complexion that has caused me to strike it off my list of candidates.I and my companion ordered pad thai beef and broccoli beef. My pad thai noodles were gummy and the sauce unremarkable. The beef in both of our dishes seemed to be recooked. Kitchen service was poor with my companion's meal coming a good 10 minutes after mine. The dining room is getting a dingy look, due in part to the heavy carry-out traffic and the peeling painted concrete floor which is in clear need of refurbishing. Windows on the front badly need cleaning. The kitchen service was slow, due no doubt to heavy carryout that is accompanied by a continual stream of delivery guys wearing motorcycle helmets coming in and out. The carryout competes with dine in.Might be a good business plan, but if you're looking for a pleasant dine in experience with good food, forget it. Definitely not date-worthy. Anhs Kitchen needs to decide what kind of business it's going to cater to. Hard to do both.(While we didn't order any, the shrimp spring rolls looked great!)

We visited over the weekend and the food was delicious!!! The best Pho I have ever had and the egg rolls were great too. Everything was so fresh. The ambiance is nice and love the self-service kiosks to place your order. We will definitely go back!
