Wednesday was my first time trying this place. Since my son was raving about them, I decided to try it. I got plain chicken wings. They were tasty and had a good crispy crunch. Even when warmed them up the next day, they were good. I'll come back with some more review when I try something else. P.S. the fries were ok. By the time they got to me, they were cold, but that's because my son had to drive for 30+ minutes to get to me.

This was my first visit to this highly recommended places by a close friend whom is local and swears by it. American deli sound bland but baby it's far from it. I was recommended to get their combo Philly and wings combo but I decided to go with just wings. Now this place gave me the bland vibes when I was told of it cause I'm not a deli fan at this point in my foodie life yet, but Baby lemme tell you ain't s#%€ bland about this spot. Within minutes a bunch of ppl fan in and out. I was only there maybe 20mins with parking, restroom, and deciding factored in. But the people kept coming phone was ringing off the hook. I felt stupid leaving with just a box. Everyone else was three boxes minimum. They serve a wider variety of foods than I expected. Philly cheesesteaks, shrimp, fried rice, fried fish, etc. it's a auntie kitchen kinda feel to it and I loved every surprise. They even wait til your order is in front of you to open box check the order out and let you choose your fry seasoning while the fries are hot. Just need more spicy options yall know how I am

I have to say I was disappointed. Don't call yourself a deli and serve chicken wings and the only deli style sandwich is a sub. I am being a little harsh but I ordered two Philly cheese steaks for co workers - they where greasy. I got a lamb gyro. One piece of meat in the gyro and a bunch of filler ie lettuce. I'll try it one more time and give it a second shot.

Here Today!Boooyeee, American Deli sure can hit THAT hunger SPOT. There is no way, I can be in Sunnyside and not grab me a to-go meal from American Deli. There's usually 3 cooks in the back which is great bcuz they can focuse on their particular job of preparing our food for accuracy. N the cool aide is always sugar diabetes sweet. The wings were small. I don't like really big wings. But they were not regular sized. They have the basic American deli food here. Combo with a Philly and wings always is a hit or miss. This was a miss for me because the food was very mid. I definitely prefer the American deli in ATL.

There was hair in my sandwich and my boyfriends sandwich was made incorrectly. When told that he was allergic to mayonnaise and requesting that they make it over, they refused. We didn't request a refund, just simply to remake the sandwich. The manager on duty (a young lady) refused rudely and suggested we get a refund through the yelp app. There was also a child in the grill area.
