I have heard so many many good things about Angie's and was so excited to try it. I was so disappointed! My waffle was so thick and really had no taste. Looked and tasted like a waffle from free continental breakfast. My father went with me and loved his food. I am willing to try again but not the waffle!! Every single person who ever suggested Angie's swears by this place. I just need to find my meal. The place is kinda small with every table filled. Parking not a problem and bathroom was really clean.

What a gem this place is with friendly staff and delicious food. Knowing that they close for the day at 2pm, I was expecting to be turned away when I arrived a little before 2pm. I had planned to be there much earlier in the day but my day didn't go as planned. I was warmly welcomed when I arrived and seated as were many others who arrived after me. I was hoping just to get something to go but I was glad I could dine there and take in the cozy decor. My drink order was taken immediately and I went with the Tuesday special of beef tips over rice. It came with two sides so that was the hard part deciding. I went with baked apples and fries. I've been craving fries lately. They added some hush puppies too. The whole meal was delicious and I even had to take some of it home as the portion was so generous.I will be back the next time I find myself near Garner.

This is my third visit to Angie's. I cannot say good enough things about the. Great service, friendly staff, amazing food!!!Chicken liver was really well made. Chicken fried steak was fantastic. Place is always packed, but they definitely know how to manage the crown and not make you wait. I will keep coming.

We came down from New York to go see a hurricane's game and we were in the mood for some local fare. It's amazing that there are so many trendy places is Raleigh but coming from NY I've had my fill of "trendy". We found Angie's and a quick look at the pics in the yelp page and I knew this is where I had to be! Lots of regulars all the basic staples. All food ordered was delicious. We very much enjoyed what Raleigh had to offer. Now if I can only find grits in NY....

Angie's Restaurant is the BEST restaurant in town. The food is absolutely delicious and is made with love. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Our waitress, Michelle, went above and beyond to accommodate us. It is a great downhome restaurant where people are happy to be there.Also, Angie's does catering!!! We had a Family Reunion last month with over 40 people. Everyone LOVED the food!!! There was more than enough food to feed our company after the reunion was over. What a great variety of food choices! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Need to keep filters in wall ac units and checked monthly. We had the same wall units in Iraq and every week we had to clean the filter because of the sandstorms etc.
