9292 Korean BBQ

Very good K BBQAll the Meats were very fresh and all the side dishes were delicious I would definitely recommend

They really need to fix the vent system. That's a fire hazard. Their vents were barely working and the air reeked of smoke. If you look up you see white smoke clouds. I saw this table by us.. poor guy, the smoke was just blowing at his face and he couldn't even keep his hands from covering his eyes from that thick smoke! My clothes smelled like I've just been thru a house fire. I've had my share of kbbq and smoke but this is beyond another level. My fiancé's eyes were irritated for the rest of the night. Food was good. I really liked the kimchi and side dishes. They were so tasty and had an amazing variety and flavors. Seems homemade and fresh. We ordered off the a la carte menu. (1) brisket and (2) short ribs). $110+ still pretty pricy but not too bad. When you order off this menu it doesn't come with the tofu side soup. FYI. All sides cost extra including rice but they didn't charge us for the steamed egg and sides refill were free!Service was very quick and great. Overall, I'll be back after they fix this air situation

It looks like a lot has changed since my last visit about a year ago. The quality of the meats was substandard, especially the pork belly. Once the pork belly was cooked completely, it was as thin as bacon you buy at a discount store.I'm very disappointed by the change in the service and the food quality they serve at what once was my go-to K-BBQ place.

Korean BBQ, we didn't want to do AYCE so we just got a few things. The meat and the flavor of the seasoning was good. Only problem is the air circulation and AC was not great. Smokey and hot. It's still a good experience. Might try again next time we are in town.

First off, what kind of KBBQ spot charges for rice?! Isn't rice the one thing you want your customers to eat, so they fill up faster and eat less meat? Business idea, 9292: give the rice away for free, and you might save a buck on the brisket.So, I went to 9292 for a friend's birthday party and left with a bill that made me question every life choice leading up to that moment. They actually charged me for rice. RICE. The staple of all KBBQ meals, the unsung hero that balances out all the meaty goodness. But here? It's like they think they're serving golden grains.And let's talk about the smoke. If I wanted to smell like a campfire, I'd go camping. Instead, I got a nice side of second-hand smoke with my burnt brisket and overdone pork belly. Pretty sure I was coughing up charcoal during the week!The sides were meh, the meat quality was meh, and overall, the experience was just a whole lot of meh. Oh, and did I mention they charged me for rice? Because they did. Unbeknownst to me, I was paying extra to fill up on what should've been the free part of the meal. I mean, come on!In short, if you want to pay for rice, breathe in some potential lung damage, and eat subpar BBQ, then by all means, 9292 is your spot. Otherwise, I'd recommend steering clear and finding a place that doesn't treat rice like a luxury item.

Had a wonderful first time experience at 9292. I LOVE Korean bbq but have never tried this spot out. Plenty of ample parking as it is located in a small strip mall. The service was great! Our server was very attentive. Also proved that the quality of the food tasted better here. Having ribeye brisket tasted better than regular, also having good quality rice. Great side options as well. Also live that they have great options for big groups and small if you don't want unlimited food. Ambiance is great for solo dining or group settings as well. Overall a great experience.

IMO the best KBBQ in Gwinnett county. Have I been to all of them? No. Have I dined at many over the years all around the country? Yes! Why is 9292 my favorite? The charcoal, the quality of meat, the eggs, the soup at the end, the great service. They have it all. I'm not the only one who thinks so because you will see they're always busy.Every time we go, we have never been disappointed. I've always gone with at least three other people or more- and everyone has had a great time.

9292 was actually delicious! We came on a Monday night and it was pretty busy but we got seated right away. Our server greeted us and explained the menu right away. He was super attentive and helped us cook the meat the whole time. He cooked the meat to perfection!Here you have the option to do AYCE or one of their combos. This time we decided to go with combo C and with 4 people total it was more than enough! Combo C served prime beef brisket, prime rib eye, beef short rib, seasoned steak, and shrimp for the proteins. Side dishes were also so good. I love that you get to cook the egg and corn cheese around the grill. We also loved the kimchi fried rice!The combo vs AYCE option ends up being about same price per person but with the combo you get better quality meats which we thought it was so much more worth it. The place is very spacious and clean. I love how it feels kinda private since all booths are separated like stalls. We ordered the Combo B and it was a lot of food for the three of us. We got seated right away on a Sunday evening for dinner. They had a great selection of sides! We really enjoyed the refillable steamed egg and cheesy corn. They saved the best meats for last, the marinated beef. Our waiter cooked for us and he was very attentive. Unfortunately, the vents were not working very well and it was sooo smokey. The smoke was getting in our eyes, making them water, and we were drenched in the KBBQ smoke smell when we left.

This place is awesome. The service, food, atmosphere, and value are excellent. We came in with a party of 7 and were seated within minutes. I've been to a few Korean BBQ places, but the 1st that had charcoal grills. Most I've seen are natural gas. We had a good amount of bon chon dropped off shortly after our drink orders were placed. The restaurant was super generous with the bon chon. It was all tasty. Some of the items were new to me, but it wasn't Kimchi overkill. We ordered the combo D, recommended for 5 folks, but was plenty of food for us. They had a good bar selection for a Korean BBQ place. Didn't try any soju, but it was nice to try the local beers on tap. I would definitely eat here again.
