Loved my happy hour experience here! I chose it because my friend and I were going to the paramount that evening for a show and this spot was around the corner. As soon as I arrived the hostess and bartenders were very welcoming and friendly.I quickly ordered some bites and a cocktail before the happy hour prices ended.Luckily the food came out quickly. I tried the veggie tempura, the fancy tots, and salmon fried rice. I really liked the salmon rice out of the apps I had. Then my friend and I split the pasta with bolognese. It did not disappoint!! The pasta was so fresh tasting and the sauce was delicious- I wanted to slurp it up! HahaAll in all, I would highly recommend this place for a swanky happy hour. The drinks were great as well! And I loved the ambiance.

I've had the pleasure of going to Alder & Ash several times - but my most recent visit was for happy hour before an event nearby. Their happy hour seriously can't be beat. They have several $10 bar bites but my absolute favorite that I will sing from the rooftops about, is the Salmon Crispy Rice. It is SO good! And honestly, it's quite filling. Because I'm a glutton for it, I could seriously eat two plates but one plate alone does the job. They also have a selection of $10 wines on their happy hour menu and they're all from the PNW which is a nice touch. The overall vibe here is sleek, sexy, and perfect for a date night or gathering with friends! They have several other menu items that are tasty but if you're pressed for time and looking for a solid HH, look no further.

We just went there for drink and sit at the bar. So, I don't know about foods. But, the server was nice. Also, the ambient was excellent. If you are looking for a place for date, I highly recommend this place! You can have a table just for two of you. Not too loud that you can make a conversation. The server told me that they changed the menu every season and use seasonal vegetables and fruits. They have a special menu for Valentine's Day too!

Food was delicious. I wish I could brag about this place more especially as a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member. Service was horrible. Server never checked on us after initial drink/food order. Manager went to check on 3 tables right next to us and left us out. Drink pours for wine between myself and table next we're almost doubled. Do Better!!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. We came in before a show nearby, so it was definitely very busy, packed with people. We ended up sitting at the bar. The staff and particularly our bartender was very attentive, good energy & rapport. He recommended the Nice Margarita and sold me when he said it had coconut. It was delicious. One-drink-buzz girl worthy!! I highly recommend. For dinner, our group all had salads with added protein. I'll have to say that two things can be true: portions were not big and it was filling (for me being a lighter eater). Our salads were fresh, my salmon portion was tiny and the salad itself very small. More like a side salad size. It was tasty - nothing remarkable. I did love the atmosphere and the staff made a huge difference in our experience. I would come here again, especially for the Nice margarita!

Food - the food was pretty good as was the cocktail. The clam linguini was new but it was a really good item. My partner liked his burger too. I would recommend the oysters - they were very good. Service - our server was fantastic and also checked if we were on our way to a show by a certain time (which we were!). He was attentive and gave us a lot of great info about the new menu. Ambiance - it's a really cool spot! Close to the paramount and it has a comfortable open space with a modern vibe. Great spot for food and drinks near the theaters downtown.

Alder&Ash is located inside Sheraton in Seattle. I absolutely loved the warmth and ambience of the restaurant. The food was delicious. They had quite a few options for vegetarian. I really liked the hummus platter and the mushroom risotto . The drinks are great. I ordered the cosmopolitan and Krish ordered something with scotch. Fun fact: They make scotch in house and distill it at least 3 times. The staff were fantastic and super welcoming. For dessert we ordered the flourless cake and pistachio ice cream. Their huckleberry one is not on the menu anymore but our server was super generous and she got 2 scoops of huckleberry ice cream for us. My overall experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend people in and around Washington to visit Alder&Ash.

Location is fantastic if you're already downtown. Love the vibe as soon as you walk in. Service is attentive, and the bar keepers are friendly and informative about good tasting things and delicious drinks. Arrived at happy hour which was the best thing ever everything on the menu is $10. Including the bite size crispy rice topped with chinook salmon, and my favorite was the caviar tater tots, and wanted to try the hummus because it showed up at the next table over and looked wonderful. It was very flavorful and came with what looked like fire toasted bread. Also had the raw oysters were an amazing deal for six at $10. The food was good enough that we decided to try the salmon entrée and the Cobb salad. Unanimous decision was to return again with our other friends: this is the kind of place you can bring your friends for great food and a fantastic price and they'll commend your choice. Don't forget the desserts: if you're a fan of strawberry shortcake, you will really enjoy the version you encounter here.

I came to Alder and Ash because of their happy hour. They had a set of 6 oysters for $10, which is pretty good. The other items on the happy hour menu that I tried included Caviar Tots, which was a nice appetizer that went well with the oysters. I also got a stout beer to go with the oysters, which if you didn't know, actually pair well together. The dark, chocolate, bitterness goes well with the briny sea taste of the oysters. This also went well with the salmon eggs on the caviar tarts. The menu was very clean had has more of a a fine dining vibe, and is conveniently located by the convention center. For whiskey fans, I saw they had some good options, like E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof, Elmer T. Lee, and Blanton's. The bartender was also cool to talk with. I wish I had more time to try other items, but I guess I'll have to come back!

Really great happy hour here for $10 drinks and bar bites! It's situated in the Grand Sheraton, right across the convention center. Service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the Toronto "white claw" and paper plane for HH drinks, as well as the caviar tots, crushed avocado, and chickpea hummus. Out of the food, definitely recommend the tots and hummus. Portion sizes are great for sharing!
