This is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants in Denver. It's absolutely stunning. The lighting, the color scheme, the original art and chandeliers, and the overall warm vibe makes is a beautiful place to enjoy fantastic food and unwind.The food was amazing! Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious. I can't say enough about this place!! I'm hooked for life!The oysters, the grilled artichoke, the halibut, the branzino, the lobster friend rice...total perfection!I was also surprisingly quiet for how huge and open the restaurant is. It's the perfect place for romantic dinner.

Hate to be the bearer of bad reviews but...Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff which were 5 star. The food and delay was not good. Empty restaurant and the whole dinner took 3 hours because the food coming out was soooo slow for 2 people. The dozen oysters took about 20/25 mins to come out first. And the first one I picked up had the most horrendous smell & so I double checked and in fact it was a very very very bad oyster. Ok no biggie on to the next oyster. Well 3 were bad. So that didn't start the dinner off well. The broiled oyster was great. The tuna ribbons app great but the Hokkaido scallops were tender but lacked a lot of flavor (not a fan). The lobster fried rice was the best and incredible. And the pavlova was great too. They were apologetic about the oysters so they comp-ed them all which was nice. Not a redo place for me.

801 Fish has partnered with the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA). If you are going to the theater, this is the go to place. Upon arrival, and DCPA tickets, we were greeted with valet parking, a 1.2 bottle pof Prosecco and 6 oysters. Nice. Our server, Paige, was phenomenal. The scallop crudo was beautifully presented and delicious. The sea bass tender and tasty. 801 Fish flies their fish in every day so even in landlocked Denver, this fish is the freshest. Beautiful decor, quiet 801 fish is a great choice for a wonderful meal.

Wow.. what an evening. Rarely do I treat myself to a fancy meal but decided I deserved it! We weren't too hungry so we decided to have appetizers and soups and what a perfect decision. First off clam chowder is just clam chowder right? Negative. This was probably the best soup I've ever had in my entire life. It just tasted creamy and fresh. It was simply perfection. The crab cake is another one that you can get anywhere but you're not going to get the ones that you get here. Again it was fresh. It was delicious. It was just YUMMMM. Then onto the shrimp cocktail. My God, it was like baby lobsters in there they were so big.Lastly, we were celebrating a birthday and I put that on the reservation not expecting much. At the end of the meal, they presented her with a signed menu from all of the staff, and it was just such a nice ending to a perfect night. They also asked her at the beginning who was the birthday girl and it made her feel special.This place is the bomb. The seafood is fresh. The service is beyond incredible and you just feel fancy sitting in there. I would highly recommend this for a downtown higher end meal for anyone looking to show off, especially on a date a wink wink.

Ambiance and decor was great, very cozy. Service was A++, Damian took great care of us. Food was phenomenal, everything was good. I had the Diamonds and Pearls cocktail, very creative. For appetizers we had the Uni Toast, Tuna Ribbons and Scallop Crudo. Main course we had the Halibut and Salmon. Fish is super fresh, 36 hours from ocean to table. It was not busy at all, which is a shame because it should be packed. It's that GOOD!

Friday evening dinner and was really surprised at how empty the restaurant was Our booth looked out into the snowy evening. Started out of meal with some hamachi and oysters for appetizers -Everything tasted fresh. For dinner we ordered sea scallops, Maine Lobster, and the Black Cod with clams and mussels. We were so impressed with the flavors. Would love to come back and try more creations off their menu. Service was fantastic and the restaurant is beautiful and classy.

Came here with my partner to celebrate his birthday and we were pleasantly surprised by all the details they put into the ambiance and the food! It was slow, but we were there on a Monday night so it made sense. We had great service from our server Anastasia and she was attentive to every detail.Favorite dishes of the night were definitely the uni toast and the scallops with black garlic and a tasty ube sauce.We could have had multiple orders of the uni toast alone if we hadn't ordered so many dishes, it was that good. The flavors of the uni toast really melted together perfectly.The birthday menu was a pleasant surprise and the dessert was amazing. We enjoyed a delicious bread pudding and an even better side of mango sorbet. Can't wait to come back again!

Wow!!! This place was amazing from end to end and at a solid price point for this level of food. I was brought here for my birthday on a Monday night. The place was not as busy granted it was right after thanksgiving but service was still excellent. The ambiance was really nice as well with the colors, comfort, and also casual. Ordered the following: east coast oysters (Wellfleet, Glacier Bay, and Beau Soleil), uni toast, Spanish octopus, seared hamachi, day boat scallops, and black codAlso got a scoop of mango sorbet which was super tasty. Tasted like dehydrated mangos Favorite for sure was the uni toast (uni from Santa Barbara). Best overs balance of flavors and textures

AMAZING private business event!!! Their team was awesome to work with from the planning stages to the evening of our dinner. The food was delicious, great wine and cocktail choices and phenomenal service all around!
