The Roasted Marrow Bones were made with Tomato and Raisin Chutney, Grilled Lemon, Capers, & Parsley.
The Death By Chocolate Cake was made with Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Cookie Crumble, & Scoop of Chocolate Ice Cream.
This dessert was indulgent & sinfully chocolatey. We loved the contrast of the soft cake against the crunchy cookie crumbles.
The Hash Browns were topped with Aged Cheddar.
The House-Made Soufflé was unreal. The elegant dessert was freshly made-to-order and took about 25 minutes to come to the table.
The Apple Crumble was Ross' favorite dessert - it came out piping hot in a skillet with a generous scoop of cold ice cream to top.
The Lobster Macaroni and Cheese was a decadent side that was my favorite out of three.
For Salads we tried the Beet, Caesar and 801 Iceberg Wedge.
For our steak, we had the Bone-In A5 Kagoshima Japanese Wagyu.
The second small plate was Squid Ink Milk Bread toasted in Hokkaido A5 Snow Beef fat and topped with Red Veined Sorrel Microgreens.
The Apple Crumble was served with vanilla ice cream.
The Grilled Broccolini was seasoned with Garlic Butter, Chili Flake, & Grilled Lemon.
This was my first time ever having Bone-In Wagyu & it was a meat experience unlike any other.
The Tuna Tartare was made with Chili, Avocado, Orange-Soy Glaze, Wasabi Emulsion, Sesame, & Wontons. The best tuna tartare in denver
The House-Made Soufflé was made with Grand Marnier and sides of Chocolate, Vanilla Crème Anglaise, Chocolate Sauce and Mixed Berry Compote.
The Troon was made with Absolut Ruby Red Vodka, Fresh Grapefruit Juice, Simple Syrup & a Sugar Rim .
Chef Francis showed us 801 Chophouse's dry aging locker where we were able to see 801's fine USDA prime beef that is cut and aged in-house.

801 is a steak restaurant in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Very nice prime rib--it's impressive that they even have it on their regular menu. Very few steak restaurants have it unless they specialize in prime rib or have it as a special. It's expensive of course but steak restaurants usually are. Happy hour pricing helps. There are two entrances: the main entrance faces 1st Ave. and the bar entrance is inside the mall.

Went for dinner with my parents and had a nice time! We got the Sunday supper which includes a salad, entree, and dessert along with onion rings. I got the Caesar salad, salmon, and sorbet which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, they overcooked my mom's steak multiple times so her meal was delayed. Eventually, they got it right which was appreciated. Our waitress was also very helpful and I liked the booth seating in the bar area.

I can't say enough good things about this establishment. Brandon was a top notch waiter and provided attentive, kind and informative service. We went here for my dad's birthday and they gave us a private room and special menus for the occasion as a surprise and at no extra cost. The complimentary sourdough bread and butter was the perfect start to a wonderful meal. We chose a bottle of the Duckhorn Merlot which was great. The lobster bisque was creamy and delicious with several large chunks of lobster. The wedge salad was good but it had way too much dressing on it for my taste however the large bacon pieces on it were amazing. I had the dry aged bone in New York strip with bone marrow butter. The steak was perfectly cooked and the bone marrow butter added a wonderful earthy flavor and richness to the meat. The espresso martini was simply to die for and the chocolate soufflé was an amazing end to a great experience with its light chocolatey flavor and several delicious syrups. My family are steakhouse aficionados and they deemed this one of the best steakhouses they have ever been to in the Denver area - which is saying a lot. We will absolutely be back for special occasions and hopefully a date night here and there. Be prepared to spend big when you come here but I promise it will be worth every penny.

Came here for my dad's birthday on a Monday night. I made a reservation on opentable however it was fairly empty, so they were able to take us a bit early. I had mentioned in the reservation that it was my dad's birthday and they had confetti on the table, with a birthday menu and gave him a free birthday dessert. Talk about above and beyond! The front entrance was a tad weird with the curtain but I loved the vibe in the restaurant. Great for an intimate meal or business function. Valet is right out front as well. Shana was our waitress, and she was amazing! Gave us a meat tour to explain the different cuts. My parents aren't big drinkers, so this meal was all about the food. The bone marrow was quite plentiful, I didn't need a started, but I did start with the French onion soup and was stuffed. Hands down the best item we had was the petite filet and the scalloped potatoes! For three people having a starter, with three mains and two side would be enough. We had two starters and three sides which was alot and we had a ton of leftovers. *Love the fact the steak is not cooked in butter! We were very impressed and I plan on coming back for special occasions. Overall Strong 5/5 stars!

First time at 801 Chophouse and will definitely go back on a special occasion. Ambiance is a nice steak house feel and can be a great place for a romantic dinner with your loved one or a great place for a dinner party. Service : our waiter was top notch and went over pretty much all the steaks on the menu and brought out the meat on the cart. It was a nice to see the cuts up close prior to ordering. He made sure our drinks were always topped off and checked on us often to make sure we weren't missing anything or wanted anything. Food : 5 stars!!! The French onion soup is a must have and probably the best I had in ages. The petite filet was cooked perfectly and the single cut prime rib was HUGE. Never seen that big of a piece before. For sides we had a loaded baked potato and creamed spinach. I wouldn't order the cream spinach again , but would try another side for sure. For dessert we split the crème brûlée and it so delicious. I love the nice crunch of the burnt sugar and the fresh fruit. If you love crème brûlée 801 Chophouse has a great one.

This is definitely a special occasion type place for me. I went as one of a small group and we were fortunate to try a few of the items on the menu:Apps:Octopus - served with patatas bravas, the texture of the octopus was just perfect and melted in my mouth. The papatas bravas supported the dish but were delicious and not overlookedBone Marrow - looked like something straight out of a Flintstone's cartoon. So delicious with the toast pointsSteak Tartare - done perfectly, delicious with the mustard served on the sideSalad:Chophouse Salad - underwhelmed. The ratio of ingredients just did not workSteak:Filet. I went with the 12 oz cooked medium rare and was also underwhelmed. The outside was a bit too chewy and left a burnt meat after taste. The others at my table were pleased with their selections so maybe mine was an anomaly...Dessert:Chocolate cake and souffleBoth done very well and reason enough to come to this restaurant.Service:stellar throughout

A great reputation. An excellent bar along with good service, lots of beef choices and fine dining. As to prices, mucho dinero!!!! The dining space is probably over 10 years old and is well maintained. It has lots of dark wood and looks like what you would expect in a mens' club. It clearly expects to have visits from business travelers with generous expense accounts. The bar often contains nicely dressed women seeking to meet successful men with $$$$.
