Put simply, my experience at A Mano was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. The service, food and everything in between was excellent. I will happily return and would highly recommend. **I don't give out 5 stars lightly (see my profile).

I think the 4.5 you see on yelp is based mostly on location, management, and trendiness. The food wasn't bad, but don't drive from North Fulton if that is your focus. The Good: The atmosphere is nice. The female brunette manager was in tune with her restaurant and recognized when something wasn't right when the waiter (elmers hat) wanted to be on his couch at home. The salad was well executed. Some of the pasta was cooked al dente. Sat upon arrival with a reservation. The Challenges: Our waiter was not attentive or good at his all around job. He was vaping the funny stuff out back when we parked so that might explain it a little. We were not offered outdoor seating which would have been nice. The carbonara was a pile of overcooked thinly made pasta with an egg on top. There were four peas and six pieces of pork. Most of the undressed pasta was left in the bowl. Probably the worst pasta dish Ive had in a while. Carbonara is hard to screw that egregiously. The pesto dish lacked seasoning. The food in general was mediocre. Our waiter ignored empty glasses and didn't provide silverware. The menu lacks diversity. The manager eventually noticed the bowl of pasta sitting there and asked about it. She then removed it from the bill which was nice, but the damage had been done. You are paying for location for the atl trendy's here. Nothing about the experience was at the level of an Il Galio in SS or even Grana which is just ok for me. A Mano was a disappointment overall. I think maybe the youngish crowd doesn't know any better. There are too many other places to try before we'd go back.

Made it back to a mano for a girl's night. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Service this night was rushed and not attentive. Waters were left unfilled and our glasses would be empty and we would need to ask our server several times. I asked for a diet coke refill as well as they didn't really notice I was out.I ordered the bucatini and the fried potatoes. From my last review, I was hesitant on the bucatini and I shouldn't have ordered it. I thought the first time was an off night, but the dish felt lack luster and forgettable. The fried potatoes were the redeeming part of the night and they were DELISH. I would come back for these for sure! A mano came up short this go around for me, but will definitely give it a lot of time before venturing back.

Obsessed with a mano!! I was on a solo trip in Atlanta and was looking for some Italian food when I came across this spot. I loved that I could just grab a spot at the bar (for some reason, I always feel bad taking up an entire table when I dine out alone!) and the bartender was friendly and helpful. I ordered a glass of wine (ok, two) and started with the burrata appetizer. Was in incredible? yes. Did I eat the entire thing by myself? Also yes. Highly recommend not sharing the burrata. For my meal, I opted for the Cacio e Pepe and mmmmmmmmmwow. It is delivered to you just covered in a mountain of cheese with instructions to mix well. For such a simple dish, it really is incredible when it's made correctly! Looks like this spot would be better suited for a nice date night or for a small group of friends. Though, perhaps bigger parties could be accommodated outside. If you're scrolling through reviews trying to find a good spot, stop here. Trust me.

Food was incredible! We visited for our anniversary and we were highly impressed. The staff was so gracious and helpful. I ordered the 2020 Nebbiolo for my wine choice and the as my entree I ordered the pan roasted salmon (flash fried cauliflower, olive relish, citrus, herbs) and charred cabbage (romesco, olive relish, toasted almonds). Everything was cooked to perfect and the flavors paired well the wine. The vibe was contemporary yet casual. Perfect restaurant for a special occasion.

Nice and casual outdoor dining option with good portions and decent prices. We tried the burrata as an appetizer and had the mushroom, spinach, and scallop fusili in cream sauce and the bucatini bolognese. Everything tasted fine, however, I can't say that anything really stood out for it to be somewhere I'd return to.

Food was great. Cute little neighborhood spot. No reservation but we got seated right away. Manager makes it right. Would come back. No room for dessert.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at a mano. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive but did not overwhelm us with too much service! We were lucky enough to also come upon Tuesday wine specials, and the Argentinian white wine was smooth and fruity. Needless to say, all the dishes tasted great, and I appreciate that they were able to keep the pasta al dente--many places (like the White Bull) often overcook the pasta. We also appreciated the birthday gesture offered by the restaurant. My boyfriend received a dessert on the house as well as a handwritten card. It was extremely thoughtful and shows how much effort a mano puts into creating an amazing customer experience. If you are around the area, please give a mano a try. They have great lunch options too!

I really liked the option of sitting indoors and outdoors at a mano. I loved our server as he was friendly and interactive with my party. The server informed us that they were out of some of the items we wanted, especially some of the menu items that were available to my party when they came before.I think the food was good, but I would need to try it another time to finalize my opinion of this spot!

The location is deceptively small - it is truly small but there is a decent amount of seating for what space they have inside, they have multiple cute patios. I had dinner outside and midway through dinner they did turn on a heat lamp as well which was nice. The lighting added to how cozy the patios are. For dinner I had the steak frites which was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, I do wish there was a bit more steak and chimichurri but it was still a decent meal for the price ($23). The fries were also seasoned well and I enjoyed the various flavors of the different complimenting condiments they serve this with. I enjoyed the lemon ricotta pound cake for dessert. The cake was mild and not too sweet, the buttercream with this was divine. I also ordered a lavender limonata mocktail with my meal, this was good - I would have enjoyed more lavender but it was well made. Service was great and overall I enjoyed this place and will definitely come back.
