My 3-item lunch box was only $5.75+tax.
Rice plate choices; the peanuts are delicious, too!
Zongzi (it has duck egg and meat in it, it is a super-sized one)

Love this place. No nonsense, freshly prepared food that looks so good from the store front. You can tell you are onto something when you see a constant line of customers waiting to order. And, the line moves fast.I ordered duck, barbecue pork, and roasted pork to supplement our dinner. But, the real winners look like those who order the lunch specials. Rice, a protein, and choice of two sides from a nice selection of stir-fried dishes. Your selections are piled into a to-go container. It is literally enough food to feed at least two people.

Thought I'd give a popular local sport a try. I'm sad to say I didn't like it. The food itself did not look appetizing nor was all of it heated well. We ordered the A1 bbq pork and roasted duck over white rice. The bbq pork was decent. The roasted duck was cold and very fatty with little flavor. The rice was a little mushy. The service was okay. The lady behind the counter seems to be doing most of the work, but she had very good customer skills! There is also no seating so if you do try it make note of that!

Who has a craving for peaking duck and roasted pork?! This gal!!!! I am a creature of habit but for the sake of Yelp...I will venture out to different Chinese bbq places. Duck was crispy and flavor in skin was good. The meat itself on duck wasn't as flavorful. But what I really enjoyed was the crispy pork. Skin was extra crispy...good flavor! I would return here for just the crispy roasted pork. Parking in ample bc it's located in the side of the Great Wall Supermarket. Service was friendly and quick. Place is for to go orders. Clean. Owner seems nice. Pricing wise...pretty average for whole duck ($28.50) and pork by the pound ($10.99/lb)I also bought some pickled veggies since it doesn't come with the orders anymore.

This is a small place that sells roasted duck, roasted pork, and bbq pork. They also sell sides like tofu. There are specialty plates you can purchase that have a combination of shrimp, abalone, mushrooms, duck, pork, and much more. The meat is chopped up in front of you once you place your order. I ordered the A5 which has rice, roast pork and roast duck for 10.99. The duck was a lil skinny but the flavor was on point as was the roast pork with the crispy skin. The meal costed 10.99 which is a good deal as it fed 2 of us. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend this place.

One of the best Chinese BBQ places in Houston. If you like Sinh Sinh across the street, this place is equally as good (if not better), and without the long lines. I enjoy getting a simple lunch plate here. My favorite is the roast pork with soy sauce chicken over rice. Add a hard boiled egg to it and it would be hard to find a better lunch value for about $11. Keep in mind there's no dine in here and they're usually open early (I've been there about 10:30 and they're blowing and going).

Alan's deli is amazing! $10 for a rice box with 2 meats, and an additional $1 for veggies is unbeatable.

Fast, delicious and authentic Chinese deli food. Snack/appetizer foodThis is a great place to get some authentic Chinese game-day food, appetizers/snack for your weekend binge-watching day or game day. -The roasted peanuts are my go-to, crispy and flavorful. -Mouth-watering chicken: cold chicken appetizer dish, chicken is tender and the chili oil sauce is on point, for only $4.5. Where else can you find this?! -Chinese Paocai (fermented vegetables)--authentic! It is perfectly seasoned and it has a little sweetness to it. It goes with any rice dish, or eat it as a snack. BBQ and Combos The BBQ is always good here. We love the roast duck. We often come here and just get a whole or half duck as our main dish for dinner. This time we got the roast duck and pig ear on rice combo, they gave you a good amount of meat and the price is very reasonable $8.99. We also got the stir-fry combo, you get to choose 3 dishes. I had the stir-fry cabbage, celery and chicken stir-fry, and zucchini and chicken stir-fry, for only $5.25! General portion and authentic taste. Last but not least, the zongzi is a must! It is a super-sized one, it has duck egg and meat in it. Great for breakfast or as a side dish.

I really like Alan's deli. The food is pretty good and the portions are huge and you can't beat the price. You can order other stuff too like fried rice and beef noodle soup. Just look at the menu. The usual lady in front is really nice, the other one not so much. Wish it was closer.

We were just there a while ago. It was a disaster to be there. We had a party of 8 with disabled and elder seniors. The owner was taking our order. He began with a Western style to take order one by one. On the 3rd one, he noticed everyone is ordering milk tea. Hence, he changed his way of taking order. He asked how many milk tea? As this created confusion already, we wanted to make sure he took the order right. We said 4 additional hot milk tea meaning 5 in total. He became impatient telling us we ought to give him only the additional not the total and blaming us confusing him . One of us fought back complaining his bad attitude. That was still okay at this point in my humble opinion. Then out of the blue, the owner said, " If you are not happy, you can go." I think this escalated the heat. We said we will never come back. What's worse, he insulted us, "you will come back if you win a lottery." We don't understand what's the logic. I think he wanted to curse us never that we will have good luck?! Never mind, we are not gambler :) It started with no right or wrong, but my conclusion was a business owner who would chase his customer out should not be rewarded any business if you agree.

Decent offerings of roasted Chinese meats (roast pork, roast duck, char siu (BBQ pork). Refuses to take phone orders, so expect a looooong wait on holidays.
