I was randomly in the area, so why not try a new place out? The gentleman at the front was super friendly and welcoming and explained the entire menu. The combos come packaged in to-go ware even for dine in. I picked the Hawaiian BBQ combo (H2) came with bbq chicken, bbq beef and Kalbi short ribs. The chicken and beef were tender and flavorful, didn't need to add any teriyaki sauce or anything to it. Now the Kalbi ribs :( I feel like there was more gristle than actual meat so it was more chewy, not my fav. The combo came with rice, Mac and cheese and these cabbage underneath all the meat. All the side were great! The picture of the loco moco was my husbands, he devoured it. I'm not a fan of loco moco anywhere, so I'm leaving it out the review. I'm actually never had Lumpia at a Hawaiian spot, only authentic filipino. So, I wasn't sure what to expect. They were hot and fresh, but the flavor wasn't there for me. I'd pass on them if I ever came back, however I'm not sure how Hawaiian Lumpia is expected to taste. They had specials on different days of the week. I would recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

We came wanting to try something different than what we usually eat, and we're excited to try this new place. We ordered the short ribs, pulled pork, and garlic shrimp. The short ribs, and garlic were pretty good. Everything needed a bit more salt. I didn't like the flavor of the pulled pork and it was too dry and overcooked.

This food is the closest to local Hawaiian bbq plates in Hawaii. This is the real deal, unlike Maika'i Bbq which is crappy wanna- be island food. I enjoy coming here to eat. Service is always friendly and the cashier always greets you by saying, "Aloha." The atmosphere is very island style with bright colors and a Caribbean type of look. Mind you, most island local restaurants don't look like this but it's trying to portray an image which is very island-like, so it's cool to me. Being born and raised on the island of O'ahu I will tell you that the food here is a winner in my book and that's a compliment coming from a local island girl!! Come and check this place out. You won't be disappointed!!

I believe this restaurant has been to 3 different names or owners since it's been here but honestly the quality of food and taste has not declined one bit! For the amount of great tasting food you get and the price, it cannot be bested!I always get chicken katsu curry! Love it, crisp chicken, curry and katsu sauce is excellent! The macaroni - excellent. Service is fast, clean restaurant. Will be back!

Having recently visited Hawaii, I was eager to try a local spot for island fare. To note, we ordered delivery late night on a lazy day midweek... Can't speak on the ambiance or dine in experience, so we'll just talk about the food.It was a no frills meal - simple & straightforward. No fancy presentation; just boxed in modest styrofoam containers... But, the portions were generous, the price was fair, and it t was fresh. The menu is a short list of traditional & familiar items... Hawaiian staples like Kalua Pork, sweet BBQ, Spam masubi, and macaroni salad. My favorite items were the Kalua pork and macaroni salad. Both of these tasted very authentic... However, I didn't care much for the "Mixed Hawaiian BBQ" plate. I personally thought the BBQ marinade was overwhelming (a tad too sweet and too salty), the beef was not well trimmed so there were overly-chewy & gristly parts, and the chicken could have been better with a little char. Didn't quite set the bar on this first go-round, but I'd try it again on another day!

Best Katsu I have tried in all Houston! It was fresh and so crunchy. The Katsu sauce is not what you're use to but definitely as delicious! The place is clean and has a cute set up. Service was very friendly and helpful. I love how the Thai tea comes in its own closed lid and it's made freshly at the store.

Overall it was pretty good. I really appreciated that the food was still warm when it was delivered. I wish we had more mac or pork onto the meals though. And the pork was a tad too salty. But if you're craving hawaiian food this is a great place to order from.

Why 5 stars? Because this was the most "hit-the-spot" meal I've had in a long time. --- --- ---We were in the area doing something with our son and were on the hunt for where we'd be going to dinner after. I'd gotten up early that morning to play basketball, so I was in the kind of zone where I felt like I could eat the entire inventory of whichever restaurant we chose. We ended up here and I'm so glad we did.Whenever at a Hawaiian restaurant, it's hard for me to choose anything other than the Kalbi (short ribs). It came with white rice and macaroni salad. Every bite was perfect. I became happier and happier with each bite. There was some kind of dipping sauce that came with it, which was awesome to drizzle on top of the rice. We also ordered some spam musubi and some POG juice to wash it all down. All of it was great. I would be one of their best customers if this place was not 45ish minutes from my house. The owner/manager told me they had been in business for 7 years, which shocked me because they only had 51 reviews as of our visit. Support this place, people of Northwest Houston!

From the very first bite, it's clear that this Hawaiian barbecue spot near my house is a cut above the rest. It's a solid 10/10 for me, and I don't say that lightly. The generous portions, the homemade taste that brings a comfort food vibe, and the variety of sauces that elevate every dish to a new level of deliciousness are just a few reasons why I wholeheartedly recommend it.My boyfriend, who tends to be on the pickier side, cleared his plate without a second thought, which is testament enough to the quality and taste of the food. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, adding the sriracha sauce is a game-changer. It complements the dishes perfectly, providing just the right amount of kick for spicy food lovers. Not only was the food outstanding, but the takeout experience through Yelp was seamless, enhancing the overall dining experience. The affordability is the cherry on top, proving that great food doesn't have to break the bank. It's a delightful place that I plan to return to time and time again.I ordered A. 6 10/10 H.2 & H.3 10/10
