I will co-sign this place any day of the week. As a New Yorker, I have to say this place hits different. The bakery/deli combo vibe makes me feel like I have a little piece of home right here in Atlanta. I have had their lunch before and it was BOMB. But today I came for breakfast. I ordered an egg white sandwich on ciabwith chicken sausage, and a breve latte. And ofcourse there was no way I was leaving without a pastry....even if I was already full . I ordered the pistachio croissant, it was delicious, just the right amount of filling and everything. I had my eyes on that twice baked almond croissant but I figured I'd behave for today , save that for next time. The folks who work here are really friendly, this is a very well rounded place. You can come here solo, with a group, for work, anything you name it (they have WiFi too) and a bar too btw! The fact that this place serves so many purposes is what keeps me coming back.

Had a great first experience here, outstanding customer service. I ordered a smoked turkey omelet, and it took way too long. When they started pumping out lunch sandwiches I knew something was wrong. The manager made it up to me fully, and shortly after I really enjoyed the omelet. The best service is sometimes experienced when something went wrong, bur when they make up for it, it instills confidence in the restaurant and management. The omelet was delicious and plentiful, with chunks of turkey (not sliced luncheon meat) and fresh avocado and tasty potatoes that provided the saltiness and balance. Fresh toast and delicious jam, I thoroughly enjoyed it, along with a tasty iced americano. The pastries looked a bit pricey, but then again, it's in a mall and right next to designer brands, so I get it. I'd expect to pay a bit more but also get very high quality. I'm a fan!

Checked out Alon's Phipps Plaza location on a Saturday morning for breakfast and was impressed at the selection, service and most of all the taste and value for the money. Could I possibly have ordered one of everything?? There is an Instagram post everywhere you look. A market for foodies and pastries, cookies, coffee, sandwiches, you name it. AND they were playing jazz from the 50's and 60's (Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter etc).My husband felt right at home. You scan a QR code to pay after food comes to your table. We ordered omelettes with grits (Cheese is sprinkled on top so you should ask to hold that if you don't care for grits that way) and your choice of bread. Excellent in every way. Definitely to return to Alon's.

I absolutely love the quality of the food here and also the vast selection. My go to is the "build your own plate" menu where you get plenty of options to choose from, the portions are quite generous and the price is good. The veggie selection is plentiful, love the asparagus, quinoa, chickpeas, sweet potatoes. The Moroccan chicken is excellent too. They also have a myriad of pastries that look amazing! The lattes are good too. The restaurant is quite large with communal and regular tables and also a large outdoor seating area. It is located in the mall therefore parking is very convenient. The service is ok for the most part the staff is pleasant but it can be hit or miss.

Went here for breakfast before going to see a movie in Phipps!Really nice European ambiance, with a lot of variety in their bakery and pastry, as well as a brunch/sandwich menu. Everything was really delicious.We also tried their circular croissant, after hearing about it and staking it out on instagram This week's flavor was salted caramel which was decadent and delicious. It's a must try !!The service was also really friendly, and overall had a great experience! Some (but not all) menu items were a little on the pricey side, but nowhere near outrageous. Definitely will be back soon!

I love Alon's. It's wonderful, there is plentiful seating even when it's busy. Everyone is always attentive. The bagels are on another level, make sure to add the salmon/capers/onions. Coffee is good, desserts are amazing.

I arrived around 4pm on Friday to meet up with a couple of friends. I got the smoked turkey sandwich and it was pretty good and simple. I wish it would've been warm meat, because I don't like cold sandwiches but maybe that was included within the description and I missed it. The service was pretty good as well. You order on your phone and they bring the food out to you. This was my first time at Alon's but I'd definitely return.

I'm surprised at the 3 star review for Alon's but can understand how this place can become frustrating when it's busy (e.g. the line to checkout became much longer when we tried to buy some cookies to go on the way out around 1pm). I came to meet a friend Sunday morning around 10:30a and was able to quickly order a pastry and some coffee. The staff who helped me were all very courteous. There is plenty of indoor seating, but It was a nice day so we found seats outside. As we waited for our friend, my husband also ordered a breakfast sandwich that came to the table fairly quickly. The waiters were very polite and took away our dirty plates quickly after we finished and made sure to ask if we needed anything else. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and it's a good place for casual dining when you're not in any rush.

Been a long term Alons customer - 19 years and running. Truly saddened that the Perimeter location closed. As instructed when you call a store - I tried ordering my annual anniversary cake and missed the window online to order by 14 mins for a next day pick up. Called the store and was told there was nothing they could do. 19 yrs = 14 mins. I guess I may need to find a new place to give my business to.
