My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at Aavya Indian Cuisine tonight. We've been on a search for exceptional Indian food since we moved to the Collegeville area a year ago, and we've finally found it. Having eaten at most of the places between here and King of Prussia, it's disappointing only that we didn't find this place before preparing to move again. I had the Butter Chicken, and my wife had the Chicken Malai Kabob. The owner also brought us a Chili Chicken to try, on the house. We had a couple nice chats with him, apparently all their recipes are from the Northern Indian regions. We simply could not stop eating. The depth of flavor, preparation, and service were all on point. The atmosphere was tasteful, and the music wasn't loud. Would definitely recommend, and hope we can make it back here one more time. This is the Chicken Malai Kabob, complete with smoking coal (served under cover) for smoky flavor.

Stopped in on a Tuesday at an odd hour and we were the only ones there. Made us a little skeptical so we just ordered a bunch of appetizers and salad to share. We were pleasantly surprised!The food: We tried some common traditional dishes like Chili Chicken and Veggie Samosa and some new ones like the Chefs eggplant special. We really enjoyed all of our food except the paneer salad. It didn't have much flavor so we will skip that next time. We told the waiter that we didn't care for the salad (we clearly didn't eat it). He smiled and didn't offer to take it off the bill. We took a star off for that. I also took a star off for the bathroom condition. The hallway near the restrooms were extremely greasy and therefore slippery. It's very dangerous for customers! Also, the restroom was out of toilet paper and there was no extra rolls in the bathroom. We will be back to try the entrees! Will probably order takeout. Delicious food!

This place is owned by the same people who owned the Indian restaurant in the shopping center next door under a different name for years.The owner is friendly and the food is good.The tandoor platter had a good variety of proteins and was super smoky (a good thing).The complimentary papad and achar (pickles) is a nice touch and good to see that some restaurants are keeping that tradition.

Don't waste your money and time. For a buffet is not worth the money. No food taste bad. I won't be back here or even recommend it to know one. I just wasted my money and left hungry

IN an effort to support our local restaurants, a small group of 12 visited Aavya Indian Cusine last night. Some ordered from the menu and a few accepted the owner's offer of a Sampler Plate. They easily accommodate separate checks too! We were so amazed and confused when the food arrived that we forgot to take any pictures!!! It was a FUN time! I highly recommend you try it too. The food was delicious. I look forward to returning for the Tangy Eggplant Appetizer! Yum. Not too tangy but a touch of honey made it crispy and delicious!Our friend Karen McCaslin organized the outing and a random group of diners from the area responded to her suggestion to Get Out and DINE!

Not the best place around, we tried several different dishes on 2 occasions because I didn't want to leave a negative review the first time. We got an appetizer tHt came with no sauce , paneer was hard to chew. Rest of the dishes were okay but much more expensive than other places around. I would rather pay less or even the same for tastier dishes elsewhere.

sub-par, if that. not only that, but they gave us regular white rice, like white rice you'd get when you order from a chinese spot. if i'm ordering indian food at the very least i'd expect biriyani rice, especially for how much they charge you for an entree. portion sizes are pretty bad too for the price.overall, nothing special at all. save your money and order from somewhere more authentic.

Just found this place! Only tried one item so far but it was goooood. Pretty standard menu with all of the usuals, but I didn't check out any chef specials. Looking forward to going back. I fear I'm going to gain the weight back I lost during Covid!Staff/owners were nice, clean place, no buffet though, for those interested in that.
