OMG!!!This place is amazing! We went there for a small family dinner one afternoon and the service was phenomenal. I enjoyed it so much that I recommended it as a location for a large team dinner. They were very accommodating and everyone enjoyed their delicious food and great service from the staff.I would recommend this place to anyone that enjoys delicious drinks, appetizers and main courses. They have a beautiful patio/bar area where friends can gather and take their time. I will definitely be back.

In town for a week and stopped in at fire and vine. We were seated right away and the pizza was very good. Coming from the east coast we don't typically have high expectations for pizza in this region of the country but these were some great pies!Only negative is that some places automatically charge a 22% tip which my wife and I were unaware of and over tipped not only here but in a few places while we were in Colorado - keep and eye on the bill if that type of thing matters to you! Other than that it was really hot out so we enjoyed sitting inside and even though we were near the kitchen it was still far enough for it not to have interrupted our time there.

Greater Denver's greatest culinary shortfall is its Italian food, whether it be Southern or Northern. The region, despite being ladened with ample Italians, suffers immeasurably in this regard. After visiting AFV for the first time, I left conflicted. To explain, I ordered the rigatoni with meat sprinkles, their house specialty. It lacked any semblance of red sauce that a traditional Ragu would have: just pasta with cheese and ground beef. The server brought a small dish of marinara sauce at my behest, and once tossed into the mix, such embellished the recipe. The dish was tasty, but again, there's only so much satisfaction one can derive from pasta plus meat plus oil, yes plenty of oil. It needed the customary addition of at least a modicum of marinara. Finally, the check was about $7.10, actually, precisely $7.10 over what I calculated. The restaurant takes it upon themselves to summarily add a 20% community gratuity to the check. I was a party of one. It doesn't get much smaller than that. When I gently confronted the help about this, they explained it as a house "cost of living" add on. What about the customers' own cost of living? Ambiance is utilitarian but clean. Prices l, before the forced tip, are fine. I somehow find this unreasonable and will likely not return. No bread is provided whatsoever. At an Italian restaurant serving pasta? This seems odd. It's a side order. The grease accumulation within the bowl was, honestly. palpable. I thought that I was imagining things when I first viewed it. It's so considerable that I had to prop up the plate with an inverted bowl to slope the grease into a small pond, on the starboard side. The grease puddle within the bowl measured nearly an inch. Caesar salad: no real ground pepper is available. That's never a good thing. The lettuce was fresh and tasty, but the dressing lacked flavor and overall saturation or pungency.Photos are attached. I think that this place could serve a much needed gap in the Front Range's poor quality Italian offerings, but desperately needs some error correction.

Mediocre Italian food and consistently poor service. First time ordering takeout, I paid for garlic knots and didn't receive them. Gave them a second chance, ordered meatballs, and got a container of meat sauce with no meatballs! That's 0 for 2 on getting a basic order right. Why can't people do their jobs correctly? To top it off, the chicken parm was a huge disappointment--a thick piece of chicken, not flattened like any real Italian spot would prepare it. This place feels like a careless, wannabe Italian restaurant. Not worth it.

I had a craving for a calzone and came across this place and decided to give it a try. It's hard to find a good calzone and this one really hit the spot. Very good, flavorful, and the veggies inside all tasted fresh. I will definitely be returning in the future, and I'm looking forward to trying other menu items.

I went here during Denver restaurant week and will say they had a great deal: appetizer, main, dessert and a drink (cocktail, beer, wine or NA) for 35 dollars with a decent amount of options to choose from and large portions however I wasn't overly impressed with most of their dishes unfortunately. They don't take reservations unless you have a large party but do have a wait list you can join online. I checked at 4:45 on a Thursday evening and they didn't have a wait list to join but by the time we got there at 5 we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. It ended up only being about 10 so not too bad. They have a fairly small parking lot so you will likely have to park on the surrounding street Our waitress was fantastic and brought my husband a refill without him explicitly asking just from overhearing and was quick to get answers to all of my menu questions. Service was also pretty quick despite being busy. The food items I enjoyed were the fried ravioli (nice and crispy) served with a tomato sauce, the hot honey pizza, and the rigatoni and sausage in a tomato cream sauce. The Reese pie for dessert, which is apparently also gluten free, and their strawberry mint mock tail were also great. The Caesar salad was a little disappointing both aesthetically and taste wise. No bacon bits either. The garlic knots were fine and a giant portion but nothing outstanding. Also served with tomato sauce for dipping. They had a salmon pasta dish on their restaurant week menu that looked promising but left something to be desired. Salmon was tiny chopped up pieces rather than a salmon filet and there was little wine sauce so pretty unflavorful. we weren't offered fresh parmesan either which most restaurants do. The tiramisu and cannoli for desserts were also subpar and lacked the flavor I was hoping for but looked nice. My friend had the pineapple margarita and didn't enjoy it but I didn't try it and also would probably not order a margarita at an Italian spot to begin with.I would recommend this spot if you aren't picky about Italian food and want somewhere reasonably priced but if you are looking for authentic Italian food I would probably go elsewhere

Decided to stop by this place after having a craving for burrata and saw they had it on the menu. We were here on a Tuesday around 7:45 and there was a short wait for a table. We were seated quickly and a waiter came over to take our drink order within a few minutes. The service was quick and pretty OK for the restaurant - Nothing spectacular that stood out, but also nothing bad. The pros - the food came out quickly and was pretty tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. The price of everything was pretty reasonable as well. The main dining area was not too loud, and you could easily hear the person across the table. The cons - when I asked for Parmesan, I was surprised to see them, bring out a shaker cheese instead of freshly grated. Also, they tack on a 20% service charge to the bill but state that it is not a gratuity. They aren't secretive about it, but I still did not understand the expectation of whether you were supposed to tip on top of it or what. Overall, it was a good reasonably priced nice dinner, and I would consider returning. Highly highly recommend the baked sausage rigatoni it was the best food we had there!

This was our first time at this location. We used to go to the Cherry Creek location many years ago before they closed. We had family in town and they were coming down from the mountains and love Italian food and so we picked Abrusci's to meet at. We didn't have a reservation and they said it would be about a 45 minute wait. We walked to the bar to order a drink while we wait and spotted a table and was told we could sit there since it is considered bar seating. Perfect! We cancelled our name at the front and sat immediately. Our server was awesome. I wish I could remember his name. He was super nice, quick, and great with recommendations. I tried something new and got the Al Fresca pasta dish. It was so light and the sauce was addicting. Great dish, especially for a vegetarian dish. I would totally order that again. Everyone loved everything they got as well and ended the evening with some delicious cannolis. Man were those good! Great cocktails too. Cool vibe, love their garage doors that roll up making your indoor seating outdoor. It made the restaurant brighter and feel more open. Love it!

Found out about this place at the Brunch Fest a couple weeks ago. They were sampling the West Side Stack and it was DELISH! That prompted us to host some out of town friends for brunch. It did not disappoint. The staff was amazingly friendly specially Hannah, our server. Drinks and food came out with impeccable timing and she was a joy to chat with. The ambience was low key and laid back. The food was excellent! I had The Rev which is a south west style eggs Benedict. Green chili could be spicier but still very good. The wife had the breakfast calzone. She really enjoyed it. Portion size was huge. Nobody at the table finished the entire meal but we all came home with leftovers. Abruscis is a nice hidden gem in Lakewood.

I had been craving chicken piccata and am very particular but just didn't want to make my own. Decided to take a chance on this dish and it was SO good! It's been over a week since I dined here and I'm still thinking "damn that was so good"
